Apollo Vs Everyone

Trains hover over pulsing tracks, stopping near the giant blossom tree. The city’s cold ocean is seen from the train station’s height. Magnetic brakes easily stop the train safely out onto city grounds. Joggers sprint up and down the massive stairs inside the station, surrounded with essence powered holograms.

As Apollo and Kel flew farther from the city lights, the night charged with blue essence. Apollo flung ahead with a swoosh, and Kel followed closely behind, stopping on a high rocky edge. He cut both his arms with a razor, and blood portals appeared from the ground.

Arrows split into vast groups. Apollo extended his arm, and a bow appeared under his bloody, wet hand. Pulling the bow back, three arrows materialized. Multiple arrows split up in blood red with blue essence surrounding them.

"Blood spray," Apollo shouted, releasing his line. The impact pushed Kel and the forest back. Apollo's shots reached for the distance, and more arrows gathered behind him. Was he aiming for wherever that energy came from? Were they really his enemies?

"What do you mean he could die, Sola?" Taro asked urgently.

“Sooner or later, if Pai can’t control his power with the holy ring, he’s gonna die from his own essence most likely.”

“Is there no other way to help him?” pleaded Taro.

"Yes, but it's off the planet, and he doesn't have time," Sola explained. Mr. Z looked into the side-view mirror, and a blue light flashed high up.

The light was Apollo's arrows flying at rapid speeds; one massive arrow closed in on the vehicle, but Sola put up a barrier, blocking the blast. The impact pushed every tire in, and Apollo's arrow exploded upon the shield, creaking it.

The force of the impact sent the car flying into the air, but Mr. Z quickly regained control, smashing on the gas pedal. The ground cracked under them, and they dropped down to the underworld. "What the hell, was that a giant arrow?" Taro exclaimed.

Mr. Z adjusted his rear mirror. More arrows rained from the sky, but Sola snapped her fingers, summoning stars of different sizes around the car. The stars shot out into the wave of arrows, creating a dazzling display of warfare in the sky.

Explosions illuminated the endless sky; stars and arrows battled in a fierce storm. An immense arrow broke through the explosion, falling toward the vehicle. Sola's little spirits latched onto the car just in time, giving it a massive boost. The oversized arrow made contact and melted inside the ground, causing explosions to level the ground from underneath. The boost even lifted the car up.

"My King, your family is having trouble. You will have to hurry if you want to be of any help," Danika warned. Blood uncovered a tiny piece of armor on Pai's hand, vaporizing upon the surface. "I trusted them all, still I needed to do my part… Taro wouldn't have let us go out like that," Pai said determinedly.

Two more behemoth arrows with hundreds following chased the vehicle. White light shone through the windows. Sola threw up more stars, but only some arrows were wiped out. Apollo's essence pulled up the surface, flying over them.

Taro hung out of the car, heating the door's surface. A bright dark beam erupted out of ghost trigger, turning all the arrows into smoke. Sola’s pupils reflect the dark energy.This power was just like from long ago, still feeling like yesterday. This was the ghost trigger from long ago.

“Damn, my arrows are being destroyed, so you won’t go out that easily.” Apollo smirked. Hundreds more rose out of the blood portals. One single arrow sucked up essence and blood from a portal above them. “I’ll really blow them away with this!”

Kel floated by him, pushing through his essence. “Hey, what the hell are you shooting at,” Kel shouted, fighting against the bloody essence.

“I’m coming after the person who killed my brother.” So that’s his target, still something seemed off about this. “I’m gonna end this fuck!” Hundreds more disappeared ahead.

Pai slashed at the wall of fire over and over again but received the impact back at him. Pai's eye was busted shut, and he was covered with cuts. Some wounds sparked little flames. "Fuck, fuck, come on, Pai. AHHH!"

“My King, death isn’t an option.” Danika floated to him.

Pai chuckles. “King? I’m not a fucking king. I’m just—”

“Who are you?”

“I’m just...nobody," sighed Pai.

Danika shot through Pai's chest, entering the fresh wound. Pai gasped for air, hitting the floor. "Let me show you what's possible." Pai's left eye faded from pink to red. Danika appeared in a pink empty space.

“Home,” Danika sighed, floating around the pink realm aimlessly. I thought Pai would be with me, yet something else is…Why the hell would something else be here? EZZAHHHHHH! A solar flare shot out into the distance.

