Chapter 2:
Nexia - World Of Lie's
Four years later
"well, here I am, somehow in another world" Edward says to himself as he walked around the small house. "i’ve learned to walk, read, and talk quite quickly, my fathers name is Max Anderson, and my mom is Lucy Hartley, she's a healer, and he's a swordsman" Edward opened the door to a room filled with books upstairs. "I spend most of my days here, but I haven't found any books about magic."
Edward grabbed a book and looked at the title. "YES!" he says excitedly, finding a book about magic. Flipping through the pages, he came to a conclusion, "it seems like the magic capacity is set since birth, i hope i have a lot, i also discovered that magic is divided into four elements, water, fire, earth, and wind. To cast a spell, you must recite an incantation, and imagine the mana flowing to your hand or staff, and then shape the magic all using your imagination" Edward held out his hand and recited, "Oh holy goddess of water, grant me your power to defeat the evil monsters of this earth." He felt a surge of power, imagining the mana flowing to his hand, but only a small water ball formed. Exhausted, he collapsed, having used all his mana.
Another four years passed
"well that book was wrong" Edward says, casting multiple water balls into a bucket. "Your magic capacity isnt set since birth; you can increase it by repeating spells. And I don’t need to recite an incantation. The authors of these books must be idiots" He says, and then an idea sparked in his mind. "What if I launch these water balls?" Edward went to the window, held out his hand, and imagined the ball launching. He put as much mana as he could into it, launching a huge water ball that destroyed the wall and window. The ball traveled to the wheat fields, causing a heavy rain like effect.
Max and Lucy rushed upstairs to find Edward collapsed with the magic book beside him. Lucy was happy, proud even, that her son could cast magic. Max, however, was a little bit happy, but disappointed, wishing his son had followed in his footsteps as a swordsman.
When Edward woke up, his mother stood by his bed, smiling proudly. "Edward, we got you a magic teacher" she said. Edward looked to his side and saw a girl with blue hair holding a staff. "hello, Edward I will be your teacher, my name is Sarah." Edward was taken aback by her beauty. His father, noticing Edward's reaction, gave him a smirk.
