The man was bleeding. 
The whole house was a wreck, appliances shattered, tables turned over, things broken, with scratches, wears and tears, all over the walls and places. And he lie at one corner bleeding out of the several wounds and deep cuts over his body, a man in his 20s breathing his last. He sat there defeated, he didn't feel any pain anymore, and tears rolled down his eyes that were looking at nothingness.
He pulled out a tape recorder from his pocket. He smiled with a weak sigh, glad that the tape recorder was intact. He didn't have the energy to bring it close to his mouth, he just turned on the recorder and putting together all the life left in him spoke
"Aldric.. my son... This is me... your dad
You probably hate me... I was never there for you, and all I leave behind is a tape recording of my final words... this is the only time you'll hear my voice... 
I... I am sorry my son... I couldn't be a good father... or a good husband
