on the next day, they then visited dutuer and took a day off from the idol business. He also explained to his sister about the soul engine as well.

“so this is what its all about. I really don’t know what to say to all this.” June said as she was really creeped out that she also has those memories within her, though she was also a bit honored at the thought.

They were now in a taxi heading to the malacanang as he explained about the soul engine. They were all now dressed in formal attire as they are now going to meet with the president.

“son, are you sure this is the last of them?” henry

“dear, please don’t say it’s the last. Even if I am hoping as well, I keep my mouth shut as it might cause us bad luck to refuse a gift from the gods.” Hillary

“I think so. Upon the upcoming crisis that might unfold in the future, im sure that this will be needed.” Rod

“we still think this is all too unreal.”henry

“as you cant see it doesn’t mean its there dad. There are always things in this world that cant be explained by modern science.” Rod

“I hope your right about this. Cause im now trusting you with this part only.” June

“son, didn’t you also ask them on why us? We have never meant for any trouble at all.” Hillary

After they have arrived at the malacanang and walked towards the presidents office.

"can we speak with president dutuer?" dad said

"sure, but he still has schedule to follow so im not sure he will be available immediately." the secretary

"alright then. Can you arrange us a meeting with him?" june

"i think i might be able to put up a meeting with you and the president though there is a procedure to follow first. Would you like to do that or just wait for his call?" secretary

"that the mason family needs the president immediately for a matter." rod

And they then went back to work. but after going outside the malacanang, they then heard a helicopter flying over where dutuer himself jumped out of the helicopter holding a foldable ladder.

"boy, you need to come with me now. The situation is getting dire. We need to get to the UN building in new york where the world leaders are gathering. And the topic is all about you boy!"

"what?! Is this about everything about me again?" rod

"yes, like duh.. this time, we are bringing the fight to them. you ready to do this?"

"if my family is with me as well then yes. Lets rumble" rod

"bring it!" june

"okay then. Grab on and climb to the helicopter. We are going to the UN." dutuer

they then go to the UN and along the trip, they briefed dutuer about the memories and the notebook which they brought. dutuer read through all the memories and found a disturbing memory which was also a mason secret.

"how did you get a hold of this info again boy?"

"the souls of heroes gave it to us in empathy of our situation." rod

"if the other governments knew about this, there would be another problem. Let us keep this one as a secret instead." dutuer

"yes sir." they said

"and what does this soul engine do anyways?"

"it helps us in our battles ahead as death had told me one last time." rod

"like what? Turn souls into soldiers? What does it do?"

"probably to level up our instincts in the upcoming battles like this one." june

"just great. Its just your fighting instincts. Anyways, lets just go ahead and focus on the crisis ahead."

They then arrived in the UN building where a fraction of the US army who was guarding the venue awaited them. They then make their way towards the building with dutuer where they all were waiting for them.

"president dutuer. We want answers right now!" american president

"yes, and you already have them. What more would you like from me and my citizens?" dutuer

"we want him to communicate to the gods for us now. We are all lost over what to do with all the info that we received from rod. So we also want rod to solve this for us"

"that is why rod also proposed for a joint research agreement right?"

"tch. Like that will be easy. We wont hand over our best and brightest and just sing kumbaya with other nations, they might know now or will held an advantage over us. So just hand over --"

Everyone then argued over to whom rod would belong from now on while dutuer tries his best to defend rod and his family, since the topic suddenly also changed to getting a job and moving family to their country and even a raise in salary.

"if you will excuse me mr president." The US president was then surprised as rod headed was at the center stage and took over the mic

"world leaders. as the world as at a crisis, you still fight over such a petty matter?"

"yes! Its very important you fool!"

june then turned on the projector which displayed another stage at the back.

"if you will excuse us now mr president." dad said to dutuer as they all were holding cameras wired to the internet

"what?! You fool! Now the people will know and there will be panic!" dutuer

"no mr president. We are tired of being pushed around. No, the country is tired and now deserves the truth." Rod

There was the idol group on stage where they are being projected in the UN big screen.

"you should have told us from the beginning that we are idols and that the world will need us. We quit after this live performance rod” sherri

"your welcome. And after this, we will still need you guys. Trust me." Rod

The world leaders were now complaining for the situation as this has now turned to a live feed.

They then began singing a very electrifying song along with dancing.

