A few hours into the flight, Okisato yawned as he got up to go to the bathroom.

"AH! My stomach!" Ginji mockingly cried as he dashed past Okisato in order to get to the bathroom first.

Luckily, there was a second bathroom on this plane, so Okisato could go there, but that certainly didn't lessen his animosity towards Ginji. Ever since Ginji's release, Ginji had not only been tormenting him non-stop, but began spouting controversial statements and committing controversial acts, all in the name of team Japan.

It was naturally angering everyone as Ginji was deliberately tarnishing not just the team's reputation, but the entire country's as well.

"I have no idea whether he got in with his DESPER, money, skill, or perhaps a combination of them all, but it doesn't change the fact he's an asshole," Okisato grumbled to himself as he entered the bathroom.

In the other bathroom, Ginji gleefully sat and pulled out his laptop. Since he had paid beforehand, he was free to use the internet and was using it to hold a video conference with some fellow Desperados.

"So you've infiltrated? Good. I hope Oki-chwan likes the little present."

Okisato sighed as he closed the door behind him. As he turned to face the toilet, a tiki's head suddenly popped out of it.

"Mookawaka!" the tiki shouted as it's mouth opened up to reveal a DESPER-like device.

The next thing he knew, Okisato found himself on a giant boat, swarming with tikis. What shocked him though was the fact that there was seemingly no chessboard in sight.

"Welcome... to my ark," a tiki appearing to be the leader stated as he took a bow.

"And you are?"

"I... am Phil Ur... and this... is my ark, the Phil Ur ark!"

Okisato let out a groan as he realized the pun. "Great, I'm stuck on a "filler" ark.

As he looked around, he noticed all the other members of the teams, minus Ginji were all tied up.

"I have captured... your firends... They all... lost," Phil stated.

"Bullshit. How'd they lose!?"

"This device... is a JESPER. It can play other games... besides chess..."

Okisato scowled for a bit before zeroing in on the masked man. Unlike the others that were both bound and gagged, he was simply bound.

"So going to pull back the mask?"

Phil went silent, but nodded and ordered one of his minions to do so. Revealing... another mask.

"Pretty... cool right?" Phil nervously asked.

"No, but it did help me figure it all out. This is all an illusion."

Phil slammed his staff down in frustration as the images of Okisato's friends vanished. He had solved the puzzle, however...

"And why am I still here?"

"Because there is a second phase. You... must beat me... at chess," Phil declared as a chessboard appeared.

"And if I win, I get warped back to the flight I was on before being dragged here. And you-"

"Should I fall, I shall die and HE shall become the next... Phil Ur," Phil declared as he pointed at one of his minions. "And YOU... will die should I prevail victorious..."

"Lovely, well let's begin."

At the high school, Yuusuke and Maida froze as they both recognized Skaberghast.

"Long time no see, Mayana. You really grew into a sexy hot brooding teacher.

"And you're still as perverted and demented as I remember," Maida snarled.

"Huh? Just stating facts... Not like I care anyway. So feel like shaving your head again?"

"No."

Skaberghast chuckled in amusement at how quickly Maida had replied, deciding to give Yuusuke some more context to his and Maida's pasts. Nearly 10 years ago, Maida was studying abroad at Stanford and ended up becoming one of his students.

"Girl was just as brooding as she is now. But boy is she a bitch to science. When I told her to shave off all her hair for an experiment, girl was bald in 2 minutes flat. Even got the documentation here," Skaberghast sneered as he pulled out his phone.

"I'll admit, I had no problem shaving all my hair off in the name of science. The experiment was to test a hair growth formula and I volunteered to be the control. So don't contort my contributions to science to suit your fantasies!"

"Indolence is the sin of not giving a fuck," Skaberghast snickered as he pointed his DESPER at Yuusuke and activated it.

The scenery quickly changed to that of a European city. Much to her shock, Maida had been dragged along too, but before she could protest, she found herself restrained in a salon chair and gagged.

"What the hell! Why'd you drag Maida-sensei here!?" Yuusuke fumed as he sat down at the chessboard that spawned.

"Cuz she's part of the wager. Relax, you lose she just gets shaved bald. Like Punishment setting 7880 bald."

Maida responded with series of muffled protests as Skaberghast's grin became wider and more malicious. "So boy, know where we are?"

"Uh, DESPER space?"

"Nope, this here is the real Budapest, Hungary."

Yuusuke's eyes widened as he realized what that meant. "Then I'll beat you and make you destroy that DESPER to save Maida-sensei!"

Skaberghast let out a whistle. "Big words boy, especially since I kicked your ass so badly last time."

"But I'm playing as White this time!"

"And?"

"I'm gonna kick your ass with that Muzio opening of yours!" Yuusuke declared as he slammed his pawn down on e4.

Skaberghast smirked and responded by moving his pawn to e5. "And when you lose, the punishment you afflicted on Arlecchino Zanni will be nullified, and he shall be healed to perfect health on the spot. And for you specifically..."

Yuusuke went pale as he heard Skaberghast's proposal. "Th- THE ACTUAL FUCK, MAN!? What's wrong with you!?"

"I told ya before; Indolence is the sin of not giving a fuck. So gonna play the Muzio?"

Yuusuke trembled before resolving himself and moving his pawn to f5.

"Telling me your opening prep is a rookie mistake, kid. I could just play something else, but what do you know, capturing's the best move," Skaberghast sneered as he captured the pawn at f4 with his e-pawn.

Yuusuke followed up with knight f3, while Skaberghast pushed his pawn to g5. "Just one more move, and I'll have him. Bastard probably thinks he knows it all, but I studied up on that opening. Maida-sensei... Okaa... I'll save you!" Yuusuke thought as he moved his bishop to c4.

Much to his pleasure, Skaberghast pushed his pawn to g4, allowing him to castle king's side. Now it was a matter of if Yuusuke could truly out-master, the master of the Muzio.
