Black sail of the labyrinth Part 2

Eriza groggily opened her eyes to find herself bound to a chair.

"MORNIN' SLEEPY! You're just in time to witness me mess up your pretty looks," Melinda sneered as she held her selfie stick.

"What's going on!? Who are you!?"

"Me? Melinda, your new overlord that's who! Now, guess I should be fair n all. Wanna join I.L.U. and mess up the world? Refuse and I shave all your hair off. Eyebrows n' eyelashes included of course."

"How's that a bad thing? I shave my head all the time for swimming."

"Oh right... So about joining-"

"No."

"Like mother like daughter. Ironic since you don't even know shit," Melinda sneered as the animatronic gorgon began shearing Eriza.

Eriza didn't engage in conversation though, causing Melinda to grit her teeth in frustration. "OI! I SAID YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW JACK SHIT! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO ASK, "Oh whatever do you mean?" AND THEN I EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AND IT F***S UP YOUR MIND!"

"Then don't explain it."

"TOO BAD BITCH! I'M GONNA ANYWAY! You're a Ginkawa by blood."

"..."

"SHOW MORE REACTION, DAMMIT!"

"So what?"

"UGH! DUMB MUSCLE BRAIN! FINE, I'LL TELL YA WHY I'M SHAVING YOUR HEAD THEN!"

"Cuz you like bald girls?"

"Yeah I- WAIT NO! Though I will admit, I am more into girls than guys. Probably cuz girls are just flat out cuter anyway. Though maybe it's more sadism since I love messing up girls more than guys and- WAIT, ARE YOU SOME SMARTASS!?"

"A what ass?"

"Never mind, you're clearly of the "too dumb to process serious shit" variety. Anyway... You seriously don't feel the slightest bit humiliated that you're having all your hair shaved off?"

"I mean no. I do it all the time. Guess some of the other girls gave me weird looks back in the day, but now they all oogle over me. Guess it can be a bit much when they all start rubbin' my head, but it's sport culture to rub the Baldy's head for luck so no biggie."

"So anyway, I shaved your head for two reasons. First, I'm going to use your hair and your mothers hair to make something. And second, I needed all that hair out of the way in order to put THIS inside your brain!"

Eriza blinked in confusion as Melinda shoved a microchip in her face.

"OH COME ON! IT'S A MICROCHIP! MI-CRO-CHIP! IT MEANS YOU'RE GONNA LOSE YOUR FREE WILL AND BECOME A ROBOTIC SLAVE!"

"I'm not dumb enough to become someone's slave."

"THAT- UGH, WHATEVER! Oi, begin encasing her in cement. I want her last moments of free will to be her experiencing the statue life!"

...

Melinda smirked as the gorgon, cyclops, and minotaur carried the now stone-encased Eriza into a cave. She then made her way to the shore as Emeri and co arrived.

“Ugh! That took almost 10 hours!” Madoka moaned.

"Yeah, and ancient Greeks didn't have cellphones to play with so deal with it! Anyway, welcome to Crete assholes. Here's clue numba two! If ya wanna save your family, you gotta traverse the labyrinth and slay the Minotaur with your bare hands. As previously mentioned, the animatronics will be patrolling the labyrinth. There is also a Minotaur standing guard in the labyrinth’s center. I also set up some life-like statues of your family at the ends of the labyrinth. Every 25 minutes you fail to save someone, the statues will be crushed to bits. And if you fail to save your sister within hmm, we'll say... Two hours, she gets crushed to death. I put her at the center of the labyrinth and even left an antidote for the immobilization serum. But only if ya get there in time. Oh, and here's another key item!"

Melinda then tossed Emeri a ball of red thread, however, upon closer inspection, the "thread" was actually strands of Eriza and Eika's hair glued together. This only intensified Emeri's rage.

"Eriza had NOTHING to do with this!"

"Nah, she's got Ginkawa blood, so she's gotta go."

“Why do you give such a damn about bloodlines?” Yuni asked.

“Uh, cuz bloodlines determine our fate. They dictate how we live our lives and how our futures play out. I was born to the Moriarty family, so I gotta follow its will or something like that."

