Chapter 4

“hahh.. so im back.. in tokyo.” josh

He was now at narita international airport for his first mission, where he was greeted by a guy in black at the entrance, and drove towards the emperors mansion.

“welcome to my house mr josh mavric, I am the current emperor of japan, maruhito fujisaki.” the emperor said

They were now at the dining table where the family is now gathered, and josh bowed in response to maruhito.

“im miku fujisaki, maruhitos wife. And this is sara fujisaki, my daughter.” miku said before facing her beautiful daughter who also bowed, which the daughter was on her 20s.

“well, just for formality, im josh mavric. I came from the philippines and due to circumstances, I became what I call a soul warrior.” josh said as he bowed again

“well, lets not have the food get cold, Lets now eat.” maruhito said

As they said “itadakimasu”, josh also said it, which surprised them

“so you know your manners, thats good.” miku

“yes, im an anime otaku, which is basically the carefree type of otaku. Anyways, I read that my mission is just to protect sara, is that right?” josh

“yes, as her body guard. Say, I have also been hearing rumors about you. They say that you have powers and you can talk to the dead?” maruhito

“yes, I can talk with souls. But as for the powers, its a trade secret. Though rest assured, I will protect your daughter with all that I can.” josh

“thats assuring enough. But where are your weapons?” maruhito

“they are at my bag, for safe keeping, even though I know martial arts.” josh

“oh? You know martial arts? What kind?” miku

“its my personal martial art though, and I am self taught.” josh

“its a free style then. For me, I know kendo.” maruhito

“i know the basics of it too, even though I only watch anime.” josh said with gesture

“ah, I see.” maruhito said having the conversation turn to an awkward turn

“Anyways, since you can talk with souls and all, can you also do me a favor and do something about our daughters problem?” miku

“what problem?” josh

“she claims that she can see ghosts in this house, or when she goes to school. She usually keeps it to herself but she cant sleep well lately, always thinking about these things.” miku

“we have also gone to japanese shamans or onmyouji, and even they couldn’t find any solution for it. The doctors say that she has a bit of a mental, if you know what I mean--” maruhito

“dad, like I told you, im fine now. I have accepted the facts, and I can sleep now, even if its a little.” sara said as she interrupted

“dear, we are very concerned about you, so you should let us help you.” miku

“yes, your mother is right. You cant sleep that much right?” maruhito

“hahh.. alright, I get it. But mom, dad, I have already accepted my fate--” sara

“thanks for the food.” josh said as he just finished eating. “you sound like pretty given up on things sara, why?”

“im no obligation to answer you, your just a body guard.” sara said with gesture

“ouch, that hurt.” josh said with a gesture

“sara, hes our guest and your body guard, treat him well.” miku

“yes mom, I will.” sara

“so, can you answer his question then?” maruhito

“hahh.. fine.” she reluctantly said before facing josh. “because no one can help me with this, so I must accept my fate. You happy now?”

“well, what if I say that I can help you with that? Would you give me a chance?” josh said as both her parents feels hopeful

“what if you will fail, like all others? You will just give us false hope then?” sara

“nope, im simply telling you the truth. I mean, what merit would I have in just telling you lies?” josh said with confidence

“alright then, we will try with you.” maruhito

“dad! I don’t want to go through another session of disciplining and stuff! Or with the talismans in my room!--” sara

“sara, its for your own good.” maruhito

“i have had it!” sara said crying, as she goes up to her room

“maybe you guys should let me handle it.” josh

“even if its to help, I wont tolerate if anything will happen to my daughter.” maruhito warns

“yes, I promise I wont do anything to her.” josh said as he stood up

“promise us, alright? If something will happen, your wont just be kicked out of the country--” miku

“i know, I know. Just leave it all to me, maybe I can convince her.” josh

As both her parents agrees, he went up towards her door.

“sara, are you there?” josh said knocking at her door

“leave me alone!” sara

“i know how it feels.”

“you know? What do you know?!”

“i know, because I have been there. Or more exactly, I have been in a worse condition than you.”

“what condition?”

