A young girl was running towards a metallic door. To be precise- flying; wearing her heavy-looking boots.

"No, no, NO-" her words were cut off as she noticed a disruption in the magnetic fields of her boots.

"NOOOO!!!" Just before she reached a holographic doorknob, she fell on a transparent surface. By the time she touched it, its texture had changed into that of a floor mat.

"You are not going anywhere. Trying to resist will result in matters getting worse for you." A humanoid robot hand-cuffed her.

"Tsk!" She made a displeased clicking sound but her expression looked like she was smiling.

Mika Koizumi is protesting the Battle of Taikai, the war that divided Japan into two separate nations. The battle occurred because of an invasion from Valenmoor. 

Most of the public was brainwashed into thinking that half of Japan had migrated to Valenmoor. But Mika understood that all of that was a scheme made by Valenmoor to acquire Japan's territory.
That is to be expected.
After all, she was an insider of the whole program. Nope, she just got lucky and heard all that from her Setakakataku 120 meters above the 0 flat. Her younger brother always talks about that.

"Where does he get all that news from?" Mika used to think at first.

After some time, she also realized that the country of Western power was taking away Japan's technology. The war broke out soon after some people realized what had really happened. 

The public doesn't know that nor do they know anything about a war and the coup d'état. They are living in a society where everything is controlled by the government. And the person in control of the government can just betray the whole country and the people would not realize anything.

"Mika-nee? Mi-nee~?" Hikaru called his sister.
"Ah! I can't contact her. Her GPS is also down. I thought we were moving out today. Where is the C-space Modulator (house compressor robot)? She is so forgetful honestly." Hikaru looked sad.

"Kiki, come here." He called out for his house's manager robot. 

"Check if Mika is outside the house."

"Got it," the robot replied in a unique voice. Hikaru made Kiki himself! Not too proud of it, but it is better than some pre-programmed AI by the government.

"Kiki reporting: Ms. Mika not found, potentially intruder spotted."

"Hmm." He looked at the security cameras. He started shivering. "Oh, no. They found us. Wait-" Before his brain could process everything completely, Kiki covered up Hikaru in a shield by using its body as a base. Then, an explosion went off cracking the semi-transparent shield.

"Thanks, Kiki, I would've been dead meat by now if you didn't save me. Kiki?" Hikaru grasps as soon as he notices a scrap of waste metal is all left of Kiki the robot. He puts the remains in his titanium bag.

'Looks like I don't need a house compressor anymore,' he thought.

"This is worse than civil war. The government is involved here. They want to get rid of everyone who knows that! And WHERE is Mika?" He started to take small steps. Looking closely, he is floating. "I don't even want to be here anymore."

The young girl looked like she would not try to resist the arrest but her smile was getting more noticeable.

The humanoid robot's arm suddenly started shaking slowly. At last, it deactivated.

The girl used her fingers to stick a small disk to the handcuffs, and they both vaporized.

"I need to change my name in the government files, or people will come after him, too." She updated her name on a device that resembled a smartphone. "S-HI-I-NA KO-BA-YA-SHI." Then, she connected a cable from the device to the robot.

Updated Successfully.

"I also deleted the logs file. That should be it. Now-" She heard an explosion go off. She did not have enough time to react to it. The transparent floor turned into a mixture of purple and black blocks. The roof collapsed. She lost consciousness.

She slowly opens her eyes like a baby. She was sitting on a chair. There were no ropes or wires that tied her to the chair. She tried to jump out of the chair but failed as a barrier appeared and restrained her movements.

Failing to jump out, she pressed a button near her collarbone marked MSG. "I hope he gets the message."

A red beep took away all of her hopes. The button also glowed red once. "Like, for real?  I thought his technology was greater than this!" She tried lying down in a comfortable position.

Regretting her decisions, she struggles to be calm. "Observe, observe. OBSERVE WHAT?" She screamed. "I can't even properly see anything! I am no better than a blind person!"

 She suddenly went into quiet mode. 'Blind... He said I could use blind glasses if something blocked my view. Oh my, I am so stupid.' She remembered that problems tend to have solutions.

She grabbed a pair of normal-looking glasses from her pocket. Then, she put them on and let out a rather sad sigh. From her perspective, the view did not change at all.

By instinct, she tried to stand up again and the barrier reappeared. "Damn it!" She let her anger out and kicked the air. To her surprise, her leg wasn't blocked nor had the barrier reappeared.

She stood up from the chair and walked away. In the very next moment, the chair disintegrated to bits. "OH NO!"

As she noticed her surroundings, the room started to shrink. It was just a normal white-looking box-type room with no sign of modern technology. Without showing any sign of panicking, she quickly located an exit. The ceiling was also shrinking so she tried quickly escaping by activating her flying boots.

Alas! The boots did not show any sign of floating, let alone flying. The ceiling was only one head above her now. She started running for her life. "Yes, I did it-" She tripped before reaching the exit. "-NOOOOOOOOOOO!!"

That was the moment, the room stopped shrinking. The floor shook slightly. Her breathing also stopped; she held her breath.

The sound of an explosion went off. And something or someone crumbled to bits.
That girl was nowhere to be found. And the room was obliterated.
