“what? Your story seems too far fetched to me.” tsukasa

They were now at the command tent of the makeshift base camp at the southern part of the forest, where its safer and more known.

“its true, thats really my story and how it went. Or maybe, you don’t know about the secret war between the 3 forces?” jake

"I dont really know what to believe." Tsukasa

"Then get me to contact with the japanese prime minister takeshi aki, he will explain everything." Jake

"Im afraid i cant also do that, plus i dont have a line for him." Tsukasa

"Then let me contact president dutuer then." Jake said as he gets his phone from his pocket

The phone was also an old keyboard phone that he regularly use.

"Hey, how come your phone is alright?" Tuskasa

"I just turned it off during battle and when i use my powers, plus i just use this phone just in case if anything might go wrong." Jake said before dutuer answered

"Hello?"

"Hello sir, can i ask a favor of you i dont have that much load with me right now." Jake

"Yeah, sure. What can i do?"

"Can you contact the japanese PM and explain the situation to him?"

"Sure, whats your situation now?"

"Long story short, i defeated a monster along with the jsdf and tengus, and i need someone right now to convince commander tsukasa here that my story is real."

"Alright, i will see what i can do." Dutuer said before he cuts the line

"Whew! Philippine president dutuer said hes going to call the japanese PM for you." Jake said to tsukasa

"O-oh.. alright then. Whether your story checks out or not, you are still going to give me some word on whats happening." Tsukasa said as he fully knows to stall jake and to really get the truth oit of him

"You mean a report? I have already told you everything i know of the situation and my story. What more could you possibly need?" Jake

*ring*

"Gotta answer this." Jake said to tsukasa before answering. "Hello?"

"Hello jake, this is detective sinku. I also dont hav much time explaining the situation--" sinku said as jake was walking out of the tent

Jake cuts him off, "long story short detective, this call is already considered an international call."

"Oh, ok. Sara and takeru are gone! I came to warn them that the government wants the kitsune, and the minute i get to their house, it was sealed off!"

"Got it. Where do you suppose they could have gone?"

"I dont know, maybe as far away as possible?"

"I see the situation. Leave it to me now."

"Alright then, will just think of something now, i just quit being a detective after all."

"What?! You could have anticipated that much."

"Yes, but somehow, i couldnt forgive myself for telling everything to the police chief. Though i get that its his job, but still!"

"Yes, i know. You are a good person. Anyways, bye for now. Will have a lot of catching up to do anyways." Jake said before he cut the line

Jake then walks back towards the tent

"Commander tsukasa, do you have rations with you? Or something to eat?" Jake

"Yes, although its just military rations and snacks. Why?" Tsukasa

"Thats good enough, cause im really hungry." Jake said with a grumbling stomach

"Haha, alright then. How many rations do you need?" Tsukasa

"If possible, half of all." Jake said with a smile

With a slight laugh, tsukasa then orders the soldiers to give some of their rations to jake. After a few minutes, they gave their rations to jake and he ate all of them.

"Whoa, just how much food can you eat?" Tsukasa

"Normally, this isnt enough, but it will do." Jake said as he stood up and goes outside the tent

"Wait, what are you going to do?" Tsukasa said catching up to him

"For now, im gonna catch up to a kitsune." Jake said with a smile before he flew up

After he flew up, jake went east and towards tokyo where he will start his search. On a cloudy tokyo, he finally arrived at tokyo.

"Oh gods, specially hermes, guide me to them before its all too late." Jake said as he arrived in the outskirts of tokyo

And there, he saw a ray of sunshine among the clouds pointing towards a train station.

"Thanks!" He said before he followed the ray of sunshine and took the chance

But as he arrived at the shinkansen train station, jake saw that the ray of sunshine directed to a train which had already launched or gone forward. Then at lightning flight speed, jake catched up to the train, and landed at the front of the train to signal the driver to stop the train. After a while of convincing to enter the train, jake was then granted permission to enter the train at high speeds, and he entered it at lightning speed.

"Excuse me sir, why are you here?" The conductor said in japanese and shaking as they closed the door to the train

"Im just here looking for a friend. Do you speak english?" Jake

"No, no english." The conductor said as he looks for someone who can

Until one service crew agreed to translate for him.

"What do you need sir?" The service crew said

"Did you see a blond woman with red eyes or wearing shades coming here?" Jake

"Yes, why?" The service crew said

"Oh by the gods, Thank you.." he said being relieved. "Can you guide me to her?"

