Season 2 Epilogue

-Month 1 of 4, June 13th, 2024-

(During the one month of hiatus of Daxton and the group, continues a month later the mourning of hundreds that were killed on May 13th, also known as The Execution of Takuji Yoshimura, thousands celebrated the one-month anniversary, including thousands of the criminal underworld as Yoshimura's allies were in depression ever since the death of their idol and Grandmaster. Meanwhile, Daxton attempts to apologize to the group individually, Zoro slamming doors on Daxton, Renzo blaring music in his ears, Senri purposely giving Daxton the cold shoulder and Henry focused on finding archeological myths in China through a book. Outside of the hideout, Mike was walking out in the streets of Japan in the evening, noticing it is most crowded during this time. With Mike then noticing a newspaper, he'd buy one while reading it's headlines.)

"Newspaper: "High Bounties On Government Enemies!"

(Mike then intentionally rips it up and throws the newspaper away after realizing he and the others are on the bounty list as he then sighs, entering a store eventually to buy multiple drinks for the hideout until he was approached by the side by a hooded individual.)

"???: Excuse me sir, how much are those cans of sodas you got there?"
"Mike: They're expensive. But I got a discount, here."

(Mike would then generously hand the hooded individual a second coupon he's held as he then took it and pays for his own cans of soda.)

"???: It's been a month since the execution, right?"
"Mike: Yeah, and one month since the War On Tokyo incident."
"???: Aye... I remember hearing those screams as I sleep, it's difficult. Very difficult to sleep without hearing those screams."
"Mike: ...Yeah..."

(As Mike then leaves the store, the hooded individual begins to follow Mike as Mike intentionally attempts to lose him. With Mike then vanishing from a nearby crowd, the hooded individual then walks down an open alleyway, around an abandoned factory for trucking.)

"???: You can come out now."

(Mike then steps from behind an abandoned and broken down truck as Mike then leans on a stone pillar, curious on what this man wanted.)

"Mike: Alright, you can drop the act, Tyr. What do you want?"

(With a small chuckle, Kataude then reveals himself by removing his hood, despite being under orders to arrest Mike, he refuses but instead, proposes an offer.)

"Kataude: You're smarter than I took you for. In that case, I won't beat around the bush. I know you all are located in Kyudenki Academy's hidden base."
"Mike: ...?"
"Kataude: I really do not believe Daxton relying on old allies for cover was a good idea from us, especially me. You however, Michael had a different plan and that was to return to Korea, correct?"
"Mike: ...Damn. I suppose you knew that the whole time?"
"Kataude: Its your eyes. The eyes are the windows to the brain and whatever their reactions are, it can be read by one with a high IQ."
"Mike: Heh. Guess not all of you are dimwits. So what, you're gonna arrest me now?"
"Kataude: No."
"Mike: Huh?"
"Kataude: I don't see any reason in doing so, instead... There's something I'd like to offer you."
"Mike: ..."
"Kataude: In return for slaying the Dragon Warrior, Xin Sui, I personally would like to offer you the opportunity of a lifetime."

(Kataude would then stretch his hand out, expecting a handshake as he then offers Mike...)

"Kataude: Join the Government and join me in the ranks as a God of Combat."
"Mike: ...!!"

(With such an offer, Mike then ponders seriously for a few moments with silence surrounding the two.)

"Kataude: I can tell what you're thinking and allow me to make it clear what this means. As a God of Combat or a Government Agent of a higher ranking, you will be given Governmental Immunity, making you indiscriminately immune to be arrested upon any order of the higher ups. If you also agree to join the Government, I will free your friends from their bounties by nullifying them, making the bounties unable to be claimed."
"Mike: ...You said, the catch was to defeat the Dragon Warrior, right?"
"Kataude: Yes."
"Mike: And my friends will be freed from their bounties, right?"
"Kataude: Yes."
"Mike: ...Why me of all people?"
"Kataude: Not anyone could just kill Herok like that and on top of defeating Turunko, one of the fastest of the Gods. Not to mention, how could I ignore a man with the last name Ackerman? You remind me of your father in his young days."
"Mike: ...You met that old fart?"
"Kataude: I did, lets just say... He would do whatever he wanted. After all, he was the strongest Marine after his dad."
"Mike: Well, that's true..."
"Kataude: Well Mike? What do you say?"
"Mike: ..."

(With no words to be said, Mike then shakes Kataude's hand, accepting the offer and as of this very moment was a High-Ranking Government Agent as his God Ranking was yet to be known... Back at the hideout, Daxton was then down and begins to think of Kin as he then goes to her room, knocking on her closed door.)

"Daxton: ...Hey, Kin..? You awake..?"
"Kin: ..."
"Daxton: It's Daxton... I just wanted to-"

(The door then suddenly opens as it reveals Kin with black bags under her eyes and her pupils looking lifeless, as if she was a walking corpse. As Daxton then sits with her in the room, Kin was silent as she then sits on the bed, moody yet very depressed.)