“let me tell you something about me. After my parents made me quit work, no, even when I was working, I was haunted by voices around me and inside my head. I always hear them around me everytime, but when an incident happened to me, the voices all stopped altogether. It turns out that I was a victim of mind control by the US military. But thanks to that, i was now able to take back control of my own life and made it more exciting, and I which also led me to meet you.” josh

“what crap is that? US military? I bet you just have some mental illness of your own.” sara

“hahh.. I will just ask, is this door locked? And are you now by the door?” josh said as he touches the door knob

“yes and yes. Why do you ask?” sara

“please step back for now, or step away from the door.” josh

“what will you do?” sara said as she heard her door lock being slowly opened from the inside. “just wait for a moment! Im not letting you in!”

“im not, im just demonstrating to you the proof of what I was saying.” josh

“that your story is real? Get real.” sara

“yes, its all true. As proof, just how did I unlock your door without any keys?” josh

“you could have asked for the spares!”

“did you hear any keys going in?” josh

“true, alright. I will somewhat believe your story, but what will you do to me?” sara

“nothing yet. But if you will let me, I can show you a better way of using your gifts.” josh

“this isnt a gift, its a curse.”

“thats just how you view it from your common sense. If you go out of that shell, then you can say you have truly accepted your fate and embrace your own potential.” josh

“no one has ever said to me to just embrace this as my potential, what do you really know?” sara said as she opens the door

“i can teach you how to harness your abilities and learn what to really accept. With my help, you maybe wont need anymore bodyguards, or you might be able to lead them.” josh

“how? I have no leadership skills, im just an ordinary rich brat.” sara

“let me activate your third eye then, as the first step of your training.” josh

“whats a third eye?” sara

“with the third eye, you will be able to communicate with souls just like me.” josh

“what?! I just wanted to sleep well! Thats all! Why would I want to communicate with ghosts?”

“its not you who will, its always they who wants to. They just chose you sara, to communicate with you first.” josh

“whatever. There is just no way that I will communicate with them!” sara said as she slams the door

“do you really want to sleep better from now on?” josh

“hahh.. fine. What should I do in order to have a peaceful sleep?” sara said after a few seconds

“sara, your misunderstanding one simple fact which even I cant escape.” josh said as he enters her room

Her room was pink and was filled with stuff toys and girly stuff.

“whats that?” sara

“u don’t choose fate, fate chooses you. You may be able to prolong your fate, but it will always be there for you, no matter which road in destiny you take.” josh said as he sat on her bed and signals for her to sit too

“So, what do I have to do first? And which exorcism are you referring to? Christian?” sara

“i wont do anything, aside from opening your third eye.” josh said signaling her to sit beside him

“hahh.. fine then.” sara said as she sat besides him

“now, close your eyes for me, just this once.” josh said before she closed her eyes

In that instance, he touched her forehead with his finger, making her feel really hot even if its cold inside.

“uhh.. whats happening to me? I feel so hot all of a sudden.” sara said, about to open her eyes.

“dont open them yet sara, its just your mind telling your body to reject such changes. Learn to accept of what will become of you sara, release yourself.” josh

“but how?” sara

“everything is just in the mind, the body will always follow. Your heart and your common sense is getting in the way sara, accept everything that im about to do!” josh

“alright, I get it.” sara said before she decided to accept her fate once more

With her now accepting everything josh is about to give and do to her, she no longer feels hot all over, and was finally taken inside of her. There, where the background is white all over, she saw a silhouette at the distance. She tried to reach that silhouette but couldn’t, and was sent back to reality.

“whoa! What just happened?!” sara said as she opened her eyes

“what did you feel sara?”

“i now feel, great! As if some weight was lost from me.”

“great! Now you can see your grandpa or grandma besides you right now.” josh said pointing behind her

“who?” she said as she looked behind her, to find a ball of light floating. “kyaa!” she shouted as she hold onto josh

“dont be afraid sara, they are what you call souls. Such are the true form of souls, only our imagination gives form to what we see when it comes to souls.” josh

They then heard footsteps coming up.

“what happened?!” maruhito shouted as he opened the door bringing along miku and his wooden sword

And there, they saw that sara was leaning and holding onto josh.

“you promised me you wouldnt do anything to her!” maruhito said as he points his wooden sword towards josh and as miku couldn’t be more excited on what shes seeing

“whoa there! I didn’t do anything to her!” josh said. “please tell your father too sara!”

