“is everyone here?” paul

They were at another secret location now, having a meeting by sitting at a round table again.

“yes we are all here, cant you see?” jinjin

“oh, just wanted to take attendance, thats all.” paul

“anyways, it has been decided, with an unanimous vote from everyone except the middle east, that they will make both a space elevator and a dyson sphere.” greg

“so it seems.” arnold

“well, there may be some changes to the plan, but nevertheless, the plan will go on.” paul
”yes, it seems that way.” arnold

“so, since the plan is to get up close with the aliens, how do we do this?” ardel

“let me handle the close encounter with the aliens, as your representative that is.” paul

“i don’t know, I don’t trust you that much yet. Besides, you are our puppet, for as long as you will live.” jinjin

“dont get ahead of yourself! I may be your puppet for now, but I can always escape if I want--” paul

Arnold then pulls out his gun and said, “don’t get ahead of yourself either, remember, your life is in our hands.”

“tch! Anyways, I won the game of sticks fair and square! I get to represent us when I go to space!” paul said seriously

“fair enough.” arnold said before he keeps his gun.

"Like my question before, how do we do this?" Ardel

"The security in that event will mostly be tight, so any kind of break in would be almost impossible." Jinjin

"But with battling them, we have the upper hand." Ahmed

"Rememer ahmed, we will now be an organized group. We will not tolerate any kind of rash actions." Greg

"Yes, i will note that." Ahmed

"Well, how about we do a frontal attack and use that opportunity to sneak inside." Ardel

"Thats not gonna work, and depending on how many guards there are, we dont stand a chance." Jinjin

"Then lets have ahmeds group do some suicide bombing on the place." Arnold

"Hey! My men arent that disposable you know!" Ahmed

"No, we could use that." Paul

"What?!" They said

"You wont be using my men that easily you madman!" Ahmed

"No! I didnt mean the suicide squad or something! I meant we could do a frontal attack as a distraction, having enough time for me to get inside a ship with a couple of men." Paul

"Oh.." they said releaved

"dont just freak us out like that. I really thought you are more madder than ahmed here." Arnold

"Hey!--" ahmed said now standing up

"Easy there!" Both paul and greg butted in to stop him

"We are in an important meeting." Greg

"Just treat his insults as air to you ahmed." Paul

"Hahh.. anyways, how do we do this plan?" Arnold

"The plan is as is right? A frontal attack from some--" greg

Paul cuts him off, "no, i was thinking even bigger."

"What could be even bigger than.. no way.. you are not planning to--" greg said as this also surprised them

Paul continues, "yes, release the monsters."

"I stand true, you ARE mad." Arnold

"Hold on, how did you know we possess some power stones with us?" Jinjin

"Just a hunch. Anyways, just how many stones do you guys have?" Paul

"Stones? As in the stones which summons those monsters?" Ardel

"Yes ardel, and im sure you even bought some from any one of us." Jinjin

"So we are using that now? I have bought one and have another as spare, for my own personal protection." Ardel

"Yes, we will be using all the big ones for this plan. The bigger, the better." Paul

"Whew.. if thats whats needed, then its maybe alright." Ardel

“lets all have ahmeds team get ready to set up the distraction.” masayoshi

"What?! Again with my team?!" Ahmed said banging the table

"Now, now. Lets all get along." Greg

"Anyways, for this plan, i would need everyones cooperation." Paul

"Whats your proposal then? It seems that you have a plan in your mind." Masayoshi

"I plan anyways to have one stone inside a backpack of one man, without them even knowing, to their designated points, then power them all up with electricity." Paul

"How do we get such power? I mean, according to the book of spells, each stone would depend on the amount of power needed, and some even have sacrifices." Greg

"So its true, that you have the book of spells." Paul said with a gesture as greg smirked. "Anyways, lets just have some men guard the carriers, not letting them know that all of them would become sacrifices for the ritual."

"Yes, that could work." Ahmed said as they all agreed

"Were all in agreement then. so during the event, me and some men will sneak into a ship so that we will get into the aliens. The ships should probably run with nuclear fusion, so we should reach there in a few days or so." Paul

"Agreed." They all said

"Depending on how many power stones we have, it would take nearly 50 percent of each of each of our forces." Greg

"50 percent?!" They said

"On second thought, maybe we should hang on to some of them." arnold

"Yeah, i can relate with him." Ardel

"Count me out of this" masayoshi

"You wont know, unless if you try right? Which is why to avoid getting almost 50 percent of our men as sacrifices, which is why we need to get some place in that point where there is so much electricity there." Greg said as the others agree

"If thats the plan, then lets put our targets to the whole continent under monster attack." Paul

"Yes, that way, there will be enough power to increase the monsters in size and strength." Greg

"Well, it will depend on the power of the monsters at hand." Masayoshi

"Alright then, its settled. So lets have the plan like this.." paul said before he laid out his plan

The meeting goes on until they all have reached an agreement. Meanwhile, with jake..

It was the weekend and jake was playing with his children, along with ai bringing drinks for them.

"Now children, go to your mom for a while, i have important matters to attend to." Jake said as he checked who was calling his phone

"Yes dad." The children said before going to ai

"Hello?" Jake said as he stood up to walk towards the gate of the house

"Hello jake, its tom."

