“Boy, haven’t I told you that a long journey awaits?”
Zeya observed the old man before him. Just as the time he gave him the power, the old one was still wearing the same attire, a white robe, and holding a bronze staff. His appearance also remained unchanged.
“Why did you give me this power,”
In Zeya’s view, without his power, U Agga/ Kava Lamine will not succeed. Thus spoke the old one,“Think as ye want, my child. But I give you the power just to aid U Agga or Kava Lamine,”
Zeya was left speechless by the old man’s words. He was indignant by the fact that his powers were gifted to him just for another person to use. In other words, he got his powers just for the woe of humanity. His heart raged with fury yet he could do nothing freely. As he was in the old man’s realm, He could move no freely. But if he could, he would have attacked him and showed his rage for sure. His eyes were flaming with fury.
“Boy, I sensed your hatred and resentment towards me. I understand you well. But I have my words to fulfill. After making the Ankh, I promised a person that I would help the Arunians whenever they were in collapse. I need to carry it out now. The planet of the Arunians has been destroyed. They need their ancestral skills and magic to reclaim a habitat. Kava Lamine is carrying out that task. The key to using that magic is,”
“The one on my chest. In short, he needed me to use it. So, you gave me the Ankh and made me reach earth,”
“True. After you get power, I made you reach Earth in every way. I made Taterian capture you. I made your spaceship fall exactly on the Pope region,”
"So, you want us, humans, to become the slaves of the Arunians?" Zeya's voice trembled with fury.
“Do you desire the Arunian invasion of Earth? Will you sacrifice us for your promise? You are a slave chained by a promise, you withered one,”
The old man remained calm, his expression unchanged.
“It is true that Kava Lamine’s way of enslaving humanity is wrong, evil, and unacceptable. Thus I aided him only to get power. No more shall I aid him. The rest is his path. What you should see is that you are the Ankh Holder. You also deserve the outcome power of the combination,”
“What does that mean?”
Zeya’s tone has calmed down a bit.
“What I mean is that I let Kava Lamine walk his path. Now, you shall also walk yours and do what you own, my child,”
Then, the stars began fading. The space became darkening. Zeya knew that the old one was sending him back. But using all his might,
“Who are you?”
“I AM” The sounds faded away and he reached back to the hall.
U Agga A.K.A Kava Lamine was still shooting surges of electricity continuously. But he found a similarity between other things and electricity. Although it didn’t sound legit, he tried to control it. Electricity may not be a thing for him to control. What made it differ from other things? He asked that question himself. It was a dynamic field of current that results from the movement of certain electrons from particles. Of course, the current was faster than any other object but the drift of electrons, the source of current, was a lot smaller. Thus, despite the current, he tried to control the drift.
The current caused his heart to slam hard, his skin darkened and his hair rose. His muscles convulsed involuntarily. But he completely ignored all these effects and began his control on the electron’s drift. Just like how he controlled other things, via psychic power, caused the electrons to stop moving. Suddenly, the flow of current stopped.
“Vroom!” The Ankh Figure on Zeya’s chest lightened, and waves of current were shot toward U Agga. Zeya was free from his restraints and stretched his hands apart. Being free from U Agga’s bound, he was as light as a father.
U Agga was repelled by the current but he could save his posture quickly. “So, you are capable,” He ordered the sand robots near him to attack Zeya. He cast a spell and pairs of wings appeared on the back of the droids. Zeya, too, controlled the sand droids surrounding him and fought back.
Meanwhile, Saw Nan Mon and Shin Ye Htut were constantly running from Nagasena. Although Nagasena vowed not to harm Shin Ye Htut, the droids could have stomped him. Thus, he followed Saw Nan Mon. Saw Nan Mon had lost her swords while taking cover. Her flames weren’t effective toward the ogre puppets made of sand. Nagasena fixed the parts destroyed by her flames immediately. A bunch of spells also cover Nagasena from her flames.
While running, they opened one of the doors on the walls. Upon entering, Saw Nan Mon closed the door via her power. They were inside a large chamber. In the center, there lay a stone slab. A wooden staff was on the slab. Its tip was shaped like a cobra. It is ancient, and mystical, and a mystery itself. Saw Nan Mon didn’t think twice and grabbed it, assuming it would be powerful.
Upon touching, she felt a shockwave of goosebumps. Her eyes widened. The memories of the previous owner flashed through her mind.
As soon as she touched, she got a memory of being thrown into a river on a bucket.
“Bam!” Nagasena broke the wall and her head emerged through the ruins. Her lower half was that of a snake. Saw Nan Mon hit her with the staff, causing a decent pain.
While beating Nagasena, another memorial scene appeared in Saw Nan Mon’s vision. She saw a princess of Kemet (Egypt) saving her. Then, the Kingdom of Kemet (Egypt) in its prime emerged in her vision.
Being shy by the pain, Nagasena swung her snake tail, causing the roof above the chamber to fall. She had to grab and protect Shin Ye Htut. At the same time, a vision of a vast desert appeared in her mind.
Saw Nan Mon flew through the ruins and emerged from the ground while holding Shin Ye Htut. Where they escaped was near another sphinx statue, not the one they entered. The captive youths with attached pieces of machinery were also there.
A memory of a burning bush appeared in her vision again. At the same time, Nagsena, the witch Pharaoh, emerged from the ground. She immediately created dozens of puppet ogres, controlling them with witch’s strings. She made them surround the miserable captive.
“Saw Nan Mon… I will end you… and all your cripples!”
As she flew higher, her Pharoah attires glittered. The sky got darker. Clouds got thicker, and the wind got stronger. The surroundings got hotter and unclear. The ground began shaking. The sand rose to the heavens. The witch Phroah had summoned the greatest sandstorm.
Meanwhile, Saw Nan Mon envisioned a crucial piece of the previous owner’s memory. The vision appeared that she was standing on a palace ground, facing people with attires similar to Nagasena. Just as the memory proceeded, she stomped her staff on the ground and yelled,
“Let…my people…go!!!”
Nagasena's body flashed suddenly. “Bam!” Her body got torn in half vertically by an unknown force. The sandstorm was also blown toward both sides, calming it down.
