The arrival of the oni masked figure

            A sixteen-year-old Naruto wakes up from his sleep late at night, the fourth great ninja war had just ended a few weeks ago and all the Konoha twelve had just finished grieving the loss of their beloved friend and team mate Neji hyuga. Naruto as he sits on his bed begins to relive everything that has happened to him recently and his face shows visible sadness and a hint of regret as he remembers all the people who did in the war, Inoichi Yamanaka, shikaku nara and Neji hyuga. These were people that no matter how hard he tried he would never be able to bring them back to life but as he was slowly giving in to his grief, Naruto heard a voice inside him say “Naruto, this war has been hard on everyone and if they were still be alive, they wouldn’t want you to be mourning for them forever. The time for mourning has ended, it’s now time for moving on.” Naruto hearing the voice then replied “you’re right Kurama, we can’t keep on mourning over what can’t be recovered instead we should focus on the now” and as soon as he said that, Kurama said in a very urgent tone “Naruto, I am sensing a huge amount of negative chakra coming from the outskirts of town and it’s nothing like I have ever sensed before, the chakra is very sinister and immense, we have to move now” Naruto upon hearing that quickly dressed into his shinobi attire and rushed all the way to where the chakra was coming from and upon going a few meters deep into the forest that surrounds the village, he saw a figure that was dressed in a black cloak and wore a purple oni mask with eye slits that when one looked through them he saw nothing but darkness. Naruto was observing this person from a tree branch a few centimeters away, the person seemed to be weaving hand signs and when Naruto looked at the person’s fingers he noticed that the person was forming the hand signs of the ram, boar, dog, horse and monkey over and over again until finally the person placed their hand on the floor and said in a very dark and deep voice “summoning jutsu” the normal pattern for a summoning jutsu appeared on the ground as white smoke puffed into the air and when it cleared Naruto saw a black box that was covered in chains and several locks as the figure was about to approach the box when Kurama said in a very alarmed tone “Naruto don’t let him upon that box” and upon hearing what Kurama said Naruto quickly threw three shuriken at the box in order to prevent the figure from opening it and then with speed comparable to that of lightning he was within a hair’s length from the figure and landed a powerful rasengan into he’s stomach. The person was sent flying back wards as he crashed into some near by trees and upon getting up the oni masked figure said in a dark and menacing voice, “it’s the nine tails jinchuriki, I should have known that now that I posses this chakra the nine tails would be able to sense me but you are to late to stop me, now that I have this body I cannot be stopped” he then performed hand signs faster than Naruto’s eyes could follow and created two wooden golems that were twice the size of the average ninja and commanded them to attack Naruto, and in response to this Naruto formed the multi shadow clone jutsu hand sign and created a 100 shadow clones wanting to end the battle as quickly as possible, he sent twenty of his shadow clones to deal with the golems while the remaining eighty stayed with him to aid him in his battle against the oni masked figure. The oni masked figure seeing hat he would have to go up against an army began to form one handed hand seals with each hand both of them forming different seals for different Justus when he finished forming his hand seals he said in a very calm dark tone “water style blazing flood and lightning style parading stream” immediately the battle field was filled with water and intense amount of lightning struck the water shocking every conductor that was in contact with the water destroying everything, including his golems but to the oni masked figure surprise, all the Naruto’s on the field vanished meaning the original was never fighting him and while he was still in shock he heard a voice saying wind style, rasen shuriken and before he could react the rasen shuriken had made contact with him and caused a lot of damage to him even managing to crack his mask. Naruto thinking he had won was about to grab the oni masked figure and take him back to the village for interrogation when to his surprise the oni mask figure got up, this time with a red glow coming out from both of his eye slits and a huge wave of dark chakra oozing out from the figure as he said “it’s time to start taking this fight serious” and before Naruto could notice, the oni mask figure had grabbed him by his face and threw him into the forest like he was a woman’s purse, Naruto flew backwards crashing into a great number of trees and as he was about to land, the oni mask figure appeared behind him and slammed him into the ground. The oni mask figure kept on beating Naruto like a punching bag until just as the oni mask figure was about to land another punch on him, he disappeared and in a furious voice Naruto called out “behind you, his whisker marks were more pronounced as his eyes had changed to that of the kyuubi and red chakra was emanating from Naruto’s body as he said “it’s time for some pay back, and with great speed he began to attack the oni masked figure with a variety of different attacks and then there was a pause but before the oni mask figure could get his bearings right he heard Naruto scream “lava style, rasen shuriken” he then threw the rasen shuriken at the oni mask figure and the attack came in contact with his body before he could move cutting of the oni masked figure right hand but to Naruto’s surprise the arm grew right back and more dark chakra began emanating from him and on seeing what was going on Kurama said to Naruto “be careful, his chakra is ten times more intense than it was previously” and Naruto upon hearing that created fifty more shadow clones and said to Kurama “I’ll keep him busy, please help me to gather enough nature chakra to enter sage mode” Kurama responded to this by immediately starting to gather nature chakra while the oni masked figure started forming one hand seals and laced the hand on the floor making electricity shock everything around him and as all the clones puffed into smoke, Naruto’s pupils became slitted like that of a frog’s while his iris turned yellow with the familiar red markings around his eye lids.