"Long time no hear huh, ever since the celebration party for project apollo i think?"

"Yeah, i was really glad president rick invited you along to attend the party at the white house that time. Shame that your family couldnt--"

"Its alright really. We just did it like that so that no harm can be done to my family."

"You still dont trust president percy huh."

"Its not that i dont trust him, i just have some trust issues ever since the last president."

"Still the same."

"Hahh.. anyways, whats with the call?"

"I was thinking of inviting you guys to the event."

"When is that? And where?"

"In lagos, nigeria. And in 3 days from now."

"Oh yeah, its already been a month since that party right?"

"Yes. And ever since it was decided that project apollo was a go, we had all the help we could ever get from the united nations!"

"I can see that your really excited about it."

"Duh. Why wouldnt you also? Its a chance for humanity to really advance as a civilization!"

"Yeah, and why again did they settle for africa as the launch site?"

"I was the one who suggested it should be africa, for a number of reasons, including the fact that we staged it so that you and the rest could attend."

"I see. Since we wont stay in america for a while, you guys just staged the whole event to a place with more space as well. Clever, but not going to persuade us."

"I know, but at least its worth a try. There are still protesters out in the streets wanting for you and the mutants to die, though we just ignore them."

"Yeah, i hope those guys would get a life, its been a while now ever since the event and the whole world knows now that im not to blame."

"You are right, though the injuries that was caused during the black out in the US was your fault."

"I wont deny it, i made the lightning to hit all the electric generators accross the US."

"Anyways, whats done is done, and paul was imprisoned."

"Though he escaped, with some help inside."

"Right. On that topic, intel says that paul is now with the neo nazis."

"Oh boy, i wonder what will come up on that guys head, now that he is now with a terrorist organization."

"I really worry about the world now jake."

"Why is that?"

"We also got intel right? That a weather device was used in algeria. What if others has come into possession of other quantum devices."

"Yes, i worry about the world too. Which is why intelligence networks are all there right? To make the world a better place one information at a time."

"Yes, you are right."

"And the neo nazis arent also stupid enough to really build something unclear as the universal and dimension gates, so we have nothing yet to worry about."

"For the world, yes. But for the rest of the world, not so much."

"Yeah. Anyways, me and my family arent going. 3 days from now is like, christmas, and we got plans by then."

"I see. Hope you watch our live broadcast by then!" Tom said before he cuts the line

Jake then goes towards ai who was waiting for him by the table, and pregnant with his second child.

"Welcome one and all for the event of the century! And thank you all for coming out here! This is your president, yaw kamau." Yaw said

It was now christmas day, where many has gathered around the world on the outskirts of lagos, nigeria. The stage was medium sized and with a large screen at the back.

"Today is in celebration of the launching of the project apollo, where many ships are launched into orbit with their fusion reactors, and build a dyson sphere around the sun to collect energy around it. As this is a project by the UN, our country is just here to facilitate with the launching. Even so, we are proud that this event is taking place here, at lagos, that we may witness humanitys progress towards the future. As you all know, today is christmas day, thus making this event a gift for humanity in this new age." Yaw

"Thank you for that mr president." The MC said as he got on the stage. "As the countdown is now 30 minutes before launch, lets review on how the mission would go. And for that, we have tom hollow to help us review."

Tom hollow waved as he got on the stage as well.

"Thank you for being here dr tom." The MC said

"Thank you for inviting me as well mr dallas morse." Tom

"Anyways, lets start with the explanations. Firstly, we have men, equipments, and materials shipped off towards space, so that they can begin construction right?" Dallas

"Yes. We are now having men, materials, and equipments into the ships as we speak." Tom

"How many ships are there in total?" Dallas

"About a hundred ships in total, and that doesnt even include future launches to space!" Tom

"Wow! That many huh." Dallas

"Yeah, every country is putting effort to building those ships after all." Tom

"And gathering materials as well." Dallas

"Yes, lets not forget about that!" Tom said with a smile

"Then we have the launch, how will the launch take place?" Dallas

"The launch will be a 2 way launch, where the ships are attached to the back of each plane. The plane will take all ships as high as they possibly could, before detaching the ships and launch into space." Tom

"Wow.. and will the plane be able to take all the ships with all that cargo up the in sky?" Dallas

"Yes. And may i remind that these arent just ordinary planes, they are planes equipped with anti gravity tech and fusion drives, which can absolutely carry up to a few tons of cargo." Tom

"Wow.. like, wow. With the anti gravity, it can basically make objects as weightless as possible." Dallas

"Yes, while the fusion drive moves all that cargo from point a to point b as effortless as possible." Tom

"Imagine a few tons of equipments and materials all loaded into a hundred ships. That would be some undertaking if you dont have the help of the whole United Nations." Dallas

"Actually, the middle east was opposed of this in the first place, but due to an unanimous vote from all the nations, they just voted anyways." Tom

"Yeah, i also saw that. Almost all of them had sour faces that time." Dallas

"Anyways, while in space, they will also construct the space elevator and the dyson sphere." Tom

"And how will both structures be constructed?" Dallas

"Well, the details will be on the UN website, though i will say it anyways. The space elevator will be stationed in the middle of space and some kilometers from the ground, while the dyson sphere will be designed like satellites. So that when they reach the sun, not only will the sun power them, but also link up with other satellites to form a ring around the sun." Tom

"I see. Lets now see how much time is left until launch." Dallas said before he looks at the clock. "Oh, its now 15 minutes before the launch!--"

His announcement was then cut off by a very loud screech from the skies.

