Chapter 7_2

The drones being sent would include regular drones built with very long distance transmission capabilities even though small in size and the drill drones which would also send data over a long distance towards the ships stationed just right outside the atmosphere of the planet. Then after some hours, as Neptune is even much farther from Uranus, the starwave arrived with the same materials as the starlord, drones, energy domes, and project paper planes.

“this is the star wave preparing to deploy drones.”

“okay star wave, you are clear to go.”

With that, the star wave fleet deployed the drones into planet Neptune.Then as the flying drones went inside neptunes atmosphere, it couldn’t take in the fierce winds which was always raging on the planet though the drill drones were able to make it and took the data needed. But as the drill drones collected the data, the men at the star wave fleet were shocked to see that some of the drones saw marine life on the planet as the surface of the planet was filled with liquid. But as they couldn’t also take back any sample of the liquid on Neptune, the star wave just reported this to HQ.

In the meantime, rod was also monitoring the progress for each of the missions in outer space.

“gosh rod, I really love you for this.” Stacey said being happy

“yeah. Obtaining permission from the world leaders to also share video feed of the entire project exodus is a great enough achievement as it is.” flores

“nope. Rod just asked permission for access to all 8 satellites ever since our rescue days.” Sheryl

“okay okay. I get it. but look at the progress of the project, I cant believe we have now achieved all this in a matter of just 1 or 2 days.” Stacey

“maybe we will even stumble upon some life out there. Though the chances for that is slim right Stacey?” yukiko

“yes. even still, just see how beautiful each planet are up close.” Stacey

“so do you guys want to go to outer space?” maria

“umm..pass..” Sheryl

“me too. After all that we have been through, we have been in enough dangers as it is.” flores

“yes. lets all focus first on our future.” Yukiko

Then a few hours later, they saw an incoming report where the star wave was able to pick readings of life in neptune.

“wow! Stacey, I think the slim chance is finally here.” rod

“I cant believe my eyes. Life on Neptune.” Yukiko

“though I might understand why. Ever since the dawn of time, species on earth has evolved from the water before they adapted to land.” Stacey

“it says on the data that there are no land at all. its just pure liquid though they couldn’t pick up any samples due to the harsh weather on the planet.” Maria

“what would they do next huh.” Rod said as they all pay close attention to what the next move would be.

Meanwhile, as the world leaders arrived back at their respective offices, they then received reports about the missions.

“looks like they are all doing well.” One of the world leaders said as they had a private meeting again

“yes. they all are.”

“project terra on mars proceeded to phase 2 which was making the same environmental dome as with the moon right?”

“yes. in time, crops will grow in there and we will now have food for the future humans who might want to settle in there.”

“how about Jupiter?”

“proceeding smoothly as well. Rods plan really works though they were able to detect signs on a few entities living just further away from the center. And it seems that it has no solid surface inside it. they are also beginning construction for space colonies inside its ring”

“yes. im just glad that they were able to obtain all the data needed from that stormy planet.”

“whats the drone made of again? and how can it survive the rocky orbit of Jupiter?”

“the drones were all made out of plastic which made it nonconductive. And we also had the space colonies to be designed with rubber at the sides so that it will bounce off any rocks it may encounter.”

“now that’s a lot of plastic and rubber to base on. Good thing the Philippines has a lot of it.”

“how about Saturn?”

“yes. its also proceeding smoothly like in Jupiter. And just like in Jupiter, there seems to be someentities living at the center as well.”

“its as if entities all came from another planet or something right?”

“we don’t know since they also never told any one of us. Rod even asked but they didn’t tell him the truth.”

“what about uranus? How is it?”

“weather there is a bit windy but manageable for the drones. They also took many data for the planets surface and it seems that its all covered in ice.”

“looks like the drill drones couldn’t also penetrate the ice much further than a 7 kilometers.”

“still, that’s really an achievement there. So how about Neptune.”

“that’s where it gets surprising actually. It seems that there is marine life on it and the planets surface is mostly made out of liquid.”

“isn’t it suppose to be filled with water?”

“since the drones couldn’t take any samples from the planet because of the turbulent winds on the planet, we couldn’t determine what kind of liquid it was. And when the drill drones all reached at a certain depth in the liquid, it also then compressed the drones thus flattening it like pancakes just like under the deep waters of earth.”

“it says here that investigations are still continuing as they request to send out project paper plane to retrieve samples? Are they crazy? It would be madness to even go in there with very turbulent winds and all.”

“its fine. As long as they just pick up samples and leave safely, its all alright.”

“I hope your right about this. Though whats the progress for the remaining gravitons for the trip for Pluto?”

“still constructing. Maybe 3 more would do and china, Russia, japan, and the Philippines are also helping with the others. As well as with the milky way fleet.”

“I hope it finishes on time.”

“how long until it finishes?”

“maybe about 2 or 3 more years. Though we are also going as fast as we can.”

“just relax. We can just take it easy for a while as the others are still busy with the other missions right?”

