The once-mighty Azure Peak Sect, a beacon of cultivation in the Eastern Lands, now stood as a crumbling ruin. The once-verdant peaks were now barren, the once-bustling courtyards now silent and deserted. The sect, once a symbol of power and prestige, had fallen into a state of utter decay.

In the depths of the sect's crumbling library, a young man lay unconscious, his body covered in dust and grime. His name was Lian Qing, a once-promising disciple of the Azure Peak Sect. He had been gravely injured during the sect's downfall, his body left for dead.

As the sun began to set, casting long, eerie shadows across the ruined library, Lian Qing stirred. His eyelids fluttered open, revealing eyes filled with confusion and pain. He tried to sit up, but his body ached with every movement. Groaning, he managed to prop himself up against a pile of books.