"Tom, look!" Dallas said as he then points to the skies above the ship

Then in that moment, a very large bird, as big as 2 football fields, descended from the skies and took out a few of the ships.

"Whoa! If your seeing this jake, we need you here now!" Tom

Meanwhile, back in the philippines..

"Jake, you seeing this?" Joy

They were now in the living room of jakes parents house, where jake himself was also on the phone, while the rest were sitting and watching the TV.

"Yeah, i heard you joy. I also just got off a call from the libian president, calling that his people are attacked by what seems to be the mongolian death worm." Jake

Then the news cuts in, "We bring you live news that many parts of africa and the middle east are being attacked by monsters! Jake burns, wherever you are, they all will need you."

"Bro, they need you now." Joy

*ring*

"Hello?" Jake said as he picked up his phone

"Hello jake, this is president rick calling. Are you now seeing the news?"

"Yes sir, im watching it now."

"Good, cause their leaders are contacting me now via conference for the procedures. For now, im authorizing you to mobilize towards africa and the middle east."

"Yes sir!"

"And take whatever forces you could find, quick! Before the whole world gets engulfed with those monsters."

"Roger that." Jake said before rick cuts the line. "Hey joy, wanna come?"

"Go where?" Joy

"You know, to battle! We got no time to spare, so decide now." Jake

"Daddy, are you goong to kick some butts?" One of his children said while sitting beside ai

"Yes, and dont expect some souveniers alright?" Jake said with a smile as he stood up

"Aw man." One of his children said as jake pats them both

"Dont worry, we will be back." Jake said before also kissing ai

"You better come back alright?" Ai

"Yes, i will." Jake said before standing up straight and looking at joy

"Can you at least let me think?" Joy

"There are at least a few mutants around the world right now, and only 4 who could fly. I need you joy." Jake

"Yes, i know. Hahh.." joy said, in deep thought, while being stared at by everyone. "fine! Lets go!"

"You guys be careful." Emma

"Yes mom." They both said as joy now stands up

"Where will we go first bro?" Joy

"We will need one more person, before going to africa first. Follow me." Jake said before walking towards the door

After a few hours of flight, they finally were able to reach africa.

"Joy, you go with nat towards the north, i go towards the middle." Jake

They were now high up in the sky, just above the event site where the minukawa was visible.

"What?! You dont need help?" Joy

"I will, once i need it. But this is a big one, i got to tell you. Now go!" Jake said with a gesture before going to battle mode

"But what if you might need it?" Joy

"Joy, lets trust your brother in this one. Lets go get that mongolian death worm down at libya." Natasha

It was also then that a screech was heard by them, and the minukawa flew towards them.

"Do you think that you could help me with this joy? Anyways, the amount of monsters is very unnatural. You both better go now!" Jake said before the bird was close to them

Jake then flew head on towards the screeching minukawa, and threw lightning punches at the birds mouth, which did some damage to it. Jake then flew towards the lower part of the head and did an uppercut at the bird, with a lightning strike at the giant birds head. This got the minukawa angry and did a flip, to chase jake.

"Shouldnt we help him?!" Joy said, in that instant

"Lets go, we got the north area right? We also got some big fish to fry." Natasha said with a thumbs up

"Ok then, hope you survive all this bro." Joy said before they go towards libya

Back to jake, he was now summoning lightning storms, as he took the fight high up in the sky, right around the upper atmosphere. As the minukawa hunts down its prey, which is now jake for this instance, jake then strikes the minukawa with many lightning bolts at its belly as it screams. In that instance, jake then flies towards the forehead of the minukawa to find the power stone among all its big feathers. With almost all his power, he unleashed very big lightning bolts unto the minukawa as it was now falling from the sky, being unconscious and all. Then he was able to find its power stone among all the feathers which are on fire, and gouge it out, before it landed in the sands of ethiopia.

“whew! That was quite the fight!” jake said, as he stands at the head of the minukawa

Then a big roar was heard not quite that far from where he was at.

“oh boy.” jake said as he stomachs the fact of another monster. “better get to a city to deposit this power stone.”

Jake then got his compass out to check where is west, before heading there. After a few minutes of flying, he finally reached the nearest big city, addis ababa, where another monster was terrorizing the place.

“perfect timing.” jake said before he searched for the nearest military camp as the grootslang was still terrorizing the city

He then flew to save a local policeman from the grootslang, by sending a lightning punch in front of the monster, and stopping it from its tracks and sending it backwards.

“are you ok?” jake said as he descended in front of the policeman

The local policeman could only speak in his local language, so he has trouble communicating with jake.