"Why? What is your business with our passenger?" The service crew said

"Im her friend, and i just want to talk." Jake said with a serious face

"A-alright, this way please." The service crew said as she leads the way

Jake then followed the service crew towards their seats, where they were seated at the middle of the train.

"Whoa! Why are you here?!" Takeru said as he was ver surprised to see jake

"And whats with your clothes? You look like.. oh.." sara said as she got an idea

"Well, i had no time, so i just had to bet on the gods for guidance." Jake said with a gesture

"Ok, and whats with the blood on your shirt and pants?" Takeru

"Oh, they are the blood of the oni." Jake said as it fully surprised them

"Oni? You mean--" takeru

"Yes dear, the oni. There was no other way it seems." Sara

"Anyways, put this on." Takeru said as he gave his jacket

"Thanks." Jake said as he receives it

"Anyways, why are you here?" Sara

"I should ask you the same question, why are you guys here?" Jake said after putting on the jacket

"I just cant believe that you found us!" Takeru said being amazed

"Its a one in a thousand chance..anyways, i will have you tell your story on why your escaping." Jake

"Hahh.. we got no choice huh.." takeru said as sara agrees sadly

"Yes, for the peace and order of this place." Jake

"Even though this place just tried, or was about to try and do something to me?" Sara

"Yes and no. Its kind of difficult if you wont explain it properly to me." Jake

"Alright then. Back when you were staying at the house, i caught a glimpse of the future where im captured or killed and experimented by the japanese military." Sara

"Premonition huh.." jake said as sara agrees. "Anyways, let me get you to the philippines where it is safer."

"Thank you jake." Sara said as jake got his phone and texted dutuer

"Let me also get you something to eat jake, you must be very exhausted by now." Sara said as jake agrees

But when sara stood up and was at some distance away, a shooter then stood up from behind and walks towards sara to shoot her. But takeru notices this as the shooter passed by their seats and jumped in front of the shooter, before he could ever shoot and shot takeru. In that instant as well, sara received the divinition, but was already too late as she turned back.

"Tch!" Jake said as he tazed the shooter before he could ever shoot once more, and before jake could ever send that text message.

"Takeru!" Sara shouted as she ran towards takeru to tend to him

"Who sent you?! Who gave you the order?!" Jake shouted towards the shooter

"Ugh.. general.. hito.." the shooter said as he was twitching

"Damn it! He doesnt even know of the situation! You stay there!" Jake said as he tazed him again

"Takeru.. oh.. please dont worry, i will heal your wounds soon." Sara said as she works on healing him

"No.. you.. must.. smile.." takeru said as his final words before his final breath

"It seems that hes also shot at the heart, even i cant do anything now." Jake said after he got to takeru

"No!! Takeru.. no!!" Sara said as she was crying

"Im sorry i couldnt do anything." Jake said as he was mourning

Sara only cried as she also sensed the sincerety of jakes words.

"If it wasnt for your friend and the military!" Sara suddenly said

"Whoa! Hold on! Lets talk about this!" Jake said being surprised

"No! They shall pay with their lives!" Sara

In that instant, before jake could ever do anything, the whole section of the train was filled with fur, all before that section of the train and beyond was damaged due to kitsune going berserk in her true form. And in her true form, kitsune then ran back towards tokyo to do what she must do.

"Ughh.. what happened?" Jake said as he woke up

Jake was the surprised to see the aftermath of what has become of the train, right after kitsune goes berserk.

"Damn it!" Jake could only curse as he now knows what to do

With takeru right by his feet, before he stood up, he could only pray for his safe arrival in the astral realm. After that, jake flew to view his surroundings with some other people around and with the train staff all confused on what to do. Then he saw kitsunes foot prints and followed it back towards tokyo, before a person went to him to ask something in japanese. There at tokyo, at the main city, the kitsune arrives and wreaks havoc upon the city. After a while, some helicopters arrive and shoots bullets at the kitsune, only to have her run and jump around the city to avoid the bullets. As the kitsune was by the size of a 6 story building, she could easily jump at the buildings except in high rise buildings, and shoots fire balls at the helicopters once in a while. Then after a while of battling like this, jake arrived right above the kitsune, as there were no more helicopters left to counter her.

“sara! Please listen!” jake said before he was being shot with fire. “im here to talk! Please listen!”

