Chapter 3_2

Both june and rod closed their eyes to see the memory in order to write it on the notebook one by one, taking turns.

There was a scientist in the past where one time, he encountered a lost girl in the night. It was unclear what were the events that unfold but they fell in love. And as soon she killed and merlin would isolate himself along with the remains of his loved one and die in his house deep in the forest, in isolation.

A man died by a coup de tat at the sea where his men was tired of travelling. They wrapped him in and threw him down to the sea.

A boy was also a thief before, but meeting a stranger, they became best of friends and they helped each other survive in the city. One time, he fell in love with a princess and they decided to go to the palace.

But due to someone else who was after power, they were imprisoned. But as this stranger was a ninja, they managed to escape and free the princess from someone else. That someone else had then died due to an accident in their fight and he was later on made king. But later died due to poisoning from unknown reasons.

A bearded man suddenly appeared never told his story as he was the guardian of the seas, protecting it from pirates and keeping secrets. Though he was sailing in a pirate ship sialing in the seas of what might be the Caribbean.

A priest was poisoned on his meal and was buried in the catacombs.

A barbarian was a warrior known far and wide where he always goes on an adventure. But one day, his wife was captured by a traitor where the barbarian tried to save her. In his fight, he was interrupted and was brought down by the traitor and fell into a pond inside a dungeon. His wife also later on followed him to her death, jumping into the water with chains around her.

A ninja was on a trip around the world to check on information on many other lands afar. He went far and wide across continents, has crossed blades with another warrior and befriended him, and gone far and wide and see and met many people. Even some sights not meant to be said as it was gruesome.

When he got back, along with a disciple at hand, he was betrayed by his brother which has succeeded leadership with his clan and they were captured. They were tortured and the disciple, who was a girl, was raped before being executed along with him. But before their execution, the girl also went pregnant and the child was taken from her.

An Egyptian king had lost his son and his empire and out of despair, he travelled far and wide to find a way to bring back to life his own son. But due to a storm raging on the seas, he was almost dead when they were rescued by a tribe in the forest.

There, he was healed and was made a part of their tribe and soon to be chief. But due to their secrets that he must guard, he died in the temple made of gold in an underground cavern right below an ancient temple, only to curse those who disturbs him in his sleep with his son. His royal guards died along with him as well.

There was a free-spirited princess of a land and protected women as well, but one day, she tried to save a citizen from someone and fought him. He ran away only to bring reinforcements and capture her and found out that they were the mob.

She was then brought in a cell underground while being relentlessly raped and died in that cellar, always crying. As well as making her hostage so that the mob can reign that land and take over power.

The priestess of a very tall tower has died while trying to climb a tower so very tall and while sacrificing a baby to the gods that thunder struck and the tower fell along with them.

A magician died while practicing in escaping from the sealed magicians trick by his assistant. it was an aquarium where he was submerged and would try to unlock himself from the box.

a hero warrior also died in trying to save a damsel from a noble’s house. When he climbed the tall house and fought the guards in it, he then saw the girl already killed the noble. Since the noble was rotten and the most evil in their land and as the girl had a bad history with that noble as that noble killed her friend.

The girl had killed the noble using a viper that she brought since she was a snake charmer and her name was medusa.

But as he witnessed the crime, she then had the viper bite him as well. The hero, wounded and poisoned from the bite, escaped into the desert where he walked far in the desert and fell into a sand dune. Inside the cave in the sand dune, there were treasures inside but as he was slowly dying, he laid himself beside those treasures and died.

A general in a war died at the hands of his generals betrayal and out of jealousy. They also hid his body in the wall of one of the bunkers that serve as his base.

A famous president was killed by a bradva sniper.

Another famous president was killed by one of his close allies on a villa in the woods where he was thrown an axle to his face. Then put in the rocking chair for him to rot.

Another president was killed maybe by an ally as he knew who the killer might be. He was killed by a gun at his back after saying his last wishes.

A woman died inside her house along with her son. They were a normal family until there were rumors flying around the neighborhood that accuses all of them for things that they have not done, especially for her husband at work.

One night, the husband went crazy after an argument with the wife and she killed him as he was trying to kill her. Since the neighbors are always busy with their chatters accusing them, it was most likely that the rumors would increase as she has killed her own husband.

Out of desperation to save her son, they hid in the house where she let him eat her so that he can live longer than her. He even remembered one time in the past seeing an article about something like that as well.

there was a count and a ruler of a land where by his iron rule, everyone who has severe crimes or trespassers would die. There was one time when his wife had backstabbed him and made an affair where he died. The memory of his own death was a bit unclear though.

a famous inventor died in a cellar when the military forced him to design more weapons for them. He was once an aspiring inventor with the heart to help his country in the war and designed many weapons for them.

