Author note: going forward, chapters will be approximately double the length they have been so far (~2.5-3k words to ~5-6k words). Past chapters will be paired together to match this at a later time.

Additionally, the next section contains a heavy amount of the Goblin language. This is an original constructed language with a wholly original vocabulary and grammatical structure, of which the sections are all written in as heard by Clair. For immersive purposes, the reader is not intended to understand it either (though it is all properly written to its own rules).
Please enquire directly for the dictionary/grammar document if you would like (I may also just add a translated version that can be read later for the full understanding and context).
