Then on the day of the talk show with rod, rod then arrives with 2 body guards all in armor while rod was just in his tshirt and jeans

“welcome to our talk show where we have a very important guest! And can you guess who it is?! Its rod mason! The hero!” the host then clapped as well as the audience “welcome to our talk show and im micky velez..” micky was sitting down her chair when the talk show started

“thank you very much for inviting me here miss micky.” Rod said as he was now seated while the bodyguards all stand up behind him

“your welcome rod. So is this your first talk show?”

“yes. This is certainly my talk show slash interview.”

“haha. Say, whats with the body guards? The station is already guarded well enough for any intruder.. might there be someone who wants you dead or something?”

“yes, there might be. Though i don’t know if they are also listening but let us just make peace.”

“oh.. a peace declaration by our hero. What might they respond with, i wonder. Anyway, thinking of it is scary so lets move on to our topic.”

“okay then.” Rod then gestured at micky to go first

“say, why did you really write the book in the first place?”

“i wrote that book so that other people can know of what has become of me and that they may be warned of the dangers they may face. If they ever read my book anyways.”

“ah.. so it was suppose to be a warning for all of humanity am i right?”

“nope. Just those who reads it.”

“i see. But it awfully turned out for the worse ever since your trip to the atlantic.”

“project atlantis, now that takes me back.”

“yes. You really fought brilliantly against gigantic squids and sharks alike! Were you really afraid back then?”

“haha. Well.. just like this talk show right now, im hiding the fact that im being shy right now since i have to say to the people some things.”

“like what exactly.”

“just continue with the questions, we will eventually get there.”

“whew, you really know how to put on a show there rod mason. Meaning, you have to watch more of this show to know right?”

“yes. Though i might not call myself a good entertainer since my job doesn’t need that kind of thing.”

“i see. Your job is rescue work after all which is very stressful.”

“yes, and very hard. Though it is, its also a very fulfilling job.”

“why is that?”

“since i get to save people from almost any peril that they face.”

“almost any huh. So the recent videos was all rescue missions right?”

“yes, they were. As you can also see in the video, most of the victims were seriously depleted or almost dead.”

“yes. It was a good thing that you got to them at their time of need. So do you have any plans on—“

“going back there? no way.. you saw in earlier news right? My men suffered a lot in the last mission.”

“so when are you going back?”

“like never. Normally, rescue work would only be done with my team without me, but due to circumstances, i had to be the one to do it.”

“hmm.. it looks to me that most of those missions would have been very dangerous for normal people. What compels you to go there?”

“its just my work, thats all. Since there was a formal request from the higher ups for a rescue, i just simply responded to it.”

“i see. Very professional of you. Say, what made you want to establish a rescue center?”

“ever since my time with project atlantis, many requests from all over the globe came at my doorstep for a request for either new innovations, search and rescue, investigations, and other miscellaneous stuff.”

“miscellaneous?”

“its not that important really, like finding out the cell number of coby Bryant and something like that.”

“that would really be a breach of privacy there.—“

“you know, Philippines doesn’t have the capacity for hacking since as far as i know, all we have are keyboard warriors.”

“haha. Your maybe right about that. Say, are you close friends with the president?”

Rod then smiled. “now thats confidential.” Rod then winked as he gestured for silence

“oh.. very mysterious aren’t we.”

“there are always some things in this world that either or both cant be explained and must never be said.”

“how very caring of you. Though don’t you mind giving away those secrets? It really weighs quite a lot don’t you think?”

“yes, it does weigh a lot on my stress meter. But because i was given this responsibility that i must fulfil my role.”

“how very responsible. Say, i heard that you have over 6 wives. Is this true? and if so, how are they?”

“yes its true. And if your asking on how they are, they are just fine. Last night, they even had a fight on who should go with me in this talk show.”

“haha. That sounds like a hell of a battle. So why aren’t they here?”

“we decided it best that they should just stay at home where its safe for now.”

“how safe?”

“now thats confidential. If i give away that, the enemies might come for me.”

“i see. That sounds really scary. Don’t your—“

“they can all take care of themselves. After all, we trained together, we did missions together in the past, and most of all, i chose them.”

“oh.. sounds very manly of you. So back to the topic, what can you say about project atlantis?”

“umm.. can you just ask me with specific questions rather than broad ones?”

“why is that? That was a question right?”

“its like saying spill out everything you know about the project.”