“yes, your right.”

“hmm.. would this now adjourne the meeting? I still have a date with my daughter.”

“o-okay. the reports are all good anyway so might as well.”

“alright then guys. Meeting adjourned.”

Transmission then ended

“sir, we received a go signal to get some samples and go inside the planet using project paper plane.”

“I hope this baby can fly the bull ride, cause its going to be very bumpy from now on.”

“okay then. Informing team lightning rod for the go signal and proceed with caution with the journey.”

“yes. please do that cadet. I hope that we wouldn’t find any trouble in here.”

With that, their project paper plane was being pulled down by some excaliburs into the neptunes atmosphere where it then rode along with the turbulent winds of Neptune. The team there was then having much trouble with the maneuvers and their navigation systems due to the turbulent winds that they hang on to their lives for a ride of a lifetime. Then after some time of difficult maneuvering, they were able to crash land at the liquid.

Some men then got out of the ship using portable life boats to get some samples of the liquid themselves when they saw many unknown marine life on the liquid. As the environment was a bit dark because the planet is far away from the sun, they shone their flashlights so that they can see clearly.Some used a stick so that they could get a sample and some tries to touch the liquid with their hands. Though sometimes, some marine life would bite on the stick as like normal fish would do and many unknown marine life all swim on the surface of the liquid.

All the men all wore a unique design of a space suit where it had some thickness to it but with the helmet design of the iron suits that rod and his team wore.

Then after some hours of obtaining samples while some captures some marine life on the liquid, they then saw a giant jellyfish like figure surfacing from the liquid at a distance. One of the men saw this and called another as they saw it surface. They shone their flashlights on the giant jellyfish that has come to the surface when they saw a couple of dark eyes trying to see through the light but then evaded the lights and plunged back towards the liquid.

After a few minutes, one of the two men was grabbed and brought down towards the liquid where he saw the giant tentacles of the giant jellyfish. As he screamed, he then saw a face under those tentacles from the dim lights being shone from his helmet. He then examined it and saw that it had a human like figure from top to bottom. The man surfaced along with the giant jellyfish like creature and slowly guided it into the lifeboat. Though it was still somewhat afraid of the lights being shone into it, the man guided the giant jellyfish like creature into the lifeboat where they loaded it into the paper plane.

Inside the paper plane, lights shone brightly as the jellyfish like creature was brought on board lying face down on the ground. As the crew examined it, it had a jellyfish like hair sticking out of its head as it had a human like body structure of a female. Though it had a human like body structure of a female, its legs were slightly stuck together with a layer of its skin, also it had some sort of small crevice in its lower belly where it also got the attention of the crew. Then as one of them touched the small crevice, it gave out a slight shout just like a moan and reached out its hands to get the crews hands off the small crevice.

But as both their hands touched, there was then some sort of quantum surge through both of them that had the jellyfish like creature now able to see through the light and was able to take a clear look at the whole crew who were all shocked and stood back. Then the jellyfish creature struggled for a bit and a certain change was then observed with it as it suddenly tore off the slight skin on its legs and its eyes shrank now as if its in a form of two clear eyes.

after it transformed, it suddenly examined the crew as if in fear and tries to get back outside but it suddenly couldn’t see that well now in the darkness of their planet and just sat there at the side of the entrance where it then saw another one of its kind being dragged into the ship. It then touched the hands of the other jellyfish creature which reacted the same way and they both go towards the side of the entrance where it cowers in fear, both of their hands touching each other.

“chris, you guys need to stop all this right now! that’s an order! We already have enough samples as it is!”

“b-but there are so many marine life in here sir! We—“

“fools! Get back here ASAP or else we will leave you all!”

“yes sir!”

“Bridgett, please get these creatures to a container now.”

“y-yes sir!”

the woman in the crew then slowly approaches the jellyfish creatures and slowly guided them to the cargo hold where a huge container was waiting for them. And since they don’t know yet how to walk, the jellyfish creatures crawled all the way. They also rebuilt the structure of every paper plane so that it can filter the air around as they enter into the ship. With this, the jellyfish like creatures then had a hard time breathing as they crawled towards the cargo hold and into the container where the woman filled the container immediately with the liquid before carrying them into the container. And as the container was like one of those tubes where it can house about 5 human bodies, the 2 jellyfish creatures were safe from dying for now since they haven’t yet adopted to the air inside the ship.

After securing all the samples and getting all the crew back to the ship, their paper plane then flew back upwards facing on the raging winds of the planet until they finally got to the edge of the planets atmosphere where one of the Excalibur standing by to haul their paper plane back towards space and into the star wave. As all of the samples were then carried towards one of the ships, the crew of that ship saw the 2 jellyfish creatures which were now both very afraid as the crew all saw in wonder.

“this is the star wave to command, do you hear?”

“this is japan center speaking.”

“we have secured all samples for the planet Neptune. Science ship now proceeding back to earth.”

“star wave, you are clear to come back.”

“roger. Now jumping back to earth. And you guys wont believe what we just got here.”

