I wake up from my dream and quickly sit up. ¨Jeff!?¨ I yell out loud looking around my room. ¨He left..If he wasn’t a serial killer..I would marry him…¨ I say to myself as I hear a knock on the door. ¨That’s not Jeff is it?¨ I ask myself out loud.I look through the peephole to see Ray. Shouldn’t that guy be working instead of bugging me?He really is such a dad I think to myself. ¨Good news,Jade no bodies were found last night.¨ Ray says looking at me with a smile.¨

One night what a true miracle.¨ I say, rolling my eyes. ¨It’s a start at least..¨ Ray says sitting down as I comb my hair.¨Those are some low standards.¨ I say styling my hair.¨You’re not wrong were far from being out of the woods I wouldn't start celebrating until a whole week has passed without seeing another victim…Well..That’s all I came here for gotta get back to the hunt.¨ Ray says leaving.

¨yeah..you do that I have online classes soon anyways.¨ I say out loud to myself as I roll my eyes. ¨He’s been acting weird lately..Guess he’s getting stressed out.You know what? Ima go on a walk Jeff wouldn’t hurt me anyways.¨ I say putting on a hoodie and walking outside. I walked for a while until I stopped in the alley me and Jeff met at yesterday.

¨I ended up here without even meaning to..I wonder if Jeff skipped town like he promised..I miss him..Just gotta get through this semester maybe Ill one day see Jeff again..Maybe not so far in the future either.¨I say as I hear a noise.¨Jeff..?Is that you?¨ I ask as Jeff walks up to me ¨Yep..¨ Jeff says, crossing his arms.¨I thought you might have left..¨ I say looking at him. ¨And why would I do that?¨ Jeff asks, looking at me. ¨Because you told me you would if I spent a day with you.¨ I say looking at the pavement.

¨Well maybe you should’ve known better than to trust me.¨ Jeff says as he smirks.¨Okay,so that’s on me,But I already told you how things are..So you have no reason to stick around..Please just..leave town.¨ I say as I look up at him. ¨No way!I can’t leave now that I met you!¨ Jeff yells. ¨You-¨ I pause for a moment. ¨You aren’t gonna give up,are you?¨ I ask, looking at Jeff smiling. ¨Absolutely not.¨ Jeff says, crossing his arms. ¨Jeff you piss me off so much..I’ll cut you a deal,Jeff..¨ I say with a straight face.

¨Im listening.¨ Jeff says, looking up at me from the pavement. ¨If you’re with me every night,you’ll be too busy gawking at my beauty instead of killing people.So for the next few months,until the semester ends and when I graduate.I’ll hang out with you.¨ I say looking down.¨I knew you would come around!¨ Jeff says smiling brightly with his scars showing his teeth. ¨I’m just trying to graduate so don’t make a big deal of it.¨ I say looking back up at Jeff. ¨Fine,Keep telling yourself that,We both know what you really want.¨ Jeff says looking up at me.

¨What I want is my degree. Well, I only came here for a quick walk,Come with me to my dorm I have homework to do and I wanna keep an eye on you.¨ I say taking Jeff’s hand. ¨You’re so forward,Jade.¨ Jeff says as we both walk to my dorm together.¨I really do like your room.¨ Jeff says, smiling as we enter my room.

¨Quiet I got work to do.¨ I say as I start working a few hours pass with Jeff watching me do homework not a word being spoken.¨Are you sure you’re okay with watching this?¨ I ask, looking up from my homework.¨Yep.¨ Jeff says, smiling. ¨God psychos are something else.¨ I say as I turn and look at Jeff.

¨Any chance you wanna do this for me?¨ I ask Jeff, smiling at Jeff. ¨I would but I didn’t even finish eighth grade so-¨ Jeff says shrugging. ¨Right..¨ I say as I get to work I finally finish after sometime.¨Kay,done!¨ I say looking at Jeff. ¨Lovely,now let’s do something fun?¨ Jeff says smiling.¨Fun?¨ I ask, letting out a small laugh.

¨Nope- its bedtime,I have class in the morning.¨ I say yawning. ¨I thought classes were canceled?¨Jeff asks, frowning.¨Online classes are still on..So you can sleep in the room of my roommate that you killed.¨ I say looking up at Jeff. ¨Oh,I don’t think so.¨ Jeff says, looking down at me.¨Wanna sleep in my closet then?¨ I ask, tilting my head.

¨No dumb ass,were sharing your bed.¨ Jeff says with a smile. ¨yeah no- even if I wanted to..my bed’s not big enough for two people,and I don’t want to.¨ I say looking up at Jeff. ¨Well your going to or I could always leave and find somewhere else to sleep.¨ Jeff says with a sly smirk.¨Ugh! Take the damn bed. Im not about to let you outta my sight.¨ I say setting up the bed.¨You really won’t share a bed with me?¨ Jeff asks, his smile now upside down.

¨Nope,I don’t sleep with guys with guys that smell like blood and only have one set of clothing.¨ I say, rolling my eyes.¨Hey,Its not like I make good money doing what I do,I can shower but I can’t do anything about my clothes,your such a complainer,Jade.¨ Jeff says, staring at me.

¨Don’t flatter me,I’ll see about getting you clothes tomorrow.¨ I say looking away from Jeff.¨How generous of you,I’ll be generous too and let you sleep in the bed by yourself Just this one night.¨ Jeff says sitting down.

¨So generous of you,I get the bed I paid for to myself.¨ I say drinking some water. ¨i’ll sleep on the floor.¨ Jeff says shrugging. Why doesn’t Jeff wanna sleep in the empty room? Clingy bastard I can’t wait for this semester to be over.With that I fall asleep leaving Jeff on the floor.