“josh, why isnt the ball of light fading? And its almost as if its talking about something.” sara

“hahh.. you see, these balls of light are what you call an entity or a soul. You can basically hear them say something if you would accept and respect them, or if they want to speak to you. In this case, your still afraid of them, so they wont force to say anything to you yet.” josh said as the ball of light goes towards josh hand

By this time, both her parents were just standing there and staring in wonder on what they are doing.

“can I touch it?” sara

“sure, though you wont be able to feel anything yet, they can feel you. In any case, souls are also sensitive, so better respect them as you speak.” josh

“but how?” sara

“you might still be afraid of them. Though even I might also be afraid, I just hide my fear and try to know the unknown, before telling if its good or bad.” josh said before sara tries to touch the ball of light

As she touched the ball of light, she can literally feel the warmth from the ball, as if nostalgic

“thats enough for now, your parents are freaking out.” josh said before sara realized

“oh, im so sorry mom, dad. I wasn’t doing anything weird.” sara said standing up

“yes you were, you were about to hold hands with josh, that we know. So what did he do to you? Some kind of brain wash or something?” maruhito said as miku was calming him down

“no dad, he was just showing me. Yes, showing me a different approach in my problem.” sara

“are you sure? Cause all we see are you guys doing weird things.” miku

“josh, show them what you did to me.” sara

“what?! I knew it!” maruhito said as miku was calming him down again

“hahh.. let me ask you this mr maruhito, will you be fine seeing what were seeing?” josh said standing up

“what do you guys see anyways?” miku

“souls mom, we can see souls for what they really look like!” sara

as both became surprised and perplexed at the same time, they declined after a few minutes of thinking.

“maybe not, thank you.” maruhito said as miku agrees

“alright then, as you promised to have me take care of her, she will be my student from now on, as I am also her body guard, will that be alright mr maruhito?” josh

“what are you saying all of a sudden josh?” maruhito said as he rubs his temple

“dad, I accept his idea.” sara

“what?! but you said you don’t want anything else from him!” maruhito

“yes, that was before. Now that he has shown me a new light, he can be my guide from now on.” sara said with confidence

“are you sure about that dear?” miku

“yes mom.”

“alright fine, I will leave my daughter to you. But remember, once you lay another finger on her, you know what will happen to you.” maruhito

“yes, yes. I know. Well, for now, lets all sleep.” josh said, changing the topic

“a-alright then, lets all sleep now. Im really tired of all thats happening.” maruhito said as miku agrees

“uhh.. josh? Can I ask you something?” sara

“sure, what is it?” josh

“can you sleep with me for now?” sara

“what?!” all 3 of them said

“i knew it! You did something to my daughter!” maruhito said as he tries to hit josh, only to have each hit evaded

“dad! Stop it! Hes only going to sleep on the floor!” sara shouted

“b-but you said--” maruhito

“i know what I said, so get out dad!” sara

Heartbroken, he then went out of the room with miku comforting him.

“uhh.. so now what?” josh said with a gesture

“like you said, we sleep. Tomorrow, we train. Sensei.” sara said with a smile

With that, josh then taught her what he taught his sister, meditation and opening of chakras. Along with some of his martial arts, some basic kendo, and training with handguns. For 3 days, he trained her with all that he knows about self defence.

“i cant believe that it has been 3 days now sensei, ever since I have been training with you.” sara said while they were both in their beds

Josh was still made to sleep on her room.

“haha, im also glad you’re a bright student sara, and easy to teach as well.” josh
”well, its all thanks to my teacher. I couldn’t have learned everything if it wasn’t for you, and I can sleep properly now.” sara

“and even though you still go to college, your so very deligent in learning what I have to teach.” josh

“cause your my teacher, thats what. Cause no matter what, I will always be your number one supporter.” sara

“thanks.” josh

“anyways, now that I have finished your courses, you still havent let me meet with the silhouette guy.” sara

“oh, that was your heros soul that you came in contact with. If you have met with it, then you have almost cleared the conditions.” josh

“what conditions?” sara

“thats to be accepted by the heros soul inside you. For they are always with you, and always measuring if you are up to their standards.” josh

“standards for what?”

“standards for a great person, regardless of status and history.” josh

“is that really all?”

“yes, its that simple right?” josh

“i see..” sara said as she was thinking.

“good night sara.” josh

But when josh tries to sleep, and suppose to close his eyes, he then felt a heavy object.

