Chapter 6:

Chapter 6: Onwards to a Kingdom

The boy and the unmovable clock

"You are not the same person you were before, my love; to live with this role is to change yourself again."

I continued to walk on the grass while observing the long brown trees that surrounded me, each with green and occasionally red leaves blossoming inside; it was a really harmonic sight, made all the more beautiful. The warm, refreshing air, the loud chattering of the birds, the cozy atmosphere of nature itself, and finally, the warm, bright sunshine shining down on me all made my world a little brighter despite the lack of sunshine. I paused my stroll for a while and just took it all in.

of it, with me trapped in a never-ending blackness and eventually seeing no glimmer of light or life at all, I proceeded to a kingdom.

…………………………………….

To begin with, the most effective method for locating a kingdom is to look for a pattern among its constituent parts. I heard from Aki that the motif for the Earth Kingdom will undoubtedly be the color or possibly the shape of the trees. Where is he, I wonder, just a few days before all this? Anyway, I have to move quickly, or else I might find myself in a worse predicament than I was in the past.

It was not enjoyable to sleep in such unending darkness, but I will just have to keep moving on in the direction of the Earth kingdom.

what Aki taught me. Where is he, I wonder, just a few days before all this? Anyway, I have to move quickly, or else I might find myself in a worse predicament than I was in the past.

It was not enjoyable to sleep in such unending darkness, but I will just have to keep moving on in the direction of the Earth kingdom.

a huge, naturally abundant kingdom where people dwell in harmony and prosperity with an endless supply of food, drink, and warmth, never running out of supplies, and constantly managing to prosper in spite of conflict or even starvation,

which, thanks to the princess's unwavering efforts to kill, defeat, burn, and destroy all evidence of her enemies, was essentially a kind of heaven that was always peaceful and never engaged in conflict, had an endless supply of food and water to prevent the people from dying, and had a warm and secure home. Peace and prosperity, however, can only last so long before they are all reduced to dust.

Alongside him, Ariel continued to go forward, looking for some sort of pattern in the overflowing nature. It was somehow incredibly healing to go through the woods like that; the idea of taking in nature in its most exquisite form is the most wonderful thing ever.

additional tree branches, plants, and plain pebbles covered the ground; vines extended as far as the eye could see, entangling numerous additional homes, including ones with only the uppermost layer of wood and others that were also entangled with branches.

"Even though it is nearly midday, it feels like it just hit the morning," Ariel remarked as he entered and marveled at the lovely sights of the happy people going about their daily lives, purchasing supplies and conducting business everywhere, without a concern in the world. Despite his confusion, Ariel was in awe of something that is incredibly beautiful for being in the dark.

for so long; discovering some kind of light brought him unfathomable joy, and he savored every moment of it as he absorbed it all.

Finding it difficult to find a place to sleep, he settled down on one of the wooden benches as the sun began to set. After spending his time exploring other shops, nightfall has already arrived, making it even harder for him to find a place to sleep. As a result, he is broke, and money functions differently in every country.

So that was another issue; Ariel searched everywhere and, to his astonishment, found that he could hardly keep his eyes open for very long. He kept growing more and more exhausted as a result of his excessive excitement and slow, deliberate walking until he was scarcely able to keep his eyes open.

Whether to make it large, to seek protection from war itself, or just to live a peaceful life without any worries at all, he passed asleep on the wooden seat without anyone here knowing. or perhaps as traders attempting to earn money along the way in the hopes of eventually leading a more relaxed life and avoiding trouble. Everyone arrived here for a reason, and they all lived their lives accordingly.

And after a while, he awoke in a warm and cozy house. Ariel briefly believed that all of the events were dreams. When the door to the chamber where he woke up opened, a guy with eyes as silver as the clouds and hair as green as vegetation entered, and he shook in fright. "Ah, you are awake at last," he remarked, smiling quite softly. I prepared some bread using jam and well-cooked eggs. Hurry down.

He motioned for Ariel to approach, and even though Ariel had some questions, he followed the man downstairs. What he saw was exactly what he had described: milk bread with eggs on top, along with other breads that had jam, butter, honey, and fruits like bananas, strawberries, and grapes.

It is accompanied by slices of apple and some delectable French toast.

Enough to feed two mouths instead of one, Ariel was once again left speechless and perplexed by this sight; he could not comprehend how quickly all of this could have been produced by one person. Even though he had no idea why he had been saved, he knew that the one thing for which he should be thankful was that the mysterious man had given him a place to live and delicious food to eat. For that alone, he would always be grateful to him.

Ariel was immediately distracted by the delicious and warm food and neglected to ask the man seated across from him. With Ariel's assistance, he cleaned the table, and after nearly an hour of cleaning and washing the last of the wooden plates, Ariel finally had the opportunity to ask the enigmatic man some questions about his circumstances and kingdom.
