Chapter 2

“listen here and listen well, we only have about 8 more earth days until they arrive. I hope that you guys will be trained with your new powers.” jason

They were now at NASA space station where all other cadets were sent from all over the globe to form a platoon.

“im sure you know what your doing here right?” jason

“sir yes sir!”

“and what is it?”

They all gave different answers

“i know and im sure that you all have many different reasons on why you are here, among all other people who were sacrificed or wasnt able to, if I may say that word since they were all sacrificed for the better good.” jason said correcting himself

“Sir! May I ask sir!” one of them asked

“sure. State your name, power and your question cadet.”

“sir! My name is patty, power is light i think cause i can glow and i was a volunteer doctor! My question is are you really the reaper? I only heard that his name is jason."

"As a military unit, im in command as your leader. Though im inexperienced, and most of you are, lets just talk with less formality. That way, we can all be friends as well."

"Yes sir!"

"Good answer. Now to answer your question, yes, im jason wild, the reaper as i would like to name myself. I gave the name in fact so that no one would give a lame name for me." Jason said before another raised his hand "Name, power, and question."

"The name is justin, your high school friend, and my powers is water based. I was also a marine biologist in the philippines. My question is, when are we going to leave to fight them?"

"Good question again. Im thinking of leaving for missions when im satisfied with your trainings, but as we dont know the exact whereabouts of our enemies and their plans, im planning to sortie with a couple of team members by my side. To neptune and uranus, the home of the jellydols."

"As i remember, you might need water based powers for that mission right sir?" Gracie said at the back raising her hands

"Hahh. Mostly yes. Whats your name again, power, and question."

"The name is gracie, i was a researcher dor craw industries up until sir jason defeated billy craw. With that, and being thankful to him, i was tjinking of helping him which is why i volunteered. My powers is probably black hole, as it can transport objects from one point to another, and my question is when do we leave and what about our training sir?"

"Thats what im gonna say later, but oh well. Your training shall be done by my second in command, my sister the storm breaker, jackie wild. And for the members of my team for now, as i will train you along the way, you say it jackie." Jason said as he faces jackie which is by his side

"The ones who are going to this first mission are patty, justin, gracie, roddie, and ram. Powers are: patty, light. Justin, water based. Gracie, black hole. Roddie, speed. Ram, hardening. For now, we all will do training here, at NASA. While we are waiting for the rocket that will send the team to space. And note that this is a rescue mission. Anything else that might happen, we must we there to provide back up--" jackie

"Jackie.. this is just a rescue mission right? The rest cant yet work their powers properly. Which is why your gonna train here on earth."

"But what if something happens to you and the rest?"

"We will be alright jackie. Trust me."

"Sure i will trust you but training them along the way as well? Isnt that a little--"

"Yes. A handicap. But we will get through with it."

"At least take the whole platoon with you. You know, mom and dad is really worried about you when they saw the news."

"Alright then. Though that time, i was the only one and by myself. Now i got a team with me."

"Good to hear that but still."

"Yes, we will now carry out the mission with the whole platoon then." Jason said sighing "hear that? The rest of you will now be attending to the rescue. Take good care of the jellydols."

"Sir, yes sir!"

"Say jackie, how many are they actually?" Jason said to jackie

"About 40 people sir. 10 soldiers and 30 civilians, about 30 of them mixed are mutants."

"Whew, thats many. Though we would need that many to save earth."

"What about saving humanity sir?" Patty

"We can do that. Save as many people as possible."

"We cant save all of them?" Justin

"Maybe. Lets do a fact check here. Jackie if you please." Jason said to jackie

"Yes ya. The enemy are reptiles by nature. They are observed to have fast healing capabilities on top of night vision and maybe even camouflauge. Their males have a hard back layer to their skin while having a bit soft skin on their front. Currently, they are concantrated at naptune and uranus, the ones whom jason defeated are still near pluto and the ships that were blasted away from pluto are also still there, assuming that they are still on repairs. There are ships also spotted on many other parts of the solar system though they arent yet making any moves yet and is proceeding towards earth at a slow pace. The time limit of 8 earth days is just an assumed time limit by many strategists but no one knows when they might attack. So far, the species of aliens that we have encountered all give birth one at a time, unlike the reptiles which can give birth to as many eggs as they want. That is all."

