Glossary
Agrippa(63BC-12BC): Famous Roman general and politician, Augustus's close friend, son-in-law and lieutenant
Augures: Roman priest in charge of divination, usually performed by observing birds's flight pattern and numers
Legion (Legio in latin): Military unit of the Roman army, usually stationed along the border of the Roman Empire to defend it
Centurion: commander of part of the legion, usually of 100 man (centuria in latin) or more
Cohort: Unit part of the legion, usually made up by 500 man (so 5 or 6 Centuriae)
Imperator: while usually translated as ''emperor'' it means something closer to ''Supreme General'' and it got the current meaning only after many years into the Roman Empire
Legati: High ranking general officers of the Roman army
Quinquereme: Ancient world warships, going back as far as the 4th century BC: they used 5 sets of rowing