"thank you guys. and you world leaders, please just shut up and listen! we have had it with all this as we have already given you everything you need! just when they will come here to invade us and you still wont understand."

"a person then appeared before the american president "sir, we have a situation over at NASA.”

“what is it?” the US president also pissed off over what happened

A large spaceship then suddenly appeared on top of the building and starts attacking with laser beams. Good thing the room was made to withstand a bomb attack which let them escape the attack.

"they are here and you have nothing prepared. Good thing that my country follows my heed." rod

"dont be too conceited boy. I had high hopes so i had a prototype waiting over the hangars in our air force. But for now, lets beat the thing above us." Dutuer said as he hangs tight to one of the chairs

“dad, lets do this!..” rod then drops the mic and walks towards dutuer

“mr president, are there any weapons here?” rod said with a serious face

“its just right here in this building, follow me.”

Both rod and henry then nodded and thethree of them went to the guard station where they got a shotgun rifle and MK_16 rifles. They then made their way to the roof where the spaceship, the size of the Un building, was waiting for them.

"this is for earth aliens!" dutuer said as they sent bullets blazing on the medium sized alien ship

planes also landed missiles on it before they went on the rooftop where it almost made a dent.

When they got to the rooftop, they saw the spaceship floating over and sending some reptile scouts to the roof. There they took cover over the obstructions in the building and concentrated fire on the aliens.

As the aliens don’t have any armor, they were affected by the bullets that went blazing towards them as they jumped off the hatch.

"guys, lets focus on the hatch and fire away" american president said as he joins the fray

Then the army came along with the US president and started firing along with them. The reptilians were no match as they were showered with bullets.

Rod then picked up the machine gun that the soldiers were carrying and got near the hatch, bullets blazing as well, killing the barbaric reptilians.

The hangar doors were then closed by the time rod got closer to it and The ship instead took off and returned to wherever it came from.

all was caught on camera by june and her mother as they also took cover by the obstructions filming the entire event.

Later on, this was then a known incident where all nations agreed to a joint research agreement with rod as one of its members.

June was now the one who manages the idols where rod also visits them in his spare time. June also had the help of her mom as well while their dad came to train the new recruits as part of the army reserves.

3 earth years later, The reptilians came back just outside earths atmosphere with their earth sized mothership.

They then sent medium sized ships unto the surface to both scout and destroy. All the reptilians saw were cities being abandoned with a strange noise on the background.

The mothership also scanned the surface to find their bases and relayed the coordinates. But as the spaceships got near those bases, they were being presented with heavy fire.

They analyzed the compound hitting them and some were the same substance as with the last scout ship. They took fire only to find their attacks deflected by a shield.

They then request more troops and fired their missiles at the bases to no avail as the shield still held on. Their giant lasers fired and was dissolved by the shield. Now their only option was to send ground troops on the ground where they were being presented by soldiers with armor and some without. All of them continued their assault until the last specie standing.

The war now started and they presented the aliens with a shield made of electricity to nullify lasers and blasts. Citizens were also half way done with evacuation to the shelters as they saw the air force leaving a trail in the sky.

As NASA saw them getting closer from satellites and from observatories all over the world, the warning then came to the UN to prepare for interplanetary war.

They have armored tanks and men on the ground. they also gave other men without armor fighting alongside those with armor.

Later on, they then presented the aliens with energy blasts from men with armor that are flying. There were also gundams on the ground and air, and with the air force doing dog fights in the skies with their scoutships.

The battle was fierce and the humans never gave up. With rod in the gundam force, and his dad in the iron corps (men in flying armor) they go into the skies of to defend earth.

The ground was also filled with music from idols where it perceives as noise from the reptilians. The human soldiers were so very tough and they dont know how to suppress them unless they fight with all the got since The music gave the soldiers more fighting spirit and courage to go to battle.

a few years now passed and the enemy is now thinning away. with their forces thinning out, they had to retreat now so the call was made by the reptilians to retreat.

the humans then made a war cry of victory over the land and the gundam force, the iron corps, and the air force then go after what remains of their ships and slowly climbed uppwards to higher altitudes.

at the highest altitude possible to attack them and they then left the ships to retreat. though that wasn’t the last.

their mothership then prepared a big cannon enough to destroy a planet and the humans noticed it. All the gundam force then climbed up more and gone to space this time, to the mothership.

"i will be back dad." rod

"be careful rod" dad

"roger" rod

The gundam force then ascend to outer space while the iron corps and the air force go back to the skies of earth once more. As that was the only highest altitude possible that they could go.

