Chapter 38:
Saved By The Bell!
(With Yoshimura's forces and Daxton's friends battling the Global Government and the Nine Gods of Combat, Daxton was currently being recovered by Zoro who was making a certain chemically created drink to restore most of his injuries.)
"Zoro: Stay with me, Hunter! Stay with me, damn it!"
"Senri: Is he gonna be okay..?!"
"Zoro: Not sure. I don't know what the hell he did while he was here, but if this chemical doesn't work, he's not gonna make it back to America at all."
"Senri: Hunter.. Please, survive...!!"
"Agent #6: THERE HE IS!!"
(With five agents rushing to the downed Daxton Hunter, Zoro would speed up the process as Senri tights her metal handle, revealing a metal staff for close combat.)
"Senri: I can hold them off, do whatever you can Zoro!!"
"Zoro: I'm almost done, luckily my master wasn't kidding about this concoction... Hunter, if you can hear me, don't quit on us yet! I'm almost done!"
(With Zoro in near completion of the chemical drink, a sixth Agent would attempt to attack Zoro from behind before being slashed by Zoro instinctively across the chest. With the drink now complete, Zoro would feed Daxton every drop of the chemical as the liquid slithers down his throat. With moments of silence, Daxton began coughing while quickly awakening from where he landed, realizing he's once again at 50% but would require more time to heal.)
"Daxton: Agh...! Z-Zoro..?"
"Zoro: Good, it worked. Welcome back, Hunter."
"Daxton: What the hell happened...?!"
"Zoro: See for yourself."
(Daxton would then look around to notice Mike, Renzo, Henry, Senri and Kin fighting as Takuji was once again prepared to be executed with one executioner on the scaffold. Daxton thinking quickly, he'd pull one of Zoro's swords, throwing it as if it was a spear with a powerful throw and with direct trajectory, impales the executioner through the chest who then collapses off of the scaffold, falling to their death.)
"Zoro: THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!"
"Daxton: I'm not letting Takuji die, and thanks anyway Zoro!"
(With Daxton rushing to the scaffold, running in his direction was Ikegi and Pandoni, whom Zoro with only two swords left began to take on the two himself. With no one in his way, Daxton was then side by side with Kin as the two worked together to take down any other agents in their way to rush to the scaffold.)
"Kin: Hunter!"
"Daxton: Kin! Look, I know I should've told you about your dad but-"
"Kin: We'll talk about it later, give me a boost!"
(With Kin then withdrawing a sword from her back, Daxton would then pick up momentum, drifts to the side and prepares to give Kin a lift to the scaffold. In position to slash the two out of the way was Kataude whom's very arm was then snapped back by Henry's western whip as Dryomov struggled to be free from Henry's retractable whip.)
"Henry: Don't you even think about it!"
"Kataude: ...You're all leaving me no choice really..."
(With a quick flash step, Henry's retractable whip would be shattered into bits. Out of shock, Dryomov would connect with a clothesline, locking Henry's very chin onto the muscle of his arm with a powerful roar before throwing Henry across the battlefield into the rumble and through the scaffold, the cracking and snapping of wood would be heard and scare Kin into running faster, being assisted by Daxton as Kin flies through the air with her sword free from it's sheath, to remove the shackles off of Takuji.)
"Kin: DAD! HANG ON, YOU'RE ALMOST-"
(With no time to react, Kin was then kicked into the ground by Izumori, tumbling before returning to her feet as she then guards the scaffold.)
"Izumori: You or Hunter will not be taking another step closer to the scaffold!"
"Kin: ...Big mistake, Yumori... Because anyone who stops me from saving my father, IS DEAD!"
(With Izumori in the stance of Aikido, a known martial art style to defend one from swords. With successful parries, blocks or counters, Kin would switch her sword to a dagger to close the distance on her and Izumori. Meanwhile as multiple tremors were heard across the battlefield, Mike and Samai were seen battling hand to legs, Mike only using his bare fists and Samai once again using her powerful kicks which the very collisions would create tremors. With a quick separation for Samai, Mike closes the distance with a thunderous body shot to her stomach, the very punch would be caught by Samai's hand as she was being pushed back onto the defensive, giving Samai the fight for her life before Herok and Turunko from behind attempts to tag team Mike but both fails with Mike backflipping twice, landing where he stands then kicks a large disconnected piece of concrete into Turunko's body, crashing him onto the ground as Herok and Samai realized a dangerous fact, Mike is the true dark horse among the entire raid.)