With that, the science ships for every fleet just came back from each planet to bring back samples and data.

“rod, take a look at this!” yukiko just woke rod up from his nap on his chair

Rod just fell asleep from watching the news and monitoring the mission all day as they hear and see the transmissions going in and out.

“o-okay..whats up?”

“look at the monitor! The science ships just arrived!” yukiko

“okay then.. wake up girls!” rod said as he examined the whole bridge as the girls also fell asleep

“rod. take a look at one of the ships samples. Its truly incredible!”

“yukiko. what were you doing all this time that your still not sleeping? Its still 7am.”

“I got up just so that I could tend to makki and taiga. Nevermind that, look at the data right now!”

Rod then took a closer look at one of the samples as Stacey also just got up to watch the monitor and they all saw a picture of 2 jellyfish like creatures aboard one of the ships from star wave.”

“wow! What the hell is that?!” Sheryl said as all of them were amazed

“yukiko, set course now for the stratosphere. Were going to space!” rod said immediately

“yes rod. right away.” Yukiko then walks towards her station and drove the origami upwards

“hey rod, should we really go there?” maria

“yes we should! It’s the find of the century! Our first contact maria!” Stacey

“whats the status of the other science ship now?”

“letssee.. the one from mars just got data for only a few entities on it as well as rock samples as always, though mars is huge so it might take more time to fully encompass it. The one from Jupiter just got samples of the gas and some energy that they harvested from the planet, though they also found that there are also a few entities living right inside the planet. It seems that there wasn’t quite any solid surface in the middle of Jupiter as their drones all passed through straight. The one from Saturn is the same as jupiters data and both ships with samples from Jupiter and Saturn are now analyzing the samples that they got. The one from Uranus just got data from the planet and it seems its all covered in ice as the weather there is temperate. They have gotten samples from the ice and from the air and are now analyzing it. The one from Neptune on the other hand, they got a lot of samples of unknown marine life and those 2 creatures.” Stacey said as she scans through all the pictures being sent from the ships

“wow. And whats left now is the one for pluto. Anyways, lets all hurry up towards the ship from star wave.” Rod

“even I couldn’t believe my eyes as there is life on that far away planet!” kaori

“it also seems that the ships just reported all their data to each space command center throughout the world and each is now contacting the world leaders as we speak.” Flores

“what are their responses maria? Does the world leaders all now have a response?”

“it seems that the NASA command center and the US government are celebrating while we still haven’t heard from the command center from Egypt. The command centers from Russia, china, and japan might still be asleep since there is also no response.” maria

“hmm.. the Arabic nations might now all be shocked at what they have found out there as well as ponder in wonder.” Rod

“what do you think would happen now rod? with mans first contact?” Sheryl

“I don’t know. But we will try to find out soon.”

With that, they have now arrived just above the stratosphere where rod, Stacey, and yukiko launched from the Excalibur that was already attached at the top of the origami. They all agreed and left maria, flores, kaori and sheryl on the ship to watch over the origami. Rod, Stacey, and yukiko were all in their iron suits as they launched into space and heading directly towards the science ships.

“this is the excalibur 1, rod mason, can you hear me star wave?” rod said on the comms as he drove the excalibur

“this is the star wave. What are you doing here rod mason?”

“we are here to also examine the 2 specimens you brought on board.”

“wait a minute. I would need permission from control to open the docking bay for you”

“don’t worry. I have permission from the Philippine president for order number 1365-0. Please check it in your systems for records.”

“please wait one minute sir.”

After a few seconds.

“yes. I have confirmed order number and will now welcome you rod mason, to the star wave science ship.”

“thank you star wave, over.”

Then the transmission ended

“hey girls, you all alright?”

“first time in space and itskinda fun.” Stacey said being excited

“well, it’s a first for me too but I totally have no words to describe this experience. Though im totally excited for what lies ahead.” Yukiko

“yeah! This is totally the first step for mankind you know! First big step towards the universe!” Stacey said raising her arms

“haha. Not yet for thee universe Stacey, just our solar system. But we will get there in time, the path is already set.”

“and whats left is just to walk in the right direction.” Yukiko said smiling

“even still, im totally excited.” Stacey

“just pump it down wont you Stacey? You being rod now?” yukiko

“hmm?” rod just looked at yukiko having no idea what shes saying

“nevermind. Just drive rod.” yukiko said to rod as Stacey was busy with all the thoughts of what their first contact be like.

They then dock the Excalibur just outside the star wave science ship and into a hatch where they were greeted by some of the crew. Then inside the ship, they then went straight to the cargo hold where they kept the container with the 2 jellyfish creatures and with the captain of the science ship waiting for their arrival.

“hi rod mason! Im captain Ernesto padrigal from the Philippine navy.” The captain said as rod and the girls approached him.

The captain was watching the 2 jellyfish creatures before they arrived at the cargo bay.