But as he headed to the castle and submitted his designs, he was then forced to make more designs and he complied. After a while, he got tired of it all, that his designs were being used to kill people and none of his designs to help people was noticed that he tried to resign from the military from making more. To his futile plea to the military, he was left deaf and thrown into a cellar where he died there always declining to design more weapons.

a scholar was once a preacher where he preached in the streets. When he had no one who will listen to his lectures, he joined the military. But one day, he was killed by a soldier and put away in a small room at a hidden backyard.

Another famous scientist built a machine in order to replace and revolutionize the world once more but during the experiment, he was electrocuted. He also cried out to the assistants at that time and took extra precautions but they all ran leaving him behind as the door was on the far side.

A woman was an underground art dealer during the war that was backstabbed at one time and died.

He also had a continuation of a memory where the ancient king, also had memories of travelling and even meeting with an ancient warrior, which they clashed and became friends. He also visited a city where he met a dying king in his later years before his death which he succeeded him for a time and step down. As his memories were all unclear of the rest due to being very ancient, the only memory left was of his assassination in the city.

another would be a famous actor, where he was murdered on set while filming a movie, by the triad perhaps due to debt and many other things.

another famous king also died when his brother backstabbed him in order to take his place and buried him in a nearby castle. There was a fuss before where they ran away with his queen where they delivered their child and lived as a peasant in a faraway village.

Then both are also buried beside the remains of that king where his loyal knight was also the black knight.

A knight in the knights of templar has also died in battle as they tried to salvage and protect a famous persons body where they died in the hands of marauders.

A queen never also shared her memory as she also knew the dangers that he will be in.

Another was a japanese shogun where during some part in a war, he was assassinated by a ninja and replaced with a double. His remains would be found under his palace.

another would be a filipino hero, though he had no memory to share as it was written in the history books, he was by his side as well.

Another was a female knight where she died when she was at battle with some local rebellion where she fell in love with the enemy commander, which what they called as werewolves. The werewolves live in the wild and was barbaric.

On the last days of the battle, where only they were the ones left and in order to stop the war, they made sex and she killed the enemy commander and ran to the east where she could hide.

There she delivered a baby boy and later on was made an emperor. But she was also poisoned in her bedroom due to her son being too great. And later that emperor would have an obsession to not be like his mother that he would be obsessed in mercury.

Another would be the story where there was once a village hidden deep in the forest and there was a brother and sister. The villagers suspect his sister to be a witch and killed her in a local witch hunt not knowing that she was a practitioner of herbal medicine.

The brother, in the loss of his sister, tried to bring back his sister to life by sacrificing his own right part with his sister while his sister was barely alive. Once the operation was done, they then killed all the villagers and ate all of them until no one was left. They died together within the forest and their souls merge to become death itself, haunting the lands in search and to punish people for their sins or something as their reason was unclear.

Another was a famous thief where his death was by the hands of the famous detective. the thief was stealing the crowned jewel when he was shot by the detective, and they fought to the bitter end at each other’s hands while the crowned jewel was nowhere to be found.

Where the thief also helped with the economy and with the people as their robin hood and helped the detective with cases sometimes. They both maintain a relationship of rivalry and chivalry.

Both june and rod stayed all night to write all those memories. their mom was shocked to even see the volume of memories being seen by them and both their parents did not say anything at all.

as they both finished, they refrained from figuring out who those heroes of ancient past might be and just let both of them to sleep. After all that, both of them would have been mentally tired.

But before rod went to sleep, as his parents and june have now slept, grim reaper came.

"young one. Please understand your and our situation and just listen one last time. We have presented to you instead, the soul engine where it will help you with your future battles. Where it will be there that you will draw strength and more wisdom."

Rod nodded.

"consider the rest of the few more days as a present from the devils as they said that the contract is near its end and they need to feed once more on humanity’s sins. And we never told you about the devils right?"

Rod nodded.

"lucifer is the incarnation of wrath and pride. Satan is the incarnation of sloth, gluttony, and greed. Beelzebub is the incarnation of lust and envy."

rod nodded as if understood

"good. Then my business here is over. Take good care of your soul engine young one. They are a gift from all of us. A normal human would just have so many but since so many sympathize with you, even me, we gave you our memories and a portion of our souls as our gift to you. Bye now" the grim reaper then disappeared.