"Whew. That was plenty. Did you get all of that?" Jason said to the platoon

"Sir yes sir!"

"Good. We leave at 1300 hours. Do make sure to eat just enough and not many, for this trip. We cant have anyone get motion sickness on the trip."

"Yes sir!"

"Dismissed!" Jason said with a salute

After the salute of the cadets, all of them were trained by both jackie and jason one at a time on how to better use their powers, and some training with guns.

"You think that these cadets are the right choice for you boy?" A person said as he approached jason

"Oh.. president mark! What brings you here?" Jason said after turning around from training the cadets with guns

Surprised, they all turned and saluted the new president

"At ease." Mark said after saluting. "Please come with me for a moment."

"You better train yourselves as instructed. There are also military personnel here who will guide you with everything. Got it?" Jason said before he turned to mark

"Sir yes sir!" The cadets said before they go back to their training

"Do you think your up to the task boy? Of leading i mean. And also training them too." Mark said as they walk towards the runway

They were all training out on the fields just outside NASA space center.

"Maybe. I had no choice as well. As the chosen one and the first mutant, i have the obligation to use my powers as i see responsibly."

"That you do. However, you may need to up your training time, cause this is now war. And who knows how many more are out there in the universe."

"That, you are right sir. As of right now, we are gurrying training as fast as we can. We even skipped combat training for this."

"Well, your all from a group of civilians who just volunteered and eventually made it to the military after all. Still, you may need to hasten yourselves."

"Yes, i know. We dont have enough time to just sit idly after all."

"In order to protect those which cant protect themselves, you guys are the only hope for this planet, and any planet out there." Mark said as they have reached the hangar of NASA where they are now looking at the rocket "You think you guys can survive this?"

"Some, probably not. While some can. Whatever the case, we all must live on for the future of all species in the universe."

"You really think that? And can we win this?"

"We can always try sir, we can always try."

"Remember team, its only us until they all can get here." Jason said as they are now strapped on the space shuttle

"How are they ever going to get there sir?" Roddie

"Via 2 point system. It was theorized and was tested only by rod masons team." Gracie

"Yes. Its slow, but it can take as many as 20 people, minus the cargo, to space." Patty

"Say, why arent we on our special suits me amigos?" Ram

"We arent because we would need special protection from the Gs we will feel when going from earth to space." Gracie

"Shes right though. Its good to have a scientist on board but, now that your one of us, please dont be like billy." Jason

"Oh, no. Im not like him. At first i thought that its all for science and that we can do all things if we try, though i still believe it, i had a change of heart after billy recruited me again saying that im in too deep. After seeing all the failures in experiments or activations, as well as deaths involved, i was thinking of committing suicide. But ever since i watched jason on tv, i had decided that instead of lamenting over past failures, i must help this man who had everything on the line to help save the world." Gracie

"Great speech doc, great speech." Roddie said as they all applaud

"Beginning countdown. 30.. 29.. 28.."

"Whatever the case, results will tell whether your just saying it or not. Cause where we are heading is no joke." Jason

"Believe me, its no joke from what i have been through." Gracie

"Anyways, lets all focus on the mission. We will need teamwork for this." Patty

As they all agreed, the countdown is ticking as they also wait for the launch.

"Launching in 3.. 2.. 1.. lift off."