Upon entering sage mode, both Naruto and the oni mask figure went into a taijutsu exchange battle with each other both of them landing kicks and punches on each other and for a long period of time they were going toe to toe against each other until they both jumped backwards to catch their breath and Naruto asked while panting “what is your objective” the oni masked figure responded by saying “ I am but a pawn to the great lord Jashin, he was the one who gave me this power and chakra and now I m going to free him from his prison”. He then gave a great roar as he became consumed by the dark chakra, his cloak ripped apart and his mask shattered like glass to reveal grey colored skin like that of the curse mark in it’s stage 2 state as his muscles grew to massive proportions and he increased in size, his eyes were glowing red and his teeth were elongated and sharp like that of a wild animal’s, great bat wings emerged from his back as two giant horns appeared on his head and in a deep demonic voice he says “you shall now be a sacrifice for the great lord Jashin”. Naruto upon seeing how powerful the oni masked figure had become knew that normal sage mode will not be enough, he then closed his eyes and his whiskers became more pronounced as yellow chakra began to emanate from his body and the markings around his eye lids disappeared and every part of his body glowed bright yellow part from his face which remined normal apart from the fact he now had a vertical slit added on top of the toad slit to give his pupil a cross shaped design, He was now wearing a yellow jacket with a black top and trousers as a yellow circle surrounded by Tomoe was on his stomach to represent the eight trigrams seal.

Naruto looked up at his opponent as he said “it’s time to end this” he then created a rasengan with black patterns on it and used it to attack the monster in front of him as he said “magnet style rasengan” the force of the rasengan was great and sent his opponent spiraling backwards he then created five shadow clones and each of them created a rasen shuriken infused with different chakra natures and at the same time threw all of them at his opponent in hopes that he would be able to defeat him but to both Naruto’s and Kurama’s surprise, the giant beast in front of them stood unharmed and was charging a ball of dark chakra aiming towards them, Naruto seeing this manifested a Kurama chakra avatar and prepared a tailed beast bomb to counter it both of them then fired their spheres of chakra at the same time and they cancelled each other out causing a huge explosion which blew both Naruto and the monster away several meters in the opposite direction leaving both Naruto and the monster lying on the floor unconscious.

When Naruto woke up, he managed to get on his feet immediately and started looking for the person he fought and after walking several meters he found the corpse of his opponent on the floor, Kurama seeing what happened through Naruto said “the power he was using drew it’s strength from his life force and in using so much of it he shortened his life drastically and died.” Naruto looked upon the body with a sad expression saying “why would he go this far for whoever this lord Jashin is” Kurama then responded by saying “The one which you humans call Jashin is a demon born from the negative emotions of humans, when humans use their chakra to fight wars out of hate and spite and vengefulness they harness they corrupt their chakra hence producing little amounts of dark chakra, this chakra when concentrated in high amounts can bring rise to evil creatures called yokai and Jashin is one of these yokai’s he was born from the concentration of a millennia of dark chakra in one spot and he began to manipulate the dark emotions in the human heart so he could extract the dark chakra from them and use it to evolve himself to the point it reached a stage that he actually became as strong as old man six paths but in the end he managed to seal Jashin away in that box as of when hidan was worshipping him, Jashin’s power was at it’s weakest but it seems like he has managed to harness the dark chakra that have been emitted from those Uchiha as of recent” Kurama said this as his mind went to Madara, Sasuke and Obito.

Naruto understanding everything that Kurama had said proceeded to go back to the village so he could inform the others.