“here, give this to your president, and tell him its from jake burns.” jake said as he gave the power stone towards the local policeman

“yes.” the policeman said before he stood and ran

“now, its your turn.” jake said as he now comes face to face against the grootslang

The grootslang was like a mammoth with a trunk of many big snakes, which was by the size of a 6 story building. With the grootslang charging in towards jake, he then flew towards its forehead, where he easily spots the power stone and grabs on to it. The local military and police were all working together that time to save the city, as the military also sends many bullets from guns and tanks, towards the grootslang. And when all that was underway, jake then strikes lightning towards the power stone, thus overloading it and putting the grootslang unconscious as he gouges the stone from its head.

“whew!” jake said as he descends towards the soldiers, all covered in blood

The soldiers were all trying to stop jake in his tracks, only to have the bullets bounce off of him, before they were stopped by the commander.

“i see you are the commander. Do you speak english?” jake

“a bit.” said the commander

“here, take this stone and give it to your president.” jake

“what is it?” said the commander

“its a power stone. Anyways, where are the other monsters?” jake

“come with me.” said the commander

“no, I have no time for that! Africa and the middle east are in danger!” jake

“please, do come with us, so that we can assess the situation better and plan.” said the commander

“i have no time for this.” jake said before flying up. “And say to the president that its from jake burns, please do take care of it.”

Jake then flew towards the sky, heading westwards. Though he also grabs some food along the way, without paying before flying off again, since the owner recognize jake burns. He even gave him his signature before leaving the place. Meanwhile, as jake was doing all that, joy and and natasha was flying towards libya.

“i wonder how brother is doing?” joy

They were still somewhere north of niger, where joy was the only one who has a communication device with them.

“he will be fine, trust me. Anyways, is it really hot in here.” natasha

“yeah, I can relate.” joy

*ring*

“hello?” joy said answering her satellite phone

“hello miss joy, its general bruce here.”

“ah, the US general, what brings you to call me?”

“actually, im here to help you guys locate the monsters on the northern side of africa.”

“seriously?! that would be a great help!”

“yes, actually, you guys are already on top of the death worms location.”

“what?!”

Joy then suddenly stopped and saw a death worm nearby, ravaging nearby travellers, which natasha also stopped.

“ok, thanks. Gotta go now--” joy

Bruce cuts her off, “wait! According to our satellite feed, there seems to be more death worms than we initially thought!”

“what?!”

“yes, according to our satellite feed, they are about 10 in total, and counting. And thats all over the sahara desert.”

“wow, my brother really sent us to a challenging task.”

“he knows many things, but knowing the future isnt one. Anyways, the UN has already sent about 2 mutants towards libya, and will send you the coordinates to where you will rendezvous.”

“got it. Just call if you might need something from us.” joy said before cutting the line

“what did he say?” natasha

“general bruce just sent 2 mutants towards libya, and will send coordinates where we will rendezvous with them.” joy

“i see. For now, lets take care of this guy.” natasha said as they target the rampaging death worm just below them

The death worm was a giant worm with razor sharp teeth at its front, and without any eyes. They then descended towards the death worm and fought it, natasha with her laser blasts and joy holding the worm up, so that the worm wont get away and they could attack it at the same time.

“joy, there is no power stone on this thing!” natasha

“then how do this? By killing it?” joy

“im afraid thats the only solution.” natasha said as she still strikes laser blasts on the death worm

Then by striking laser blasts to the death worm, she was able to make holes in it, as joy was also struggling to keep the worm from going under, all until it was dead. After the worm died, joy then pulled the whole worm out of the sand, as it was as long as 2 football fields.

“wow, to think more of these things are around the sahara desert.” natasha
”anyways, lets just leave this thing here and go towards libya.” joy

“i will roger that.” joy said before she dropped the dead worm and flew

After a few more minutes, as they flew fast to meet with the rest, they then arrive at the outskirts of the town of al fuqaha, libya.

“hey joy! Nat! We have both been waiting for you.” james wicked, a mutant, spanish representative, said to them

There were now at the center of libya, where there was all rock all around, where james and the others got there through a jeep

"Hello my friends, long time no see." Kiara mubarak, a mutant, egyptian representative, said to them

"It has been that long huh." Joy said as they descend towards the ground, in front of the others

"Anyways, do you guys know how to track the death worm?" Natasha

"Nope, we dont. I had hoped that you know how." james said with a gesture, as the others agree

"Hahh.. just how do they expect for us to track down the boss?" Kiara

"Dont worry, they probably will come to us." Joy

"Why?" Kiara

"Because we just killed one of them." Natasha

In that instant, an earthquake was felt under them.

"Oh boy." Joy

"Spread out! Now!" Natasha said immediately

As joy and natasha hovered above, the other two got as far as possible using their powers. Then from the ground came a death worm of the same size as before, before death worms of many numbers came.

"This is it guys, attack!" Natasha said as they all attack

With that, they all the attacked the death worms, which were many in number. Joy with her teleketic blasts to pierce through, natasha with her laser blasts to punch holes, james with sonic blasts to pierce through, and kiara with her sand control to kill and pierce through the death worms. They all do this until they were all but tired, and every last one was killed.