“found out huh. Haha. Nevermind. Anyways, how did you end up in the atlantic by the way?”

“we just accepted a request for a survey mission on the atlantic, thats all.”

“but why the sudden spectacle as showing the world of your video?”

“you see, it was quite dicey back then. We had some of our employees or students either kidnapped or threatened into answering what my companys secret was so we had no choice but to go along with the flow.”

“go along with the flow?”

“yes. Though we altered the flow into a big tsunami so that those who will hurt my employees wouldn’t get away with it.”

“oh.. how heroic of you. As i remember, it was those generals that made you show the video right?”

“yes, it was. Since they have gone overboard with their methods that we just had to step up our plans.”

“they tried to hurt innocent lives back—“

“nope. They are just trying to threaten me into spilling the beans. Since to them back then, they just view me as an ignorant kid who knows nothing of what a simple bomb can do to a person. Of course i don’t know since i didn’t saw any though it doesn’t mean i would stand by and just be ignorant of the details.”

“so they underestimated you and your crew, that was why am i right? And you were still 27 by that time right?”

“yes. Let me impart with you some wisdom.. sin is an instigator to everything..” rod said with serious face

“w-which means that because of their pride as old men, they couldn’t see past you right?”

“somewhat like that, though i wouldn’t brag about it.”

“i see.. say, didn’t you fight those squids with an armor?”

“yes. Its called the mariner. Its built for underwater travel and swimming for over 1,000 feet.. almost ust like with a scuba diver.”

“oh.. now thats nice. And its also built for fighting too right?”

“originally, its only built as a replacement for current scuba diving equipment. But since the circumstances called for it, we made some modifications to it so it can be used to fight against what might come out from the sea.”

“i see. You can never guess what the sea really holds right? Since we have only ventured about 10,000 feet under the sea.”

“hmm.. current submarines can go as low as 10,000 feet, yes. The sea is really mysterious right?”

“yes your right. But thanks to those drill things—“

“drill drones and yes. Thanks to project gravity fall, we were able to finally see a sonar outline of the sea bed by 100,000 to 300,000 feet under the sea.”

“wow! Now thats quite neat! It can even be called the innovation of a lifetime! But cant you also use that technology to take humans down that deep?”

“if you want to die,yes. Those drones were made to be disposable in the first place.”

“y-you said disposable right? So how much would they cost?”

“i really cant say anything about the cost of those but all i could say is that making those would be expensive.”

“hmm.. i see.. aside from that, what other innovations did your company come up with?”

“how about just questioning me in order of my adventures to reveal the other innovations?”

“haha. Thats right. So on to the next adventure then.. was it fighting against terrorists?”

“nope. It was fighting robots.”

“oh yeah, the one in south korea.”

“yes. It was a tough battle as i recall since those robots were so many and we were only few back then. Man against machine.”

“yes, that was a tough battle where you displayed very tough fighting skills. Say, do you know any martial arts?”

“no. I only learned a bit of karate and picked up the basics, as well as watching many movies and anime where i picked up some fighting techniques on my own.”

“ohh.. so you were just self learning. Impressive.. can you show us your martial arts right now?”

“nope. Martial arts is never for show, but for protection of your loved ones.”

“hmm.. how manly of you to answer that. And what was that robot anyways?”

“ahh.. that was gundam exia.. we built it as my request just for me to look at in awe as one of my favourite gundams come to life.”

“so it was just for show then.. why was it made into a weapon?”

“you know, im a bit of a perfectionist so i let them refine the suspensions systems and stuff so that it can also move freely. And the sword on its hand was already part of the original design which was why i picked it. It would be cool right if i could make a gundam and do a fighting stance with it.” Rod said with excitement

“uhh.. your like being a kid here rod.”

“so what? every man would have loved to pilot a robot right?”

All the world leaders were also watching the show as it was showing live internationally and the Japanese president also agreeing to his sentiments

“o-okay then. Can i ask if you were also behind the attack in south korea?”

“definitely no. I just came to south korea just to find investors for my growing company when all of a sudden, there was a kidnapping and then a coup. Well, the rest would be confidential so you can always ask the confidential stuff with the world leaders.” Rod said with a smile

By hearing this, the world leaders were all pissed at him for saying it. They already have enough problems as it is and he just makes more for them.

“o-okay.. so on to the next adventure..”

“yes, it was with the artificial black hole that the terrorist had accidentally switched on.”

“wasn’t it with that temple?”

