Chapter 2

“ya, im done with my interview.”

Jade was now doing an interview and being accompanied by josh, which was waiting at the waiting area of the office, without saying a single word as he listens or just messes with his phone.

“great! So, what did they say?” josh

“you were with me the whole time right? At the office.” jade said as she was standing

“yes, but I didn’t listen.” josh said as he smiled

“hahh.. they denied my application.”

“its alright jade, even if this might be the last stop that we have, they might eventually give you another chance.”

“they might? They already denied me you know! And its all because--”

“of me, I know. If I hadnt accepted that case to begin with.”

“yes, that. Though lets not dwell in the past.”

“ok then, im hungry, can we get lunch?”

“sure.”

As they agreed to eat, they then ate at the nearest small time restaurant for ordinary people, or what is called a karinderia.

“so, what will you do now jade?” josh said as he was eating

“if any school wont accept me, even if it was due to the incident, I will just search for a job here in cebu.”

“alright then, do you need an escort for that?”

“nope, im good.”

“though due to that very incident, even if its not my place to say this, I would highly recommend for you to go home and guard our parents.”

“there is no way im going home just yet ya, I set out to be independent so that I can make our parents proud!”

“yes, I know. I was that way too when I started my job, so that they wouldnt worry on me, but look at what happened. Hahh.. if only we can turn back time.”

“with all your god given gifts, you cant?”

“yes, I cant. Even if god give gifts for humanity, there are still limits to what and how much god will give.”

“i see. So after all this, you will now go back home?”

“yes, I will. Though I have another bad feeling. Remember what I told you about my premonition?”

“yes, that its random. Why?”

“i just saw a sniper trying to snipe me.” josh said as he looks at the buildings around

To their surprise, there was a bullet that bounced off from josh, like hes being protected with some kind of force field. With that shot, everyone in the area was alerted of a gunshot from afar and immediately dispursed.

“to think that you were spot on ya!” jade said as she immediately hides behind josh

“i think the sniper maybe gone now.” josh

“may I sue my words of power?”

“sure. Remember, your effective range for your powers is--”

“yeah, I know. About a kilometer away, but I will try anyways.” jade said before she stood up. “words of power, sniper, die.”

“whoa, your merciless.”

“those who dare threaten lives deserves no mercy at all ya. You know that, as the carrier of “world order””.

“i get it. For now, please stay close to me so that I can use my “shield” on us.”

As jade agreed, they then went back to the hotel, where the press was waiting for josh. As they went inside the hotel lobby, the press all goes towards him.

“josh mavric! Can we have a word with you?”

“is it true that you have powers?”

“is it true that you went inside the burning building unscathed?”

“is it true that you went alone to subdue a druglord?

“whoa, I wont take any questions, at all.” josh said as he pulled jade towards the information

Jade was also confused on what to answer by the time the press all pressed on them for answers.

“can I have my key now?” josh said to the receptionist

As the receptionist saw that josh was bringing with him the mass media, she just runs and hides at the back.

“guard! Can you do something about the media! I really don’t want them here!” josh shouted at the guard

The guard just stood there and unable to do anything with the crowd of mass media that is around josh and jade.

“thats it! Can I use it on them brother?!”

“no, there is always a way for them to go away.”

For a second, josh leaves jade to get a couch.

“get out of here now! Or else I will throw this on all of you!” josh said, lifting the couch

With his build, he was believed to be strong, thus the mass media obeys josh and steps aside.

“dude, we are just doing our jobs here!” they said as they protested

“and im doing my job of protecting my family from any harm! Now get out!”

With that threat, they just go out of his way and exits the lobby.

“whew! Thats the end of them.” josh said as he slowly returns the couch to the floor

“and the key to our room please.” jade finally said to the receptionist who just returned
”im so very sorry about that maam and sir! I was just getting out of trouble.” the receptionist said

“no worries, we can understand.” josh said as jade gets the key to their room

With that, they were able to go back to their room.

“so, do you still want to work here?” josh said as he sat on his bed pulling his shoes out

“maybe not, though give me some time to think ya.”

“sure, no worries.” josh said with a smile towards jade

"and shall we watch a movie or something?”