With that, they flew towards space where earths space force are waiting for their arrival

"Brr.. its so cold out here in space." Roddie said on his seat as they were all seated except ram

"Is ram done with his business? We are behind schedule with him." Patty

"May i ask on what nationality you from patty?" Gracie

"Im from paris, why?" Patty

"Im from the US. I just want to know another woman in this mission, thats all. Since all other members are all men." Gracie

"Yes, your right about that." Patty said with a little laugh

"Sorry for the wait guys. Really had it in there for so long. Not like roddie there where he cant poop cause of his fast metabolism." Ram said as he suits up

"Here, let me help you with what i can." Roddie said as he was at the last row along with ram

After a few minutes of suiting ram up, they are finally ready.

"Get ready guys. This is the last jump so that we can arrive at uranus." Jason said over the second row, beside gracie.

"Ready." They all said as they agreed on it

"Are we ready to go now?" Jason said to the driver

"Ready sir. All fueled up and ready." Driver

"Good, cause this mission only has one way for all of us. Remember, this is just a rescue mission. The real fight is only later." Jason

"Why is that sir? Did they make this plan?" Patty

"Nope. I did, and they agreed." Jason

"Why? We coukd have just taken the fight to them! We are now 40 men strong!" Ram

"No. Cause we still dont have enough people yet to take them all on. Plus the old warships in earths orbit are the only warships we have, and they have many planet sized ones. Anyways, you will know once we get there." Jason said before he hit the overdrive

For the jump, they had to orbit very fast upon the gravitons artificial gravity where they will be slighshot at how many Gs depending on how fast you orbit and release.

"I hate it when you do that." Ram said before the release where they all had to hang on their seats

After a few minutes, they arrived at uranus where there were no signs of reptile activity yet. There, they made a scan with drones towards a portion of the planet to know on their status only to find the jelly dols all waved at the drones, while some carry sign boards to help them evacuate and some to say hi to the jason and holding the radio. As jellydols comes from neptune, they eventually evolved to be able to walk on ice.

"Nothing out of the normal here." Ram said while in the controls of some drones

"Nothing here either." Roddie also said while in the controls of the remaining drones

"What do we do now sir?" Ram said as both of them stared at jason

"Play the recording and leave a drone for now." Jason said while at the before the monitors

Ram and roddie was scouting while the rest was waiting on what they would do while on the table.

"Should we go down there and talk to them?" Patty

"No. We would lose fuel that way. Which is why i just left a drone there to serve as a mini satellite and replay in all available radios." Jason

"Those insstructions of yours? That to gather in a single point so that rescue will pick them up? They woukd just be bait like that." Gracie

"I know. But what else can we do? Which is why i also said to dispurse and go into the water once the reptiles get there first." Jason

"Hahh.. cant we have a better plan that that?" Gracie

"At least we have a plan." Patty

"Its alright actually. What are your inputs justin?" Jason

"Im just actually observing you jason, its been a while since we last met after all." Justin

"Seriously, what are your thoughts in this?" Jason

"Why cant i just use my powers to lift them up to the ship?" Justin

"One, you cant fully control your powers yet. 2, i think i have an idea whats your power, though you will not like my theory. 3, there isnt any space on the ship for them which is why said to wait." Jason

"Wait, hold on. You said you have a theory on my powers. What is it? Please tell me." Justin

"Remember back on earth when i said to try and control the water on the pool?" Jason

"Yes, i remember." Justin

"You just made small waves at the water and you couldnt make anything out of the water. That made me think that your powers lie somewhere else. Like a tsunami perhaps?"jason

"Seriously? Thats all you can think of? Justin

"Hes got a point. I was there when you made those waves. " gracie

"Anyways, should we continue with the mission? There is nothing here, there is probably nothing in neptune." Patty

"Too early to say things patty. Lets go now, before its maybe too late." Jason said as he turns back towards the cockpit.

With that, they depart on their next journey on the next relay towards neptune. But when they got there after some time, they saw many reptilian ships by the size of earth, blocking the view of neptune.