The humans then released their trump card where there was a hidden iron corp equipped for space and gundam force, even space ships, on the other side of the moon were the reptilians missed it.

They all then did a surprise pincer attack on the mothership where it did a number on it. Lasers fired from all directions from the mothership and the human forces having shields as well in their armor to disperse some of the lasers.

"ground forces! Come in! Launch all the nukes now before the giant laser fires!" rod said as he was reminded of the giant laser above them.

"this is ground control to blitz delta. We still have to get permission from all the leaders before--"

"get them to approve now! Cause earth will be doomed in a few seconds if theybwont approve this right now! Over!" rod said as he was still firing on the lasers that were from the mothership.

"let us get back to you on that over."

The leaders on the ground were still deliberating whether to launch or not.

From the gundam force, the US president decided without further deliberation to launch their nukes.

"i permit the launch of all my nukes! Generals! Make the call now!" the US president said while struggling to evade the lasers.

"world leaders! This is war of the worlds that we are fighting! Why are you still hesitating? Its because that we value our world which is why we are protecting it from these barbarians!" japanese president

As the mothership has now charged up their gigantic laser canon, the reptillians notices multiple readings of flying objects coming from the ground. There, all the nukes in the world was then headed for the giant canon up in space and hit it causing a massive explosion outside.

It only damaged a part of the gigantic canon which was still charging.

The other world leaders then approve to use all their remaining missiles including their nukes at the gigantic canon. The reptillians then noticed another set of objects heading towards the gigantic canon and tried to return fire but failed due to the efforts of the gundam force. All the missiles and nukes then hit the gigantic canon causing colossal destruction to the canon.

And as the mothership did not notice out of all the commotions, they were being infiltrated on the inside. They then later noticed it and fought. The human soldiers inside fought with armor with them, the reptilians being bigger, 2x from the human size and the humans equipped with both guns and martial arts.

"dont give up just yet men! We got to push on and fight! "rod said as the outside forces were almost done.

"yes sir!"

"i saw these bastards on the surface with the army and they show no mercy or decency. They strip you to the bone as they eat your flesh. There is also no room for negotiations with these bastards!" american president

"i believe your right!" one of the presidents accompanies them.

"i saw it too you know. Lets do this men! Eliminate them!" dutuer said leading one of the infiltration units inside the ship.

After many hours of fighting, the infiltration unit was successful in planting miniature nuclear bombs inside the ship and the order was made to retreat from the ship.

After some hours of evacuation, they then detonate the nuclear bombs inside. The mothership was then up in flames, explosions all over the mothership.

victory was now theirs, the humans won. though after the blasts, they still scout the ships for left over reptilians and killed them all.

"captain, why would we have to kill them all without leaving a trace?" a soldier

"as explained in the briefing. The gods cant hold out against them unless their species is entirely wiped out." rod

"Like their gods, their specie eats the loser for dinner soldier. " dutuer

"but look at them now. They are all helpless and --" a soldier

"did you watch the animal channel soldier? Reptiles are known to be carnivores which mercilessly hunts their prey and eats them out of cold blood." rod

"whats more, they are all alien soldier. Our human logic wont be of use to them." American president

"lets now go and kick some more butts soldiers. We have no other options on this aside from exterminating the threat to this universe. " rod said as he gone into the mothership

"wait for us kid!" american president said catching up to rod along with the others.

They all then scoured the entire ship and found no more reptilians. Their offspring were also being killed as well since they are strapped on what is to be a mind feeding machine for each reptilian kid.

"this is like a factory of lizards captain" a soldier

As rod and the rest walked or floated along the halls of the ship.

"they are surely advanced for lizards. shame that they are barbarians. " American president

"guys, lets go to the cargo bay or the prison cells. I’m sure we are to find something surprising down there." rod

As they near the prison cells, they then saw children of other alien planets being strapped in a mind control device.

"meet our first contact ladies and gentlemen." rod said with a confident face.

The aliens that were strapped were also like the alien gods that rod encountered as he battled with them.

"really? This is it? I was expecting --"American president

"yeah. me too. "japanese president as they all also agreed

"i know right? But lets rescue them first and undo their mind control." rod

"you got that right. " dutuer

They then cut the wires and unstrap the alien children.