“well, its best to just stay here. Though whats new in the theater today?” josh

After they went to the movies and ate out, they came back just in time for the evening news where it shows josh maybe going on a rampage after the media gang up on his sister.

“i hope you will be well there, and im very sorry it went like this.” wesley

They were now at the airport after jade finally decides to just go home, so that they can just protect their family.

“no worries, it wasn’t entirely your fault.” josh

“be glad that my brother forgives you, I sure am not.” jade

“once again, im very sorry.” wesley

“anyways, I will also report all of what happened to sir espin, so it will depend on him if he will also forgive you.” josh

“well, we have to go, our flight is almost coming up.” jade said as she goes inside first

“take care.” josh said with a handshake to wesley

After their handshake, josh then goes towards the entrance of the airport to follow the flight boarding process inside, before boarding the flight back to tanghub.

“man, what a ride it has been.” jade said as she was relaxing on her chair

“yeah, you said it.” josh said as he was doing the same

As the ride is for one hour, josh just meditated while jade was reading a magazine for the whole trip. But as the flight now seemed a bit of a long time now, josh also notices some bumping from his back, and checked that it was now 30 minutes from when they departed from cebu.

"Jade, are you hurt?" Josh saying to jade and noticed that she already have stab wounds on her back

Josh then stood up to find to dead men at the back of their seat, with their mouths having some foam in it.

"Damn it!" Josh said before he went back to his seat and used "heal" to accelerate the healing factor of any person

As the flight attendant went to them, she screamed as she saw the 2 dead people at the back, and also saw josh healing jade by grabbing her arm.

"Miss! I need this craft to land! Now!" Josh said as he saw the flight attendant scream

"S-sorry, i gotta go." The flight attendant said as she goes towards her coworkers

"Tch!" Josh can only curse as he could now only heal jades wounds

But then, josh notices from the windows that the plane is slowly going down, and without any notice at all. Reluctant, he checks jades back to see if the back is now having blood clot, before going towards the front of the plane.

"Excuse me, can i talk with the captain?" Josh said as he got to the flight attendants at the front

No one said anything to josh.

"Tch!"

Josh then helped himself to open the door for the cockpit, while the flight attendants then stood up. But as josh opened the door, gunshots were heard from the cockpit and as some bullets bounced off of josh.

"With my power, i order you to stop!" Josh said before the flight attendants all caught up to josh

As the plane was also shaking at the same time due to turbulance, the flight attendants had a hard time getting to josh. But all was too late, as josh orders everyone within a selected radius to stop, the captain was already shot while the vice captain just killed himself in front of josh.

"Damn it!" Josh said before he goes to the flight attendants. "Release"

With that command, they were then released from the "words of power".

"Sir! I suggest for--"

"Look at the pilots! We have no pilots! Follow my orders if you dont want to die!" Josh shouted before he goes towards the hatch of the plane

"Sir, what are you going to do?" A flight attendant said to josh

As another one of them saw the pilots, she screamed for what she saw, before fainting. The others quickly catches on and stayed quiet.

"What should we do?" Finally said one of them, deriving a quick decision from everything

"You, open this hatch. The rest, ready the passengers for crash procedures!" Josh said as he stood by the hatch

"B-but if you do that, you will--"

"No worries, i can do this. Trust me if you dont want to die." Josh said with a serious face

As they eventually agree, the rest of the flight attendants all go towards the passengers to warn them of a crash, while the leader of the attendants goes to the hatch.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Im sure." Josh said as he hangs on to one of the handles

"Here goes nothing."

As the flight attendant opens the hatch, she then holds the empty seat after she full opens the hatch. As they are now some distance below any planes flight height, air from the outside was not small. And as the hatch was now open, josh was suddenly being pulled slowly towards the outside, and flies towards the outside after a quick breath in and out. With "wind control", Josh then flies towards the bottom of the plane and eventually stopped the plane from falling towards the mountains. With that done, he just carried while finding an airport to land on as he goes straight forwards while using "farsight". As he eventually gets into tanghub airport while carrying the plane with him, he slowly descends and puts down the plane. All tired from the trip, he just lied down at the runway, where he also put the plane right near the arrival area.

