Chapter 51

"Done with sending my captains journal to the world leaders, now what do we do?" Yelena said

They were still at the captains cabin, where they just finished brainstorming and making an excuse for the captains journal.

"Was that alright bro? Our excuse that when the aliens were about to launch a new weapon straight at you and the girls, you reprogrammed the weapon to implode on itself, and causing the planet to suck on the surrounding planets and battleships." Jasmin said

"And that we narrowly escaped being sucked in. So yeah, its alright for now." John said as yelena agrees

"Alright, now thats done, what do we do next?" Yelena said

"We go by ourselves to planet urd, I think that captain troy would be thinking the same and proceeded there already." John said

"And what about this whole mess that you made? What do we do about it?" Yelena said seriously

"Uhh.. I really cant do anything else about that planet, since things have already gone to a path of no return. Im just glad everyone was alright, and my decision to have the ship at a far enough distance was correct." John said

"Hahh.. fine. But never do that again alright? We were all seriously worried about you guys!" Yelena said as jasmin agreed

"One moment, all of us were joyful. Then when you guys came in like that, we literally had no idea what to do." Jasmin said

"Please dont tell mom and dad what happened to me, and just say I was just very tired from power overuse." John said to jasmin

"Yeah, I wont. Mom would certainly freak out on what really happened to you guys." Jasmin said

"And who else knows about your big secret?" Yelena said

"Just mom, dad, and jasmin here. And what about the crew?" John said

"They said they would not tell anyone about what just happened. They are all just happy that the arach threat is no more." Yelena said

"Thats good. So we should all now go to the bridge and go towards planet urd." John said as he stood

"Alright then." Yelena said as they now stood

As they now went to the bridge, where hormus was also waiting for them, before there was an awkward atmosphere around the bridge. It was also then that yelena explained about what they discussed had happened, only never to tell the exact truth of johns big secret.

"If thats how it is, then it cant be helped. At least the menace is now gone for good." Thats what the crew says where others just agreed

"Alright, lets now go to planet urd to commence rescue operations." Yelensa said in her seat

"Setting coordinates through AI star mapping"

"Coordinates confirmed, planet urd, orion constellation."

"Prepare to warp! And wake the patients up!" Yelena said before hormus calls for john privately

"Whats the matter hormus?" John said just right outside the bridge

"I know the captain is lying. After what I have seen with my own eyes, I thought that it can only be a godly act. Since as far as I know, the arachs dont have the tech to do all that yet." Hormus said

"Its suppose to be a big secret though. And I fear that if you knew, it would change the way you might see us." John said

"So that all you were worried about? After all that we have been through.." hormus said before he thought of everything. "Maybe you are right. Though can you at least let me know? I promise I wont tell a soul."

"I heard that octoguys dont break promises, is that true?" John said

"Yes. Our culture might be a bit similar to your japanese culture, in terms of keeping promises." Hormus said

"You mean about seppuku? Thats quite old, and not practiced anymore. Though if its about keeping ones honor, then I might understand." John said

"Yes, its about keeping ones honor. If I cant keep even one promise, then how can I even say that I fight with honor?" Hormus said

"Hmm.. alright, I will trust you. Though I should also tell the others later too." John said before he explained everything to him

"What a secret you are keeping, and what you have is exactly a godly power!" Hormus said, wide eyed

"Though there are a couple of limitations, such as my physical body, the limits of my brain, and I need the consent of both the girls and the spirits." John said

"If you dont have the consent of the spirits, then what exactly happens?" Hormus said

"We cant perform the act. The best we could only do is to bring calamities to the planet, thats all." John said

"That is already enough to call a low level godly act." Hormus said as he was thinking

"Anyways, please do keep it as a secret. Maybe until the right time, since even we cant just keep the secret for long." John said

"Yes. With something of that magnitude, even every specie wont be able to stay quiet for that long. Though I understand your point, it would be my honor to keep your secret, even to my grave if need be." Hormus said

"Wow. Thats some honor." John said, impressed

"Lets now go back, preperations might bow be done." Hormus said as he now stands at the door to scan his finger

"Oh.. and like I also said to yelena, me and the girls are still low on power, so you guys will have to fight when we get there." John said

"What?!" Hormus said as the door opens

"Though we can fight a bit, just not too much. Since we are still recovering." John said as they now enter the bridge

"Oh, understood then. That kind of power might really waste more energy than the usual, I guess." Hormus said as he now sits at the side

"Everyone! To your seatbelts! Its now time to warp!" Yelena said to the crew

"Beginning countdown to warp. In 10 seconds." Said the operator as everyone in the ship now strap themselves for warp

"8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.."

"Warp now!" Yelena said before they actually warped towards planet urd

After they arrived, what awaits them was a battlefield, where the hercules fleet and the councils fleet was now battling against the octoguy and arachs fleet.

"What the hell is going on here?!" Hormus said, wide eyed

"This is the hercules fleet, battleship trident, you are to join the battle right now if able! We have engaged with the enemy for over 4 hours now! Enemy attacked first without any warning!" Troy said over the comms

"This is yelena from battleship trident, will go over there as soon as possible." Yelena said

"Can john be able to fight?" Troy said

"Just a bit, since they did their best at protecting themselves from what happened in planet swol." Yelena said

"Thats enough. I have a mission for them--" troy said before he was cut off

"Problem is, that the girls are still down. The event might have took a heavy toll on them. So how is the council on planet demo?" Yelena said

"It seems that they were able to hold their own, since the arachs suddenly fled after learning that their planets are no more." Troy said

"I see. Thats good then, but where did the other arach armada even fled to?" Yelena said

"The council had spies undercover inside an arach battleship, and reported that they have gone to planet urd to join forces with troj, the octoguy leader. So we and the council have decided to go to urd." Troy said

"And this is what we got into now." Yelena said

"Yeah. Alright then. Have john ready in 2 hours, you already know the SOP right?" Troy said

"Yes. And a team will come with him right? For the mission." Yelena said as troy agrees, before they cut communications

"I heard everything." John said as he now stands beside yelena

"You okay now john? For the mission ahead." Yelena said

"Yes. And I think I can guess what the next mission might be." John said

By that time, they were now docking the ship to the hercules ship for a regular check up of both crew and ship.
