Brother down

Jason begins the conversation by saying "I don't know where to begin with this but--- apparently, one of my men had fed information back to my uncle back in Londinium and enlisted the assistance of those MORBID nuisance that are Zaza!" Jason slams the table again in anger.

"Sorry." Jason says as he calms down. "And after leaking this information, nearly a quarter of the people working with me have gone rogue or missing."

Liam says "And they sent those spies on us and even destroyed Grant's home... But why? And why did your dad looked paranoid?"

Puzzled, Yuri asks "Wouldn't his father casually be worried that his possession would be destroyed? Why would it matter if he was paranoid?"

Grant answers "Because my father never keeps anything valuable or important in the house, as he says it reminds his past." Grant pauses for a second "Unless... I have to go back to the house." Grant gets up and goes to leave.

"Wait!" Shouted Jason as he ran after Grant. "Zaza's people will be expecting you there and--"

Grant interrupts him saying "Like I'll let some cyberpunk rejects get in my way!"

Liam runs after Grant, saying "But Grant, we need to think strategically--" Grant suddenly stopped, he felt his head becoming light. He knelt on one knee, worrying Liam. Liam asked "Woah Grant, you okay? Grant? Grant?"

Grant looked at the environment around him, he looked at Liam, answering "I-I-I... I must be experiencing some fatigue or... something like that... I should get some..." Grant fell to the ground. Everything went dark.

Hours later, Grant resides in a bed, beside his father. Mikhail looks at Grant with worrying eyes, as he holds his sons hand firmly. Mikhail looks at Liam, who too was worried and asked "They said that he's fine but its just that he needs some rest, thats all... I'm not sure if whether thats the case or not."

Curious, Liam asks "Mr Geminus, if I can, why were you acting so paranoid back at the house? It's just that... I've never seen you like that before for the years that I've known you."

Mikhail answers "I... I..." He appears to struggle to give Liam the answer but he eventually says it, "I kept something in that house... That was more important than anything that I had achieved." He signals Liam to come closer so that he could whisper.

Minutes later, Liam leaves the room, with Jason and Yuri waiting outside. Jason asks "How is he?"

Liam answers "He's going to be okay... Its just that he'll be out of action for a little while."

"Thats somewhat good news." Said Yuri "So now what do we do?"

Liam answers "We have to go to Mikhail's home..."

"But Zaza's people will be there." Said Yuri "And they won't hesitate to kill you."

"I know..." said Liam "But they were there for a reason and if we can act quickly, we may have an advantage."

Puzzled, Jason asks "What do you mean?"

Liam answers "I can't tell you... I promised Mikhail that I can't elaborate, not yet." Liam, Yuri and Jason walk back to the office discuss what they'll do next.

In Mikhail's home, the individuals are demolishing the house, appearing to look for something. The residents pay no attention at the individuals camoflaged themselves as construction workers.

"How long do we have to do this?" Said one of the individuals, appearing distressed.

"Not until we find what the boss is looking for." Answered another individual, "The quicker we find it, the quicker we can get back to Londinium."

The boss appears and shouts at the two individuals, saying "Oi you two! Enough squabbling and more searching, come on lets move it!!"
