"My queen, it is done."

"Good. Now all that stands in our way are no longer a threat to us. Since we have all the power we need." Said arach rep

"Humans do have interesting ideas sometimes." Said frogger rep

"This time, its the humans turn to be hunted down." Said reptilian rep while the fishmen rep was all quiet

They were at the council when the report was made, where all thats left were the arachs, reptilians, fishmen, and frogger. Meanwhile, back on earth.

"So john, tell us the current situation right now, before I authorize an emergency meeting." Dueta said on his chair at the malacanang

John was now reporting to dueta on what had happened during the aliens visit with him, where he called for an emergency meeting of all world leaders.

"I swear, I didnt do anything to him! We were just talking one minute, the next, he was shot by a sniper! And using a laser gun! Maybe knowing that it can penetrate my low voltage barrier!" John said, after explaining to dueta what just happened

"Calm down john, I know you are not at fault here. Mostly cause you have no motive in killing sir aramak." Dueta said

"And now, we are having some avian and octoguy refugees all over the nation. Just what exactly is happening here?" John said

"Most likely, there had been a coup de tat. The situation is indeed very dire." Dueta said

"I know right? And according to the data sent to us by the council, the council is decided by rank on who will lead it by: military strength, number of people a race can make, and their knowledge of things. Also, 2nd in line to be the leader are the arach." John said

"Yes. No matter how one looks at it, humanity doesnt even have a chance at this rate." Dueta said

"We do have one, since there are octoguys and avians who are seeking refuge here in this planet. Although thats not all of them, judging by the current flow of events, I have been placed as their leader for now." John said while rubbing his temple

"Oh yeah, so thats why you had 2 octoguy guards with you. Alright then, I will authorize the meeting. Give me at least 3 days to tell--" dueta said before he was cut off

"We dont have 3 days president dueta! I know that next month may finally be elections, and you will retire from politics, but--" john said, worried

"Dont worry john. I will definitely tell every world leader whats going on right now. For now, you must do what must be done." Dueta said

"And what is that?" John said

"You are now given the role as the wise sage right? You must now select a leader for the octoguys. And also find out who will lead the avians now." Dueta said

"Hahh.. alright then, I will try." John said as he stood with resolution

With that, he travelled towards the pacific ocean, where all the octoguys were staying. And presented the badge to the octoguys, which he then calls for a meeting.

"I know this might be sudden, but I have been chosen as the wise sage by aramak. As per your custom, I will choose one of you as your leader." John said to the crowd, which had some complex thoughts on the situation. "Im sure you are all somewhat confused, but im here to help."

"Then help us by not helping." An octoguy said

"The situation is more dire than it seems people, cause I think that if arachs will now be leader of the council, all of us would have no choice but to die or become slaves! Eitherway, we are all doomed!" John said as that octoguy stayed quiet

"Sir johnny storm, may I speak?" An octoguy guard said before john agrees. "As sir aramak is one of very old, we forgot how to select leader."

"I see. If thats the case, then those who are confident that they should be leader must come to me by tomorrow. I will test you." John said with a smile before signalling the guards to go back to the philippines

When tomorrow came, a lot of octoguys came, all confident that they can be leader, towards the training grounds in the facility. John and the girls were now on stage, while the avians were also there to watch.

"Welcome octoguys! To the test which will determine your leader. Today, I have prepared a really hard one for you guys, as the test will be a triathalon!" John said

"Sir, what is a triathalon?" The guard said beside him, as the octoguys were confused

"Oh, right." John said before facing the crowd again. "A triathalon is a 3 way race which will determine about many aspects of a leader! And best suited for your race! The whole oro city will be your ground! And who ever gets back here first wins!" He said as the octoguys were now listening

"So that you wont be confused where to go, the local police have set up a route for all of you. First off, you all will run from the start towards point 1, where you will go to the ocean and dive to get a white plastic box." Frey said

"There you will receive something and some instructions on what to do next. Please do open the boxes on the surface, so that the insides wont get wet." Claire said

"Including where point 2 is! Of course, there will be some humans who will hand towels for all of you to wipe the water from the ocean." Alex said

"Then after point 2, you will go towards point 3 to deliver what was instructed on the white box. Of course point 3 is also there on the instructions." Aya said

"After point 3, you guys will race back towards here! And determine the winner once and for all!" Silk said with excitement

"Did you guys understand the whole race so far? And please no fighting during the race, or else you will be disqualified." Beth said as no one has any complaints

"Alright, start!" Silk shouted with excitement, all before the octoguys now ran off

From the starting line, the octoguys then ran a long run towards the ocean, where the distance between the facility towards the port of oro city is like 15km. Where john, the girls, and the avians also flew to watch the race. Then as they finally got woards the ocean and dive, they searched all over for the 15 white boxes which were hidden all at random points, and which the white boxes were tied to a rock by a rope. As each contestant opened the box on the surface, they received some money and a paper on a plastic containing instructions on what to buy at the nearest mall. As the contestants wasnt familiar with the place, right after they wiped the water on them, they asked the locals where the mall is. And inside the mall, they were instructed to buy some of any food for cooking, but also right according with the money received. After that, the contestants goes to the slums to give the food to the poor, as part of the instructions. And it was after that that the remaining contestants ran back towards the facility, where a winner was then decided after he crossed the finish line.

"Do you have a name octoguy?" John said, after the octoguys drank and spread water on their head

"Hormus is my name." He said

Hormus was as tall as aramak, and of the same build, but not the same face and clothes pattern.

"Hormus, what do you think is the purpose of this race?" John said

"Uhh.. isnt it just to determine who will be the next leader?" Hormus said

"Nope. Think avout the real meaning of the race, and why the race was designed like that." John said

"Uhh.. we dive in the ocean to find the instructions, which was very hard to find. So it was to measure their patience and smarts. We go to building to get food for cooking in exchange for the paper you gave us. Which measure patience and smarts, patience most of all, cause of long line. We go to other starving humans in a place to give the food we buy, which was also hard to get out cause of the humans surrounding us. Which measure patience, mobility, and smarts to get out of there without any fighting. Then last is to run back here." Hormus said

"Good answer so far, but still lacking. You got the first and second one right, the last one was lacking. Not only patience, but also your ability to treat other species. Cause if you fought with those people, they will really fight back." Beth said, as everyone understood.

"Congratulations hormus, for being the new leader of your kind." John said, before he gave the stone which was given by aramak

"The stone of leaders!" Hormus said, all octoguys open eyed. "Thank you oh wise sage." He said as he kneeled in respect

With that, the octoguys all kneeled towards john, in response with hormus.

"Gosh, this is so embarrassing." John said, scratching his head, before john touched the octoguys shoulder for him to stand

"I may now be leader, but you will be my counsel when it comes to major decisions." Hormus said

"Got it." John said before he faced the avians. "So, how will you guys select your leader?"

"No worries johnny storm, we have already a leader among us. The name is pixie." A female avian said

"So you are the new leader pixie, what is your story?" John said

"I am the wife of the previous leader. Though our son would be the next leader in this case, hes now in our planet." Pixie said

"My apologies for your loss. Though are you up to the task of being leader if need be?" John said seriously

"Yes, we all believe so." The avians said before pixie could say anything

"Thats good enough. As we cant go back to the council cause the others betrayed your leaders, what are your plans now?" John said

"We stand and fight." Hormus said as both octoguys and avians agree

"As the odds are against this time, we must gather more forces to battle against the current council." John said

"But how? There is not enough time for--" pixie said before she was cut off

"We wont be doing what you think, we will be going to other planets to gather more forces." John said with a smile