Jake did this for a couple of minutes to no avail, as kitsune would only act as like a wild animal as well while shooting fireballs at him or the city.

“i guess its time.” jake said as he now sees jet fighters approach from a distance

With them coming, jake could only summon a small lightning storm, so that there will be just enough wind and lightning to throw those jet fighters off course and back. In that instant, jake then strikes the kistune with lots of lightning, enough to kill it.

“sorry to do this.” jake said as he descends towards the kitsunes forehead

And before the kistune could wake up once more, jake pulled out the power stone on her head, before she wreath in pain due to that and fully die while crying blood.

“What the hell happened out there?!” the japanese PM, takeshi aki said

Jake was now being surrounded by soldiers and police as the PM visited the place as well.

“sir, I can explain--” jake said while holding the power stone

“hold it!” a soldier said

“hold it soldier, hes not here to hurt me.” aki said as the soldiers and police all stood down

“here you are, the kitsunes power stone.” jake said as he handed the stone over, still having its blood

“please, do tell me what happened jake.” aki said, calming down

“alright then, as you may be confused by now what is really happening, buy me some clothes as part of my payment for my services.” jake

“what?! you expect me to just buy you some--” aki

Jake cuts him off, “just who defeated the berserk kitsune and saved many other lives?” jake

“hahh.. fine. So what else do I owe then?” aki said containing his pride

“just a meal and a ticket back home would do, nothing else. Anyways, we might want to get out of here due to all the people.” jake said referring to all the people gathered at the side

“alright then. I will take you up on that offer, so you better tell me everything that you know.” aki said as they both walk out of the scene and into his limousine

“sure, and are you sure that I can also--” jake

Aki cuts him off, “just get in.”

With that order, jake gets in the limousine, even though he reeks of blood from both oni and kitsune.

“you may want to throw that shirt away, since its now got blood in it.” aki

“uhh.. don’t you want for your scientists to study these blood samples?” jake

“hmm..” aki said in deep thought. “fine, I will give it to our scientists as well. But for now, your president dutuer called me about the situation and im now somewhat knowledgable.” aki

“thats good, though I will tell all of my story to you while on the way. Where are we going anyways?” jake

“to my office, where I will handle all the paperwork and everything.” aki

“i see.” jake

“anyways, can you now please tell me whats happening?” aki
with that, jake then told the PM what is happening and the prophecy on what might happen.

"I just cant believe everything that you just said about gods and stuff, but the prophecy i can probably believe in. After all, you also took care of those beasts for us." Aki

"Thanks for believing." Jake

"But to think that general hito ordered that, means that he also knows of the current situation and wishes for power himself." Aki

"Probably. As that is the most probable conclusion that even i can derive." Jake

"Were here." Aki said as the building where his office is, came into view

Then inside the building, they arrived at akis office where jake orders mcdonalds and some clothes for him. Aki then calls upon the generals in his office as jake was also eating.

"Sorry for eating at your office sir, but im just very hungry." Jake said at the side

"No problem." Aki said before facing the generals, including the police chief yamada. "Who among you knows the situation here in tokyo?"

"Me sir, since i was the one who authorized jake and detective sinku to investigate." Yamada

"I see, and who did you report on this?" Aki

"It was suppose to be you sir, but general hito answered your phone, and i didnt have any other options as jake was left all alone in aokigahara forest." Yamada

"Really?" Aki

"And you said to leave the decision to me back then since your still busy taking the call from your wife." Hito

"Ugh.. so the fault comes to me then. But you didnt have to order the kill for the kitsune!" Aki said to hito

"But knowing that something like a kitsune is alive out there, the implications of what we can really do!" Hito

"Hahh.. this is also on me then.. Since acording to jake, the kitsune was very harmless and wouldnt hurt a soul back then." Aki

"Sorry sir, but--" hito

Aki cuts him off, "no buts! No excuses! It doesnt change the fact that you tried to endanger millions over your personal agenda!"

"Tch." Hito said knowing full well of his responsibility

"Anyways, whats the status on the oni?" Aki

"I have now ordered the collection of samples on the area." A general said

"Good. And the kitsune?" Aki

"Also sealed off so that we can collect samples from him--" another general said

Jake cuts him off, "the kitsune is a her by the way."

