There, the dark sky enveloped every corner of the magnificent cities. Terra Nova, a city of leading-edge technology, stood as a symbol of human civilization. By the year 3125, Earth had reached the pinnacle of technological advancement. Life was saturated with cutting-edge tech and AI, which aided nearly every aspect of daily life.
However, that peace didn’t last long. Society began to divide into two factions: the Neo-Pure, those who sought to preserve the essence of natural humanity, and the Synth-Merge, a group advocating for complete integration of humans with technology.
Life seemed to carry on as usual. People were busy with their daily activities, oblivious to the monumental change looming ahead—a change that would shake the foundations of their existence.
That night, the beautiful night sky was adorned with brightly shining stars, painting the darkness with their eternal glow. Beneath the tranquil heavens, holographic advertisements lit up every corner of the towering skyscrapers. These buildings stood grand and tall, their holographic lights reflecting across the entire city.
Amid the bustle of Terra Nova, electric vehicles zipped through the streets, filling every roadway. The city, a hub of Augmented Reality technology, was a futuristic place that never slept, even at night.
In another part of the city, a young man named Haruka Rhyne sat in his room, gazing at the stars above. Haruka was an unassuming young man who lived with Kael Serion, the only “family” he had. Kael wasn’t human but an intelligent AI assistant gifted to him by his father, Professor Satsuki Rhyne, when Haruka was just five years old.
Haruka’s life had changed drastically at the age of seven when his parents died in a tragic accident in the city of NeonaraTopia. From that moment, he grew up in solitude, accompanied by the loyal Kael.
That night, Haruka gazed at the star-filled sky, lost in thought about his life.“What am I supposed to do? What kind of life awaits me? Can I handle it all?” he pondered silently.
Fatigue began to take over. He slowly closed his eyes and eventually drifted into a deep sleep. The hum of AeroNova vehicles gliding freely in the air replaced the chirping of birds in the night.
Little did Haruka know, that night marked the beginning of everything—the start of a great storm that would change the world. A storm that would be both the beginning and the end of life on Earth.
