I followed Chris through the quiet streets, as we approached the imposing four-story building.
The dimly lit sign above the entrance read "Obsidian Night Club," casting a forbidding aura over the surroundings. Without a moment's hesitation, Chris pushed open the double doors of the club and disappeared inside
.As I followed him. the sounds of the city faded to a murmur.
The interior of the club was a scene of chaos and destruction. Seats were overturned, and objects were scattered around the place, shattered glass and broken furniture
The place was a mess, with liquor spilled and bottles broken, adding to the air of disorder and despair
chris looked around nonchalantly,"This is a mess," he stated, his gaze traveling around the room. "What the hell happened here?" he added, his voice lacking any hint of surprise.
"Oh dear "Chris' worry was apparent as he quickly turned and hurried towards the stairs, his footsteps echoing loudly in the desolate and destroyed nightclub.
I followed closely behind him,
As we reached the top of the stairs, we stumbled upon a chilling scene as we reached the rooftop
my heart skipped a beat as I caught sight of Camella, standing a few feet away.
The night air was cold and crisp, a gentle breeze sweeping through the air and causing Camella's dress to sway gracefully around her with a knife clutched in her hand and pointed threateningly at a man
His beautiful black hair fell around his face like a curtain, and his eyes held a steely coldness as he stared back at her
I called out to Camella, my voice filled with shock and disbelief. "Camella!" I exclaimed, my eyes widening as she turned and smiled at me with her usual emotionless expression.
"Why are you here?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper,
Camella met my gaze as her voice cut through the air" "I received a message,""A message saying that you were being held hostage in this place. That's why I came"she responded calmly.
The reality of the situation hit me squarely in the gut, like a punch to the stomach. I suddenly remembered that standing before me was not Camella but an android, a machine designed for assassination, a mere substitute
"Stop it, Desmond!" Chris' voice suddenly broke through the silence,
As Chris spoke, addressing the man named Desmond, my thoughts raced. "So this guy must be Desmond,"
The man standing before us possessed a striking beauty, almost like a doll come to life. His glossy black hair fell elegantly around his face
His eyes, deep and dark as the night, What was his connection to Camella? Why was he doing this?
"I hate you from the very core of my being," he spat out, his eyes never leaving Camella.
"What you did to my sister was unforgivable. You deserve to be punished camela"
Chris suddenly rushed forward, closing the distance slightly "Desmond, put your gun down," he exclaimed, his voice firm and authoritative.
"Camella never had anything to do with Deshna's death. It was never her fault. Deshna took her own life on her own will," he spoke, his words resonating with a painful truth.
His eyes darted between Camella and Desmond, the tension in the air palpable and the situation on a knife's edge
Deshna?
Showbiz news is my life so I definitely heard about this one infact Annie also wrote an article in regards with this
If i recalled correctly ,shes also an actress who had been constantly overshadowed by Camella, who always seemed to take the spotlight. Because of the constant comparison and pressure weighed heavily on Deshna, and And how th media and public had frequently pitted her against Camella, is the reason of her leading to a dark path of depression.
Her struggles with self-worth and the unrelenting stress had eventually led her to make the heartbreaking decision to end her own life. 3 months ago
As Desmond turned his attention to me, I froze in horror, watching as he aimed the gun in my direction. But before he could pull the trigger, Camela bolted forward, pouncing on him in a flurry of movement.
Despite Camella's determined attack, Desmond proved to be a skilled opponent. He managed to block her knife attacks, parrying her strikes effortlessly.
He moved with surprising agility, his reflexes lightning fast as he evaded her every move.
As I watched the two struggle, I found myself watching Camella closely, and I noticed something alarming.
Her usual intense and focused eyes had started to dim, the light in them growing weaker with each passing moment.
Desmond's breathing became ragged as he tired under the onslaught of Camella's attacks. He stumbled and fell to the ground, he's running out of energy Camella snatched a large piece of wood from floor and walks towards him
Ignoring the consequences, I rushed towards Camella, determined to stop her, even knowing that I had no chance against a robot in a physical confrontation. As expected, she easily overpowered me, pinning me to the ground with her greater strength. With a knife clutched in her hand, she towered above me
In that moment, Chris stepped in, grabbing Camella's arm and forcefully pushing her away from me.
"Chris, get away from her!" I called out, my heart racing with fear. But Chris ignored meinstead of backing off, he gently embraced Camella, his voice soft and tinged with regret as he whispered "I'm sorry, Camella" to her.
Her eyes, which had been dim and fierce, seemed to revert back to their usual intensity. I couldn't help but wonder if Camella was malfunctioning or if there was more to this unexpected change in her behavior.