"Yes, thank you." That general said

"Well, order also the burial for the kitsune." Aki

"But sir, how?" Yamada said as the other generals agree

"By burning her, and slowly if possible." Jake said when aki was about to say something and while he was still eating

"That is a good point." Aki said after thinking for a bit

"Jake,just how many food did you order?" Yamada

"Just enough for 2 persons, nothing too big." Jake

"Anyways, how shall we deal with the onis corpse? We cant just burn the forest." Hito

"Well, we will just have to let it be, and let nature decide." Aki

"You can imagine the media going wild about all this, what should we do sir? We cant hide something this big." Yamada

"Yes, i think your right about this. And since the request came from the daughter of one of the victims, how should we approach this?" Aki

"This is also the first that we heard about this." The generals said

"Because you said only to get directly to the point general hito, which was why i didnt include about the girl." Yamada

"Oh, yeah. Sorry about that." Hito

"Anyways, general ken hito, i will turn a blind eye on what you have done for now." Aki

"Thank you very much!" Hito said in japanese and with a bow

"So the main question now is on what to do with the media and the girl." Aki

"And there is the tengu as well, they wish to live in peace with us humans." Jake said as he finished eating

"Oh, that. We almost forgot about them." Yamada said as they agree

"I think we should make friendly relations with them." Aki

"But sir, what if they will also make others disappear as well?" Hito

"Will they jake?" Aki siad as they all turn to him

"I dont really fully know their ways, but surely, the disappearance incident was caused by the oni and his lackeys." Jake

"I see. It seems further investigation of their ways is important." Aki

"Anyways, they all know full well that the humans of this era has far more dangerous weapons now." Jake

"So we have an advantage over them, of course!" Hito

"Not exactly. Hahh.. you see, they seem to be nocturnal." Jake

"And we have night vision goggles, that would do." Hito

"Plus their leader, kansuke, can control the wind at will. So it would prove difficult for an all out war with them." Jake

"I would say the chances are about a hundred percent if you, the monster hunter, will also be with us." Hito

"What?! No! After all they have done and their hospitality, i wouldnt do that to them!" Jake said stressing out

"Yamada and other generals, what would be the probability if we go an all out war against them?" Aki

"Maybe about--" hito

Aki cuts hum off, "Shut up for now general hito."

"I would say we will win this by.. i dont know.. maybe 40-50%?" Yamada said as the other generals agree

"I would say that figure would suffice, as there will be very many losses from the fight. And not only will tanks be useless in strategy with them, they can also fly, which makes choppers a bit useless." Jake

"Thats bad, coming from the monster hunter himself." Aki

"How come i now have that title?" Jake

"Everyone is now calling you that jake, even in your media." Aki

"Oh.. hahh.. fine then." Jake said with an oh well gesture

"Anyways, we should proceed with friendly interactions with the tengus." Aki said as the others agree

"So, what about the girl? She seeks assylum with the philippine embassy and shes now maybe gone to the philippines by now." Yamada

"As for that, leave if to me. For now, we should do our best to cremate the kitsune." Aki

"What about the media?" Yamada

"Jake, what are your thoughts?" Aki

"Well, for me, its either telling the people the truth or you take the fall. Eitherway, telling the truth is the only option left." Jake

"Alright then, telling the truth it is." Aki

"Uhh.. jake, can you handle the crowd?" Yamada

"What crowd?" Jake said as he slowly get where this is going

With that, the PM then called for a press conference only in telling the truth about what happened.

"--and thus, in light of what has happened, i present this award to jake burns." Aki said during the conference

They were now at a function hall where the press conference took place.

"Thank you very much" jake said in japanese after he was awarded with a medal

"You can speak japanese?!" Aki

"Just only a little bit." Jake said with a smile

"Oh, alright then, do you have anything to say jake?" Aki said as he was presented with a mic

"Aside from the fact that this might not be a result of the secret war between 3 factions in hiding in this world today, none." Jake said before the reporters all stood up to ask questions

"Thats it folks! Thank you!" Aki said as they both exit the stage thus ending the conference

After that, Jake was now at the airport where sinku was there to give him a lift to the airport.

"Thanks for all you have done jake." Sinku

They were enjoying some tea time inside a cafe at the airport.