“nope. It was definitely with the black hole. Im just glad that the black hole back then was still small and if it wasn’t, we wouldn’t have been able to close it.”

“yes, it was really a close one. The whole world had jitters even recalling it.”

“i even visit the grave site every year, paying my respects to the wonderful minds that was lost in the catastrophy.”

“geneva really grieved over the loss of those brilliant scientists that today, even as a new CERN building has been built, they would make that fateful day a holiday to remind them of their loss and for the second chance that you gave the world rod mason.”

“yes, it was really a close call you know. We really gave it our all that time. I even had burns in my left arm when i accidentally got too close to the heat of the laser.”

“even your team?”

“yes. There were many that time who were seriously burned and some injured by the laser. But if we hadn’t done that, we all wouldn’t be here right now and what took earths place would just be a giant black hole.”

“but aren’t black holes only exist in space?”

“normally yes. Which is also why i also worry when it comes to space travel.”

“of course a black hole wouldn’t just come near earth right?”

“i don’t know. Why don’t you ask NASA about it?” rod said smiling

By then, NASA was also watching the talk show and the director was also annoyed that he would answer to that very question hes trying to avoid

“o-okay then. So you had that giant laser cannon and those small laser guns with you.”

“yes. That was project delta force. Though for the details of the laser guns and lasers, its confidential.”

“okay then. –“

“just to let you know, its primary use was just for digging.”

“that was used for digging?!”

“yes. Most people would just perceive that as weapons when we only created them for the greater good. And FYI, the world leaders doesn’t approve of that project being used so if you folks are making one in your back yard, you will be arrested.”

“does—“

“that include the other organizations, the black market and etc? Yes. Just to let you know, if you make it a weapon, it cants be stopped unless if you just switch it off just like a regular light. And injuries cause by it would always be fatal. Since were talking about energy here.”

“so this is the reason why the government was so very strict about people building what you have built.”

“yes. Once you have built something using energy, it becomes an energy item. If its a weapon, then its an energy weapon. So for the good of mankinds survival, please stop making it. Even if you really would want to venture to those places that i have been, i warn you.. nature isn’t that forgiving.”

“really? So you just got lucky all this time?”

“i wouldn’t exactly say lucky since it might cause me karma, but i would only say that nature has only permitted mankind a one time entry to those places.”

“so your representing mankind now.”

“nope. Its up to you on how you all will interpret it, but im just glad i got out of there alive.”

“i see. Don’t you worry about your company being hacked rod?”

“yes i do worry. Which is why i just keep the safe inventions in my database and give the dangerous designs to the world leaders. Which is why that no matter how much time they hack into our databases, all they get are just designs from students.”

In the white house where the US president was listening with his generals. “that kid is pissing me off sir.” The generals agreed as they massage their eyebrows for the worse case scenario

“what if those students or employees get kidnapped again?”

“if its to let them cough up the designs, i just let them cough up the designs to them. And if they would make them make those designs, i just said to them the truth. That without the proper materials and the facility, there is definitely no way that they can make something like that. If they would provide them with the facility, then they just build it so that they can be set free.”

“h-how irresponsible!”

“what can you really do? Even if the facility is state of the art security, once an employee is kidnapped, there is literally nothing that we can do for that employee except just to pray for his safety.”

“but wont that decrease your employees and jobs in your company?!”

“don’t worry. This is also why we have a security agency. We not only protect others but most importantly, we protect our own. And i also inform president dutuer all about the security stuff of my company so that he could also help me. After all, i can also build dangerous stuff when im only building it for the good of mankind.”

In the malacanang, president dutuer was massaging his eyebrows on what rod said

“but isn’t it true that your building weapons?”

“nope, not at all. My company has a research facility dedicated to the research and innovations for the future. Which means all that are made in the facility are checked for safety and approved by us if it can be used for good.”

“rumors say that there had already been many requests for a tour of the entire facility or to have a copy of what you have by other companies—“

“you know, i just ignore them. Do you guys even know about patent rights?! I even had everything that was made in the company patented so that i can sue anyone who even dares copy our work.”

“wow. I had nothing to say to that at all.” Micky was taken back by rods statement

“and who ever dares steal from my company would have to face the security system courtesy of the UN. Though i have been thinking back to the earlier statement about employees being made to forcefully work.. it has already occurred to us that over the days, some employees have already vanished. Why is that?”

“w-why are you saying that? You should already know the answer right?”