“uhh.. sensei. No, josh mavric, I want something to remember you by.” sara

“uhh.. what are you doing? I promise that--” josh

“promises are meant to be broken sometimes. You said it yourself, accept your fate.” sara said smiling

“oh boy.” josh said with a gulp before they made wonderful memories over the night.

and as they sleep, sara was taken towards inside her soul again.

“greetings sara fujisaki, you have just passed my qualifications with flying colors.”

“wh-who are you?” sara

“oh, sorry for that. I am queen himiko, and I accept you as the vessel of my fragment!”

“thank you for accepting me, but I don’t know who you are.”

“no worries, we will have enough time to discuss it here so that you can have enough sleep later. Anyways, you have great sense in men.” himiko said complimenting her

“yes, thank you. I don’t know why but--”

“there is no questioning it. With a man like that, you wont find another in maybe a thousand or a million more years. You have been blessed my child.” himiko

“i see. Thank you.” she said yawning

“i see you might need to rest now. As it is now time for you to sleep, I will say this now.”

“what is it?”

“you are an elemental, never forget that my child.”

“i see.” she said before the scene faded and she found out that it was now morning, and her alarm is setting off

With herself in a daze for a couple of seconds, she realized on the position shes in right now. She just made love to the person that she likes last night, and when she woke up in the morning, she was on her bed again and all dressed in her pajamas, with him also gone from the room.

“i cant believe I did all that!” she rolled around her bed all excited for a couple of minutes, all before she got up and went downstairs

and on the way towards the dining room downstairs, she then met with josh who just came straight from the shower, with his six pack showing.

“oh my--” she held herself from panicking. “good morning sensei.”

“good morning. Lets eat breakfast now, I will just go get dressed.” josh said before he goes towards his room to change

With her holding everything up for now, she then goes towards the dining room in her pajamas, and now eating along with her parents.

“whats with the get up? don’t you have class today sara?” maruhito

“i decided to skip one class for now dad.” sara

“what?! what happened?!” both of them said

And while all this happened, josh was just quietly eating breakfast at the side

“im already late, thats what. Anyways, I want to focus more on what sensei will teach me this time.” sara

“what would it be? You said it yourself that hes done teaching you.” miku

“uhh.. I have something to discuss to sensei alone as well.” sara

“what? don’t be a spoil sport dear, tell us as well.” miku

“i don’t mind them hearing it as well sara.” josh spoke

“alright then. Last night, I met with my heros soul, and she said to never forget that im an elemental. What does that mean?” sara

“oh? So your ready then to have my final lessons.” josh said happily

“what final lessons? There are more?” maruhito

“well, for simple life lessons, all is finished. But these lessons will involve her being a soul warrior.” josh

“a soul warrior--” maruhito

“anyways! What does elemental mean sensei?” sara

“it is as it means sara, you can control the elements at your will.” josh

For a moment, they were all in a daze.

“what?!” the 3 of them said

“if your done with breakfast, lets begin training now.” josh said as he stood up and exits the dining room.

After 2 days later, he was finished with training. Then after 2 more days, josh was to go back home as other missions now await him.

“are you sure that your going to leave?” sara said as she is heartbroken to learn of such information

They were still at the mansion where josh will be escorted by black men back to the airport.

“yes. And like I told you sara, I wield the soul of death with me, so I also have to protect the balance of the world.” josh said as he was now carrying his baggage

“i see. I just cant understand some of what your saying, but I know that your leaving because you have another mission waiting for you.” maruhito

“yes sir. Also, from now on, maybe she will be the one who will protect you guys.” josh

“stop it josh, you said they arent ready to face the real truth.”

“yes, I did say that. Though I may say that, everything will be up to you on what you should do sara, you decide.” josh said with a gesture of goodbye

“dont leave just yet! You must take responsibility for me!” sara

“what does she mean by that josh?” maruhito
”I have already trained you to become the finest lady in the land, so like I also told you once, its now your turn to recruit and teach others.” josh

“what are you guys saying?” maruhito
”hahh.. show them sara if you want, though I have got other missions to attend to.” josh said as he walks towards the exit

“which is more important?! me or those missions?!” sara shouted by the door

“how can I protect those which I care if I don’t go? Anyways, I believe in you!” josh said before he got inside the car

With josh now going further away, all she could do was see as the man she loves now goes away from her.