"Kin: ..."
"Daxton: Kin...? I know you haven't been uh.. eating ever since the.. death. Can you try to eat?"
"Kin: ..."

(Kin would then remove herself from the bed, attempting to eat 20-day old pasta that was left out to expire as Daxton stopped her from eating the food. He then instead rushed to the kitchen to grab her a apple to start with instead. A few moments passes by as Daxton was finished cutting the knife into edible pieces for Kin as she individually ate slice by slice of the apple.)

"Kin: ...Thank you."
"Daxton: ...! Kin..!"
"Kin: ..Thank you, Hunter. Could you, get my water from the counter over there?"
"Daxton: ..Sure."

(Daxton then does so as Kin was then eyeing the unattended knife. As Daxton then grabs the water, he'd immediately turn around to see Kin attempting to harm herself with the knife slitting through the neck as Daxton pulls the knife away from Kin who began to fight Daxton for the knife.)

"Daxton: KIN, THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!"
"Kin: HE'S DEAD, HUNTER..!! HE'S DEAD AND HE'S WAITING FOR ME...!! I CAN'T LEAVE HIM WAITING ANYMORE!!"
"Daxton: KIN, PLEASE, CALM DOWN..!"
"Kin: NOT UNTIL MY SOUL JOINS MY FATHER, HUNTER!"
"Daxton: KIN, STOP!!"

(As the knife then escapes their clutches, Daxton was then tackled into the wall and despite having one arm, attempted to fight Kin off to keep her away from the knife which was launched into the wall. As Kin the slows down and freezes, her head then collapses onto Daxton's chest as Kin was then silent.)

"Kin: ..."
"Daxton: ...? Kin..?"
"Kin: ...I miss him, Hunter. I really.. do... I thought fate would be nice to me and allow me to spend more time with him... truly as father and daughter..."

(Kin's tears began to burst out of her eyes once again, rushing as if they were a waterfall.)

"Kin: But there's.. no such thing as a "nice fate", right..? There's only.. "cruel fates", right...?"
"Daxton: ...Kin."
"Kin: ...I don't care. If I can't have a good fate, I will carry one instead.."
"Daxton: What do you-"

(Kin would immediately then stare Daxton in the eyes as Daxton then surrenders, dropping his left arm stump and his right arm as the two then continued to stare. With a few hours passing into the night, Mike would return with sodas as the group went about their activities... except Daxton and Kin. Mike would hear a noticeable rhythm against the walls as Mike then blasts music in the common room to avoid the sounds of bedroom acts.)

"Mike: ...I don't think they should be doing that right now... Eh, they'll learn their mistakes."

-Month 2 of 4, July 13th, 2024-

(With the morning arriving, Henry would be the first awake to sniff the air, smelling a blueberry scented kind of flavor as Henry then was surprised at a breakfast buffet for the group was made.)

"Henry: Whoa... You made all of this?"
"Mike: That's right! Cause I actually got news for everyone when we're all awake! For now, just help yourself to whatever you'd like!"

(As Henry then clasp his hands together and begins to make a plate for himself, next to awaken was Senri, joining Mike and Henry, then Renzo, Zoro and lastly Kin as Daxton was isolated in his room, refusing to join the others.)

"Mike: Hm.. I can't say the news without Daxton here."
"Zoro: Just say it now, we'll tell him later."
"Mike: I would Zoro, but that would make Daxton feel less appreciated, so no. HUNTER! Can you come out please?!"

(As a door then opens, Daxton was then wearing a thermal shirt to hide the fact he was "cold" but met with the others as he then refused to eat.)

"Mike: Well, now that everyone's here. I have news. All of your bounties has been revoked!"
"Everyone: ...!!?"
"Renzo: What do you mean revoked?!"
"Mike: Well, I met with the God of Combat, Kataude again after my little walk. I cut a deal with him and now he's agreed to let our bounties go. We're officially in the clear!"
"Daxton: ...T-THAT'S FANTASTIC...!!"
"Zoro: Haha! Leave it to the "mom" of the group to handle situations like this."
"Mike: Ahhhh.. tread lightly, swordsman..."
"Kin: I can't believe we're actually gonna go-"

(Without warning, Kin immediately vomited on the ground as the group then was in surprise but also in fear for her health. Senri would immediately comfort Kin to the bathroom to clean her up as Daxton cleaned up the mess and Mike quickly covered the buffet so neither of the food could be contaminated.)

"Daxton: What the hell happened..?!"
"Renzo: I'm not sure, but I do hope she's okay!"
"Henry: Holy- Hang on, I got some medicine!"
"Mike: Help me put the food away, we'll eat later!"

(With the four the putting the food away as Henry helps Kin and Senri, moments would then pass as Kin then sits outside with the others, catching her breath as she then eases herself.)

"Senri: Are you okay, Kin..?"
"Kin: Yeah.. I'm fine..."
"Daxton: ..."

(Mike being the only one to notice it, Daxton's face of concern as Daxton knew something the others didn't.)