Danika flew in that direction, but she saw nothing. “Where the hell did that come from?” EZZAHHHHHH! A blitz of red solar flares shot out from under, passing her face.

Looking down, she saw a teensy red figure. Teleporting behind Danika, the red figure poured essence over her. "King?" EZZAHHHHHH! Danika froze from its presence, her essence shooting out from Pai. "There was no end to that power."

She turned to Pai, but he was already standing, swinging the feather-style sword. Every wound healed completely. "I don't know what you did, but I feel a hundred percent better. And you know what? I'm fine with being nobody."

“No you’re a king who will rule over everyone,” shouted the seeker.

Wearing half a smile, his hazel eyes dimmed evenly from the bizarre flames. “I don’t know how I feel about that; will that even be fun? Who knows? First, I’m getting us out of here.”

Arrows fell from heaven, landing right beside the car, barely missing them. Taro shot black beams into the sky, but they were not having any effect anymore. Damn, am I useless already?

Pai rushed the wall of flames, cutting them in two. Sparks and flames tried to chase after him, but he countered to the left. "I can see where it's coming from. I can't waste any more time here. They need me."

“Taro, listen this is your trump card because you're almost out of spirit energy,” tells Mr.Z, controlling the shaky steering wheel.

“What is it, Dad?"

Arrows pierced towards the car, still, Sola countered them. “Whatever you’re gonna do, hurry up. I’m in need of assistance here.” One of Sola’s star spirits stayed behind, forming into a larger size. It grew so massive that the gods could probably see it.

“This will only last for ten seconds!” Her little star charged up, boosting the car faster. Pai struck the wall of flames from the left, leaving a slash in the flames. “Taro, you gotta combine the rest of your spirit energy into the pistol.”

Like a black hole, ghost trigger absorbed all of Taro's spirit energy inside. His eyes faded to a normal aiming ghost trigger. “Wait, don’t shoot. I feel something bigger coming.”

“No shit! Those right behind us. Come on, let me take the shot!”

“No, Not those,” warns the star caster. Apollo’s gigantic arrow erased the powder cotton candy clouds; blood fell behind it.

Apollo’s god sized sapphire arrow is the biggest yet. With many arrows inside the nuke, Sola’s heavyweight star shoots towards their doomsday. Wrapping both hands together, gold essence pours out.

“Star hole,” yelled Sola.

The thundering star expanded, consuming the arrow whole. It decreased in size little by little along with Apollo's arrow, yet it creaked through some. "Damn, I can't hold it any longer!" The colossal arrow breaks through. “Taro, now shoot!”

Taro pointed to their incoming doom. This energy felt like there was empty space in me. Was this the spirit realm? It was like a long-lost dream. Did I really go there with Mom at one point? God, he wished he could remember.

Firing ghost trigger, white beams with a black sharp edge prowled on contact. Black sparks flew against it, the beam slowly piercing into the tough arrow. Taro's eyes opened with black smoke out of his pupils.

“Ghost out!”

Leaving black smoke between the arrow, it’s split in two. The back piece fell onto the ground, leveling the area, leaving nothing left. Sola's little star spirits boost, lifting the car into the sky; however, the front part of the arrow, still enclosed from behind.

“Dammit, I couldn’t take everything out,” said Taro.

Pai flew to the flames. "This is do or die. Come on, My King!" Pai's scream waved the flames as he slashed through them from top to bottom.

Every flame disappeared inside Pai's blade. Mr. Z, Taro, and Sola's doom were ten feet behind them, melting the license plate. Taro gasped for air, losing his vision from stressing too much spirit energy.

Sola used the rest of her essence to boost the car. “Fuck, this is all I can do. Pai, wake up, we need you,” whispered the princess. Her star spirit finally lost essence. Teleporting off Sola's lap, raging red essence brightened their doubts.

Pai’s sword shined like the last sun in the universe. Pai struck Apollo’s arrow point blank with the feather-style sword. Hot essence separated them past doom, sending it back to the rest of his pack; flames covered it, igniting from the atmosphere, leaving nothing behind.

Teleporting back inside, his sought marking glowing the interior. His father and brother turned around from the front seats, as Sola glared at his new found sought mark. “What’s up, guys? I’m back, anything new?” Pai smiled.
