Chapter 19

It was then all over the news, after the incident: the news about the US president being part of the black order, the news about the black order, and the kidnapping of mutants and other people.

"Good day to you all viewers! This is grace feel, and your watching CNN news! Today, I will be interviewing johnny storm again, after a long time." Grace said

They were both now in another room, where grace and john was now sitting at a close distance.

"Good day to all of you." John said as he waived at the camera

"So, just what can you tell us now about what just happened in alaska? From the very beginning please." Grace said

"Alright." John said before explaining all that happened

"Wow, the fight must have been tough." Grace said

"Yes, it was really tough, and I was also suppose to head back to my country back then when there was a sudden call! Hahh.. I was so tired when everything was over, that I finally slept at the hospital." John said with a smile

"Can so relate! If it were me, I would have done the same." Grace said

"Thanks. If my power wasnt lightning, I would have lost in that fight." John said

"So back to the topic, what do you know about the black order?" Grace said

"One thing I did know is that their founders like the name." John said with a smile

"Haha, I dont know if you should be happy avout that, since it left some complicated feelings with me." Grace said

"Yeah. But aside from that, the first lady only said that she doesnt know anything else aside from their existence, so I just reprogrammed the president to only say the truth." John said

"I see. So what did he say?" Grace

"He said that the black order has its roots very deep in all of society, from manufacturing to the government. Though they dont quite interfere with majority of world affairs, as they only sit on the sidelines and collect money. Or else there would be complications with that company or country. President joel even did say the location of some facilities that might interest me, if ever my sister were there." John said

"Whoa. I bet hes now feeling sorry for everything that he did." Grace said

"Probably not. Not yet anyways. Remember, pride is the most powerful sin of all, since you cant even detect if you have ever used it.' john said

"Wise words from mr storm." Grace said with an applause. "And what happened to the facility now?"

"The pentagon said that they will confiscate everything in the facility, and use it as evidence against the black order." John said

"Just what are the things inside that facility? And what happened to the dead people there?" Grace said

"I didnt do a proper funeral for them, so they are now probably food for the wolves. And from what I saw, there are probably some equipment inside like the mind transfer device and many more. Like clones and stuff." John said

"Clones?! Are you sure?!" Grace said

"Yes, since the one who had mind control powers brought them all out of hiding, in order for them to somewhat kill me." John said

"And what of this mind transfer device? Do you know anything about it?" Grace said

"The mind transfer device is possible. Since for that to happen, you just need to transfer all the energy inside brain 1 to brain 2. But that alone would create some kind of conflict, since the question remains, if ever we have a soul or is it just the brain. Although that may be the case, the matter of the soul is very real." John said

"Can you explain further?" Grace said

"I have confirmed this due to both my personal experience and due to the upgrade on the powers of some mutants that I had just trained. Cause you know, that no matter how much blood you get from me and other mutants, you wont be able to get the right DNA sequence. As the sequence is just rearranged by the brain, where the brain itself is the key to all, and even with evolution. Meaning to say, that the soul is inside the brain and not just with the body. So when the mind is transferred, the potential of brain 1 will be added to brain 2." John said

"So meaning to say, that those without powers can suddenly have powers once they do brain transfer?" Grace said

"There is a big possibility for it, since two brains would be fused together into one body, even though brain 2 would have a negative reaction at first. Although, that may be the case, human experimentation is definitely against human rights." John said

"Yes, you are right." Grace said

"But all humans normally have the potential to level up, it just has a 30-40% chance of success. And 1% chance of getting a very powerful ability." John said

"I see. So that is why you would always touch the forehead, and not just anywhere." Grace said

"Yes, miss grace." John said with a smile

"According to our records, those dead mutants found in that facility all had ordinary abilities except for one." Grace said

"Yes, the mind reader or telepath. But as he was captured and his former personality no more, and his soul combined with sam milsby, which is why we now have the mind control ability." John said

"Though that might be the case, there must still be the personality of the former owner inside right?" Grace said

"Probably, though the chances of the former personality coming back is slim, since the souls of two people has fused in one body after all. So there is no telling what will happen to those souls except that it might reborn as a new person or not." John said

"Then why did you kill them?" Grace said

"Cause the evil inside the black order is maybe just too much, that the soul of the former was overtaken. Thus, in order to free the souls of those unfortunate, I had no choice but to kill them." John said

"I see. And so ends our interview for the day. Thank you very much mr johnny storm for coming." Grace said as she reached out for a hand shake

"Its my pleasure." John said as he shook her hand

After that, john then left the TV station and rode a private vehicle with some security, towards one of the best hospitals in washington. Where she also just woke up.

"Jasmin, im back!" John said as he opened the hospital door

"Bro! Thanks a lot for saving me back there! Dad told me some of the details." Jasmin said as john tends to the sleeping mother, who was sleeping while sitting beside jasmin

"No problem. We are family after all. Would you like the full details of the event?" John said before he got a chair to sit beside her

"No, im good. Just watched your interview." Jasmin said

"I see. So where is dad?" John said

"Off to buy some pain killers and food." Jasmin said

"So his arm hasnt healed yet. Darn that former president joel." John said

"No worries bro, its all part of the job, I think. Gladly, the new US president came to apologize personally." Jasmin said

"Yes, that is good indeed." John said

"So, what will you do now?" Jasmin said

"Same as usual, take missions, make more mutants, and many more." John said

"Are you sure its wise to make more mutants bro?" Jasmin said

"Nope, I now have my doubts. But I have faith that everything will be good somehow." Johns said with a smile