“Even if they tell you to do something you don’t like?”

“Uh, yeah?"

"Enough banter. Let's get going," Emeri snarled as she began marching towards the cave.

The girls cautiously walked through the dark halls, using their phones to light the way. As they rounded a bend, the came face to face with android gorgon.

“Madoka kick!”

Madoka kicked the android smashing it to pieces. However, she winced in pain.

"Don't push yourself. If you fall, we're both screwed," Serika glared.

"Sorry, sorry. But I can still kick even while carrying you."

Madoka however, began to stagger a bit, forcing Yuni to help support her.

"Ugh, now it's just me. Just great, they're all gonna die because of this shit. Why'd you have to throw yourself in front of Yuni? She would have been fine!" Emeri growled.

"She's not as strong as me. If it had been a poison dart, she might've died. I've got some poison immunity so I'd be fine," Serika stated.

"But you played right into that bitch's hands. Now we're all screwed."

"Not quite. We only have that cyclops to worry about assuming she's telling the truth," Yuni countered.

Suddenly, the cyclops android appeared and charged at them. Madoka kicked and destroyed it. However, she screamed in pain and was unable to walk. Yuni did her best to carry her and Serika, but struggled to move.

“I’m sorry Yuni, I know my tits weigh a ton,” Madoka said as her breasts pressed into Yuni's head.

“Want to crawl?” Yuni growled.

"Maybe you should work out more," Serika grumbled as her feet dragged on the ground.

"I do, but it never seems to improve my strength, at least not noticeably."

Just then, a loud crunching sound was heard echoing through the labyrinth. Tears began to pour out of Emeri’s eyes as she realized someone just died.

“NO! WHY!? IT HASN’T EVEN BEEN 10 MINUTES SINCE WE ENTERED!”

Yuni did her best to comfort her, but she swatted her away. “We have to keep moving. We can’t let the others die.”

...

As the girls neared the center, another loud crunch was heard. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” Emeri sobbed as she matched onward.

As they rounded a corner, they saw a large muscular beast with the head of a bull. It wore a pelt skin tunic with a giant red button in its center. It was the minotaur.

The minotaur charged at the girls and rammed into Yuni knocking her along with Madoka and Serika to the ground. Emeri attempted to smack the button, only for it to have no effect.

“Dammit! It won’t budge! Mado-chan! Can you stand!?"

Emeri got her answer as the minotaur hoisted all her friends on his shoulder..

"Sorry... Too weak, need milk," Madoka moaned.

"OI! PUT US DOWN YOU OVERSIZED COW!" Serika shouted as the beast began to flee without even flinching at the sound of Serika's shouting.

As Emeri chased after the minotaur, she noticed a light illuminating a moped with a bayonet attached to it in a dead end. Curious, she ran over to it and read the note attached to it.

“Should the minotaur threaten to consume your friends you may use this to fight back. I would recommend leaving it be and defeating him with your bare hands if you wish to save everyone, but you're a gamer and gamers use hacks so... Huh? You think this shit's rigged? Nah, this chariot ain't booby trapped, though the tip of the bayonet is coated in poison. But since I know you're a noob, I threw some antidotes in the compartment under the seat should you or your friends f*** up. Just don’t cause any fatal wounds, and you’ll all be fine. – Melinda.”

Emeri whipped out her phone and scanned the moped for traps. Sensing none, she immediately hopped on and rode after the minotaur. She eventually caught up to the minotaur when she entered a large circular room. The room gave off the aura of an underground Colosseum, though the lack of spectators and sound of cheers made it feel more abandoned and scary. The minotaur placed Yuni, Serika, and Madoka down on the bleachers before charging at Emeri. Emeri charged as fast as the moped would go towards the minotaur and successfully pierced his stomach, however, the minotaur kept going, and even lifted Emeri and the moped into the air with pure strength.

“What the hell!? This thing’s way more powerful than the other two androids, don’t tell me this thing’s real!” Emeri screamed.

