Tohru

I go (^u^). We walk in, and Tohru freezes. I see unmistakable lust in her eyes. She turns red and reaches down. "Don't you dare, Tohru!" Koba yells. Tohru nearly falls backward, and I laugh.

"I'd assume that you're the new guy?"

"Yep, that would be me. I'm going to assume there's an orientation?"

"Yes."

Koba leaves. "Follow me."

I follow her down a long hallway. Eventually, we stop in front of a door with a plaque reading O-10. "O-10?"

"Orientation ten."

We walk in. "It's a theater…"

"Exactly, but for orientation use only."

She hits a button on the wall. The lights dim. The projector turns on. "So tell me how much you know."

"I know that all anime characters exist, and that, in this form, I can touch things and be heard, and that senpai can still see me. That I'm gonna be a girl. That I'm the first guy in centuries. And that, supposedly, I'm a demon. And, as I've experienced myself, the powers I had in life are enhanced, and still further enhanced by the addition of powers that build upon them. I'm talking about telekinesis and telepathy respectively. Oh, and that I get wings."

She laughs. "This is all true."

"Also, I noticed that a second Mina Ashido was running around."

"Our other male. Females appear as themselves up here in whatever form they take. So, themselves, but they may be demi-human, and they may have wings. Males appear as a form of their choice. They usually opt to be female up here, because otherwise, as history has proven, the girls will try to, um…rape them."

"Ah…I see."

"I'm going to grab a drink for you. Be right back."

She wanders off, so I walk up to the front and sit down. She comes back with a bottle. "What is it?" I ask.

"A drink that's supposed to prepare you for resolidification."

"Resolution sounds way better."

Her eyes widen and she hugs me. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"For… what, exactly?"

"Sora told me to come up with a new name, but I've had Writer's Block."

She sits down and gives me the bottle. I chug it. "This is really good!"

"What's it taste like?"

"Vanilla root beer, but…thicker."

He doesn't suspect a thing!

I look at Tohru to confirm she hadn't said anything. She’s fidgeting. "WHAT!?" I yell.

"Wait…you heard my thoughts?"

"If you had paid attention, I told you that I had gained telepathy." She blanches.

At least he didn't ask what I did.

"What did you do…?"

Damn, he's good…that is an amazing primary quirk! Out loud, she says, "I, um…may have…" She blushes. "Kinda, sorta…spiked your…drink. It’s just root beer. There is no pre-resolution drink."

"With what?" My tone is firm and semi-pissed.

I try to come up with things that would explain the thickness. I must look pissed because Tohru thinks, OH SHIT! He's gonna force choke me!

I laugh. "It's not like the force unless I channel it like that."

She freezes, and I realize that my powers have activated. I rise up a little. Oh…my pentagram is showing.

So not only is he a demon, but he's literal fucking demon-spawn as well!

My vision goes red. "WHAT!?"

Oh shit…I think I may have just pissed him off. His pentagram is red!

I thought I had gotten you under control! I mentally yell at my anger.

It takes all my willpower to stop my other half from hurting her. "Fuck you! De sooth, naar shada!"