"Hey sir, what happened?" Said a firefighter approaching josh

"Please tend to my sister, she needs medical attention." Josh said pointing towards the plane

"Yes, we are now tending to her right now. What about you?" The firefighter said as he offers his hand

"I think i would like to eat now, im seriously hungry." Josh said as he grabs the mans hand to stand up

"What happened here josh?" Espin said as he ran towards the scene

"You were here sir?" Josh said as the firefighter held his left arm to his shoulder

"Yes, i was waiting for you at the airport when i just heard about a plane and a man coming down from the sky." Espin said as he got the other arm

"How is my sister?" Josh

"Shes fine now, shes being carried to a hospital as we speak."

"Good, cause i really need food and rest." Josh

With josh hanging on from being tired, and he ate 2 burgers along the way as espin drives him towards the hospital his sister was to be at, all while he explained to espin what happened at cebu and specially during their flight.

"So thats what happened." Espin said after they arrived at the hospital

"Yes." Josh said as he was being carried towards the waiting room for the ER

There at his seat, josh slept knowing that his sister is safe. And when he woke up, his mother was crying as his father was tanding to her.

"Mom? Dad? Your here?" Josh said as he woke up

"Josh! What the hell happened? Why is your sister at the ER? Your mom almost fainted when she heard about your sister being at the hospital!" His dad said as they approached him to hug him

"Before he explains, i offer my sincerest apologies for making them get involved in some heavy matters." Espin said at the side

"You should be sorry--!" His mom shouted

"No mom, all this isnt his fault. He didnt know it would lead to this." Josh said in his seat

"Why shouldnt it be his fault?! If only.." his dad said as he cried

"Mom, dad, do you wish for power to protect those around you?"

"No son, we are only glad you guys are safe." His mom said wiping her tears

"Anyways, what really did happen there?" His dad said

"This is going to be a long story, so you should all sit." Josh said before telling all of them what really happened there at cebu

As josh was telling everything that has happened, all of them said nothing as they all paid attention to every detail to his story.

"So thats what happened." His mom said

"Son, i wont say anything to what happened, but i cant fathom what might have happened to you two if you will proceed with this case--" his dad said

"Dad, the case is already over. The ones who are after us are people who mostly wants me dead, so there is only one thing i can do now." Josh

"What is that?" Espin said as they all asked

"Since im a wanted man for those who dont want themselves to be found out, there is only one thing left to do, and thats to avenge my sister by locking those people up in jail." Josh said as he stood

"No son, we cant afford to lose you, when jade is almost lost to us!" His dad said as his mom stood up go stop josh

"Dont go son." His mom said

"No, the attacks wont stop, i promise you this. If i dont bring the culprits down, there will be no end to the cycle of attacks." Josh

"Is that your premonition son?" His dad said as espin closely listens

"Yes, it is." Josh said as he walks away while he released his mom from stopping him

"When will you come back?" Espin

"I will come back when im finished with matters there." Josh

"Where?" Espin

"You wont like it when you will hear it." Josh said while gesturing goodbye

Once he was now outside the hospital, his dad also went to him.

"Son, wait, i still have something to say."

"Dont worry dad, i will come back." Josh

"Good luck son." His dad said before josh flies away towards manila.

"So, where is malacanang building?" Josh said as he was now at the roof of a building

Josh was now searching in the internet where to find the malacanang building.

"Alright, now that thats done, time to eat." He said before flying towards the suburbs of manila so that he can safely land where no one is looking.

After he safely landed to an empty street, where a taxi coincidentally came across him, he took the taxi towards the nearest mcdonalds to buy food, all before he goes towards malacanang in another taxi. But after arriving at the malacanang palace, he turns off his phone first before going inside using "words of power", and "illusion" to conceal himself among the crowd once inside the palace. And when he got inside, he saw a hallway which is heavily guarded.

"Are you sure you want to go on with this?" The souls inside the palace said to josh

"Yes, and i intend for the president to know as well." Josh said before he goes towards the room further in the hallway.

"Sleep for a minute." Josh said to the guards who are guarding the door

With that order, they slept for a minute, and josh was able to enter the room for that minute without anyone able to notice.

