Gaito & The Monkey King!

(As Shibuto and his forces were on the task of saving Goxius, Gaito in the Plane of Arcanedia would serve himself a cup of herbal tea. Enjoying the quietness of the plane once again for he was then enjoying the many events of other major timelines.)

"Gaito: Hm... At least everyone's having their own fun at the moment. But I'll admit, it's been a while since I've been given any company, I'm feeling a little bored."

(Gaito then thinks of who he could invite to the Plane of Arcanedia as he then notices a certain scroll, lays it on the ground, opens it and pulls a certain staff weighing over ten thousand pounds and rests it on top of the scroll. With the audible sound of herbal tea being poured into another cup, Gaito would sip his as the Plane of Arcanedia was then introduced to the smell of a lightened incense and a small gust of wind as the cup on the opposing side was then held and sipped by Gaito's invited guest.)

"???: ...It's been so long since I've had such a regular cup of tea like this. As always Gaito, you never fail to impress me."
"Gaito: I appreciate your praise, Sun Wukong."
"Sun Wukong (Chinese Mythology Legend): How long has it been since our last encounter, a few eons?"
"Gaito: I think about.. maybe forty eons ago?" (*4 billion years ago)
"Sun Wukong: No matter how long ago, I knew entrusting my staff to you wasn't a regretful decision. In the hands of any other soul, I'd probably never come back."
"Gaito: Please, we're nearly the same. We both could come back if we even felt like it."
"Sun Wukong: Well you got me there.."

(The two would drink their herbal tea once again as they continued their talk.)

"Gaito: You know, I called dibs on slaying Buddha first and you somehow beat me to it."
"Sun Wukong: Guess you were too slow, gotta be quick next time!"
"Gaito: I don't think there will be a next time, Buddha's dead."
"Sun Wukong: Speaking of dead, will you ever get that halo off of your head?"
"Gaito: Nah. If I'm to have them down below believe I'm truly dead, I gotta keep this thing on me. I hate this halo but I have no choice."
"Sun Wukong: Hm.. How did you even uh.. get killed?"
"Gaito: Buddy, I'm gonna have to pour you another cup, cause it's a long story."

(Gaito then does so as he explains to Sun Wukong everything that has transpired in this specific timeline, the betrayal of Kazuya, Knitemare's future awakening in power, his talk with Njore and the Elder Guardians and lastly, the ongoing war which is currently in a standby state.)

"Sun Wukong: ...Yikes, you weren't kidding. Not only was it a long story, it's quite the crazy one too. So.. this Knitemare, he's another you of a different timeline?"
"Gaito: that's right."
"Sun Wukong: And he's as strong as this Author you mentioned?"
"Gaito: Soon, he will be. But even everyone down there is taking their sweet time when they realize they'll break out of their imprisonment soon."
"Sun Wukong: You don't plan to go down there and fight?"
"Gaito: No. I'm done being a protector, I want them to protect themselves. This has been a long time coming ever since the first time we've defeated Knitemare."
"Sun Wukong: I suddenly have an urge to fight Knitemare if he'll be receiving an awakening."
"Gaito: Sun Wukong, I say this with utmost respect. Knitemare's not gonna go down easy once he awakens. But if you want to fight him, I can resummon you when it is time."
"Sun Wukong: Ah, I see the incense is about to burn out."
"Gaito: No worries, I have plenty more to keep you in the plane."
"Sun Wukong: Well, when the situation escalates to a high, I will be in the Sea of Clouds, awaiting your call."
"Gaito: Sounds good, I appreciate you coming to visit Sun Wukong. Till next time, friend."

(With the incense then putting itself out, Gaito then opens his eyes to himself back into his sealed away solitude in the Plane of Arcanedia as he then was curious on the other family members. Suddenly, Gaito's heart pulsed loudly as he felt the presence of Kazuya and Knitemare achieving newer heights and is aware of their escape soon to come.)

"Gaito: Hopefully the family can find a way to win. We're fucked if they awaken completely and speaking of..."

(Gaito would reveal the entire time that he was holding the negative spirits Kazuya and Knitemare sent after the other realms hostage.)

"Gaito: You guys have awakened my appetite. I wonder how you'll taste as hoagies..."

(With the lick of his lips and the drooling saliva rushing down his mouth, Gaito would not only make his hoagies, but also eat the negative spirits one by one. Meanwhile on Earth, Lotus Kenhiro was seen minding his business as he was walking his daughter around Tokyo, the two enjoying their time as father and daughter while many avoided confrontation or eye contact with Lotus out of fear for his power.)

"Zakai Kenhiro (Lotus's Daughter): Father? Why does everyone fear you?"
"Lotus: Mm... My dear, there are many reasons to why the public fears me. But I'd rather save those stories for when you're older."
"Zakai: Mm.. Well, what about the onslaught of crimes? Are you going to do something about that..?"
"Lotus: I would, but I'd rather protect my daughter."
"Zakai: But father, I can't be your only priority! You're a hero to Japan and a hero to me!"
"Lotus: That may be, but I cannot lose you once again... Even if that means leaving you out of my sight for a mere moment, the smallest thing could happen to you."
"Zakai: That may be father, but I can handle myself... I'm not saying I don't need you, but I want you to understand-"

(Before a lust-filled attacker from the alleyways could attempt to kidnap Zakai, Zakai acted out of pure instinct, landing a decisive chop to the neck with Lotus delivering the exact same chop to the assailant's neck as well.)

"Lotus: ...!"
"Zakai: Alike you, I'm always on my guard."
"Lotus: Hahaha... I suppose I'm a little protective of you."
"Zakai: I appreciate it too father, but I'll protect you too!"

(With the crowd then focused on the assailant being arrested by nearby Heroes, Lotus and Zakai continued their walk across Tokyo as things were to seem peaceful for now... Meanwhile in the ruined realm of Kazuya, Khomat's very Everlasting Prison was revealing to have cracks growing outside the domain as the clock was counting down before the awakened Kazuya and Knitemare were free from the domain.)