“hello captain. We are here to observe for mankinds first contact.” Rod said as the girls bowed to greet the captain

There was low gravity on the ship as rod and the girls floated towards the captain.

“hmm.. that’s the real questions here rod. just how will mankind make contact with these guys.”

“why is that captain?” Stacey

“because when one of the crew touched one of it, it sent a surging pain towards the brain of that crew member where he had a slight headache. He stumbled back towards the surprise as it also sent some kind of electricity into his skin and at that time, these things changed and cowered in fear.”

“can we have a picture or a video of what they were before they changed?” Stacey

“sure.” The captain pointed towards one of the monitors. “see there in that paused video that the creatures eyes were different before. And its legs too. I wonder what really triggered it.”

“lets all see and find out.” Rod then approached the container where the 2 jellyfish creatures seemed like still afraid.

Stacey then follows rod and both of them examines the jellyfish creature.

“hmm.. they seem to have the body structure of a human though they clearly evolved from the sea.” Stacey said as she notices their fin like feet.

“their eyes are now like ours and is clearly telling that they are afraid. It also seems they have small teeth.Did you guys do a CT scan on them?” rod

“no, not yet. But we will once the equipment arrives from earth.”

“you still don’t have anything to scan a creature and you brought everything to scan and analyze rocks?” yukiko

“sorry about that. Since the government is now on a tight budget. Seems like tourism in the Philippines is getting lower it seems since last year.”

“shouldn’t you not say that out loud?” yukiko

“yes. but you guys are the only ones here so what the heck.”

“hahh..” yukiko sighs

“hey captain. You said that when the crew member touched it right? so how come they were able to get into these containers? Do they shock just like jellyfish here on earth?” stacey

“our scientists tested its tentacles around its head for any poison from the mucus around its body but we didn’t find anything. They were also about to test whether it emits electricity but those things are still too afraid to cooperate.”

“I see. What if I try touching it?” rod

“no way rod! you don’t know what it might do to you! You heard what happened to the crew member right?” yukiko

“alright then. Though I will try just this once. If its really painful, I will withdraw immediately.” rod

“you better be sure what your doing rod. there is no telling what might become of them or you after you touch it.”

“I wont say don’t worry and I would be lying if I said im not afraid, but I will only say that it’s the first step to knowing of another specie in our solar system. An alien life form.” Rod

“o-okay then rod. even though im just as curious as you are, please do be careful.” Stacey

Rod then nodded and took off his gloves to touch one hand to the glass and smiled. There, the jellyfish creature then slowly goes near rod and touched its hand or hand-fin into the glass as well. Its hand was linke a hand-fin where it had some sort of small scales on its palm. From that point, a surge of electricity flowed in rods veins as he could feel the electricity flowing towards his brain. Though he felt a bit of pain in his hands, as the electricity flowed really fast into his brain, the jellyfish then gave a face of question.

“hey rod, are you hurt? Is it painful?” yukiko

“it stings a little but im alright.”

The jellyfish creature then seemed to be happy as it was now smiling the same way as rod.

“rod, please tell me whats happening.” Stacey

“hmm.. I think they might be looking into us through touch. Just like a quantum link.” rod

“amazing! This means that we can communicate through touch!” the captain said as everyone in the cargo hold suddenly gathers as they noticed rod touching the glass

Rod nodded. “but I would still need some time to figure out how to communicate with it.”

“what do you mean?” Stacey

“right now, im not thinking of anything but just telling the truth on what I feel.” Rod

“hmm.. they seem to be happy with you rod. how about saying something to them?” yukiko

“I will try.”

Rod then thinks of a question in words but they only reacted with a questionable face. As rod knew after a while that they didn’t understand what hes saying, he thought of an image of water and nodded.

“what is it saying rod?” Stacey

“for now, im only thinking if they came from the water and they nodded. That’s all.” rod

“huh? Cant you just question them directly?” Stacey

“nope. It seems that they cant understand our words.” Rod

“so let them learn our language then.” Yukiko

“a-alright. I will try.”

Then at the same time that rod was about to question them again, there was a call for the captain.

“sir! You got a call!”

“from who?”

“it’s a conference call from the world leaders.”

“so they now received our message huh. Put them through.”

The cadet then passes a tablet where the captain pointed the camera at them all.

“this is the captain of the star wave science ship speaking.”

“whats the status of the ones you guys found on Neptune?”

“umm.. you wont believe this but rod mason is currently communicating with them.”

“what!!!!!!!!”

“why the hell is he there?!”

“he got permission from the Philippine president as a part of the external groups to also do scientific research on the ships.” Captain

All of them looked at the Philippine president

“uhh.. don’t look at me. He asked if he can help with the science stuff so I agreed.”

“hahh.. okay then. There is no use since hes already there.”

“I hope he knows what hes doing.”

“yes he is, I think.” Captain

“can we watch rod mason as well?”

“sure.”