"Who are you? And What are you doing here?!" The president said as he noticed josh from the front door

"Excuse me sir, but im seeking help for a certain problem i have. Would you be able to hear me out?" Josh said as he walks towards the chair

"Like i said, who are you? Name yourself first before your business here?"

"Im josh mavric, and my business with you is your help in getting all the druglords in our country." Josh

"Josh mavric, so your that josh mavric that they are always talking about."

"And what do they say about me?"

"That your a menace and a terrorist, and you side with drug lords, and you have powers. Now the last part is crazy, but i believe them."

"Why? When innocent lives were almost sacrificed to bring me down."

"What?! Your lying!"

"If you will excuse me, i will also check if your lying." Josh said before he does something again. "Whip of justice!"

With the whip of justice, once the invisible whip clings to a person, the person can never tell a lie.

"What is this feeling that im being tied up? Unhand me right now!" The president said after he was being tied to the chair by the invisible whip

"Do you mean all that you said to me?" Josh

"Of course i do! I wouldnt be president if not! Now unhand-- what did i just say?" The president said as he realized what he was saying

"Do you realize anyones plan to take me down? Along with a plane filled with innocent passengers on board." Josh

"No, of course not. In fact, i dont know anyones plans to take you down!" The president said as he struggles to not speak

"Are you a druglord?"

"No im not! How can i be in this business when im part of them?"

"Very well, i believe you." Josh said before unbinding the whip from the president

"Wait, what? You believe me? You forced some kind of power on me!"

"Yes, its called the whip of justice. A person can only speak truth when the whip is around them." Josh said when he disables his ability

"So its true, that you have powers." The president said as he calmed down due to surprise

"Yes mr president, and that is what they fear the most." Josh

"They? Whos they?"

"Your enemies are my enemies now mr president. Please listen to my report now." Josh

"Alright, you have gathered my interest, please make it worth while."

Josh then reports everything that has happened to him, from the time he worked as a call center agent, to the present where the plane from crashing to the mountains.

"First of all, why are you telling me your story as well?"

"Its for you to better understand what i may have been through. Anyways, what do you think we should do now?" Josh

"Are you fine with being on TV?" The president said as josh was surprised

After some time explaining the plan, josh agrees to it and the president immediately calls for an emergency press conference, along with calling all of congress.

"Good morning my fellow citizens, its i your president, richard dutuer. I will now be discussing with you some matters that need important actions, which will deeply affect our country right now. And for this, i bring to you, josh mavric!" Dutuer said as he presented josh to the public. "He is the hero of the terrorist attack on tanghub, he is the hero who brought the gutierez family to justice, and hes the hero who just saved a plane from crashing! He is josh mavric! A filipino hero. And what we will be doing here today will be, to smoke out possible drug lords which are hiding within the ranks."

"Mr president, just how do you intend to smoke out the drug lords?" Said a reporter

"Easy, we have josh here to take care of that." Dutuer said as he touched the shoulder of josh

With that, some of the military generals were gulping from the facts that they know of, and were also hesitant to act as the president might suspect them.

"Sir, who do i start with?" Josh said facing the line filled with the military and the congress

"Lets start with the highest, with the vice president himself." Dutuer

Josh then starts from the highest in power, until it was the senators turn, and to the military. And as josh started from the highest, not one dare claims they are a drug lord.

"Next would be the congress. Senators, line up." Dutuer

As the senators line up, they could only laugh at what josh will do. Since they initially saw what he did with the previous ones.

"Whip of justice!" Josh said as he tied the senator like with an invisible rope.

"Wh-whats this? It feels like i have been tied up!" The senator said

"Answer me, are you a drug lord?! Or do you just provide drugs?" Josh said towards the senator

"Y-yes, i do provide drugs, but i say im not a drug lord! I swear am not!"

As the senator confessed and struggled against the situation, the other senators wiped away their smiles and laughter from the face of desparaty that that senator was displaying.

"What ecidence can you provide that you are providing drugs?" Josh

"We always have confidential meetings using video conferences and use code words. We always have code words for every transaction! You happy now? Please unbind me. Please not in front of the public." The senator said who is now crying and begging for mercy

"Who are your clients and suppliers?" Dutuer

"At this point, its useless to resist. So better answer what he asked." Josh

"The chinese triad, mafia, and many others that i cant remember! I already got many clients as well as suppliers local and abroad! You can find all of it on my phone!"