"Its all good, and you didnt have to quit your job because of all that. And thanks for taking care of my bag." Jake

"No, i needed some fresh air after a while in the service." Sinku

"How many years have you been on the service?" Jake

"About 10 years now. Im already 45, i need to start looking at retirement." Sinku

"I heard that you were offered a job by the police department as instructor, how about that as retirement?" Jake

"I will think about it, though its a very good offer i might say." Sinku

"Sir monster hunter, can we take a picture with you?" Some kids said as they approached jake

"They are asking for your picture jake. Would you agree to it?" Sinku

"Sure! No problem." Jake said before he took pictures and signatures for those children

"You certainly are gaining popularity." Sinku said after the picture taking

"Yeah, i agree. Though i would need time to really get used to all this fame." Jake

"Everyone does. Well, you should hire your own manager if thats the case." Sinku

"Nah, im with the philippine military and government, so i dont need any manager. Also, they would only get in the way of my main tasks." Jake

"Yes, you are right." Sinku

"Oh, look at the time. My flight is almost up!" Jake said as he stood

"Are you sure you will be ok in a plane? I mean, wont you fry their systems?" Sinku

"Nope, i wont. I can control my powers quite well in fact." Jake said as he now walks towards the kiosks

"So why wont you just fly back? You can also do it right?" Sinku said joining him

"Nah, its really tiring to fly at long distances you know. Anyways, see you sinku, glad to have met you." Jake said as they shook hands

"Glad to meet you too." Sinku said before they go their separate ways.

After that, jake then flies back to the philippines where his family was waiting for him at the airport.

"And thats all i have to report sir" jake

He was now with his family riding a taxi when dutuer called him. It was now afternoon when dutuer called and them stuck on traffic

"Good, thats good." Dutuer

"So, what will happen to ai yukino?"

"Ahh.. the japanese woman who sought assylum. I will take care of that matter jake, for now, you go and rest there."

"Ok, and has the bait been bitten yet?"

"Oh, the bait.. Probably not yet."

"Have the americans move yet?"

"They have, but my generals say that they are now requesting for a bid for your blood."

"What? Hahh.. they are really too proud to even steal it. Anyways, its up to you now on how you would use it."

"Really? Cause we actually used one bag for research purposes."

"Thats alright. So whats the result?"

"Well, the thing is your genes might have been slightly altered. They dont know how it was altered, but america has agreed to bring their scientists and equipment here."

"Ok, thats a little unexpected."

"But the other thing is, they also have no comment about the soldiers that they have sent just to get you. They might do something out of the ordinary again, so you watch out."

"I will. Though it might not just be americans now that you have to watch out for."

"What you mean?"

"Now that i have made headlines all around the world for defeating monsters, there might be others with some crazy ideas."

"I see. Alright then, i will have them watch the bait real good."

"Ok. Thats all i guess then."

"Yes, hope you have a good rest." Dutuer said before they cut the line

"Im glad that you all went your way to get me, but what if something happens to you along the way." Jake said to his family

His family were with him at the taxi, going straight back home.

"Bro, you are famous and all over the news! What do you expect us to do?" Joy

"We have come to get you home, i cant believe you are to face monsters like that!" Emma

"Hahh.. like i said, hes old enough to take care of his own." Jacob

"Yes he is, but look at the damages done by those things!" Emma

"Hahh.. mom, you are really stressing out for no reason, like dad said, he will be fine." Joy

"Whose side are you on?" Emma

"I only agreed to getting brother from the airport together, not that i disagree with dad. Hes right you know, those monsters are no match for his lightning." Joy

"You know, when your mom saw the videos, she became like this. But i do support you for being the monster hunter." Jacob

"Thanks for supporting me joy, dad." Jake said as emma was pouting

"Anyways, you will not be going to any monster hunting! Like ever!" Emma said as she grabs his arms

Jake only sighs as joy further convinces her mother to finally let him go, until..

*ring*

"Hello?"

"Jake! We got a problem!"

"Who is this?"

"This is general greg tuba, and im informing you that there are 2 monsters loose within the city!"

"Which city?"

"Here in manila! Anyways, sir dutuer is now issuing mobilization of the military aside from the police to take care of the situation."

"Uhh.. i also got a problemof my own."

"What is it? Whats more important than saving a whole city?"

"My mom, she wont let go of me."

"Oh, well do sonething about it! Or else manila will be done for!"

"What about the cost of damages?"

"We will handle it!"

"What are the monsters we are talking about?"

"A tikbalang and a garuda. They both now took both land and sky, as no helicopter could ever get into the city!"

"Hahh.. will try to convince my mom here for a while, can you hold them--"

Tuba cuts him off, "what?! You expect us to dive into the worst area yet?! There is a fog within the perimeter where they are!"

"How big?"

"Very big! About a few blocks in radius."

