War In The Upper Realm

  Above the realm of the mortals, far above the skies and space, there was a great kingdom made of silver and gold. In this kingdom, there lived a divine race called the celestials. They had the form of regular humans, but each of them were able to manipulate and had power over a specific element in the universe. From basic elements like water, fire, air, and water to very complex elements like time, space, gravity, light and darkness. Each celestial had the role of monitoring and controlling the element they had dominion over cause if they didn't the element will become wild and bring about disaster to the mortal realm. The celestial wore a white silk cloth, with red robes over the silk cloth and each celestial was adorned with a crown on their head, each one specially carved to represent the element they had dominion over.

Celestials were essentially immortal, with the only way they could die being if the element they have dominion over is to no longer exist. They spent most of their days in their realm called the celestial realm and watched over the humans in the mortal realm, they provided rain for them and brought about the changing of the seasons. This was the job of a celestial to bring about balance and extinguish anyone or anything that plans to destroy it even if it means the erasure of their own brethren. In which case, the other celestials separate the rouge celestial from their element using the all powerful book called the Enkairadion which is a book that contains the history of the universe from the past to the future. The book was written by the very first celestial who came into existence and by altering with a page or a sentence within the book, you can do anything ranging from rewriting the past to altering the future. The book was used to rewrite the past of a celestial to seperate them from element, then write a new celestial into existence and take over the element that was taken away from the former. The rogue celestial will be killed off due to it no longer having an element, and their bodies will disintegrate into stars and fall into space.

This was how the celestials operated until one fateful day, the celestial who had dominion over darkness became corrupt, his mind was poisoned with greed, jealousy and envy. He wanted all the powers of the other celestials for himself and in order to achieve that he tore a blank page from the Enkairadion and used it to transfer the powers of the fire celestial, water celestial, earth celestial, wind celestial and the celestial of matter. Upon transferring those elements to himself, his veins began to bulge as taming the entirety of five elements was taxing to the body of a celestial. After all, the strongest mortal won't even be able to tame the entirety of a single element.

It took awhile but once his body got used to taming the five elements, he began to sow the seeds of doubt and greed into the mind of other celestials and eventually they got corrupted. When the forces on the side of the darkness celestial had grown to a large amount, they waged a war against the remaining celestials to take over but the remaining portion of good celestials banded together under the leadership of the light celestial and the great war began.

The war lasted for a month and during that time period the elements became out of whack in the mortal realm, the sun and moon rose at the same time, it rained and snowed and hailed all at once and people rapidly aged and died while sum began to regress back in time until they became unborn. The humans in fear began to pray out of desperation to the celestials and upon getting no response, they turned towards each other and eventually lowered their population so much that they were on the verge of extinction.

Meanwhile in the celestial realm, in order to end the war the celestial of destruction/erasure destroyed the Enkairadion in hopes that it would reset the universe and as she expected it did but the celestial of darkness using the page of the Enkairadion he had rewrote himself as the only celestial in existence. Hence the world was reset, but this time there was only one celestial who controlled all the elements of the universe which was the former celestial of darkness and every other celestial was written out of existence.

The celestial of darkness having all the power he could ever attain became bored and mae the humans suffer in order to entertain himself, the humans upon suffering for a long amount of time did the only thing they knew they could do against a divine entity, they united together and prayed to another entity that they knew didn't exist but they were desperate and deep inside them, although they didn't know why they had hope. The humans by praying to no one had unconsciously passed their spiritual power to the scattered pieces of the Enkairadion and with the power of their hope where able to restore one page and write a sentence "A mortal born from a fallen celestial will one day conquer the ruler and bring peace to the universe." and the darkness celestial upon seeing what had happened knew that in order to be able to hold his current position as the ruler of the elements, he would have to restore the pieces of the Enkairadion and put an end to the humans by writing their final chapter.

Meanwhile back on the mortal realm, the celestial of destruction was reformed but she no longer had her powers and she was now wearing the robes of a mortal being. She remembered vividly everything that had happened, even things that had happened while she was no longer in existence and upon looking at her stomach she saw that it was terribly swollen, she at once knew that she was pregnant and she knew the role she would have to play in her child's life as it would be her responsibility to protect him, teach him and guide him towards his destiny as he embarks on his journey to divinity.
