Prologue

There in an empty hospital room lies a young adult, where he just woke up from his own slumber. A bit chubby yet thin young man, whose also maybe at the age of 24. Then after looking around the room, he realized that he wasnt in his room!

"Where am i? And what just happened?!" He said as he slowly rise from the bed

He then noticed a bit of pain in his left arm, where he was actually injected with some dextros. That was also the time when he realized that he was in a hospital and was hospitalized. He then thought on why and how he ended up there. Cause as he recall, he had no recollection on why he was there in the first place.

He immeidately noticed some noise, and saw that the nurse dropped the chart she was carrying, as she was standing at the door.

"OMG.. Gotta call the doctor.." she said wide eyed, before she rushed out and closed the door with a bang.

"Hahh.." he said as he felt helpless, accepted the whole situation for now, and slowly lies down again at his bed. Since he thought to himself, as long as he doesnt even remember on why hes there in the first place, he would just be wasting his energy doing things otherwise. After that, tries to sleep again.

After a few minutes, more like maybe more than 30 minutes, a doctor and a nurse came. As they enter the room, he woke up from his sleep.

"Good day sir, im doctor edward lim. May I ask what is your name? How are you feeling right now?" The doctor said after arriving at his bed side. He was also instructing the nurse while walking towards the bed side to take notes and check his vitals or something.

"My name is johnny storm. And im just fine, thanks. Though I would like to know about everything that had happened to me please." John said

"Wait, you dont know what had happened to you?" Edward said surprised

"All I remember is that I was just working, and i cant remember anything else after that." John said

"Thats indeed weird.. since your test results shows that your increadibly healthy. May I ask if you might be taking drugs?" Edward said suspiciously

"No! Never would I be taking drugs! Never in a million years!" John said hardly denying the question

"I see. Since your tests also shows that u have been drugged or was taking drugs." Edward said

"What?! Just who would have done this to me? And why? I just cant remember what happened after I blacked out." John said

"Do you have any enemies at the company by any chance?" The nurse said, as she was almost done checking up on john

"Nope, not that I know of." John said while thinking. "I was even friends with almost all people in my account. Heck, im even very careful when dealing with people as well!" Saying as he doesnt yet have a clue on what really happened to him.

"What do you mean? Or maybe, you have been drinking recently or something?" Edward said

"No, but I did drink a lot of energy drinks aside from coffee, since its never easy to be a call center agent." John said

"So thats the reason!" Edward said like he was covinced. "Drinking too much energy drinks--"

"John!" The woman said

They then turned to the door to find a woman, who was wide eyed, and was crying. With a loss for words, she just ended up putting the plastic bags to the side before she ran towards john.

"I thought you werent gonna wake up again! Thank god!" The woman said at the other side of his bed, hugging john and stuff

"Mom, im alright now. Dont worry." John said as he assures her

"Thats right mrs angel storm, hes now alright. Although he had been taking quite a lot of energy drinks, which resulted in somewhat of a drug overdose. Since adrenaline is generating inside the body at a faster rate than usual." Edward said explaining

"What?!--" angel said

"Hold it mom, I wasnt done with explaining my part." John said cutting her off. "Indeed, I had drunk a lot of energy drinks, but that was before I realized that what I was doing was unhealthy. So after that, I didnt drink any energy drinks within maybe 2 months, before all this happened."

"So thats what happened." Angel said releived

"Even so, the fact remains that you drank energy drinks within a time period, and activated your adrenaline to a certain point. You must be lucky that nothing serious has happened to you." Edward said, stating the facts

"Ok, I get it doc. But something still doesnt add up, cause if that were the case, there might still be some effects left in me right? That I would still be positive for drugs." John

"Yes, that would be the case. But since you pointed that out, its indeed strange. Since your test results also shows that your increadibly healthy, like with no other anomalies in you." Edward

"Hmm.." john said as he was thinking full throttle on the cause

"Oh! I gotta call your dad and let him know!" Angel said before she picked up her phone and got outside to call

"In any case, as you are very healthy, I can get you to be discharged by tomorrow or within this week." Edward said assuringly

"Just one question though" john said as he faces the doctor. "Just how long was I in the hospital?"

"About maybe 2 weeks." The nurse said as she was reviewing the data sheet at the time

"Thats quite long." John said wide eyed

"No, thats quite short for someone coming from a coma." Edward said before he checked the time. "Anyways, we have to leave you for now. There are other patients who are waiting as well."

After john agrees, the doctor and nurse stepped out of the room, where he was alone in the room for a while. Where he also keeps thinking as he layed down his bed, on what really might have happened.