"No wonder its so traffic down here. Alright, i will be there as fast as i can."

"You better be! For all our sakes!" Tuba said before he cuts the line

"Mom--"

Emma cuts him off, "no! If its sending you to fight against those creatures, i would rather die!"

"Hahh.." they sighed

"Mom, if brother doesnt go there, its not only you who will be dead!" Joy

"Shes right. The military would do anything to separate you from jake." Jacob

"Your husband is right by the way maam, you should listen to him." Said the taxi driver

"Well, i enlisted to the philippine military so that i can gain their protection in return, and for your protection as well." Jake

"Brother is right. If only--" joy

Emma cuts them off, "all of you, shut up! I wont let go of my baby boy no matter what!"

"Mom, i still live with you. So i will always come back to you, no matter what." Jake

"You will?" Emma

"Yes, i will. And its a promise. Besides, at my stage right now, only humans can hurt me more than monsters." Jake

"Is that true?!" The taxi driver said

"Yes, and i was even forcefully chosen by the gods because of the americans messing with natural forces." Jake

"I see." The taxi driver said

"Anyways, you promise me to come back home, no matter what?" Emma

"Yes, i promise. And i intend to from the start." Jake

"Alright then, go do your thing." Emma said as she lets go of him

"You kick some ass brother! Will be watching from here." Joy

"Good luck out there son!" Jacob said as jake gets out of the car

"But what about the taxi fare?" Jake

"No worries, the fare is on me! I get to meet the famous you after all!" The taxi driver said

"Alright then. I will just go to the house by myself later. Will expect a good dinner later!" Jake said before closing the door

Jake then flies off towards the monster infested area of manila city, where a lot of bystandards fell victim to the group of roaring tikbalangs, while the garuda is up at the roof of a very tall building watching out for anything that flies. The garuda was 5 times as big as a regular human while the tikbalang alpha was as big as a 5 story building. There at the roof where the garuda just stood by, jake flies towards the garuda, then it suddenly goes for the kill. But as the garuda could only use the wind, it was no match for jakes lightning strikes, thus killing it and getting the power stone at its forehead. And as he finished off the garuda, a media helicopter flies by to capture everything.

"Whew. This was easy, i hope the tikbalang is also easy as well." Jake said after he waved at the media

With the garuda done for, he then puts the power stone at the roof, and aims for the tikbalang alpha right below.

"I knew that the tikbalang was big, but this is definitely ridiculous." Jake said as the alpha roars

Jake then jumps from the roof to make a lightning punch at the alphas head, only to have it evaded and countered with a punch. But as the punch was set in motion, jake countered its force with his own lightning punch, which hurt the tikbalang and took a few steps back in pain.

"I guess even though having skin of steel or earth, your still an organic being that feels pain." Jake said before he flew straight towards the tikbalang

With the tikbalang now fully knowing jakes power, it roars and calls upon the others. With an increadible jumping strength, the others reached towards jake and surrounding him in mid air. The others were about as tall as 7 feet and is as tough as the alpha. With the senses of lightning, jake was able to sense them coming in mid air and did a lightning explosion, which also broke all the glass in an area and blasting the other tikbalang away from him as he flew towards the alpha. Writhing in pain, the alpha punches again at jake only to have it countered with lightning fist.

"Time to actually stop this." Jake said as he saw helicopters and the military coming in since the garuda is now out of the way.

With lightning speed, jake flew towards the alphas forehead and forcefully pulled out the power stone. With that done, the military was able to take care of the rest of the tikbalang, while jake got out of their way to collect the garuda power stone.

"Where is your commander?" Jake said after he landed behind the soldiers,after the fog went away.

"Oh, its just you monster hunter." One of the soldiers said

"Our commander is currently at the base right now." Another soldier said

Jake then strikes a lightning punch at a tikbalang which jumped towards the soldiers.

"Some of you must not be distracted! Keep your eyes on the battlefield!" Jake shouted

"Yes sir!" All of them said before returning to shooting position

"You there.." jake said as he picked a soldier from the center. "Give these to general tuba, he will know what to do with it." He said as he gave the power stones and his shirt to that soldier

"Yes sir!" That soldier replied

"Whatever you do, dont ever imbue those stones with power, or else they will come back." Jake said as a warning

That soldier agreed and ran up towards the nearest rooftop to signal for a helicopter pick up. Then as that soldier was doing all that, jake then flew towards the nearest shopping mall to buy new clothes and eating snacks, before flying back towards his house.