“yes. Though they really didn’t think i hadn’t patented all my companys work didn’t they, since im still just a new guy down the block. FYI, ever since project atlantis, i also added to my list of request from the UN to patent every of my companys work to us unless we deem it worthy to be passed on. just like the research of students in my company.”

“worthy to be passed on huh.. what if your family was abducted and made to approve?”

“that wont work since they would technically need all of us to sign that paper. And also, i would always report to the president whether if my family is being abducted so that he can also help me with my search as i help him with everything else.”

“well, i see your point. The president wouldn’t want someone else to have those inventions just for their own selfishness right?”

“i have a responsibility to oversee all my companys work. Which is why being the president of this company is definitely tiring.” Rod then stretches his shoulders

“haha. I see your seriously stressed over that. But—“

“don’t worry. My family can also fend for themselves as well. Though let me tell you this, my family doesn’t really know what we do within the company which makes it useless to make them do your bidding. Though if you would use them as a card for trade, then you got a deal. Anyways, i always report to the president. Just like what he said before.. its really easy to just destroy things but that would just be inhumane doesn’t it?”

“w-whoa.. he wouldn’t even go that far, would he?”

“if its for the countrys safety, then i agree with the presidents statement. Its really easy to destroy the evil organizations in the Philippines, but we wouldn’t do it so that we can preserve order in the country.”

“we? And what order? Doesn’t order also mean getting rid of the bad?”

“thats right. If you will do bad, then you have the law as your enemy. If you will do worse, then you will have many as your enemy. Which is why i trust the president and he trusts me. Im really a fair and just person.”

“y-you really wouldn’t—“

“i wouldn’t just destroy everything.. gosh.. that would be inhumane! And besides, there is definitely no merit in destroying things.”

“whew..” the whole world was relieved.

Dutuer even was about to send his troops but decided not to. “i trust you with this rod. Don’t mess it up.”

With this as well, evil organizations and terrorists all had to rethink of what they would do just so they could get their hands on those designs

“t-things really have gotten out of hand.. lets all go back to the topic then.”

“thank you. Although for those employees who will make weapons for terrorists, this would definitely go beyond the contract so their contract would then be declared nulled and they would be labelled by society now as terrorists. Their employee rights will immediately be revoked from the company granting them no access with anything from our databases”

“devil..” the world declared

“u-um.. this was suppose to be a talk show..” now mickey was being afraid

“yes this is. Its just that i also need to warn them before they do anything stupid. I have a responsibility to fulfil you know.”

“y-yes. Okay then. can you tell us if your next adventure was really real?”

“yes it was. I had discovered the lost city of Eldorado.”

“w-why would you just say that without any second thoughts?”

“because the public is curious right? I just have to answer the simple questions for them but leave the other details confidential.”

“sometimes, i don’t really know what to question you anymore rod or has this station gone nuts even inviting you here.”

“nope, they aren’t. Cause at this rate, me and my family wont have any peace at all with all the media t our tails all the time.”

“i-i see where this is going now. Hahh..” micky sighed at the thought of meeting this person “a-anyways, were those really—“

“yes. They were real snakes and really big and all. The biggest one yet that i have seen was the one who was constricting one of my team which was maybe 10 feet in length? And oh.. the temple in the middle is definitely plated with gold. Any more details would be confidential though.”

“okay then. so what did you found in that temple?”

“its just a temple really. And the details are classified.”

“okay then.. onto the next adventure.. it was—“

“in the Bermuda triangle”

“i see.. wait.. that was in the Bermuda triangle?!”

“yes. You see, i had a request from a certain higher up to rescue an observation boat that had gone missing over there.. maybe it was so that they can gain fame or something, i don’t know. But you all do know right on what happens when your there. unnatural magnetic polarity which renders a compass useless, no communications as it obstructs signals, and etc..”

“so how did you survive? And what were those things that you have fought back there?”

“if you have read my book, those would be called entities. They would be an accumulation of quantum energy which is also a part of the natural order of this world. So if you would disturb it too much, then you will have some hell of a nasty time with them or the distortions around the place.”

“what are distortions rod?”

“if you have seen the video, it would be those circles that opens up.”

“what are they really?”

“they would be rifts in space, time, and reality. I warn you, its definitely cold inside and once your in, you can never get out that easily.”

“so you were able to get in and out of there?”