"Whew! That was very tiring." Joy

They were now sitting at the ground, all 4 of them.

"Welcome to our life joy, battling monsters and protecting our country is what we do for a living." James

"We heard that with your presence in the philippines, there are lesser crimes and terrorists." Kiara

"Thanks for the compliment guys." Joy

"Arent we also forgetting something?" Natasha

In that instant, the ground shook once more, and they all stood up. Then as they all flew up for safety, the queen death worm appeared from the ground where they were, which it was 5 times bigger than the last few ones.

"Look! I found the stone!" Kiara said as she pointed at the shining stone on the worms forehead

"Quick joy! Before it escapes!" Natasha said as joy agrees

"You can get us down from here, we can take care of ourselves from here." James said as kiara agrees and as the worm screeches

"Alright then." Natasha said as they let go of the two

But then, the death worm charged towards the two, but kiara was able to create a foot hold with sand just for the 2 of them, and james shoots out a sonic blast towards the death worm and pushing it back.

"Now joy!" Natasha said as she also attacks the death worm

Joy then lifted the whole death worm from the ground, with all her power, to hover right above the ground as they attack the worm. As they attacked the worm, it was also as long at about 4 football fields.

"Nat! I cant hold this worm for much longer!" Joy said as she struggles lifting it

Natasha agreed and goes towards the power stone, which she then gouges out, along with overloading it with energy. Then after a few seconds, she was able to pull out the power stone as blood gushes out of the hole from the stone,before joy lets go of the whole worm.

"Is it dead?" Kiara said, looking at the blood covered worm, as it screeches faded slowly

"Yup, its dead." Natasha said, looking at the green power stone.

"So, what now?" James

"There is still the sphinx ravaging in egypt, hope you guys could help me with it." Kiara said as they agreed

"So its decided then, we all go east. Man i do need a shower." Natasha said as she sees her clothes covered in blood

"I can so relate with that right now, reminding me of the time i fought a banshee. Now that was a challenge." James

"You guys need to take a break?" Natasha

"We can still go one more round, no worries." James said as kiara agrees

"I dont really know how you guys can still go on. In fact, is this how my brother feels when facing monsters?" Joy

"Yup, we have been there, and asked that same question." James said as they agreed

"Enough talk, lets all go now. Joy, lead us east please." Natasha said woth a gesture

"Yeah, i know." Joy said, before she takes out her compass

They then head east, with joy leading them towards east.

"Gosh, this is gonna be a bit tricky." Jake said as he was stuck in a spiders web

He was now in the forest in cameroon.

"I go here because of reports of missing people in the jungle, but i am so stuck here. Hahh.." jake said as he was shouting

But then, after a few minutes of blabbering, the tsuchigumo finally got out of the trees, also due to the scent of blood on his shirt. The tsuchigumo was half man, half spider, whoch was at big as a 4 story building.

"It seems i got some visitor here. You know, no ordinary human would get themsleves trapped in the trees." The tsuchigumo said

"You have intelligence, i will give you that, though i have been tasked to defeat you in battle." Jake

"And how would you do that? While you are trapped in my own web?" The tsuchigumo said while going near him

"You are seriously underestimating me huh.. well, thats no surprise at all." Jake said as he easily burns the webs with his lightning. "I got caught on purpose, dont get me wrong."

"Scary.. alright, how about we make a deal, I let you go and i get to live. How does that sound?" The tsuchigumo said

"No. Since if memory serves, you eat people, so you must be put down." Jake said as he flies close to it

"But arent you scared of me?" The tsuchigumo said, now being a bit afraid

"You know what people call me? Im the monster hunter, and i slay monsters." Jake said as he touched its power stone

"Its been fun while it lasted, though there is no escaping from you isnt there?" The tsuchigumo said

"Yes, because i have the power of lightning with me." Jake

"And i trust you will take care of me as well, since the 4 sacred beasts also trust you. Along with other 2 sacred beasts i presume?" The tsuchigumo said referring to the stones on his body

"Yes. In any case, goodbye now tsuchigumo." Jake said before striking lightning and pulling out the power stone

In that instant, the tsuchigumo died and fell to the ground.

"Now to go back to the nearest town and give this stone to a military personnel, before i go to the next one." Jake said before he flew

Jake then goes towards the nearest town, where soldiers were stationed there, and gave the power stone. All before going to the next destination, where the soldiers point towards south east, towards the jungles of congo. Then he flies towards there, using his compass. After a few hours, he then arrived at the jungles of congo where Cipactli was resting.

"Now here is one wierd creature." Jake said as he descends towards its forehead.

The Cipactli was a giant crocodile the size of 5 football fields. But as he touches down, the Cipactli detected him and woke up, before it spins itself. Gladly, jake noticed this and flew again, before throwing lightning punches towards the monster. After a few lightning punches, the Cipactli was unconscious due to the lightning flowing through it.

"Now to take the power stone." Jake said before landing at the monsters forehead

Jake then overloaded the power stone, before pulling it out, and before flying towards the city of kinshasa. And after a few minutes of flying towards the big city, he located fenrir rampaging at the city from the distance. Fenrir is a gigantic wolf, which is also as big as a 2 story building, and with great speed and agility of many wolves.