"Bro, saw the fight earlier. You were unbeatable!" Joy said as they were sitting on the couch

They were now at the living room watching tv, while emma was preparing for dinner

"You know, the tikbalang was also a hard opponent." Jake

"They are featuring you now on tv jake." Jacob

"Yeah, saying that the monster hunter strikes again. Even until now, i cant believe that there was a war going on between 3 forces." Joy

"Yeah, it also says so in the news." Jacob

Jake then explained to them about the details of the conversation after they ate dinner.

“what?! why would you accept bro? Its clear that they just wanna use you like that. Once the new blood will be gone or stolen, they would ask for more from you.” joy

“yes, I agree with joy there. You shouldnt have agreed to donate more of your own blood if that was the case.” jacob

”yes, they might be able to. Even though im a mix from all 3 forces, all they can probably make are just more mutants.” jake

Jacob cuts her off, “a-anyways.. lets all just finish up so that we can go to bed early.”

With that conversation done and ended, they then head for bed after finishing up with some chores.

After a few days have passed, as the president told him to only standby since he will now be needed only in case of emergencies, he just pass by time with helping their familys new store, Which was also a hit thanks to jakes presence in the store.

“whew! Another set of customers done.” jake said by the counter

He was now at the store where he was helping.

"Are you sure son that you dont have anywhere to go?" Jacob said after cleaning the area

"Dad, can you take over the counter? I must take this." Jake said after he saw the name listed on the phone

"Sure, take your time." Jacob said as jake goes away from them, still inside the store

"Yes, since the blood donation in my house? I cant believe you also came that day."

"It was no problem. I just had to see this countrys superhero and chat with him a bit."

"Mom, dad, i think im going to the malacanang to meet with the south african president." Jake said as he goes near them

"He said he just wanted to meet me, since hes my fan and all." Jake

"Thats good. Go, we will handle things here." Jacob said as emma agrees

As jake agrees, jake then flies towards their house to dress formally for the occasion, before taking some crackers from the fridge and flying towards the malacanang.

"Mr jake burns, we were expecting you." Said the guard outside the malacanang as jake descends towards the entrance

"Yes, thanks" jake said before he walks through the gate

Inside, he was guided by the PSG who came for him, towards dutuer and the south african president as they were still talking on camera. Jake was also given a seat to observe the meeting, and they then officially meet afterward.

"Hi guys!" Jake said as he walks near the presidents

"Oh, hi jake, this is president mata phosa from south africa." Dutuer

"Oh! Its jake burns! Cant believe your here now!" Mata said as he shook jakes hand

"Its a pleasure to meet you mr president mata." Jake

"Come now, lets all have our private lunch." Dutuer said pointing to the dining hall

As there were media as well, only that they were controlled and refrained from going to the dining hall by the PSG, jake and the rest just enters the dining hall without worries and in order to eat.

"Oh? So thats what happened." Mata said after eating

They were now done with eating and dutuer was now telling jakes story as what jake told him.

"I can understand how hard jakes life was and how lonely, but thinking about what happened during his work, made me think again of my relations with the US. Specially some of my people who trusts witchcraft more than doctors." Dutuer

"I can totally relate to that. If jake was with my country, i would have taken the same course of action as you sir dutuer." Mata

"Yeah, and to think people trusts witchcraft more than doctors, makes me sick." Jake

"Speaking of gods, and thank them for our encounter, would you like to come to south africa with your family?" Mata

"Really? Though we still dont have the money yet for a vacation abroad." Jake

"I will take care of your tickets and lodging. How about a 4 day vacation?" Mata

"Oh! Thanks! My parents will be glad for a free vacation." Jake

"But seriously jake, all you have done recently are such achievements! Just leave it to the monster hunter to hunt monsters!" Mata

"Haha, yeah. But the biggest monster yet that i have to hunt is still out there." Jake

"I dont know. I initially thought that it was america because of their ignorance, but i now think that the biggest monster is still hiding and yet to reveal itself." Jake

"I agree with jake. Whats more deadlier nowadays are humans more than any animal or monster. Because of their ignorance." Dutuer

"Hmm.." mata said as he thought to himself. "now that i think about it, i think i got the idea."