"Damn it! Were too late!" Ram

"Look at the size of that ship, cant we just talk it out with them?" Gracie

"Nope. I have talked before with the gods on this and they said that these reptiles is a warrior race which only cares for the survival of the fitest. According to the oracles, they dont eat their own kind yet they keep eating other kinds, as if its a disgrace to their presence." Jason

Ram laughed at the thought of gods and jason who is a 27 year old.

"At this point, i would believe you on this jason. You have led us this far, its now time for you to lead us to the next phase." Patty

"Ok. Take us down. We need to infiltrate each ship and destroy it." Jason agreed and orders the ship to push forward.

"Wont that take long? Why dont we--" gracie

"Can you use your powers to its max output?" Jason

"No sir. I calculate that i might die if i use 100 percent of my full power." Gracie agreed and was a bit ashamed

"Good observation. Some powers will make you die when you use full power, and some dont. Thats the nature of being a mutant." Jason

"Anyways, how can we be of use with our powers as it is?" Justin

"Alright, here is the plan." Jason

Jason first went near neptune, close enough so that he wont be pulled by its gravity, and first took care of the ships by disabling them with thunder storms all around the whole planet.

"Justin, nows the time." Jason

"Yes sir. Here goes nothing." Justin said beside him

Justin knew the recklessness of the plan but there was no other way, and with their numbers, so he just went along with it. Justin then stretched out his arms just like jason so that he can control the waters of neptune.

"Are you doing it?" Jason

"Yeah, im trying." Justin

"Try a little harder!"

"I cant! Im stuck with just waves again!" Justin said as he could feel the calm waters of neotune turn to waves

"Are you really trying to get angry just like i told you?" Jason

"Im really trying!"

Then some alien fighters came, saw them, and ready their weapons.

"Now is the time patty! On what i taught you!" Jason

"Yes sir, i got this." She said as she came from behind. "Imagine your hands becoming beams of light."

With her imagination, she finally made lasers from her fingers and pointed all of them at each alien fighters that came across

"You guys really make a good combo. Is it my turn yet?"gracie

"Nope. You know the plan." Justin

"Your still trying to control your anger. Let it go and let your anger flow justin! Flow like a tsunami!" Jason shouted

With that, justin cleared his thoughts and let out pure anger as he also lets it flow, there, he was able to sense and make tsunamis and was able to pull all the reptilian ships towards the planet where it crashed into the waters.

"Great job! Justin, you did it!" Jason shouted at justin as they celebrated

"Guys, we are not yet done." Gracie said over the comms

Some alien fighters were almost able to shoot at them when jason pulld out his shield

"Oh, sorry." Patty said as she shot those alien fighters

"Now lets go towards the surface." Jason said before they came back to the ship

With all the alien ships inside the planet, disabled, and not floating anymore on neptunes atmosphere, jason and his team begins their descent upon the planet which has water and ice. All except patty, as she will protect the ship from any alien encounters with her lasers, the rest was able to hang on to jasons gravity as he descends. With their warmers at full power, they finally touched down at the tip of the ice on the icy part.

"Whats next on the list?" Justin

"We save all the jellydols here and rally them to a single point where they will be picked up." Jason

"Alright then, lets show them what we are made of." Gracie

"Guys, remember what i taught you alright? Jason said before they all agreed. "Roddie, scout the whole planet if you have to and put these small radio transceivers so that they can hear. The rest, with me"

"Yes sir."

Roddie then ran at water and at ice to deliver small radios all over the planet where he also will scout. After some time, maybe 4 hours, roddie returned.

"Status report." Jason said as he saw roddie

"I delivered all of them alright, and found many reptilians eating those poor jellydols away without any remorse or whatsoever." Roddie

"Dang it, i really hoped for a peaceful and more intellectual solution to this." Gracie

"I can relate with you. But if they could be peaceful, why do they fight to annhialate us instead?" Jason

"Im sure that they have a good reason for it, right?" Gracie

"Nope, we dont. What are the other reports you have roddie?" Jason

"Gosh. I was saving it for last, but i snuck into one of their ships and found an entire ecosystem out there. And i wasnt sure about it but i think that i saw some humans and some jellydols inside there, though it wasnt very clear."