"this will be a long process of unwinding sir if i say so myself" a female soldier

"yes, it will be. " rod said as they continue to unstrap the alien children

"command. Prepare the entry ships for cargo. cause we got loads of em here." American president

"roger that alpha. over." comms

They then loaded the alien children where they were scanned before reentry to earth. then on earth, as humanity saw the alien ship exploded on the night sky, radios then said that the earth is saved and the aliens are now gone. The shelter then opened up to all the people inside to go out to a new day on earth.

After a few years once more, repairs were now done to almost all the damaged buildings from the war. Cities were slowly healing itself from the casualties and people also helping one another in rebuilding their homes.

World leaders also busy with preparations to use and implement rods idea to colonize the solar system. Using the alien mothership, which scientists are now decoding the alien codes and engineers repairing it as well where rod is leading both engineering and scientific teams inside the ship.

Rod also contacts and visits june from time to time where june and his family are busy with rehabilitation of the alien children and dehypnotizing them.

Then after one visit from rod to the alien children where he rod the flight ship of his design. Designed for safe travel to space, the flight ship is also designed for space entry and earth reentry.

"hello june, im now coming there so prepare a meal for me as well."

Rod calling from the first ever space port where he just landed. Rod was also made an honorary soldier where he also wore a soldiers uniform.

"okay... mom, dad. rod --" june then hung up

he then rode to the alien rescue center that they established. a car awaited his arrival and they then rode on. after he arrived, he was then presented by the alien children. He has now arrived in a building where it was far from the city and filled with flowers and nature.

"welcome home mr rod." the children said

"hello children! Girls.. June, mom and dad."

"the children really likes you as usual rod. " sherri

"come on mary. You got something to say to rod?" lica

"welcome home my idol. Hehe." mary, one of the alien children from the planet of fire

sheryl was blushing as she was watering the plants along with some other children. "hi" she said

Every time he comes home, there will always be a cooking competition with the girls on who will win his heart as there will also be a large array of food that will be cooked along with it for the children.

then after dinner, the children are once again gone into the dehypnotizing room where they are hypnotized in order to delete all the commands and brain washing done by the barbaric race.

"i always cant bear to watch this part of the day." rod

"yeah, us too. But we gotta do it. " sharon said as she touched his back

"your right. for now, i will be outside the dehypno room watching the children." rod

"alright son. " mom said who was still eating

But there was a secret that rod kept, that every time he goes to the dehypnotizing room and stare at the screen, his head hurts like hell and there would be flashes that he sees like when a tv would have low or no signal or a visual feed from a computer being interrupted. but at that time, june saw it and held him in her arms.

"what happened to you bro?"

"you saw me huh. I have no choice then though im just alright."

"what are you not telling us again." june

"that whenever i stare into the screen, my head hurts."

"maybe. just like when dad said just let it go, we should expose you too to the dehypnotizing program." june

"no, i still got a job to do with the government"

When they got back to the kitchen, his parents were worried again about what happened as june carried him in one arm. He then explained to all of them about the dehypno program also affecting him.

after some deliberation, the majority agrees to also expose him as well, but only after some tests. The next few days, he took many leave from work and took some tests.

"as far as his tests are concerned, his tests are all alright except that hes high in cholesterol." doctor said in his office where rod had his results read.

"i see. so what might this be doc?" dad

"this might be a matter of his psychological state of mind. If he doesn’t mind, i would also agree to expose him to the program." doctor

"are you alright with this bro?"june

"will it hurt him doc?" mom

"physically, no. It will only mentally unlock his mind to whatever hes exposed to"

"alright then. Lets do this." rod said as he tries to get up

As they were finished with the doctor, he then go back to their house so that they can think. Then sheryl knocked the door to his room the next morning.

"just fine. What brings you here?" rod said as he just woke up from his nap. He was still wearing his pajamas that time.

"remember the first time we met?"

"yeah. it was when i was still recruiting idols and you were there passing by with your college uniform for nursing."

"yeah. And when you spoke to me, i was first surprised and confused about all the jibberish you have said. But when i heard im to be scouted as a model, i had second thoughts about it. But then i consulted my friends about it and said that i should really go for it. at night, as he was about to take a bath, there was someone by the door. he then got the door and it was mea. as mea was about to greet, she then blushed and unable to concentrate where to look since rod was only wearing a towel and a brief.

"oh, hi mea."

"can i come in?" mea said being unable to concentrate looking in his face

"sure. But can you let me get a bath first? I was about to slip into my pajamas."

