Chapter 17:
Life of Sophia Sagittarius
Sophia nodded in response to a thing that she already knew again and again. Afterall for which time this was the case at which she was told that she was going to visit the Brech of the Order of the Black lily. It all felt silly and retentive.

“Darcos Veratrin” Aris shouted at a loud angle.
As the ground beneath them crumbled, Aris and Sophia found themselves in freefall yet again, tumbling through the collapsing room. It all happened so fast—one second, they were arguing themselves, and the next, they were plunging downward.
Aris instinctively reached out, his hand grabbing onto Sophia’s wrist mid-fall, trying to pull her closer as the free fall continued. Pulling Sophia up close, Aris witness something that he should have noticed long ago.
Sophia’s face was plunged into darkness, her eyes shut closed, light water strips drawing outward from her shut eyes. Her hands and legs trembling either from the free fall or from the sheer fear of dropping out to a death stare in a hope to be alive on landing. Aris had forced her in this situation countless times for today. He looked like a heartless prick forcing a completely innocent girl into something she never wished for only for some totally baseless lines regarding her historically root.
They hit the ground hard, the impact softened by the debris that scattered beneath them. Aris landed flat on his back with a loud grunt, turning back to ease his discomfort. The wind knocked out of him. In the chaos of their descent, Sophia somehow let go of Aris’s hand, which lead to her flailing in panic, crashing right on top of him, her body landing awkwardly across his chest.
“Ugh—Sophia?” Aris coughed; his voice strained as he tried to catch his breath.
Sophia, wide-eyed and dazed, blinked rapidly, her face inches from his. Her legs were tangled awkwardly with his, her arms braced on either side of his shoulders as she tried to push herself up. But as her vision cleared and she realized their position, her face flushed a deep shade of red.
“S-sorry!” she stammered, her heart pounding in her chest as she struggled to pull away.
But her body wouldn’t move as quickly as her mind demanded. She froze for a second, her hands pressing down against Aris’s chest. The Clam and ever so Collected Aris found out that his heart had started with a race with the heart of the ever so beating Sophia. The pounding of their hearts was all she could hear—hers from embarrassment, his far from the adrenaline of the fall.
Aris, feeling the weight of her against him, lifted his head slightly. His eyes meeting hers, his expression soft despite the situation. “You alright?” he asked, voice calmer now. There was no teasing, no awkwardness.
Sophia nodded shakily, swallowing down the lump in her throat. “Y-yeah, I’m fine…” she muttered, though her blush deepened, and she hurriedly scrambled off him. Her hands slipped slightly as she did, causing her to stumble again before Aris helped steady her by placing a hand on her arm.
As Sophia finally pulled herself to her feet, dusting herself off, she avoided looking directly at Aris. The whole situation felt like something out of an embarrassing romance scene. But this wasn’t some lighthearted moment in a movie. This was the Breach of the Black Lily, and they were far from safe.
Aris stood up after her, brushing off the dirt from his coat. “You sure you’re not hurt?” he asked again, his eyes quickly scanning her for any injuries.
“I’m fine!” she insisted, quickly diverting the conversation. Her face was still flushed, and she desperately wanted to move on from the awkwardness of their landing.
The air around them was heavy and oppressive, the scent of black lilies thick in the atmosphere.
“Let’s get moving,” he said, offering Sophia his hand. “We’re not staying here longer than we need to.” Sophia hesitated for a second before taking his hand. It was warm, steady, and somehow, despite the fear gnawing at her, she felt a little more at ease with him beside her.
The Breach of the Black Lily was an eerie, oppressive place. The air was thick with the scent of decay mixed with the pungent sweetness of black lilies that grew everywhere, their dark petals littering the ground like ash. The walls, made of blackened stone, absorbed the faint, dying light, casting everything in deep shadow. Thorny vines of black lilies curled around rusted iron grates, climbing up toward the jagged arches above, where shattered glass windows let in thin beams of moonlight that were quickly swallowed by the gloom.
It was an Ominous Garden of black Lily that grew up to become a sustaining Black Forest on its own.
“Are you Sure that this is it…” Sophia tried to questioned, afraid of some kind of back lash.
“If My eyes were black 8 balls, Then It would be a YES” Aris Smudged on, a licking taste on his licks. “In the Pervious of our Parents, the Breach was one among the Well-maintained ones;”
“Then What happened?” Sophia Queried in question.
“Well, few members died, few members left and Few members shifted Orders; Which very well Resulted in me being the only members of this crumbling Order.” Aris sighted the words moving out of this mouth out of some kind of unused verses.
“Oh!” Sophia sparked up in surprise; “I didn’t mean to.” she added on, clarifying her words.
“No… It’s that I am way to use to it.” Saying so, Aris pushed the locked metal garden gate open. “Now if we may; Let me show you to the Main Building”