The captain then passes the tablet to a cadet to hold on to it so that they could know and see how rod is communicating. And during with all the commotion, rod then passes onto the jellyfish creatures all the English words that he knew and understood before asking a question via mind link. “can you tell me your memories?”. Then at that moment, the creature smiled and then rod enters a trance where he was shown their life underwater.

Rod then enters some sort of simulation where he is now the creature. The jellyfish creatures are a race of underwater creatures where they could sense their surroundings and communicate with each other via touch or echolocation. And for as long as they could remember, they would eat many kinds of marine life swimming on the water and just mate with a male counterpart where it had almost the same features as the female counterpart but without the breast and the curves at the side of the body.

And throughout its memory, it can only remember of the same thing over and over again, to eat and swim. And throughout its years, it saw the male counterpart always fighting against themselves for the right to mate with other females though their ways of fighting were intense as a whole flock of males all fight to the death until one survives or the others would run away. As it now remembers from its recent memories, it now only saw a very few males, just about 5 to 6 more left under the water whereas the females are many in number. The creatures would also only swim a certain depth and never going even further down below as they also sleep with their tentacles always wobbling keeping them from sinking further.

Then the flow of memories finally stopped as rod snapped out of the trance and was very tired. It took a few seconds before everything sink in where he then spoke to the crowd on what he saw.

“like wow. It was like on a simulation game only that I became the character. And I could also feel what they feel as well. Now I know how it feels on the other end of the bed.” Rod said with complex feelings

“really? That means that their race is almost running out. Though based on the number of years in Neptune, it’s a total of many earth years which now makes it very old.” Stacey

“so they are always doing the same things as our animals have been, only that the males would duke it out until the last man standing.” Captain

“hey rod mason, since you have also fed it with our language, can it speak now?” one of the world leaders said

“let me ask.” Rod then asks it if it could speak.

The creature just had a question face where rod just had to act before it finally got it.

“a—a—a—raa—“ the creature had a difficult time as it was still on the water

“hold on. Let me have 2 of them learn how to speak.” Rod

“hold it there rod. since they also got legs, why don’t you also teach it how to walk?”

“hmm.. good idea. Though it would just be troublesome to do everything one by one so I will just teach it everything it needs to know.” Rod

“hold it rod! what do you mean teach it everything?! What if they would attack or something!”

“don’t worry. If taught well, they would become a friendly race for us to become friends with.” Rod

“ooohh.. I hope you know what your doing rod. we wont be accountable on whatever will happen to the crew on that ship.”

By then, all the crew on the cargo hold had many doubts as they murmur around and the captain now sweating in both fear and excitement.

“yes, I do.” Rod then held out his hand towards Stacey and yukiko. “why don’t you girls help me with teaching them what they need to know?”

“o-okay then. If you say that its safe.” Yukiko

“so, what will we teach them?” Stacey

“everything that we know, feel, and our memories except our secrets.” Rod said only to them and they agreed

And as the whole crowd braced themselves for the event as well as ignoring multiple complaints from the other world leaders, rod then touches both his hands at the glass while the girls touched both their hands to each of rods hands as the 2 creatures both touched each of rods hands for the multi-way connection.

“ow!” the girls shouted as they received the shock

“well, that’s just the first step. Though once your connected, you wont feel any pain. And please empty your minds for this one time and think of only what you want to teach them cause I can also feel a bit of your worries.” Rod

“s-sorry rod. I kinda freaked out.” Stacey

“me too. Lets try that again.” yukiko said as both girls nodded

Now trying once more, the 3 of them would now connect to both of the creatures sharing all that they know about human history, science, English, and facts about animals on earth. But then the creatures both disconnected and went back as if now afraid of them. Even still, that didn’t stop them from still touching the glass and smiling in front of them.

“what are they doing?”

“now they seem like afraid of us.”

“they have the right to be afraid of us. They are more primitive than us in all aspects.”

“don’t worry guys. Since during the link, they both could feel all our characters so they would return the connection.” Rod

“can we stop all this for now?”

“how about we dissect them instead?”

“hold it guys. Lets just wait and see as rod does his thing. He knows what hes doing.”

Then after a few seconds, the creatures were both wavering but they eventually reached out again to the hands on the glass. And as they established the link again, this time, the creatures saw their memories and feelings. Memories of their adventures, each others life, their adventures, the bad times and the good times. And feelings from all their bad times, their good times, their feelings towards each adventure, during their wedding and sex, and all the wisdom that they have gained throughout their years. This time, the creatures then reached out to both hands with both of their hands and smiled as they also felt their warmth. This was also when Stacey and yukiko both saw what rod saw, the memories of the creatures. But then as they finished teaching them, the link was immediately cut and they saw the hands of the creatures having their scales fall off as they face the crowd.

“now, its safe to let them out.” Rod

“oohh.. I hope your right about this. Men, open the container.” Captain

“what?! Don’t you open it!”

“what the hell is wrong with you people?!”

“its just simple. We will trust rod on this. Besides, if it gets tough, rod will always save us.” Captain

“that’s just so irresponsible.”