"Kin: I don't know what happened with me..."
"Mike: Morning sickness? Could it be a fever? Are you feeling too hot? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Or... Is there a chance your pregnant?"
"Kin: ...!"
"Mike: Knew it."

(As the others were a little confused, Kin would sigh as she then came out with the truth.)

"Kin: ...Everyone. I've been hiding this for a month now. I... am pregnant."
"Zoro: ..."
"Henry: ..."
"Renzo: ..."
"Mike: ..."
"Senri: ..."

(Simultaneously, they all then say:)

"Everyone: We know."
"Kin: ...? How did you know...?"
"Mike: Well for starters, you're not really a quiet person in the bedroom."
"Zoro: The knocking against the walls were irritating enough."
"Renzo: And you kept yelling his name the entire night."

(Kin was immediately embarrassed at the truths they were told as Daxton then turns to see Senri with her back turned but arms crossed.)

"Daxton: Uh.. Senri, are you alright..?"
"Senri: ..."

(With an audible cracking voice, Senri then speaks.)

"Senri: I-...I'm f-fi-fine..."
"Daxton: Senri?"
"Senri: DON'T TOUCH ME!"

(Senri immediately slapped Daxton's hand away as she refused to turn around. Mike immediately getting in between the two as Senri then frantically out of anger begins attempting to attack Daxton which she successfully lands a scratch across his face, Henry and Mike holding Senri back as she was now far beyond angry.)

"Senri: YOU BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU CHOOSE KIN OVER ME?! HOW FUCKING DARE YOU?!"
"Daxton: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!"
"Kin: Huh..?"
"Senri: I GAVE DAXTON MY FIRST KISS...!!"

(They'd all look at Daxton with confusion but disgust.)

"Daxton: WHEN THE FUCK WAS THAT?! I DO NOT REMEMBER GETTING A KISS FROM YOU!"
"Senri: I KISSED YOU DURING YOUR COMA...!"
"Mike: His WHAT?! Senri, who the hell does that?!"
"Henry: That's sick..."
"Senri: I DON'T CARE IF IT'S SICK, I LOVED DAXTON ENOUGH THAT I'D DO IT...!"
"Kin: ...Hunter, is this true...?"
"Daxton: ...I'm not... Kin, I promise I don't remember..."
"Henry: Okay look, lets all calm down here before things actually get hectic...!"
"Zoro: At this point, let it."
"Renzo: Z-Zoro!"
"Zoro: What's the point? We knew from the damn jump Daxton would end up swinging it around with one of the girls of the group and it has to be the Takuji's daughter. Now Daxton would actually be turning her into a Grandmaster eventually."
"Mike: Zoro, SHUT. UP."
"Zoro: Give me one good reason why I need to, as long as that kid in there is Daxton's, she has no choice."

(With Zoro instinctively blocking the bullet of a revolver, Mike revealed his quick draw as the revolver was pulled without a second thought. Senri then takes the initiative with a knife, attempting to attack Kin as Daxton then kicks the knife out of Senri's hand while kicking her back across the common room. With Daxton and Senri in a melee, Mike and Zoro in back to back confrontation verbally and physically as Renzo then begins to lose his pupils, growl silently as the aura of a demon was growing. Renzo then roars loudly as he then slams his balled fists into the ground, shaking the entire hideout and to halt the fighting.)

"Renzo: ENOUGH!! LOOK AT US..! IS THIS ALL WE'RE MEANT TO BE? UNCULTURED FOOLS WHO'S ONLY ACTION IS TO FIGHT?! MIKE, YOU ARE THE MORE MATURE ONE THAN ALL OF US AND ZORO, YOU'RE TOO MUCH OF A JACKASS TO EVEN BE TALKING!"
"Mike: ..."
"Renzo: And Senri... Attacking a pregnant woman? Are you INSANE?!"
"Senri: ..."

(As Renzo then calms himself down, Daxton then cleans himself up while continuing to defend Kin as Senri then forces herself up and stares Daxton with tears of anger in her eyes.)

"Senri: ..I HATE YOU! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN..!!"

(As Senri then shoves Daxton out the way intentionally, she'd rush to the outside door as Zoro then scoffs and does the same without question, Henry then joining the two as the group officially was under a temporary disbanding.)

"Mike: ...Sigh. I think we all need the rest of the time we have away from each other. Daxton, I recommend you staying here."
"Daxton: ...But what about Kin..?"
"Kin: There's only one thing I can do, I'm going back to the Yoshimura Manor until I'm.. able to compete again."
"Daxton: ...I understand."
"Renzo: If we're all going on a hiatus from each other, then I say it's very necessary. Later."

(Renzo then leaves next as Kin then prepares to leave too, Daxton not saying another word about anything until Mike then speaks.)

"Mike: I'll help take Kin back to her family's home, see you soon Daxton."
"Daxton: ...See you."

(As Mike and Kin then leaves the hideout as well, Daxton was the only one as he remembered the breakfast buffet in the fridge, making himself a plate, heating up the very plate then hesitates on the first bite but then prays first before eating.)

"Daxton: Thanks for the food..."