“you love him don’t you?” miku said beside her

“uhm..” she said being really embarrassed. “yes”

“so why don’t you go after him?” miku

“can I?!” sara saw a glimps of hope

“after your done with your duties as the princess, sara. I still havent approved of him yet.” maruhito

“aww shucks..” sara was then saddened

“its your duty as the princess and all, so why don’t you do it for us?” miku

“what are you saying now sara?! be strong! Gather more forces so that they can take your place!” himiko said inside her

“thats right! I didn’t think of that before!” sara said now being hopeful

“what is it dear?” miku

“i just have to let my own little brother manage everything!” sara said with a smile

“sara, what are you planning?” maruhito

“nothing much.” she said with a very happy smile

Days later, and at home, josh hadnt found some missions at all that would interest him.

"Hahh.. all these missions are all military op missions, and none of it interests me." Josh said in his bed while browsing through his phone

All four of them was now sleeping in the same room, as was agreed, for protective purposes.

"Ya, if you cant decide on one, then dont force yourself. Whats more important is our main line here right?" Jade said as she sat in their parents bed, also browsing her phone

"Agreed." James said as they all agree

James was sitting in a chair while eva was tending to the clothes.

"Ok, i know that. Though it seems like i feel like the world is both at balance and not, i dont quite know and cant shake this feeling i have." Josh

"Weird, Whats with that?" Jade

"Dunno, but i think that something might be brewing." Josh

"Stop ya, whenever you always say that, something will or might happen, so lets talk about your adventures for now." Jade

"Shes right josh, you have been busy for the last few days. So what were you doing in your room?" James

"Watching anime, i only came here just now as a change of pace, for now." Josh

"For now? Why dont you just come here often josh?" Eva

"I am, arent i? Though sometimes, i feel like being alone. Anyways, lets talk about my adventures." Josh

Josh then said the story of his adventures, where the only one who doesnt know was jade, which she also listened. All except for the parts where he had sex with each girl in the story.

"So all while i was out of the way, all those things happened?" Jade

"Yes, in fact, it was hectic back then that i just wanted to lie down my bed right away and just watch anime. Haha." Josh said with a smile

"Whats with anime ya? Why is it so important to you?" Jade

"Well, all my wisdom stems from anime, and the activation of my imagination as well. If i hadnt met anime, i dont know if my imagination would have activated or not." Josh

"I see."

"Anyways, what did the americans do to you over there jade? Did they hurt you?" Josh

"Well, you never got to hear me say it right? Since i was at the hospital for a while and got discharged lately." Jade

"Yes. So, what did they do?" Josh

"They just took some blood samples and other samples as well, while i was alone at the room all the time and being monitored by a military nurse." Jade

"I see. And did you tell them about my story?" Josh

"You did tell them to hear it from me right?" Jade

"Yes, i did." Josh

"Well, i never told them. Since they would just not believe in it anyways." Jade

"I see. And since your more or less recovered, even with my healing ability, do you think we can train?" Josh

"Hmm.. maybe no thanks. I already have these powers--" jade

"You cant always be ever so reliant on your powers jade, yours maybe powerful, but you know your weaknesses." James

"Yes, yes. I know. But its not always that situation requires speed." Jade

"Even so, you dont know when you might need it." James

"Like in a close range combat, you know that your powers weakness depends on the type of command you input. Your powers work in both organic and inorganic materials, so it now just depends on what command you use." Josh

"Yes, i know, you already told me. And depending on the command, it really takes a lot of energy out of me." Jade

"Exactly. Just like with chemical reaction and telekinisis, chemical reaction may be able to convert or change any material to any other material but it consumes quite a lot of energy, while the same can be said with telekinisis." Josh

"Hey josh, how come you have to be the one?" James

"To be the one what?" Josh

"The one who must restore or correct the balance of the world." James

"I dont really quite know, since i was chosen maybe." Josh

"Well, it doesnt have to be you right?--" james

"I know what you mean, but if they hadnt done that, there would be no end to my treatment right now." Josh

"I see. What a scary world we live in right now." James

"And does it really have to be you? I mean, humanity as it is now mostly doesnt need correction." Jade

"Why is that?" James

"Since most of humanity is so sinful that it can make the gods cry." Jade

"But gods also need humans for their faith and respect in them, thats what gives them power." Josh

"And does it really have to be you josh?" James

"Yes, since i was chosen, and.. for you guys as well." Josh said being embarrassed. "Anyways, its a sunday so i will just get back to my room, still got a lot of anime to watch." He said as he stood

"Hahaha.. your embarrassed, thats cute." Jade said teasing him as he goes outside the room

On the next day, josh received a letter from CNN for an interview.