“correction.. we have some experience with it. Though i wouldn’t even recommend even trying it. Anyways, if you mess with the natural order too much, something bad will happen and the world leaders will have more head aches than ever in dealing with the situation.”

A person then approached micky with a smartphone which announced a very shocking announcement to her.

“u-umm.. folks, i would also like you to hear the president of the Philippines on the phone. We will now put you on loudspeaker now mr president.”

“thank you miss micky. Hey rod, what are you even doing accepting an offer from a talk show?! You said earlier not to give us more headaches but your definitely giving me one hell of a headache! Do you want to get arrested?!”
“sorry mr president. But this must be done. Though i believe that i have already answered all of her questions?”

“is that true micky?!”

“u-um.. there should be more..”

“then hurry up with the questions! The whole world is now listening to this talk show so don’t mess it up!”

“don’t worry mr president, it wont be messed up.”

“hahh.. im afraid you would say that. Were currently dealing with quite a lot of request right now to show what you have given us.”

“oh? Well i would say.. what the heck.. if you want to die, be my guest.. im not ever saving you guys again. Do you think rescue work is easy? Well i have a message for all the rescue teams all around the world, hospitals, doctors, firefighters, etc.. if you still think that they are worth saving even after hearing this talk show, then be my guest. We are doing this because we also care, though as we are also human, don’t ever test our patience. And who even cares what you think.. we could just quit right now and not ever saving any more souls..” rod said with a smile

“hey rod, you cant just represent every rescue team on the planet.” Micky
“i know. Which is why my message to the world.. the hell would we care on who you are and what your request is, who the hell are you to more even the military just to help one or two foolish people? You could move me to help those people instead since its my book that cause everything in the first place? Its my responsibility now to warn everyone on the dangers that lie ahead if you would really like to go in which i just did. You would formally request for a rescue mission for your foolish son or daughter that has ventured to those parts? No way in hell will we ever go back there. you all know that all my able men were hospitalized thanks to the last mission. And the even earlier mission, most of us even had third degree burns for Christ sake! Like i said, nature isn’t that forgiving. She gave humanity a chance to get out before its too late. The choice now is yours to make as i have already warned you guys.”

“which brings us back to the question really rod. In the first place, why would you ever write that book?” micky

“like i said. It is so that my voice can be heard. In the first place, how can one person ever prove that they have been witch crafted or hypnotized? There is basically no evidence to prove that they were a victim of such acts. which leads to my decision of making a book, so that my voice can be heard and so that others would be also warned of the dangers.”

“what has lead you to even think that you have been witch crafted?”

“do you think i was normally having some kind of heart attack in the middle of the night where i would be comatosed? Definitely no. I was still being normal and on his way back to health when it happened. Normally a person would have been comatose for his entire lifetime for what i have been through, but thanks to my knowledge and by Gods blessings, i managed to wake up from my everlasting dream.”

“who do you really think you are to even think that you were chosen by God?”

“what chosen? If you meant about the memories of souls, there is definitely no way to prove that all of that is true. Since the spirits would also trick someone sometimes into thinking something. Though they would sometimes also speak truth, just like with the city of Eldorado.”

“thats not what i mean. What i mean is—“

“im not chosen by God or anything. Im just a human who just wants to create a better world just like the world leaders. If you really think im all crap, then your free to think that way.”

“what? you would just—“

”ignorance is bliss.” Rod said with an evil smile

“oh boy, he finally said it.” President

After that, the murmurs in the audience stopped and wondered what rod meant with his last statement.

“is that all miss micky?” rod

“u-um..” micky was at a loss of words back then in his last statement

“if thats all, i would like to go home now. So if you all would need anything, please go to the world leaders so that they can provide you with something that you want.” Rod said smiling as he waved goodbye to the audience

“you know, i would love to hug that guy right now.” President

“why is that mr president?”

“because he has already given enough warnings to mankind. But knowing him and his temper over those who just cant understand, he finally said the words that everyone just forgot. If you haveread his book. The memories of souls of Ghandi and king Gilgamesh were there.. they were loved by the people to the point where the people were too greedy to even see that they are just normal people. Good thing he also had the souls of other kings so that it will help him with his decision.”

“w-what are you talking about sir?”

“just read his damn book and see all those memories of past heroes yourself. Ignorance is bliss right? If you want, we can give you a copy of the names of those memories of souls that he has written. If only we agree that is..”

The president then hangs up the phone leaving the talk show with an ominous feeling of awkwardness.