With the events tangling, the media all went quiet as they listen and the cameras all live, transmitting throughout the country.

"Good. Who among them are with you? Are you the one who planned to kill me along with all the innocent passengers on that plane?" Josh

"I dont know what your talking about, but i can point out others in here who are involved with me."

"Who? Point them out." Dutuer said narrowing his eyes in disgust

The senator then points out all the others in congress who are with him in the drug trade.

"Officers, arrest them!" Dutuer said towards the police standing by

"Wait, we have to question them also right?" Josh

"No need, since your whip of justice is true as it gets, they are as good as arrested." Dutuer

"I see." Josh said before he disables his ability.

"Now, for the generals, i will ask you the same questions he asked the congress. If your all telling the truth, then i trust you. Though you can never escape his whip of justice." Dutuer said complimenting josh

All the generals didnt say anything at all, aside from the sweating and gulping.

"Josh, if you please." Dutuer

Josh then questioned them one by one with his ability and all of them were clear, all except one more.

"Its now your turn, general tahal, if you have to say anything, say it now." Dutuer

With all eyes now on the general, and the pressure building up, he finally led himself to take a hostage from the seats and drew his gun.

"No one dares to arrest me, or else this woman is dead!"

This left everyone at a surprise where they all stepped back from the general, all except josh, which was walking towards the general.

"So it was you who ordered to hurt my sister." Josh said as he walked

"Stay away from me monster! Or i will shoot her!" The general said threatening him. "Im warning you!"

"Try me." Josh said with a smirk

With all the pressure from overthinking, the general then shoots the reporter, only to find that the bullet was floating in the middle as there was a distance from the gun and the head.

"Do you know whats strange about my powers, is that its being limited by the souls of the ancients. And those souls of the ancients say to not kill you, since you are not even worth it." Josh said as the still rotating bullet is redirecting towards the general

"Hey! Now is the time to apprehend him!" Dutuer

they then directly apprehended the general under orders

"Uhh, the funny thing about my "telekenisis" is that i can control any object, but cant stop it from moving. So if you guys would step aside." Josh said before the people at the side all made way for the bullet

As the bullet went towards the wall, it made a dent in it, as dutuer also made an arrest along with damage to public property towards the general. But before the general was charged with such cases, he was also questioned by the president using josh ability, and found that he was the one responsible for giving orders to their spies for the crime.

"So thats it guys, this is just a public announcement for those who messes with our hero, josh mavric. And to those who will do harm to this country, our hero will also be of service to the nation, by also getting rid of the communists. Is that right josh?" Dutuer

"Well, i gotta see the order of the philippines first before i accept." Josh

"What do you mean by order?"

"As i also have the soul of death within me, i can ser the "world order", which indicates the balance between light and darkness." Josh

"I see. So what will it be?" Dutuer

"Ah, excuse me, but we are all confused. How did you end up with such power and is that power present among all of us?" A reporter said

"Good question. If you can answer that please my boy." Dutuer

"Alright then." Josh said as he goes towards the mic. "All of us have what we call souls. And during our lifetime, we are all touched by another soul. And this soul is what i mean as either a regular soul or a heroes soul. Althou the information about souls, how to get them from inside one and how to use such power is confidential, i will tell you all with one example. My soul is touched and accepted by the soul of death, as such, i can draw out a portion of my own souls power with death regulating it inside my own soul."

Josh then exits towards the side to meditate, and left the crowd hanging

"Maybe thats all that he will give us. Anyways, we will have his answer in--" dutuer said as he takes over

"I got my answer mr president." Josh said

"O-oh! So you will accept my offer then?" Dutuer said happily

"Yes, as the order still tips towards the evil." Josh

"I see. And you will need a team with you, am i right?" Dutuer

"Although the tiping of the scales is with evil, it only requires a little more before the scales tip towards good. So maybe i wont annhialate the communist rebels." josh said with a smile

“wait, did you say annhialate? Nevermind. Maybe you of all people can do that.” dutuer said to josh before facing the media. “do you guys have anymore questions aside from questions for josh?”