"And they also treat us like some animal, hows that for peace?" Jason

"No need to be harsh sir, but can we save them though?" Gracie

"Probably not. Our mission is only to rescue." Ram

"By the way, im famished." Roddie

"Oh, help yourself with the food. You will need it for later when we gather all of them." Jason

"Anyways, with only the 5 of us, we cant hope to just save some people while waiting for the jellydols, its just too risky." Roddie

"I can do it, though i might lose my gravity due to exhaustion when i will lift everyone." Jason

"Seriously? You can do that?" Gracie

"Yes. Though there maybe an alternative. Roddie, can you put just one radio inside that ship? I have an idea." Jason said with a smile.

While the other 2 were waiting back at camp and since its also the rally point, roddie ran towards inside the eco system by exploding a glass so that he could enter and give the radio to the 3 people who were captured, which were 2 males and a female. After roddie escaped, he gave the signal so that justin can start drowning the entire ship with water, then jason lifts the entire ship so that he can flush out everything inside the ship using electromagnetism. By charging the whole ship with negative electromagnetic polarity, jason can help repel the ship with the planets help and thus lifting the whole ship with little energy used. And by implanting explosives beforehand on almost every glass on the ship, they were able to make exit points for every creature on the ship. With that, all creatures on the ship were able to escape from the ship, including the humans and the jellydols. As jason was finished with the ship, he threw the ship to the side and towards outside the solar system, before they all got back to camp where all the jellydols were present, including the 3 humans. When they finished, roddie got back with justin as jason descended from space with his gravity.

“mission accomplished eh? Good thing there were only a few of these guys.” ram said while he was the only one waiting at the camp and fighting some reptiles and sitting on a pile of corpses of reptiles.

“and good thing your powers are hardening, they really cant beat you when your hardened all over your body.” roddie

“where is gracie?” jason

“shes tending to the wounded right now. While I did all the hard labor.” ram

“its no biggie, its always a mans job to do hard labor. Haha.” roddie

“haha, funny.” ram

“anyways, glad your all safe. Now whats left is to defend this spot until help arrives.” jason

But it was also then that a ship suddenly appeared from the sky.

“oh boy.” jason

“you just had to jinx us.” ram said standing up and getting ready

“whatever, lets get ready guys, this is going to be a bumpy ride.” roddie

After a few minutes of waiting, cargo ships from the warship descend towards them where swarms of reptiles jumped from all those cargo ships, swarming far and wide.

“you ready boys?” jason said as he flies and takes his sword to produce lightning from above

“yes sir!” they all said as they also got ready

With that, they fought as many reptilians as never seen before. Ram with his hardening does hand to hand combat and hardening his hands to pierce through the reptiles soft front. Roddie, with his fast speed, sticking bombs to big reptiles and piercing both eyes of reptiles. Justin, with his rage, takes water from the ocean behind them and washes reptilians away into the ocean. And jason, who flew and swung his sword to strike lightning unto all other reptilians far away while long range attacks would only deflect from his electromagnetic shields.

“wait, let me get gracie as well.” jason said as he was reminded of her

“sure this, we got everything under control here.” justin said as he was still busy with his share

As jason flew towards gracie and the other jellydols, gracie was busy defending the jellydols by slicing reptilians one by one. Jason then struck his lightning unto all of the reptilians on land, where they were all burned to a crisp.

“need a hand?” jason said as he was descending

“thank you for that, I was in a bit of a pinch.” gracie

“remember what I taught you?” jason

“yes. I already know that.”

“good. Cause I need you to make a hole on that ship up there.”

“seriously? Do you think I can do it?”

“yes. Just concentrate.”

“alright then.”