"Mike: Well, this'll be easy... Very easy."
"Samai: Tch..! I despise men like you.."
"Mike: Well, I'm so.. sorry for not giving a fuck. You can hate men as much as you want but what matters tonight is that your ass is punished. SEVERELY by your truly!"
"Samai: H-HOW DARE YOU-"
"Herok: Empress Samai, leave Ackerman to us."
(With Turunko then freeing himself from the concrete, he then sides with Herok as the two prepared to fight 2 on 1 versus Mike. As Samai then realizes the scaffold is left unattended, she would return to guarding it as Mike then cracks his knuckles then his neck and with a smirk as he then confidently speaks to the two with no filter to his words.)
"Mike: So you two choose to die first? Very well but when I'm done, I'm going to demolish every last one of you and take that busty long legged "empress" for a trophy."
"Herok: OVER MY DEAD BODY, COWARD!"
(With Mike rushing to the two for the first attack, he would begin to deliver thunderous attacks to Herok who's body was as strong as a cruise ship, making him invulnerable to many weapon attacks as Mike was continuing to hammer away at Herok's body with directed and powerful punches. With Turunko relying on his attack speed, Mike would defend himself while remaining on the offense, a tactic that would put many at risk of losing balance as for Mike, such a risk did not matter. With the two separating quickly, Mike pulls a small metal pole out of his pocket, revealing with a tightened clench it's extension and the release of chains on both sides and that this was no ordinary pole, this was a set of nunchakus.)
"Turunko: Nunchucks?!"
"Herok: Aren't those called "nunchaku"?"
"Turunko: In America, we say it differently."
"Mike: Are you two gonna keep talking or am I gonna kick your asses even more worst than I intend to?"
"Herok: Hm.. No matter the case, this guy's dangerous. He can fight defensively and offensively without even breaking a sweat."
"Turunko: Guess we'll have to overwhelm him."
(With the two then working together to break down Mike, the clinks and clangs of the metal nunchakus would ring as if it was a musical tone in Mike's ears while to others was an irritating ringing. Herok delivers a powerful right hook into the metal of the nunchakus as Turunko delivers repetitive jabs to Mike's face with Herok blasting Mike away from the two with a powerful headbutt, drifting Mike through the concrete as he remains on said feet to avoid falling to the ground. With the smile of confidence on his face, Mike then spits out a bit of blood that has managed to escape from a cut within his cheek.)
"Mike: Congratulations, you two managed to actually hurt me, only by a bit much unfortunately."
"Herok: ...He's very resilient."
"Turunko: Speed and strength isn't gonna work on this guy..!"
"Mike: Done yapping? IT'S MY TURN!"
(Mike swings the nunchakus over his head before kicking Turunko across the field and away from his partner. With Mike dodging Herok's ground-breaking punch, Mike catches the nunchakus into his now clenched hand and now performs a combination of attacks. Mike delivers multiple nunchaku strikes directly onto Herok's face, delivers a strong knee into the gut, the cause of the attack forces Herok to fall onto one knee before suffering a pole strike to the back of the head as Mike has revealed to have quickly reshape the nunchakus into a metal pole. With Turunko rushing back to Herok's aid, Mike plants the butt of pole onto the ground, keeping it stationary as Mike catches the fist of Turunko and delivers an evil smirk on his face.)
"Mike: You should've stayed down, fool."
(With no chance of escape, Mike then delivers a brutal knockout onto Turunko by delivering a neck-shattering clothesline, the thud able to echo through the morning of dawn as Herok along with the other Gods would realize a horrifying scene upon their eyes, the 7th God of Combat, Turunko Shinonko was defeated.)
"Herok: TURUNKO!!!"
"Mike: Oh don't worry, you're next, Herok!"