"alright. i will just be by the living room watching tv."

they then got inside and he got to the bathroom. a few minutes later, she then knocked on the bathroom door.

"are you done?"

"not yet. you have something you suddenly need?"

"no. But can i come in?"

"why? And are you sure?"

"yes. I insist on coming in."

she then came in after he unlocked the door. she undressed herself and got into the bathroom. she then took a shower while rod keeps staring at her.

"you know, you have changed. ever since we were little, i keep looking out for everyone in class and you were the most shy among all our classmates. "

"yeah. i barely talked to any girl while i get along with the guys."

"though thats true, i also saw a kind side to you when you were watering plants at the back of the school. "

"you saw that?"

"yes. It left an impression to me on how kind you were. Even now, your still the same kind guy that i knew. Since also the time when you smiled as you covered me when i had that wardrobe malfunction."

Rod was thinking about that time where he almost got to see her though as a gentleman and a manager, he must protect his girls. He also clenched his fist as he thought of that.

"the children even looks up to you and adores you for your kindness. I even thought that you would be a great father someday. And eventually, i was always looking at you every time. And sometimes when i play with the children, i couldn’t stop thinking about you. "

"hey sexy, you done yet?"

"dont rush a lady rod. and im almost done here."

she was then done with showering and gone in the bath tub with him.

"would you like me to scrub you me lady?"

"what are you now? a butler? i can scrub myself. but thanks."

Rod was still staring at her and for the many memories that they made.

" i cant thank you enough for this chance at taking care of the children. when you asked us if we want to take care of children, we first thought you were kidding but as we were heading to our retirement, we thought why not?"

"i see. and im thankful for you guys also being here. its really a big help for me."

"yeah. and maybe someday, we could start our own family. "

she then blushed and looked away from rod

rod then go near her and kissed her. They then continue. After that, he let her stay for the night and slept.

after a few more days, the big day came. he also underwent the program, strapping himself in a chair and forcefully opening his eyes.

in there, he was writhing in pain as the program forcefully opens and unlocks whatever program was being put in the head from mind control. for hours he was in pain and eventually, he then passed out while seeing the interruption of video feed.

he then opened his eyes and gasp while he sat up from his bed. he was so tired that he lied down once more and examined his surroundings.

He then concluded that he was in a hospital bed and reached for the nurse call button. A nurse then go inside his room where they saw him awake and alarmed the other nurses.

He then demanded an explanation as what is happening and was told that he passed out in his room while his ears were bleeding. There was no explanation as to what really happened that time which led them to just accept what has happened and called a witch doctor where even he cant solve the problem.

He then remembered everything from his dream state and asked for a laptop where he wrote everything that had happened. At that night, when he finally finished writing the first part of his story, his sister then visited him and cried in tears of joy.

She said their parents will be arriving tomorrow and talked about what happened where he also let her see his story in the dream.

he then suddenly remembers of fragments of memories where he was in a chair with his head strapped steady. his body also remembers something as some kind of pinches or holes made from needles were made all over his body. and by connecting all the dots, and that he only got out by dehypnotizing himself, he theorized that he was being hypnotized by a witch doctor.

But how can someone so secure be involved in such a horrible procedure? He then thought of one possible memory where he let his guard down which was a leisure trip with his coworkers by some time before the incident happened.

After his sister finished reading the story, he then wrote down the last pieces of the puzzle.

by the next morning, he was greeted by his parents who were both relieved that he was alright now though he is still to be discharged a few more days.

"im fine now, really." rod

"really? maybe you should still stay here for a few more days just to be safe."mom

"no, im now really fine though. i--"

"no son. we cant afford to lose you like that ever again. a few more days of check ups maybe."

"alright then. a few more days of check ups and i can go out right?"

"yes. we were really worried about you son, what really happened?" dad

"dad, it would be best to read his story." june

"here you go" rod then turned the laptop to them so that they can read

as they were a family of halfs, it was in their nature never to get involved in somethings so after his parents read the story and his theory, they did nothing. only to submit a resignation letter to the company and go back to his home town where it was safer. As there are no evidences to support his theory, they couldnt make any moves.

