I was discharged from the hospital and been staying at home for 3 days now I decided to call glen

"how are you?"he asked other line"can go back to work now"I askedGlen sigh "I think it's best for you to take all the necessary rest before returning to work. Camella is currently quite busy preparing for her upcoming ballet, so it's okay"

"Uh okay..."I said as I sigh"Anyways I got to go"

"Bye-bye"I said as the call dropped My mind kept circling back to the text message "I can't shake off the feeling that something is not right," I said to myself

"What if something happens to that robot? I feel responsible for her safety and well-being."

My phone rang, pulling me from my thoughts. It was Nora 2,"I've received threats from Chris from human Camelas phone" 

"And I think he's been taking advantage of Camella all this time but I'm not going to let him harm her in any way. I'm going to meet with him" she explained
"He's been demanding money, blackmailing her""
"I've read through Camella's diary," she blurted out. "It says that Chris is currently at her apartment in the East District. I just wanted to let you know but please don't interfere. I can handle this."and dropped the call 

"What if something goes wrong?" I wondered.I can't stop worrying about what might happen

I have to act on my own

I went downstairs and as usual I saw annie infront of my play station playing video games "Annie?can you tell me where can I find Chris ?""Why"

"I have the feeling camela will go their to see Chris and I'm worried about her"Annie's voice broke the silence, a hint of optimism in her tone 

"As far as I know he lives in an apartment complex I can tell you the room number"

"How did you know?"I asked in surprised 

"Don't be silly,I knows everything ""You Creepy stalker"

"I'm not.someone just requested a picture of Chris apartment back then for a good prize so I have to do my research and it says it was belong to camela"

"If you want, we could visit the East District," she proposed. I glanced at Annie, her suggestion catching me off guard. 

"The East District, huh?" I repeated, considering her proposition. "Do you think it's safe for us to go there?"

"We can have some fun and still be nearby in case Camela needs us."  "And besides we won't be meddling or anything. We'll just keep a low profile and enjoy ourselves in the East District." She added 

Seeing no harm in the suggestion, I agreed

Excitement and nervousness coursed through me as I hurriedly got ready. I carefully selected the perfect outfit, choosing something fashionable yet comfortable for our trip. 

After a quick final check in the mirror, I grabbed my bag and rushed out the door. Annie waited for me at the bus stop, and together we boarded the bus, As the bus entered the East District, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the sights before me.

We walked around the townsquare and it was alive with activity, filled with people moving about in their stylish outfits as we passed by expensive stores and luxurious boutiques. 
Neon lights and colorful banners adorned the buildings, casting a dazzling glow over the scene. But what caught my attention were the numerous casinos scattered throughout the area
The day raced by like a blink of an eye. Sun almost setting and We found ourselves strolling through the hustle and bustle of the East District, taking in the sights and sounds. 
"Time really does fly when you're having fun, doesn't it?""Sure is"We walked along the bustling street,enjoying our ice cream cones When Annie suddenly stopped and looked at a group of men passing by. "If I'm not mistaken," she murmured, glancing at a group of men who were walking in the opposite direction. 

"Those are members of a famous idol group that disbanded last year,

"Wait, I recognize one of them..." She pointed discreetly at a handsome guy with brown hair walking amongst the group. 

"Is that Chris?"

"What a coincidence! "I strained my ears, listening in on the men's conversation. "It seems like Camella went back to her hometown," 

"Yeah, that's right," another chimed in. "When are we supposed to get our money from her?" Their voices carried a hint of annoyance, as if they were impatiently waiting for payment.

"Who the hell does she think she is?"

"The one and only camela cranberry I guess"blonde hair guy with an awful haircut replied

As we walked by the men, my eyes caught sight of a key dangling from one of their bags. "I quickly whispered to Annie, 

"Hey, there's a key in his pocket. Do you think you can steal it?"I asked pointing at chris

Annie nodded with confidence."Consider it done," she whispered back. Without a moment's hesitation, Annie abruptly bumped into one of the men, feigning clumsiness. Her movement was so natural, it looked like a genuine accident.

In the blink of an eye, she expertly pinched the key from his bag without a single one of the men noticing.I watched as the men continued down the street, unaware of Annie's successful theft. Then, my gaze turned to the key in her hand, curiosity sparked within me.
Annie quirked an eyebrow, a puzzled expression on her face. "Why did you make me steal that keys?" she asked.. 
"Camella said Chris stays in her apartment," I said. "One of these key might be for Camelas apartment **

I crept into the apartment with the help of Annie,few minutes we heard footsteps I held my breath as we hid in a spacious closet. From our hiding spot, we heard a man's voice from the phone 
"She's got a lot of nerve, ignoring us like this. Maybe she needs a good beating to set her straight.."
"Hey, what the hell?" Chris exclaimed. "My key is missing! Someone must have entered the apartment. And I think I know where they could be hiding..." The door to the closet slowly creaked open, My heart pounded in my chest as the closet door swung open revealing me and Annie, 
Chris looked at us, surprise evident on his face.

 "Wait a sec," he said, realization dawning on him. 

"Aren't you that personal bodyguard Camella hired? The one who begged her for the job?I saw it online"

"This is bad...he recognized me"
"Annie, run! Get away from here now!" I shouted at her, my voice filled with desperation,

Annie looked at me, panic surged through my veins as I noticed something was terribly wrong with her"I...I can't move," she managed to stammer, her voice trembling "Im scared."

Chris stepped forward, a smirk playing on his lips. ""You've probably noticed by now, this closet is filled with a gas that will knock you out cold."he said, his voice dripping with satisfaction. 
"I expected camela would come sneaking in here, so I took the precaution of putting a little something in the air "Chris voice cut through the fog in my mind as I struggled to stay conscious. "This wasn't for intended for you but it looks like my little surprise is taking effect"

"Im sorry "he said with a smile looking down on me

A feeling of helplessness washed over me as I watched her fall, the reality of the situation sinking in. 

I saw was Annie lying on the ground,I tried to reach out to her, but everything was happening so fast. My vision blurred, and I could do nothing but pray for her safety as I lost consciousness.