A few days later, after josh came back from the malacanang palace, he finally have the rest that he needed and the peace that he had before, all except..

“hi jade! How are you feeling?” josh said as he brought fruits

He and his mom was at the hospital where jade is being treated for her injuries.

“just fine, thanks to you. you are really a life saver ya, and I cant thank you enough” jade

“dont worry about it, your my sister. So you deserve better from me.” josh said with a smile as he placed the fruits on the table

“the doctors couldn’t even believe on what you just did, since you basically sealed all internal and external injuries that all they had to do was just seal them all properly with stitching.” eva said as she sat on the chair

“thats my healing ability mom, it just basically uses the bodys healing capabilities to its fullest potential. In return, it uses up all of the bodys energy.” josh said as he sat beside his mom

“where is dad?” jade

“oh, you know him. He really wants to come but we still have to get money for your hospital payments.” eva

“even though there was a big donation from the government?” jade

“yes, he also has his pride as a father.” eva

“anyways, I saw the replay of what happened at the malacanang, did the president say anything to you?” jade

“im also worried about that, since he kept pestering josh about his proposal. So, what about him josh?” eva

“well, I still declined his proposals as usual.” josh

“what are his proposals anyways?” jade

“one is to make me join the army, another the police, or to be a detective, and many more. I just said to all of them that I value my life, thus I wont accept any of those proposals, even if the government shall help me with it.” josh

“did you ask anything else in return then?” jade

“nope, I just accepted the bounty that the president gave me and deposited it in my savings account.” josh

“how much was that?” jade

“about 8.5 million pesos, aside from the bills for your hospitalization.” eva

“wow! Ya! We are rich!” jade said as she tried to sit straight. “ouch”

“easy there jade! Your not completely healed yet you know.” eva said as she stood up and walked towards jade

“yes, moms right jade. You must rest easy for now. Though from my experience with my own life, I think my current situation now would be sufficient for me.” josh said with a smile

“ya, its money you know! We could be rich! Whats more if you help the president with the terrorist problem in the country!” jade

“like I said jade, I don’t care about all that fame. I just want to live an easy life, even if I will be surrounded with enemies in the near future.” josh

“what do you mean by that?” jade

“as the wielder of the fragment of deaths soul, its my responsibility in the realm of the living to bring balance to the world, even though it may be like an impossible dream. Which is why I want to live easy from now on.” josh

“did you see all this from your premonition?” jade

“like I told you with my story before that the gods said to me that I may make many enemies in the future, and it may be an impossible dream to balance the world of both good and evil, but you should do as you want and need to do.” josh

“yes, I remember. Hahh.. if only you could use all that money for something.” jade

“dont worry, I have a plan, though it might also touch dads pride if I will do it now. So I will wait until he will give me the rights to the store.” josh

“i see.” jade

“which is also why I also activated mom and dads soul reactors, so that they wont become too dependent of you.” josh

“wait, what? You also activated their soul reactors? Does this mean that--” jade

“yes, they also achieve enlightenment and received their powers, though they will be a bit dependent on you.” josh

“wow, and what do you mean by they will still be dependent on me? How about you?” jade

“well, there will be times that I might have to go from place to place, so I will leave our parents to you.” josh

“why is that? Cant you just accompany us along with your travels?” jade

“i have already explained everything to mom and dad, and they consented. As to why they will still depend on you, is that they couldn’t abandon majority of the catholic ways and practices.” josh

“yes, I know that. But why wont you bring us along in your travels?” jade

“its going to be quite the adventure for me, and I don’t know if you guys can keep up with just one soul in your soul reactor.” josh

“what do you mean? Cant the soul reactor contain more souls just like a battery?” jade said as the thought didn’t occur to eva

“yes, why cant we josh?” eva

“only because you have to be accepted by the souls of such heroes and let them give a fraction of their soul to you. And thats the problem, how can you make contact with such a soul when you don’t know where they are right now?” josh
”I see.” eva and jade both thought about what was said and it made sense, that they cant bring themselves to reply

“anyways, we have to go back to dad.” josh said as he stood

After they all said their goodbyes, they then left the room. But as they left the room, and walked down the hallway, many people were distancing themselves from josh and making murmurs out of fear. Until when they were about to exit the hospital, a man approached them.