2 of the men then looked at each other with uncertainty as they laid the container on the floor and opened it only to jump in zero gravity and run.

“oh.. by the way, whats the reading of the liquid and atmosphere on their planet?” Stacey

“u-umm.. the liquid is a like water but only it has more hydrogen than oxygen and the air is composed of pure oxygen gases.” One of the scientists on the crowd said as the crowd behind the captain has now multiplied into the whole crew of the ship where some also brought tablets filming the event and transmitting it to the other ships.

“okay. they would adapt to our air real soon maybe.” Rod

“maybe? Whats that suppose to mean?!”

As the crowd was either murmuring or commenting on the event, the 2 creatures then got up from the container and tried to breathe the air. At first they had a little difficulty but they were then being caressed at the back by rod and the girls and after a few minutes, they calmed down and breathe the air around. Rod and the girls all help the creatures stand as they both took their first steps forward.

“don’t worry guys. The females are all harmless compared to the males.” Rod

“nope. And their mucus was already tested without poison right?” yukiko said with a smile of certainty

“a—aa---aaa---hh—hello..” one of the creatures finally said.

“great, they now speak our language.”

“but the only thing here is that they somehow lost their ability to mind link.”

“what?!!”

“you can look at our hands right? we are all holding them.” Stacey

“c-can I touch them?” said one in the crowd

“pervert.” Stacey looks at the crowd of men with suspicious eyes as the girls on the crowd disperse far while the captain face palms.

“haha. Unfortunately, no. you will trouble them as it will trouble a regular female being touched all over her body.” rod

“so what are you waiting for? Lets test them.” Stacey

“y-yes maam!” the scientists said as they immediately rumbled on who will take the tests

“what if we will do it instead Stacey? This way, they would trust us.” Yukiko

“no. both of you aren’t used to taking blood and stuff so let us professionals handle it.”

“right after I claim the right to do it!”

“hahh.. guys! There are 2 of them! Make up your minds!” captain

“I will take the samples. You fools just rumble there. You think im not trained for this?” Stacey said as she lets one of the creatures sit on a chair

She then grabbed a syringe and a cotton and she injected the creature to take its blood. The creature was very surprised at first but it was calmed down by yukiko as it cries. After collecting the red blood of the creature, she then examines its reflexes and checked its eyes.

“say rod, what should we call them?” yukiko

“hmm.. now that I think about it..” rod said after letting the other one sit down.

“hey rod! are those jellyfish going to be a problem or not?”

“not sir. And hold on..were thinking of a name for them.” rod

“this isn’t the time to be calling them names! This is the time for us to know more about them!”

“yes. dissect them!”

“will you guys shut up! Imagine yourself being in their places. These females are all still like babies for Christ sake!” Stacey

“then what should we do about them?” captain

“we will hold on to them for the meantime and teach them our ways.” Yukiko

“then how will we get more samples out of them?”

“hahh.. we can just get more right? there is a planet with a bunch of them. Besides, were still not done collecting samples in there.” Captain

“thank you captain. We will take care of the jellydolsfor now.” rod

“why jellydols?”

“how can you be sure it isn’t a threat to mankind? Fishes in the sea also attack their own kind right?!”

“we know what we saw and the females wont attack. Though depending on how we, humanity, teach them, they will become our friends.” Yukiko

“teach them? Didn’t you guys already taught them everything with that link of yours?”

“nope. Not everything they needed to learn if they are going to stay on earth.” Rod said as he smiled

With that, they have now left 4 out of 5 viles of jellydol blood with the scientists as rod and the girls carry both of the jellydols with them to Excalibur 1 and head back to earth.

“rod mason. We have reached a majority vote and we hereby nullify your permit to enter the science ships. Now hand over those jellydols as you call it.” An incoming transmission came to the Excalibur 1 from the world leaders representative

“hahh.. fine. We will get more samples for you guys.” Rod

“are you guys even human?” yukiko

“shut up and do as we say or else be shot down to the ground. Not only that, it would also mean war with the Philippines as well as shooting down the origami.”

“like we said.. are you guys even human?”

“the moment you got those things on your side, your already not human.”

“you guys are the ones insane!” Stacey

Then another transmission came.

“this is the captain of star wave science ship. It’s a bit ahead of schedule but all science ships agreed to collect more samples so we will all be going ahead.”

“what?! This is treason!”

“this is in commendation of rods bravery for the situation and in taming a wild creature. As a fellow scientist, he plunged himself knowing full well of the dangers which we all respect. And as a fellow leader, we all respect his decision as the right decision. For now, the star wave still doesn’t have any CT scanners so we also agreed to do our jobs while waiting for our request.”

“those things must be dissected so that we will know how to destroy them if they turn on us! Ignorance is bliss right?!”

“we are humans. If destroying is what humans would do, then were glad to be like rod mason. The hero who will bring peace.”

“s-sir! We have a problem!” the representative said running off

Both transmissions then ended with each captain of each science ship saluting rod as they all go off on their journey to collect more data.