He then go through a final series of check ups and found nothing so on the next day of his final exam, they them released him. and while on the hospital, he learned to meditate in order to unwind and undo the hypnotisms being done to him as he still remembers every pinch of the needle.

he also theorized that the needle were Chinese acupuncture needles as well. And after a few days on his room, after his meditation pays off and the rest of the symptoms were all gone, he then decides to make his story into a novel called "the tale of a thousand lies" and published it online. there, the number of views were around a thousand and rising.

one day, a man came into the house.

"good day maam and sir" a bearded man in a formal attire said

"good day. how can we help you?" henry said in his house attire

"im ricardo mendez and im here to ask for the author of the tale of a thousand lies."

"who again?"

Hillary then came along with her house attire as well

"the author of the e-book the tale of a thousand lies. because you see, i have a daughter who is in the same experience as the author and am hoping that he might be able to help her."

"you can ask the doctors for that right?" mom

"yes but even the doctors cant help her and shes still in a coma for 6 months now."

"i see. but there might be another way right? the story might not be true"henry said as he didnt know that the author was his son.

"true but this is the only lead that i got"

Rod came back from his errand

"im back. whats up with him?"

"hes searching for the author of this book" dad

he then saw the title of his book

"you must have hired a detective which had searched online for the author of that book right?" rod said with certainty

"yes, and the investigation led me to this place."

"why would you need the authors help?" henry said to interupt the conversation

ricardo then explained the situation of his daughter one more time so that rod could hear

"i see. and what might the author be able to help with her condition?" rod

"i dont know. maybe find a way to awaken her in her sleep as she has been like that for a while now. so i thought maybe i could ask for help. this only happened a few days after her trip with her friends for an island hoping adventure. "

"have you tried to contact her friends for something?" dad

"i have. and they didnt admit to anything of the sort. i already had her records transferred from her school and i currently have them. when she wakes up, shes gonna transfer schools and thats final."

"i wont decide for you mr ricardo, but you should wait for her response on the matter." mom

"your right. but still, i would need any way for her to wake up. would you happen to know the author?"

"you can try others if they might know" rod

"thanks anyway for helping"

as he had left, rod told his parents that he had made a novel out of his story.

"no wonder you suddenly have all that money that one time. still, you should have told us and we would have supported you." dad

"yes, your right. and what should we do with him?"

"if he comes back, we should ask him to leave and lie that we dont know. We cant get involved in any more trouble" mom

"alright then" rod

they immediately called his sister and informed of the situation and agreed to the plan. the next morning, he came back and asked again and they lied to him that they dont know.

he did this a couple of times before calling his investigator. the next following days, hes lying on the floor of their store where he said his money was stolen and had nothing else to turn to but the author for help with his daughter. a few more days and he was still there so they then discussed one early morning.

"im now feeling sorry for him" rod said as he was woken up in the morning with them still in their pajamas.

"he hadnt had a proper bath and proper food for almost a month now. we maybe should--" dad

"we musnt get into trouble, remember that." mom

"but his resolve is true so his story might be true." rod

"what resolve? if something would happen to you again, i wouldnt know what to do." mom

"how about i would accompany rod with him for now and see the situation with him." dad

"i agree with dad, mom. we should at least try. " june over the phone in loud speaker

"alright then. but lets make sure this time alright?" mom

"roger." rod "alright." june and dad

On the next day, they invited him over to the house for a meal and a bath. When he finished..

"please listen carefully and dont panic" dad

"yes?" ricardo

"im the author." rod said as he came in behind his father

"thank god!" ricardo then hugged him as his expressions grew brighter

"why would you do something like that? like sleeping in from of our house or store?" dad

"it was all that was left since i had no ticket and nothing left to do for my family except this." as ricardo desperately held on to his phone.

"so, what do we do now?" rod

"oh. let me call the house for now."

ricardo then calls "hello.. this is ricardo speaking. hey patricia, hows our daughter?.. i see... good news.. i now have the author and in contact with him..yes.. please prepare a plane ticket for 4..Thanks.." he then hangs up

"by the way, whats the address here?" ricardo

they then provided an address after an explanation of the plan. They then decided that hillary would be left in the house and both rod and henry would go instead. the next day, the tickets arrived and they then go to a plane ride to barcelona, spain where they were waited by a car at the airport. they drove for a few hours and finally arrived at a mansion which turns out to be theirs.

"hello darling. " a woman said after she answered the door.

"hello. gentlemen, this is patricia, my wife. " an alright looking woman stood

"hello, im henry mason. " dad said

"and im rod mason, his son." rod

"hello there. please do come in." they then came in. "so my daughter will be saved yes?"

