In the room that used to be filled with Makori's parent's weapon
"You two find anything?" Asked Makori.
"Nope", said both Fillian and Linda simultaneously.
Dang! Makori thought I didn't know what my parents were hiding here. There is no way they didn't. I mean if this was built, I should've known it. They always showed me their final product to me. This is suspicious as hell.

They continued searching until Makori slammed the wall with his left hand, frustrated. He put his right hand on his face and said, "WHY! Why did they make this? It is almost like they want me to search for this, like how they made those ARGs when I was a kid, like treasure hunting. Uhh..."
Fillian came near Makori patted his right shoulder and said, "Calm down, Macky. Let's search it one more time."
Makori shoved Fillian's hand and replied, "How could I calm down? I just found out that my parents have apparently been keeping secrets, God knows how many, from me, and they never told me before they died. They always show me the result when they're finished building it. It feels odd when they didn't. They did it on purpose and I knew it."

Both Fillian and Linda glanced at each other, and then Linda said, "I want to scan this place now. This is my reason to join you anyway."
Makori still looked away from them and said, "Yeah, sure. Go ahead."

After Makori answered Linda, she changed into a scanner machine and shot a wave of scanner waves. Upon shooting the first wave, Linda was surprised, "Wow there!"
Makori and Fillian looked at Linda and Makori asked, "What is it?"
"That wall is hollow and the wave traveled back to me with a loud noise."
"Huh?" Makori excitedly ran into the wall and smashed it, but failed due to the wall being thick. "Awww, why did I just punch through a thick wall? I'm an idiot."
Makori, Fillian, and Linda exchanged laughter for a moment, then they dug the wall 

"This wall is so thick. Makori, do you know how thick of a wall your parents' usually built for their construction?" asked Linda.
"Ayo, gurl! Why you ask it like that?" said Fillian.
"It's about 30 to 50 centimeters thick, or 12 to 19 inches thick", Makori answered casually.
Fillian in the middle was in deep thought, why did I have to hear this convo? 

After about 2 minutes of digging, they finally opened a hole in the wall. Makori entered the hole first then the others joined. Inside the hole, there is another room but a smaller one. It's about 10 m³ in size and the rooms didn't have anything except a table and a note.

"Hmm... Very odd room", Fillian commented on the room's looks.
"Indeed", Linda agreed with Fillian's statement.
While the girls were exchanging thoughts, Makori was already in front of the table and he grabbed the note.

Makori read it out loud, it said;
Dear Makori,
We are so proud of you! You've finally found the seventh and last note to our little scavenger hunt. We hope you use all of the knowledge you have gathered throughout your hunt from start to finish and be a good inventor like us one day. Now, remember the key that we use as a reward for the fourth clue? That's the key to your birthday present back at the lab where you started this hunt. Hope you like what we give you. Happy Birthday, son!
Yours truly, parents.

After Makori finished his reading, he tore down and kneeled. He let out an ugly cry and said, "They still... they're still kind to me... even when they're dead. I'm such a pathetic child..."
Fillian and Linda walked to Makori and hugged him from the back. And he continued to talk, "I should've not... I should let them go... I'm a foul kid... I should've not been born. I only cause chaos upon the world."
Fillian and Linda were speechless and couldn't do anything but hug him.

Two minutes passed and they got interrupted by a call from Makori's pocket. Since Makori has not yet recovered from sadness, Fillian took the phone inside Makori's lab's pocket and answered the call, "Yo, this is Fillian speaking... What? The Center Hall is under attack?! Okay, we are on our way."

Upon hearing that, Makori immediately changed his mood and said, "There is no time to waste. We need to go back."

Back at the Center Hall before the call happened
"Get ready! They will come in any minute now", shouted Collen.
Then he talked to Hailey, "Have you dialed Gerald or Taki yet?"
"I'm working on it!"

As Hailey dialed the phone, the door to the elevator opened and everyone was shocked to see no one inside.
Collen said, "Don't be deceived. It might be the variant 7 or 8 robots that got in. Suit up and prepare for impact. Keep on the lookout for every angle possible. We stick together until the end."

After Collen said that, he bravely walked near the elevator. But before he even half of the way there, Helen screamed, "Mister! Don't!"
Hailey, who was near her, squatted to be level with her daughter and said, "What is it, sweety? Is there something wrong?"
Helen explained, "That elevator! That thing emits a red light!"
Everyone jumped back a meter and became much more cautious.

"Then might as well throw a grenade there", said one of the survivors.
"Wait! Don't!" Ordered Collen to that person but it was too late he threw it and exploded inside the elevator.
To everyone's surprise, the elevator began to wobble and gained movement.

"Everyone finds its weakness, we now know what variant this is!" Collen exclaimed.
They all scattered around the place and surrounded the elevator to search for an engine. Meanwhile, Hailey and Helen tried their best to work on the old phone they had never used.

When the phone was connected to Gerald, the robot that took control of the elevator turned to Hailey and charged a laser shot.
"Mom!" Helen shouted and Hailey dodged at a perfect time.
"We need to move around if we want to survive!" exclaimed Hailey while starting to run with Helen.

"What's going on?" Gerald's voice was heard through the phone.
Hailey said, "The Center Hall is under attack. Send help!" Unfortunately, the device was missing its component, which would have allowed her to send her voice to Gerald. The laser shot it, and it was not functioning anymore.
"Hello?" Gerald tried to reach Hailey once again.
"Ugh! What happens? Why can't he listen to me?"
Helen reached out to her mom while running beside said, "Mom, let me try."

"Hellooo? This is not the time to be playing a prank, Collen. We are in a serious situation here. I'm going to hang up if you're not going to speak..." Gerald stopped his talk and suddenly heard Helen's voice.
"Huh? Under attack? Ok, kid, we will be there. We'll be on our way."
The phone stopped receiving any feedback and Hailey was impressed, "Oh my, sweety. That was amazing! How did you do that?"
Helen didn't respond instead she lost balance and almost collapsed. Hailey caught on just in time and stopped her run.

In a split second the robot shot its laser again at Hailey and Helen, Collen caught that in a glimpse and screamed, "Hailey! Watch out!"
Hailey dodged it again but because she was currently holding on to her daughter, she got shot and her left arm got a little burn.
Collen shot another canon toward the laser gun of the robot to prevent another shot and he ran toward Hailey.

"Hey, you okay?" Collen grabbed Helen and tried to help Hailey so she could rest ease.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Just help my daughter, I'm going to be fine on my own."
Collen lifted Helen and used a bridal carry to carry her to safety. Meanwhile, Hailey grabbed Collen's canon launcher to continue Collen's duty.
"You bastard tried to kill me, huh? It's payback time!"