*ring*

“hello hurricane industries. This is Stacey initiating project castle peak right now.”

“y-yes maam!”

Stacey then ended the call from one of the back seat inside the Excalibur. With the 2 jellydols at their backs with their seatbelts, the Excalibur 1 then descends towards earths atmosphere and docking into the origami as they flew back towards rods home town where a giant dome was slowly being made about 3 kilometers away from the port. The dome was made from cube parts being made under the newly expanded port Sistine and where it surfaced on the water just 3 kilometers away from the port and slowly being assembled.

As the origami now arrived and landed just right beside the dome where the shades from the dome opens up to show a house in the middle and a very big garden without any plants in it yet. Then under the water, rod and the girls then geared up with their suits and swam under the dome towards the open area where the pond is located and surfaced there along with the children and the 2 jellydols who swam with them.

*ring*

“hello mr president.” Rod answered the phone

Rod was still in the garden where the girls and the jellydols were all enjoying the scene and sigh of their new home

“hello my butt rod! you really made the other world leaders pissed at you! You should have given them the jellydols while it was still early. Though no matter, since the science ships just turned back to get more data and samples on the other planets.”

“you know mr president, the moment they said that they would dissect these jellydols was the moment I realized that I must save at least them from their suffering.”

“even though your retired from rescue work, here you are still being a hero—“

“after all sir. What use is being a human if you wont be responsible for the lives of all creatures.”

“even if they are alien?”

“yes. though I know what we saw back there and I assure you that these females are harmless.”

“how can you be sure of that rod?”

“I don’t. I just felt it from them when all their memories rushed into us.”

“hahh.. fine. I will trust you on this. but from now on, your off— hold on a sec.”

After a second.

“what?! They are really doing stuff as they please over there.”

“whatever it is sir, we will hold full responsibility over these jellydols.”

“its not that. After the science ships all told your story and saw the video, they said that rod is still free to visit the science ships since they would still need his help in case if this happens again.”

“o-okay then. No comment.”

“hahh.. fine. We will protect you and your jellydolsso you better be good now rod and don’t ever do something like that again.”

“hmm.. those geezers really are a pain.”

“I know right? and whats up with that dome that your in rod?”

“this is our newest design called project castle peak. It was suppose to be for Neptune but after analyzing the possibilities and the planets properties, we just decided it to be our home.”

“so that’s your new home now?”

“yes. our new home. This way, the world leaders can observe me like always as we take care of the jellydols here on earth.”

“you and your insane ideas.”

“its not insane sir. This is me being human. Besides sir, from the memories we received from the jellydols, the male population in there is decreasing so they are slowly becoming endangered.”

“seriously? You guys were diving into their memories? But how?”

“this is my theory sir. Would you like to hear it?”

“try me.”

“my theory is that on their planet, they are still a primitive life form which thrives on just eating, sleeping, and having sex just like our animals do in here. And since their planet is filled with liquid with no land, they weren’t able to evolve and advance just like us. But after meeting us, they gradually change to suit their environment and evolved further unlike being there on there on Neptune.”

“how can you be sure that that change will not destroy us?”

“Im sure of it. Since according to the data, they totally are defenseless, like literally. They might have tentacles in their hair just like a jellyfish but it wont emit electricity or contain any poison. They also don’t have any nails or talons unlike us.”

“so your saying were more dangerous than them, am I right?”

“yes. didn’t you hear my video with the entities?”

“what? Whats that got to do with this?”

“one of the things they said were that humans only destroy. True that humans so far only knows how to destroy stuff, but we can also save. With great power—“

“nope. No plans up my sleeve sir. I have already given everything mankind needs and now, mankind must do its part as the protector of the solar system. And you must also know, the entities are always watching our every move.”

“you have talked to them right? what are they really?”

“I also don’t know the answer to that sir. They just never told me. But it’s a fact that they punish foolish humans or destroy our brain processing.”

“whats that suppose to mean?”

“meaning they can just let us live or die. Just what happens when a brain stops?”

“okay okay. I get it. But don’t worry about that, humankind also has a means of containing them.”

“they are many and very powerful sir. Just how can you ever contain many entities working together to wipe our the human race?”

“I got no comeback for that. Anyways, this is you first and last warning rod.—“

“soits now defy us and you will suffer right?”

“somewhere along those lines. I do agree with protecting the jellydols but the rest of them just doesn’t sit easy with the whole situation and all. Specially the generals.”

“sir, don’t worry about that, I wont make anymore reckless moves. But hear this sir, I feel that there will be an impending danger to us all later in the near future.”

“what danger? Aliens? You—“

“that and more meteors and specially, other humans.”

“what are you saying? Specially humans? Have you gone nuts?”

“you saw the reactions of the other world leaders right? when in fear, humans will always do stupid things.”

“how about you? Were you afraid in facing those jellydols?”

“sure I was. But I felt that they wont be a problem because of many reasons aside from my instincts like their planet being filled with only some kind of water. Besides, the jellydols that time was in containers and there was no way they would get out with their constitution. And if there would be something that happened to me, then you guys will know if you should kill it or fry it.”