"i dont know, but we will try." dad said

"can we hurry to her?" ricardo

"calm down now ricardo. These are our guests, lets show them our hospitality." patricia

"alright. lets eat for now."

it was already lunch time as they arrived. during the meal, the table was very quiet as they ate, like there was a gloom in the family. after lunch, they then head to their daughters bedroom.

"this is sheryl mendez, our daughter." ricardo introduced his daughter who was lying in the bed in her pajama.

"shes cute.. Ehem... Though let us see what we can do." rod said correcting himself

they then tried every simple thing just to wake her up, even a wake up kiss, but to no avail. then rod now have to think of another way to wake her up.

Then he tries putting headphones with bizzare music on her and forcefully opens her eyes as he tries to dehypnotize her.

"sheryl, listen to my voice. Umm.. Meditate and put your mind at ease.." rod said as he also speaks loudly while face to face with her and eye to eye.

"meditate and lessen your restraints.. Meditate and awaken.. " he then enchants the girl with his voice.

After a while, he massages her whole body while enchanting loudly.

Later, they saw her breath heavily and then he shouted "all commands nullify!"

this put her at ease again and he did the enchantments once more.

"what the hell is he doing? and what the hell happened?" ricardo said at the side as he held on to his wife for comfort

"i dont know, but just watch and have faith." henry said being uncertain that it could work.

the sun has set, and she was still asleep. And rod thought of the last possible way that he could think of, the chi blow, a dangerous technique used by martial artists to either stop the heart or bring it to life once more as he learned that on a science channel. He theorized in his head that there must be a right amount of chi and force applied in order to do this.

"guys, i may have to use the final measure that i got in mind." rod said being so tired from massaging her

"whatever it takes mr rod. but please be careful." ricardo

patricia just sat there on the side, crying as she is helpless to help. henry also jus waited and observed his son return the comatose back forcefully.

"you better leave the room for this mr ricardo, this might be hard to watch for you."

"no. We will stay near our daughters side until she wakes up." ricardo said as patricia also nodded, both of them being serious

"well then, lets do this."

first, he breathed in and out, calmed his state of mind. then he enchants her once more and slowly builds up chi in one arm and transfers it into the other. once the chi was on the other end, he then let out an immediate blow to her chest causing her to gasp and stood up.

She almost broke her spine when she stood upright but she was catched by rod. while gasping, her eyes were opened wide, still breathing heavily.

"calm down and breath slowly sheryl" rod said as he repeats this while also breathing

she then calmed down and looked at her surroundings. Her mom couldnt believe it and cried at the chest of her dad. They then slowly approached her and took her in their arms and cried.

She was also surprised by the events.

They all slowly explained the events and she began to cry tok herself. Rod and his dad then left the room and go to the guest room.

"you did it son!" dad

"yeah. im just glad that worked" rod said being relieved while sitting in a chair

"what was that anyways?"

"a very dangerous martial arts move that can stop the heart at full force."

"what?! and you used that on her?! And when did you ever learn something like that?!"

"i just applied a little amount of force for that judging by her physique." rod said dodging his other question knowing of the consequence if they knew.

"that was a dangerous move you did son, but im proud. you brought back to life a coma patient!"

"no dad. that was a comatose patient due to severe hypnotism. im just glad it didnt kill her, the hypnotism i mean."

"you got a thing for her dont you?"

"haha. shes cute and all so she can pass as a like." rod said with a smile

"haha. alright then, lets go to sleep. And lets not talk about this with anyone else but us" they both agreed and slept.

the next day, they all had breakfast together with the family with big smiling faces, happily chatting each other.

"i cant thank you enough mr rod for what you have done." patricia

"yes, i cant thank you enough for saving our daughter." ricardo

"thank you mr rod, for saving me." sheryl

"your welcome."

"is there anything you desire?" ricardo

"no, nothing. its nothing at all."

"no, as thanks for saving my daughter, you can have anything you want that my money can buy" ricardo

"if its within our budget of course." patricia

"is there anything you desire son? take in fact, court her." dad said teasingly

"dad.." rod said while scratching his neck

Sheryl also giggled at the thought.

"i would be glad to befriend your son sir" sheryl

"thats alright. you can be friends if you want to." dad

"alright then, lets be friends sheryl. and there might be one more thing that i want."

"whats that? name it!" ricardo
