Suicide and I

I want to die. There’s really no reason behind it. My time is up, and that’s that.

I stand at the edge of the roof, before the melting sun and red sky which stretches to infinity. I hover above blurring traffic, above the tiny, inferior humans that never stop crawling their meaningless existence away, and I smile.

In my life, there’s only me. In every moment, only I matter. But in this moment, for the first time, I am finally above all.

Everything looks so small below me, so insignificant and puny that it feels like I can crush everything if I just take a step forward and fall. So I laugh and laugh and laugh away, filling the air with bubbles of my feeble happiness, feeling them swim in the wind…

And jump.