"Yes, and thats why i side with dutuer, as he is right in his decisions." Jake

"By the way, what do you mean by ignorance?" Mata

"Ignorant is what you call any person which does the 7 sins, either consciously or unconsciously." Jake

"The 7 sins huh, true indeed. Im well versed of the 7 sins. Whats your religion by the way jake?" Mata

"For me, i dont worship any god aside from one, for i am a catholic." Jake

"The question would be, on which god do you worship? Since you said thor gave you your powers." Mata

"Im not really sure where my power comes from, either its from hyawei or from thor, but im a catholic which remembers and respects the other gods as much as i respect jesus." Jake

"I see. That is a good answer." Dutuer said as mata agrees

"What plans do you still have after this jake?" Mata

"Nope, why?" Jake

“we would just like to sign the deals with you around as guest.” mata said smiling and dutuer being a bit surprised

“oh, ok then.” jake

With their lunch over, jake was also invited as a guest in the signing of deals by presidents in mutual relationship. Jake was later presented with a ticket and accomodations made for 4 people for south afrcia, in public, to show support for the philippines and south african relations. Then at the day after tomorrow, jake and family went off on a vacation towards south africa, along with the president of africa in business class seats.

“again, thank you very much for inviting us to your country mr president.” jacob

They were now at the airplane where jacob was sitting next to jakes parents while jake and joy was sitting beside each other, at business class.

“this is really comfy.” joy

“yeah, we can get used to this at least.” jake said as they smile at each other

“what a great pair of siblings, but only to know that only one was chosen while the other stayed ordinary.” mata said as they were looking at them

“well, believe it or not, they get along with each other really fine.” emma

“and jake always tells us all his adventures, so we know the hardships that he must have been facing.” jacob

“did he already say to you guys how lonely his life was?” mata

“yes. he always got mad at us for making his life that way, and now that the event happened to him, he is somewhat glad to have a life like that.” jacob

“why?” mata

“he said thats because he got to meet the gods and made his life turn around for the better.” emma

“i guess what he really means is that he is now helping us through some hard work of his own, even though that hard word was being the monster hunter.” jacob

“i see. As his parents, are you proud of what your son has become?” mata

“yes.” both of them said

“he may have those powers, but in the end, hes our little boy.” emma

“dear, I think that we already talked about calling him our little boy.” jacob

“oh, sorry. Just cant help it.” emma said smiling

“anyways, I cant say that you have done a great job of raising your boy, but im also glad he is what he is now. A super hero. He will be remembered by millions when the time comes.” mata

“yeah, my sons as well. Even though they are all grown up now.” mata

After their chatter, they all slept on the plane, as the flight would still take about 16 hours max. When they arrived, they parted ways from president mata and finally gone to a tour of their own around south africa, including visiting of wild animals in their wild nature park. Meanwhile, somewhere on south africa, the cartel is up to something.

“is this it boss?”

They were now somewhere on the outskirts of the forest right outside cape town, where a package has just been delivered to them.

“yes, this is it. It has finally arrived!” the boss said

“now we can move on to your plans right?”

“yes. With this, we can finally kill president mata and take over south africa!” the boss said before an evil laugh

“but boss, how are we going to make this kill the president?”
”what do you do with any wild animal. tame it, and let it become your pet.” the boss said

“but what if we cant?” one of them said as the others agree

“we will tame it. Period. And if we cant, then you can kiss south africa goodbye.” the boss said

“how will this lead to more trade between--”

The boss cuts him off, “once the impundulu is out there and wreaking havoc, a lot of people would really buy drugs and stuff! Depending on how we will roll this event.” the boss said
”as expected, you are truly smart boss!” the all agreed as that was said

“bring out the generators!” the boss said before looking at the power stone. “Jake burns once said that depending on how these power stones are powered, it can lead to a very powerful monster.”

“here you are boss, a big generator just for the impundulu.” the men said after getting the generator

“good. Now lets begin.” the boss said

Then they put wires and electrical tape towards the power stone, and turned the generators on, to power the power stone up. After a while of the stone absorbing the energy being made, and glowing brightly, the stone shone so bright that they all just had to cover their eyes. And the stone itself was gone from all the electrical tape.

“where is the stone?!”

“find it! I have already invested so much money just to buy that thing!”

But when they were finding the stone, they saw a giant bird wrapped around with electricity, which makes its true form very difficult to be seen. But before they got to say or do anything, the bird struck lightning towards all of them before returning to the skies. Back to jake and family, where they were enjoying a family dinner on the third night of their stay, they were chatting about many things at the dinner table.