"Now this is going to be a bit tricky." Jake said before he descends towards a military outpost

"Monster hunter!" One of the soldiers said

"Yes, and i need one of you to give this to your president." Jake said as he presents the power stone

"I will take it from here." Said the commander of the outpost as he walks towards jake. "Thank you. And if you could also take care of that other monster rampaging the city--"

Jake cuts him off, "consider it done. If you will excuse me, im in a bit of a hurry."

With a smile on his face, he then flew towards the city to wrestle with the fenrir. And as he got to the city, which was now like a ghost town with people hiding within the buildings, the fenrir was still eating when jake came in.

"Now, how to make this guy face me." Jake said before he decides to throw in 2 lightning punches towards fenrir

The wolf took the bait and attention was drawn to him, then the fight begins after fenrir brushes off the the electricity, as it charges towards him. In response to this, jake also runs at lightning speed towards fenrir and threw in more lightning punches at the giant wolf, and with some lightning strikes as well. He then threw many lightning kicks, strikes and punches at lightning speeds, all over the fenrirs body, so that it wouldnt have any time to react. He did this about many times and for many hours, until the fenrir was exhausted and numbed, so that jake could speedily get to the fenrirs forehead and get the stone. But as the fenrir was also very tough, the moment jake got to the stone and grabs it, it moved to stand up and fight the numbness.

"Oh no you dont!" Jake said before he roars and strikes many more lightning strikes to its body and to the power stone.

The fight was hectic and vicious, as jake finally managed to pull out the power stone from the fenrirs body, which eventually killed it and gushing out blood from its forehead.

"That was very tiring, hadnt had a decent work out in a while." Jake said as he stretches his limbs

Jake then flew towards the military outpost and gave the power stone to the commander once more.

"Cant you stay for a bit while longer? So that the president will recognize your efforts." The commander said while shaking hands

"No, i have to meet up with my team as soon as possible." Jake

"Alright then." That commander said

"Oh, and can you get me a new shirt? Mine is all drenched in sweat and monster blood." Jake

"Sure! It would be the least we could do." That commander said before ordering a soldier to get him some clothes

Meanwhile, with joy and the others, as they were now on cairo as all the events from jake were happening.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Kiara said with uncertainty

They were all now hovering the city of cairo where the sphinx was rampaging at the city itself, with its power to control sand storms and hurricanes. The sphinx is a a creature with a face of a man and the body of a lion, and with the size of a 4 story building. As both joy and natasha was flying naturally, james and kiara were hovering using sand.

"It will, trust me guys." Natasha

"Hahh.. i should have brought my new gear, it was suppose to help me with everything." James

"Dont worry james, we have each other." Joy said with a smile

"Anyways, we only have one chance at this." Natasha

"Yes, ready when you guys are." Joy

"Oh boy, shes totally like her brother." James said as joy and natasha flies off

James and kiara then goes down to the nearest rooftop, so that kiara can control all the sand against the sphinx, while james does a wide sonic blast to control all the sand. Joy then lifts the sphinx up, before natasha would attack it with her laser blast. But it was all in naught, as the sphinx was made out of sand itself.

“joy! Form a barrier around it! don’t let it escape!” natasha said

Joy agreed and formed a barrier before the sphinx could ever escape, with natasha inside the barrier also fighting the sphinx.

“what?! what is she doing?!” james

“shes doing what needs to be done.” kiara said before she flew towards the barrier

“you gonna leave me here?!” james said as he was being left behind. “it sucks not being able to fly.”

“joy, what can I do?” kiara said as she was close to the barrier

“just do your thing! Im even struggling to manage the barrier!” joy

“alright then, I will just do this my way.” kiara

Inside the barrier, natasha was also struggling against all the sand being made from its body, as she blasts laser blasts towards the sphinx. And as natasha got a glimpse of an opportunity, she flies towards the forehead of the sphinx, and finally was able to grasp the power stone in her hand. But as this was also a double edged sword, this also presented an opportunity to swallow her whole with sand. Though as she finally was able to grasp the power stone in her hand, she holds her breath and closed her eyes, as she overloads the power stone. She was then able to kill the sphinx and let it turn back into sand, as she also lies in that sand, unconscious.

“nat!” they both said before joy opens the upper half of the barrier

Kiara then hovers towards natasha as joy slowly descends to the ground, along with all the sand.

“what happened to her?!” james said as he ran towards them

“shes just unconscious, cause she might have used up all her power.” joy said as she puts down everything she is carrying with her barrier

“nat! Wake up nat!” kiara said as she tries to wake her up

“ugh.. I guess that was a little bit risky.” natasha said after coughing

“damn it! now how will we ever get to the next point in time?” james

*ring*

“hello?” joy said as she picked up her phone

“hello joy, how are things on your end?” jake

“bro, thank god!”

“what? What did I miss?”

“anyways, nat is down for now. She might have over used her powers and needs rest!”

“ok then, tell me which parts you still need to go and where, I will go there myself.”

“no, we got this. What about you bro? How are things on your end?”

“it was tricky, but all are good.”