Liquid began to ooze out of the minotaur’s stomach; however, it was too dark to make out what color it was. Emeri held on for dear life as the minotaur thrashed around. She was eventually thrown off and groaned as she hit the ground with a mighty thud. The minotaur charged toward her, still with the bayonet and moped lodged in his abdomen as Emeri desperately looked around for anything she could use as a weapon. She noticed nothing but a pile of palm sized rocks, and ran towards them, narrowly dodging the minotaur slamming the moped down. She desperately threw them at the red button on the minotaur’s chest, however her aim was bad and her throws were weak. Even the rocks that hit the button seemed to have no effect. Emeri then desperately began checking her pockets to see if there was anything she could use.

“Dammit! All I have is my phone, the room key, my wallet, and some pepper spray. I guess I’ll chance it with the pepper spray and hope it works.”

As the minotaur reached Emeri and slammed down the moped, Emeri hopped back on it, and sprayed the minotaur. To her surprise, the minotaur roared in pain as it thrashed about violently. Emeri hopped off the moped and ran towards the bleachers as the Minotaur slowly began to lose steam.

Yuni regained consciousness just as the minotaur collapsed on the ground. “You beat that thing with a moped!? I've got so many questions, but good job I guess," Yuni nervously smiled.

"Hope you can still move. Yuni can't carry all three of us," Serika grumbled.

"I'm fine. I can still move," Emeri glares as she clutched her side.

The girls eventually reached a flight of stone stairs and ascended to find a stone statue of Eriza. However, a giant metal piston began to descend upon her statue. Madoka mustered all her strength though and leapt towards the piston, shattering it to bits with a mighty double kick. However, the impact shattered the bones in her legs, causing her to scream in pain as she tumbled to the ground.

Emeri immediately rushed over to Eriza as Yuni set Serika down and ran over to Madoka.

“Thank goodness we were able to at least save you,” Emeri wept as she began trying to break Eriza out of the stone.

Meanwhile, Melinda clicked her tongue in frustration as she watched the scene unfold from a video screen. "Damn Madoka. Could've gotten a two-for one splat, but that bitch managed to tap into her freakish strength. Well, guess they can take this round. Now, let's see how the final round will go," she sneered as she turned to face a bound and gagged Eika.

Eika had been stripped of both clothes and hair and tearfully glared at Melinda as her muffled protests rang out.

"Ah, it humiliating for a strong woman like you to be all chained up and stripped? Well too bad. Strong men and women are the type of people I love breaking the most."

...

Emeri panted as she finally managed to free Eriza from the stone. She was alive, but was not waking up.

“Dammit! We’ll need to get her checked out. Let’s get out of here. Once we exit the Colosseum area, we head straight until we find the thread. Then we follow that all the way out,” Emeri stated.

Everyone crowded onto the moped and began speeding out.

"This sure is convenient, but it certainly stands out. It isn't booby trapped is it?" Yuni asked.

"No, I scanned it. It's good," Emeri replied.

"I also don't sense anything dangerous aside from the poisoned bayonet so we're good," Madoka smiled.

As they reached the room with the minotaur, Emeri let out a sigh of relief at the sight of the minotaur still lying motionless on the ground. The red button still glowed, however, Emeri did not want to try messing with it.

The girls eventually reached the exit and headed for their boat. The old man sighed as they arrived.

“You tourists sure are a crazy lot. Well, I've already been paid so hop on. Anyway you succeed?"

"No, we failed to save everyone," Emeri sighed.

"I see, shoving off then," the ferryman sighed as he gazed up at the black sail.

...

The sun began to rise as the ferry neared Athens. Melinda pulled out her binoculars and gazed at the ship. "Oh, we got a big fail! Or maybe they went full Theseus. Welp, guess it's time for a high-dive."

The girls watched in horror as they saw someone fall from the cliff into the sea below.

“Full sail towards the cliff!” Yuni yelled, much to the ferryman’s dismay.

When they reached the cliff. Emeri went pale with shock as she recognized the dying woman impaled on the rocks.

“No… Impossible… Why... Why are you here… mother?”
