Warrior School

I couldn’t sleep well. The anxiety about the new school kept me awake for a while before I finally managed to rest a bit.

When I arrived at the school, I observed the other students. I stopped to see that everyone was dressed in black and yellow uniforms.

Suddenly, a girl approached me and asked if it was my first time at the school. I answered yes. She then asked if I knew which class I was in.

When we went to check, she gave a sarcastic smile and said we were in the same class. I thought it might be a coincidence or something like in the anime I used to watch.

So, I approached her and asked her name. She replied that it was Aiko. She tried to ask my name, but the bell rang and we went to the classroom together.

Upon entering the room, I saw 30 students already seated. I thought this might be some kind of test or evaluation, so I decided to keep to myself and observe. I ended up sitting next to Aiko.

— What luck, huh?

— Yes...

— Now that it’s calm, what’s your name?

— My name is Kazuki.

— What a beautiful name.

The teacher entered the room, asked everyone to sit down, and began explaining the rules of the school and how it operates.

— I know that all of you are here for the same reasons: you want to become strong and powerful warriors to defeat the dark creatures.

The teacher explained that the school has four levels of warriors, with level 4 being the weakest and level 1 being the strongest. The dark creatures also have similar levels: 4 for the weakest and 1 for the strongest.

— Students, I want you to introduce yourselves to everyone in the room.

I wasn’t much of a talker; I preferred to keep to myself and observe. I had never been much of a socializer.
