Chapter 52

"You already briefed with the mission jasmin? This might be the first time we team up." John said

They were now at a small military cargo ship, where they are now about to enter the planet, and strapped into the chair at the side for safety.

"Yeah, it would be the first time indeed." Jasmin said

"And would we be enough for this mission?" Vander said

"Yes my friend, all 4 of us are enough." John said

"My bro for lightning, me for weather control, vander for blackhole, and melize pagasa for heal." Jasmin said

"Its like a team for rpg games. Haha." Vander said

"Whats the mission again? Just checking." Melize said, anxious

"The mission now is to find the enemy king and kill him, before any more octoguys be sacrified in this fight." John said

"I know you are anxious in this mission melize, but I can keep you safe. Dont worry about it." Vander said

"Thats right. Me and my bro will be the vanguards while you two will be back up. You two are dating now after all." Jasmin said smiling

"Team storm, we have now descended into enemy territory! And is receiving some heavy firepower!" Said the driver, where they now see one of the floating cities in urd

"Drop us all here." John said as he unfastened himself

"What?! We are almost there!" Jasmin said

"The ships barriers cant hold on for too long. We must do this." John said as vander and melize also followed

"Alright then. And how about the pilot?" Jasmin said as she now follows them

"He will be fine. I will make the ship land on the city as intended." John said to jasmin with a smile

"Hahh.. lets go then." Jasmin said

After that, all 4 of them goes towards the hatch and opened it, where john and jasmin flew out the ship. And as they flew out of the ship, they guarded the ship from any laser fire, while vander took melize and flew towards one of the floating cities in planet urd.

"You alright my friend?" John said on the comms, as he struck lightning at the energy shields of the floating city

"Yeah, dont worry. Im not pushing myself like that last time anyways." Vander said as they now got passed the damaged barrier, towards the city

"Your powers are great, but your body cant withstand the great amounts of energy being made from your powers. So you better be careful out there." Jasmin said as she also made the weather around the planet into a thunder storm

"Dont worry guys, he now has me with him." Melize said with a smile

"You two are just so sweet." Jasmin said, as they were also able to get passed the damaged barrier and went to a part of the city with a landing space for vehicles

"Guys, focus on the mission." John said as he threw some lightning strikes towards the octoguys pointing their guns at them

"Ok." All 3 of them said as they got into their positions

"Alright, I sweep the whole city while vander and melize searches for troj on their own, while jasmin guards the ship. Got the game plan?" John said

"Got it." All 3 of them confirmed

"Mission start!" John said before he ran at lightning speed all around the first floating city they entered

As john was running throughout the city at lightning speed, vander was flying above ground with melize in his arms, to see if they may see troj. And when vander and melize spot soldiers with their laser guns aimed at them, vander just attack them with a blackhole, where hes free to control that blackhole to the direction he want for it to move. And also as part of the plan, john overloads the city, so that the octoguys hiding underground would come up to see whats happening. Then after a few hours of finding, john moves early towards another city, where vander flyings to other cities as well. Meanwhile, somewhere on planet urd.

"My king, seems like the humans are doing well in battle." The guard said in octoguy language

"Their ships may be strong, but ours are stronger." Troj said confidently

Troj was an octoguy, clad in armor, where he looks very tough and is a bit taller than most of his race.

"Just why did it come to this?"

"We were a peaceful race for a long time."

"Shut up! If you dont want to get executed!" Troj said

"My king, it seems like the humans have landed on the planet.what should we do?"

"That cant be true! The arachs didnt contact me for anything about that! Execute the one who said that!" Troj said

"But what if--"

"Do you also want the same fate as that guy?" Troj said

"No sir." Said one of them as they all went quiet

"I won that war, so I am your king! Anyone who objects will be executed! That was my decree when I sat on the throne right?" Troj said as everyone was quiet. "Good."

Then like a flash of lightning, everything was over in a flash, as troj only saw white light before his end. Where what remains of his head were none, as his blue blood sprinkles from his body, before it eventually fell to the ground. And with the sealed door suddenly having a big hole.

"My king!" The guards said as they were all up in arms, and with the people there all surprised, without noticing the hole on the door

"Extermination complete." John said after he destroyed the door

"Surrender human! Or else you will suffer!" Said the guards in octoguy language as they all gather towards the door

"You all want to become like your king? Be my guest." John said as the guards couldnt understand

"You must be johnny storm right? With power of lightning." Said an elder octoguy at the back, before the guards saw who it was and stood aside

"Yes. I have come here to end this war, not end this race." John said

"If it is as you say, then so be it. But without a king, who will lead us?" The elder said

"As the wise sage chosen by aramak, I have chosen a leader to lead your people when all was in chaos. But now that the arachs are no more, you shall decide on who will lead your race as king." John said

"Is that true?! Aramak chose you?!" The elder said

"Yes, as there was also no one else beside him that time." John said

"Oh! What wonderful news! If you have chosen a leader, then you must be wise!" The elder said

"But how do you differ from the arachs?" An octoguy said in their language

"Which is why I said you shall choose whether to join your new leader or not, one that I have chosen that is." John said. "What do you choose?" He said in their tongue

"Oh! You speak our language?! That is good! But I say, as the former sage, to trust you." The elder said

"Ok then." John said. "Have all ships stop fighting against the council and humans! But have then exterminate the arachs!" He orders them, which the elder translated to their tongue, and the guards understood

"I shall go now." John said turning his back

"Where do you now go oh wise one?" The elder said

"To my family." John said with a smile

After that, john ran at lightning speed, back to the ship, where vander and melize were also waiting.