"What? They want to interview me? Why?" Josh said as he finished reading the letter

They were all now at their small philippine convenience store, on their free time where there were no customers yet

"Maybe they noticed your achievements josh." Eva said as she was still eating her snack

"Or maybe not. You know media now a days." Jade

"Maybe you should go josh, you always wanted for something to do right?" James

"Yes, i do want to do something, but an interview?" Josh

"Its fine if you dont, but it doesnt hurt to try right?" Eva

"Mom, he might just become a laughing stock out there." Jade

"Or maybe not. I believe in your brother." James said as eva agrees

"Ok then, though dont say i told you so." Jade

"Anyways, i probably wont take a while for this interview." Josh

"When is the interview?" Eva

"It says By wednesday, at 4pm." Josh said looking at the invitation again

"For now, you have about tickets for 4 people, but we arent going." James

"Me too, since i have an online job to do by then." Jade

"Alright then, its just me going." Josh said with a smile

"Please do be careful out there, alright josh?" Eva said as she finishes her snacks

"Roger that."

By the next day, he went to manila again via plane, and went to the hotel that they booked just for him. By wednesday, comes the interview.

"Good morning world and philippines, this is cherry tanday in this show, top talk. This afternoon, we will be talking about the philippines first superhero, josh mavric!"

They the focus on josh which all of them were sitting by a table.

"And we also have sheryl gnome from cnn new york here with us as well!"

They then focus on sheryl and she waved

"On this afternoons episode, we are here to interview josh mavric which also appeared on the international stage. So josh, how does it feel to be a superhero?" Cherry

"Well, first of all, im not a superhero. Im still human so im what one may call a soul warrior." Josh

"A soul warrior huh. What does that mean?" Cherry

"A soul warrior is a person which can talk to souls and have heros souls, which they can also use powers of their own." Josh

"So thats a soul warrior. So, can anyone become this soul warrior you speak of?" Sheryl

"Yes, though the heros soul would depend." Josh

"What does that mean?" Cherry

"The heros soul that they carry would depend between a human hero or an animal soul."

"Really?" Cherry

"Or is it all just something you made? Can you show us a sample?” sheryl

“whoa, you really drew that card early.” cherry

“yes, since im dying to know what its like to be a soul warrior.” sheryl

“hahh.. it wont be easy, since my powers arent for show.” josh

“why is that?” both of them asked

“the thing about being a soul warrior, is that you may have the soul of a hero with you along with your own soul, the heros soul also manages your powers. Which is why one cant just show off their powers to anyone.” josh

“thats pretty inconvenient.” sheryl

“yes, I would agree.” cherry

“well, with great power comes with great responsibility and sacrifice, so thats the way it is.” josh

“ok then, so lets just switch to the stories of your adventures, and how did you manage so far?” sheryl

“are you really sure on asking me about my missions? You might get killed by just hearing them.” josh

“really? Its that top secret?!” cherry

“now you got my curiousity going. Can you tell us anyways?” sheryl

“miss sheryl, do you know how this would imply to us?” cherry

“yes I know, but the question would be, are you willing to go so far for a reporter?” sheryl

“its called a reporters pride.” josh

“glad you know your stuff josh.” sheryl
”anyways, can you tell us some parts of the story?” cherry

“what I can tell you guys is that I am now a wanted man by the underworld and the blackmarket, that I just stopped a world war from happening, saved a plane filled with innocent people from crashing down the mountains, and many more.” josh

“wow! The first 2 really caught my attention though.” cherry

“me too. You really are in a very dangerous spot it seems.” sheryl

“yes, very much. Which is why im now working with the militaries and governments of the world, as their own mercenary.” josh

“uhh.. ok. As a mercenary personally for every military of the world, what priveledges do you have?” sheryl

“well, I get to choose my missions, and I get rewards for those missions. As im now quite after the reward money or the fame, im just using the money for my family and my future.” josh

They then thought for a while.