“i see. You might be battling there nonstop, better rest for a while bro.”

“yes, I will do that. Though you guys must also rest.”

“we know bro. Anyways, nat is fine for now, please do tell us if you might need us alright?”

“yes, I will. And who is there by the way?”

“james wicked and kiara mubarak, they are with us for the meantime.”

“alright then, have a good rest now joy. I will now continue towards the southern parts of africa.”

“you are already finished with the middle part of africa?!”

“yup. Haha.”

“dont haha me, please also think of us whose powers don’t even compare to you bro.”

“im not ridiculing you guys or something, its just my way of cheering up. Anyways, its clear that you are being hot headed now, so please rest.”

“yes, you may be right. Hahh.. I cant believe you do this in most times bro!”

“yeah, now you know.”

“and will natasha be alright bro?”

“yes. Give it a good nights rest, and she will be back in no time.”

“why is that again?”

“when she overuses her powers, her atoms tends to separate themselves slowly. But if she rests after overusing her powers, her atoms will slowly get back together.

“i see.”

“Well, thats all for now.”

“wait, lets all rendezvous at the event in nigeria when we saved africa, would that be ok bro?”

“yeah, sure.”

“alright then, see you there bro.” joy said before she cut the line

it was now also sunset, or 6pm when joy last viewed her watch.

“ugh..” jake said as he stretched

It was now early morning, where he was now staying at a hotel in kinshasa, in the democratic republic of congo.

“oh yeah, I still have some work to do, so better do this fast.” jake said as he gets up from his bed

He then takes a shower before going out of the hotel. As the hotel management approves of his stay, his stay was all free, including breakfast.

“mr jake burns, are you sure you are now alright?” said the waiter

“yes, im pretty much awake now and very charged up.” jake said as he was done eating breakfast

“well, wont the monsters be rampant also at night?” said the waiter

“nope, they all would still need to go to sleep, as they are also organisms in this planet. for as long as they are an organism of this universe, they will always obey its laws.” jake

“i see. So monsters also do sleep at night.” said the waiter

“anyways, please give the management my word of thanks.” jake said as he stands up

“will the monsters ever come back mr jake?” said the waiter

“nope, not anymore. Since their power stones, the source of their power and form, has been given to the proper authorities. So they would now properly take care of those stones being given to them.” jake said as he now walks towards the exit

“i hope your right about that.” said the waiter

Jake then exits the building and directly flew towards east, where it was reported that the next monster has appeared there. After a few hours later, he arrived at dodoma city, where vritra has just awoken from its slumber on top of a tall building. The vritra is an evil dragon which cant fly, has no wings at all, and is very gigantic in size, it is at least 4 football fields long in length. As it woke up, it then saw jake near it.

“bring it on lizard.” jake said with a gesture, provoking the vritra

As it was easily provoked, it them screams towards jake to intimidate him, before trying to attack him. Jake then threw a few lightning punches towards it before it was knocked unconscious, and fell from the building. As the vritra fell from the building, jake goes towards its forehead at lightning speed and struck lightning to it, causing it to overload and before pulling it out of the creature. As it was also a good thing that there was no one under that building, there were no casualties at all from the creatures fall.

“here, take this to your president.” jake said as he gave the power stone to a soldier.

"Thank you jake burns, i will take that to the president." Said the commanding officer

"Where else should i go?" Jake

"There is one monster in zambia, just south west of here. I can take you there if you want." Said the commanding officer

"No thanks, im a bit in a hurry, so i must be on my way. Please send the president my regards." Jake said before he flew towards zambia with the use of his compass.

After a few hours, he arrived at kasama, zambia, where he saw a typhon ravaging over the city. The typhon was as tall as 5 story building and was half man, half snake, which can also fly. Jake then goes towards the typhon.

"Do you speak?" Jake said as he knew of the legends of typhon

But he was only given the intimidation stare from the typhon, before it flew towards jake. Jake then made some lightning punches towards the typhons wings, which made big burning holes in it and crashed towards the ground. There at the ground, where jake also descended, the fight goes on as he then made a hole at its chest and fell down. As it was laying down and struggling, as it was also still regenerating itself, jake went towards its forehead and struck lightning, before pulling out the power stone. Jake the flew up to find any official that would take care of the stone and give it to the president, until ge found some snipers at some rooftop.

"Here, give this to your president." Jake said as he gave the stone, which was also covered in blood, like the other times he gave the stones.

"Thank you." Said the sniper

"And where is the next monster? And which direction is that place?" Jake

"Its in zimbabwe sir, and its right over there." Said the sniper who points to the south

"I see. Thanks!" Jake said before flying towards south

After a few hours again, he was able to reach the city of harare, zimbabwe. Where he found jormungander, a giant snake as big as a 4 story building and as long as 5 football fields, ravaging the city and eating people in it. The military was also firing at the giant snake with all they got, but just couldnt get a scratch on it. He tried hitting it with a lightning punch, only to know that its scales are seriously tough, which made the snake notice him. So jake just went towards its forehead at lightning speed, before it could even attack, and struck lightning before pulling out the power stone, before the giant snake fell down. Then he finds the military down below, now on standby, which he then gave the stone to before flying again.