“wait! Are you josh mavric?” the man said as he stopped them by the exit

“yes he is, why you ask?” eva

“please save my daughter, shes the only one I have got left.” the man said before he cries. “your the only one left that may be able to save her.”

“uhh.. why do you ask for him? There are many other talented people around if your talking about life threatening conditions.” eva

“i have heard you have practically almost completely healed your sister, and that rumor also went to me as well.”

“i see. And your name is?” josh

“oh, where are my manners. my name is fujisawa yamamoto. You can call me fuji if you want.” he said as he brought out his calling card. “sorry, my habit. You cant understand japanese right?”

“yes, though why does a japanese man came here? Doesnt japan have many professional doctors there?” eva

“you see, my daughter is still 6 years old, and shes got an unknown disease. Its a totally separate and isolated case, thats maybe carried through her genes as the doctors said. Once I saw you on the news, I thought that this man can make wonders, so I had my daughter transfer at manila hospital.” fuji

“i see. So whats your decision on this josh? This wouldnt be a hard case to handle.” eva

“yes, but will you guys be fine without me there?” josh

“i will deal with your father. If you can save a life, then its worth it.” eva

“thanks mom.” josh said before he hugs eva. “but before I go, can I first pack my things?”

“sure, no problem. We will just be there for one night only anyways.” fuji

As they all agreed, josh first comes home to pack up for one night, before fuji and josh goes towards manila via private plane.

“i never thought that you would be a rich fellow fuji.” josh said as they arrived at manila airport

“no, im just borrowing this from a friend of mine. Anyways, my daughter is at manila hospital, lets go.” fuji said as he cant contain his excitement as well

As they arrived at the hospital, and goes inside the room of the patient, josh saw that the patient is still a young girl trying to breath with her oxygen on.

“you never said she was in a critical state.” josh said as he puts his bag down and walks towards the girl

“yes, she is now in a critical state after coming here. I knew it was a gamble, but I had to try.” fuji

“well, I think its alright to say that your daughter can be saved, though I don’t know if I can really help.” josh said looking at fuji
”please sir, your all I have got left.” fuji said when he was now on his knees

“whoa, wait a minute fuji, I maybe no miracle, but I may have a solution for her sickness.” josh said as he rushed to fuji

“if thats true, please do help my daughter, please. Shes all I got.” fuji said as josh made him stand

“alright, I will do this. But I also want you to do something for me.” josh

“what is it? Anything.” fuji said as like he found a glimmer of hope

“uhh.. can you also bring me lunch? Cause I will probably starve for this.” josh

“sure! Thats no problem at all! What you want?” fuji

“how about 2 burgers and 2 large fries.” josh

“right away, I will be back soon!” fuji said as he goes outside to buy lunch

“now then, shall I start with your treatment?” josh said as he walks towards the patient

For the treatment of the mysterious illness, josh used his “heal” ability as well as his “organic control”, which such ability is used to control any organic lifeform that he touches. With his healing ability, he made the body to heal itself. While with organic control, he reprogrammed any viruses inside her body to eat any virus of its kind, until its the only one left and the immune system will kick in.

“im back!” fuji said as he arrived about an hour later carrying mcdonalds

Fuji then saw that josh was concentrating on healing his daughter, and just sat at the side.
”whew! Im done for now.” josh said as he wiped his sweat off

“good work josh, I hope it goes well.” fuji

“yes, I just reprogrammed the viruses inside her body to eat itself as her body also heals from the ordeal.” josh said as he sat beside fuji

“you can do that?! I didn’t even expect you could.” fuji

“your asking me for help right? So I just used my powers to cure your daughter.”

“really? I thought that with your help, I can contact the gods or something. Thank you.” fuji said as he was crying again

“its a no problem for me fuji, just let me eat now, im starving.” josh said as he reaches for the food

“oh, sorry. Please do help yourself.” fuji said to the starving josh before he goes towards his daughter

After a few seconds of eating lunch, with josh eating burger and fries while fuji was right beside his daughter, her daughter woke up for the first time in a while speaking japanese. As the daughter woke up and spoke, fuji couldn’t control his tears and spoke japanese as well.
