Chapter 18

John was now flying towards alaska, where he pieced together the pieces of information from their confession. Where hes now heading towards a facility in the outskirts of alaska believed to have some mutants confined, and it is really cold and now early in the morning.

"Jasmin, be ok. Hold on for a few more seconds." John said, praying for her safety

There outside the facility, there were many people in their coats, all doing their rounds of security around the area. Where the facility was also an old thermal factory. And with confidence, john descended at the front gate, where his barrier was able to reflect some very powerful telepathy in a form of a spark. Which he also find a bit fishy.

"Drop your weapons and surrender yourselves!" John shouted towards the people doing security

But when he shouted, there was no response from them, only that they all pointed their guns at him with no life at all. And when john was about to speak, all of them spoke.

"Get lost johnny storm." All of them said in unison

"And why should I listen to you? Whoever you are." John said

"You should, cause I have your sister here with me." One of them said

"You should, if you still have your humanity left." Another one said

"You should, or else you will definitely regret it." Another one said

"No can do. I know your evil deeds black order, though I still dont know who you are." John said as he readies for battle

"Its truly a shame john. You could have been one of us." A voice said before he walked forward

"And why should I join you? When you guys are clearly the bad guys here." John said

"Maybe, but before you came, we were the gods of this world." The guy said as he stopped at a distance from john and revealed his face

"And you are?" John said, as he knew the face, but surprised to know that he isnt the person he knows

"I am the founder of IBM, jazz grizzly. Im surprised that you didnt flinch upon the face of your former comrad." Jazz said

"Oh, im surprised alright, though it cant beat my anger right now. If you guys want to live, surrender yourselves." John said angrily

"Just like you have something you want to protect, we have something to protect." Another voice came from behind

"We are the founders of the black order that you speak of. Good naming sense though." Another one said

"We are also here to avenge those you killed in afghanistan and in africa." A womans voice said

"Whatever the case, you are all going down." John said before he attacked with a wide range stun

As john attacked, the floor bended upwards to form a shield against it. Though the mindless people with guns wasnt safe from it.

"Dont even think you are still dealing with humans, john!" Jazz said as he lowered the floor

"What have you guys done?! What you are all doing is totally beyond human rights!" John said, both surprised and angry

"We ought to be the gods of the new age, not you john!" Jazz said as the others agree

"Just what is even your purpose? If you just transfer your minds over another body?" John said

"Aside from gaining a young body, and a body of our liking, isnt it only fair that we could fight you on equal ground john?" One of them said

"Well, there are also other reasons, but you get our point john. Like we will tell you what you need to hear." Jazz said

"Then, prepare yourselves. I will set the souls of those bodies you have possessed, free from suffering and from you." John said as they all prepare for battle once more

Then with the drop of snow from a tree nearby, john started the fight with lightning speed, where one with super speed blocked his attacks. He then launched some long range attacks at them, to only be blocked by snow and metal. The others then launched their attacks, beginning with launching rocks towards john, where he dodged with lightning speed. There were also arrows and metal launched towards john, where he barely was able to dodge the arrows due to their lucky accuracy. And there is also a gravitational anomaly around the area, where the area becomes really heavy, but it doesnt affect john due to his lightning speed. John was also able to land a few hits with some high voltage lightning, but it didnt kill any of them yet, due to their powered up powers.

"Last time you trained these guys, their powers werent match for you. But now, look at you just running around! Hilarious!" Jazz said as he launched attacks

"Enough!!" John shouted as he was pissed, and finally does a wide range high voltage lightning attack, where it killed all living things around a certain radius.

But then, the weather suddenly turned to worse, as a blizzard suddenly fell.

"Come out now! Whoever you are! Controlling my sister like shes your puppet!" John shouted

"Whew.. good thing we were inside the building, or else I would have been fried as well." A voice said after a person appeared from the doors to the facility

"Just who are you? And what have you done to my sister?" John said angrily

"The name is sam milsby, the CEO of signsign inc, the one company you shouldnt have messed with." Sam said, as he appeared along with a mind controlled jasmin and some naked people

"The one you shouldnt have messed with was me, not you." John said before he ran at lightning speed

In that instant, lightning also feel from the sky, which john also dodged those. Before he ran towards behind sam, where jasmin cant reach, and striked lightning at close range.

"But how?!" Sam said as he was vomiting blood while standing

"My power is lightning remember?" John said as he saw sam now on his knees

"This is revenge.. for what you.. have done.. to me!!" Sam said before he let jasmin strike lightning towards john

As johns power is also lightning, he was also unaffected by the attack. All before sam finally dies and on the ground, where jasmin also fell to the ground.

"Jasmin!" John shouted as he used lightning speed to go to her and helf her in his arms

As he checked her pulse, he was relieved as it was still there. And at the same time, the weather suddenly cleared, as the afternoon sun shone on them. After that, he carried her and flew towards a hospital in the nearest city in alaska.