“what are they? Sushi? We don’t eat aliens you know.”

“I know. Its just a figure of speech. And lastly, they were not in my dream.”

“your book again.”

“yes. ever since you guys took a look at the alien remains on the secret government facility, some of your opinions about project exodus changed am i right?”

“y-yes, maybe so. But still, that was reckless even for you.”

“I admit it, it was very stupid. But after hearing what happened with one of the crew when they touched one of them, it just clicked to me that they might be wanting to communicate.”

“why do you think so?”

“instincts. And both of them were seriously afraid as if they knew what would happen to them. Oh yeah, I happen to also find a memory from them that they saw themselves in a tube to be experimented and dissected on. Maybe that’s what got them afraid in the first place.”

“hmm.. maybe. But what about the mind link? Can we still talk to them?”

“the mind link is gone sir. In exchange for their voice. This is just my theory but as also said in my book, God forbade us to go into the quantum. Which means that the more that they have learned about humanity, the more that they were disqualified in being able to mind link.”

“meaning if we don’t link up with them, we can go to the quantum?”

“sir, you know what humanity can do which was why we were disqualified in the first place. And you know, the entities are always watching along with God.”

“so what? If we just take out the brains of just a few of them they would take us all out?”

“you wont know sir. Humans are quite greedy so in the worst case scenario that if they just wipe out a whole planet of them, we might just be next. This is also called karma.”

“you wont know that. With great power comes with great responsibility right? humanity isn’t that bad as you really think.”

“oh? Just because there are a planet of them which makes them perfect sushi material? Remember what I said sir, they are about to go extinct. We shouldn’t always mess with Gods creations.”

“I know. But what happened to the tower of babel? Wasn’t God already mad enough with humans by going towards him?”

“rod, now your talking about religion here.”

“religion or not sir, its seriously wrong to let something as harmless as the jellydols go extinct because were just curious and greedy.”

“just how can you sympathize with them rod? their not even human. That’s what others are saying you know.”

“the moment they said that is the time they stopped being human. Besides, haven’t we humans already done enough harm with our planet that we must also do it on other planets? This would just be like those reptilians you know.”

“how would you know rod? you already succeeded in making peace with one alien race, so its also possible with another right?”

“how can you be sure that they wont eat you instead mr president. You heard what happened with drake and his team.”

“damn it! If you could do it, then why cant we?”

“alright then sir. Lets all make a bet. I will give up going back to the science ships and give up access with the satellites if you can manage to make peace with at least one of the jellydols. If not, then I get to keep my access with the satellites and keep going back to the science ships. Simple right?”

“you sure about that rod? the satellite access was so that you could help us monitor the world against the use of energy weapons as you said.”

“yes, im sure. That is if only you guys could make peace with them.”

“then how did you do it rod? make peace with them.”

“its really unfair that your asking that from me mr president. I already gave you guys a handicap.”

“that was your handicap?”

“should we bet then if any single human would kill and do something to those jellydols?”

“u-umm.. no thanks. The current bet is fine. I will take to them about this. those old geezers would really love to hear this.”

“okay then. I gotta go now and plant seeds into our new garden.”

“sure. I will also make sure that I get ready for my first contact.”

The president ended the call.

“hey rod, who were you calling back then?” Sheryl said as she and yukiko walked towards rod carrying a bag of seeds

The girls and the jellydols were all learning on how to plant seeds for the plants for the garden.

“just the president wanting to make sure I did the right thing.” Rod

“did you tell them how we did it?” yukiko

“nope. I made a bet instead.” Rod

“like seriously rod. would that bet be good and all? We just got to our new house.” Sheryl

“yup. Because the world leaders wont really get it until they try it themselves.” Rod

“your seriously going with that? How do you know it will work?” Sheryl

“it will. Just wait and see.. right yukiko?” rod said before they appeared

“I should have gone with you on that ship.” Sheryl said sulking

“don’t worry Sheryl. Its really nothing big actually. Its just that our shared experience with the mind link will seriously blow the minds of those geezers.” Rod

“how was it? Was it good?” Sheryl

“it was good. But how do I describe it..” rod

“it was just to connect every essence of the 3 of us with the jellydols before they lost their ability to mind link.” Yukiko

“seriously? That was just it?” Sheryl

“would you like for me to carry another jellydol for you to experience yourself Sheryl?” rod

“m-maybe no thanks. The idea itself is kind scary. Connecting every of your essence to someone you don’t know kinda disgusts me. I would just like to connect with the person I love the most.” Sheryl said as she hugs rod

“then there is your answer. Its really nothing big.” Rod

“when you say that rod, it kinda hurts my feelings. But Sheryl is right. the experience was good and all but im never going to do that ever again.” Yukiko

“good. Cause im not doing it either. Now, lets go plant some seeds.” Rod said as he lead the girls to the others who were still planting seeds on the garden.