After a few seconds passed, souls from all over manila came.

As josh was talking up towards the ceiling, both sheryl and cherry just went quiet as they listen

“i mean, man is always known to ravage stuff, specially ancient treasures.”

“alright then. The location to eldorado would be right beneath a waterfall, somewhere in the jungles of peru. While atlantis would be beneath either what you call the pacific ocean or beneath the deserts in egypt.”

“anytime chosen one.” the balls of light said before they disappeared

“so, what did the spirits say?” sheryl

“they said that atlantis would be beneath the atlantic ocean or beneath the sands in egypt.” josh

“what about eldorado?” sheryl
”they said its somewhere beneath a waterfall in the jungles of peru.” josh

“thank you for that, though im also afraid that its nowhere near you being able to prove anything about yourself being a soul warrior.” sheryl

“what does it take then to prove? Just a curiousity question.” josh

“maybe if you can talk to the souls of our dead relatives maybe, but that would be highly impossible for you. So the only other way is to show off your powers.” sheryl said with confidence

“are you sure about this?” josh said as cherry agreed

And then, some days after that interview.

“wow, they are all really energetic about what brother said during the interview, sahing whatever they want to say” jade

They were now at the store again, it was now afternoon where the store was peaceful, and when they were watching TV about people arguing whether josh is real or not.

”well, im glad that brother really whooped their butts off from calling him a fake.” jade

“snacks are ready!” josh said over the kitchen

"As josh said, our powers just arent for show anyways." James said before they got to the kitchen.

As they then ate eggs in bread, little do they know that the ancient knowledge josh provided would start a ruckus.

"Hold on, let me answer my phone guys." Josh said before they agreed and he picks up the call. "Hello?"

"Hello josh, i hope your available now."

"Who is this?"

"Nevermind that, this is the US military calling you of an urgent mission!"

"Hahh.. what is it?"

"As im only here to relay general cesars orders, im only here to speak to you about the mission."

"Oh, alright then. Please speak for the mission."

"Remember your interview over cnn? It really attracted all kinds of gold diggers and archeologists from all around the world, which made cuba cancel some of their flights over there."

"So?"

"We heard that there is trouble brewing there, so your mission is to investigate whats going on there and stop their operations if deemed dangerous."

"Dont worry, the event itself isnt that dangerous, though whats dangerous would be just their infighting."

"Thats right. So we want you, the source of all the trouble, to stop them if necessary."

"Hahh.. fine.. though this might be above my paygrade--"

"Of course you will be compensated for this as well, since this counts as a mission."

"Alright then, im in. When does my ride get here?"

"Be ready in 2 days, we will fetch you via helicopter."

"Ok, bye." Josh said before he cuts the line. "It looks like im going to an adventure."

"It seems like it." Jade

"Will you be coming home late again?" Eva

"Probably." Josh

"Well, good luck there josh, hope you could bring souvenirs if you can." James said with a smile

"I doubt i can dad." Josh said with a gesture

"Haha! Thats alright. As long as you will be fine and can come home, thats whats important." James

"Though i may not be able to report to you for a couple of days." Josh

"Why is that?" All 3 of them said

"Because there might be no reception where im going." Josh said with a gesture

2 days now went by and philippine military personel escorted josh towards the helicopter that was waiting for him at the tanghub airport. As they also made some fuel stops along the way, they finally reached clark aiport again where he will be transported via military plane again. This time, he will just jump off the plane when they reach their destination.

"Sir, were here."

Josh was awakened by the military personel on the plane as they arrived high above the target point.

"Haha, funny thing is, this will be my first time sky diving." Josh said as he stood up

"You need someone to come with you? Do you need any parachute?"

"Nope, i got this." Josh said as he stretches

"You ready pocahontas? Guys?" Josh said inside of him

"Oh, its time already? We just had a nice nap."

"Yes, its time already. Lets get this thing wrapped up quick so that we can rest more back at home." Josh said inside of him

"Agreed" all of the heros souls said inside

Josh then walks towards the ramp, where he only wearing a shirt and pants and not carrying any other wear, he then jumps from the ramp after the go signal from the operator, Though he did also buy some goggles for his eyes. As he jumped, he was able to see almost all of the jungle and its beauty, before using wind control to get towards the point in the map where they are all gathered as per intelligence report.