"The soldier said there was another monster in angola, which is slightly north and westwards from where i was." Jake said as he was flying. "Man my eyes hurt a bit from all the wind, should have brought my goggles."

After a few more hours, he finally arrives in menongue, angola, where the ammit was wreaking havoc on the city. The ammit is a creature, which has a lions body and the head of a crocodile, and is as big as a 2 story building. It was destroying buildings with its tremendous strength, and eating people on the streets, as jake arrived at the place. The military was also dispatched there, but all its canons and bullets were useless against the thick skin on its face. Jake then threw lightning punches at the ammit, but it stands unfazed, as its mane absorbs lightning.

"Damn, no lightning then." Jake said before pulling tr ammits tail so that it can stop

But it was no use stopping it due to its tremendous strength

"Dah! To hell with stopping it!" Jake said before flying once more towards its forehead

As the ammit has the head of a crocodile, the power stone was easy to spot, if it werent for the military always firing at the ammits face. As the ammit has a lions body, it was also agile. So jake had to use lightning speed to get towards the forehead, before manually pulling it out with his bear hands, and to fly a bit before striking some lightning towards the power stone, which made the ammit fall down.

"Thank you jake burns, we just couldnt land a solid hit on that thing." The commander said

"No problem.. whew! I really need a break for a while." Jake said as he wiped off his sweat

"If you dont mind, you can eat with us if you like." The commander said

"Sure! I dont mind at all. I was getting a bit hungry by the way." Jake said as he follows the commander

"And a shower too. Boy, you do smell like blood." The commander said

"Yeah, i know." Jake

Meanwhile, back with natasha and the team..

“ugh..” natasha said as she stretches

It was now morning, where they were now staying at a hotel in cairo, with the girls separate from the boys.

“wake up guys! Its time now to work!” natasha said as she tries to wake the girls up

“are you ok now nat?" Joy said as they wake up

"Yes, thanks to the amount of rest i had." Natasha said with a smile

"Time for a shower then." Kiara said as she stretches

"I go first, cause boy, i do smell like blood." Natasha said as she stood up and walked towards the showers.

After their shower, which james also paid a visit to the ladies as he finished bathing, they then listen to the news on TV.

"Now we have CNN breaking news. It seems that jake burns and his team are in the country of africa right now, taking care of of the emerging monster problem, ever since yesterday, africa local time. Here is a live report from jack percy, deporting at ethiopia. Jack, what news do we have?" The anchor said

"Here in ethiopia, im currently behind the carcass of the minukawa, as jake took care of it yesterday. Ever since its unknown emergence, the monster crisis in africa has been steadily taken care of by jake and his team. Though jake preferred to be by himself, he really took care of the problem one by one! While his team separated from him to fight off at the northern part of africa. As there are yet many questions to ask, we will hold of any assumptions as for now. Though as his team has been busy with the death worm in the sahara desert, and the sphinx in cairo, jake burns has been taking care of many monsters in the middle part of africa. Back to you."

"Its no surprise, he is the monster hunter after all." Natasha said while sitting on the bed

They were all now sitting on the each bed, while watching the news on TV.

"Yeah, my brother really has become so powerful." Joy

"I wish my powers would have been lightning, since being lightning itself has so much uses, unlike sound control." James

"Dont say that james, we work with what we have, thats how life works right?" Natasha

"Besides, brother did say that if without his mutant power of regeneration, he wouldnt be able to withstand the full force of his own lightning." Joy

"Yes, he did say that." James

"And he also has the trust of the sacred beasts, which practicaly makes him a god like human now, with some of their powers flowing through his veins." Natasha

"Whoa.. really?!" Kiara said as she got out of the shower

"Yes." Natasha

"But brother says that he dont usually use their powers, only in planet changing situations like with aliens, will he use those powers." Joy

"Seriously?!" James and kiara said

"Well, he did say before that he count light up a continent with his lightning." Natasha

"Anyways, lets all eat breakfast before going to work." Joy said as she stood

"Agreed. Talking something about him would only lead to distrust on our master." Natasha said as they all agreed

They then got downstairs and ate their breakfast, before going outside the hotel they were staying at for free.

"James, whats the gear for?" Kiara said, as it also got the attention of others

James had a gear which were tied to both his arms and feet, which also has a power pack at his back, that also transmits sound waves towards the woofers on his feet and arms.

"Its my gear. With this, i can totally fly alongside you guys." James said as he was adjusting his wrist gear

"I see. But how did it get here so quickly?" Natasha

"Seriously? You had it made for you?!" Joy

"Yes, i had it made specially for me. Also, this was delivered through express delivery." James

"I see. Though do brace yourselves guys, cause our next fight is with cerberus, according to eye witness accounts." Joy said as she sees the text message sent to her

"Yeah, i also got that text." Kiara said, showing her phone

"Anyways, whats its powers?" Natasha

"It has heightened speed, strength, and it breathes blue fire." Joy

"And can that fire be put out?" Kiara

"Yes. It also says that the fire can be put out by water." Joy

"I see. I now know what we should do then guys." Natasha said, before explaining her plan with the team