She then held her hands high as she imagines the properties of a blackhole, and made a big one which made a giant hole on the ship. With that achievement, gracie smiled as she had helped humanity with the war, as well as jason who felt an achievement in teaching. But as they were near the water, suddenly a reptile with a very large mouth attacked them. But as jason had his sword for protection, gracie tried to cover jason where she was torn into half before jason could ever send a lightning strike onto the reptilian.

“damn it! Hold on gracie! We will get you help soon!” jason shouted over his helmet as he held her hand

“no, I know that I wont make it, but at least I saved you.”

“i could have defended myself. Why?”

“like I said, I wish to help you this time around.”

“no. We just cant lose our resident scientist like this! You also really think I owe you my life?”

“no. Your even almost like a god yourself. Though as you are human, you must seek help--” gracie said before she coughed

“dont speak anymore, we will get you help soon! I will get you to--”

“no, leave me and finish the mission. Without you, the world would be lost forever.”

“this is not a farewell, you hear me!”

“no. This is goodbye.” gracie said under her last breath

“no! F***!” jason said as he cried under his helmet

For a few seconds, he mourned her death. But with holding his breath, jason opened his helmet and hers to have their foreheads touch and her head glowed for a second. After that, jason closed his helmet and let out a deep breath.

“thats one down, and 5 more to go.” jason said under his breath

As the jellydols saw all that, they also coudnt help but mourn for the loss and cried. He also had a very hard time deciding what to do with gracies remains only to decide to leave her corpse as is. It was also then that a large allied ship arrived in space where jason saw this.

“guys! Gather around the jellydols! Protect them! I gotta help get that ship out of our sights.” jason said as he flies up.

“yes sir!” they confirmed

It was also then that they saw what became of gracie and of the reptilian. They investigated and found what might have happened. While up at space, jason helped move the alien ship at the side so that the rescue ship could launch a tube into the ocean so that they can “pick up” all of them instead of sending a team towards the planet, as it takes a lot of fuel to get out of a planets gravity. The procedure would just suck up water from the ocean along with the jellydols with it, and fill up the pool inside the ship. The excess water would just be recycled and blown out at another tube away from the suction tube.

“whew! I have been struggling with alien fighters all over! Thank god there were only a few of them who came to us jason!” patty said as she saw jason flying towards them and their ship

“no time for celebrations patty, we just lost gracie.” jason said as he passes over patty

“what?! what happened?”

“we will all know what happened to each one of us on the debriefing. For now, have our ship dock with the rescue ship.” jason said as he reached the hatch

“yes sir.” patty understood his statement as the mission is not yet over.

After that, he let the shuttle dock with the rescue ship, which was also by the size of an empire state building. Then jason flew back to the neptune again to pick up his other team mates.

“what should we do with her guys? Should we just bury her?” ram said as the vicinity was temporarily clear

“i don’t know. Maybe just leaving her on this planet would be best.” roddie

“no. We must also get her back to her family. I think she might have a family back on earth.” jason said as he descents

“what happened here jason? Sir? You could have--” justin

“no. It was already too late by the time I got to strike.” jason said before he held her hand one last time

“so thats what happened. And so.. what should we do now with her sir?” ram

“lets take her home. With us.” jason said as he stood up

“come one. Lets each grab a part of her so that jason can concentrate.” justin

“glad your my friend justin, you know me well.”

“just hurry up. We still don’t got much time though.” justin

Jason agrees and then activated his gravity so that they all can get out and back into the rescue ship, where they put her on ice first. After rescuing all the jellydols in neptune, they then head back towards uranus to rendezvous with the other rescue ship. Then after some time with jumping from one relay point to another, they finally reached uranus to find that many other reptilian ships have just arrived.

“captain! Look at this!” a crewmate shouted

“son of a gun. We need to warn them. Go call them over, now!” captain

“sir! The rescue ship on uranus is under attack! And we see a person out there, handling the fighters.”

“what the hell is that person doing?”

“it seems that that person is sort of borrowing water from the planet uranus to attack the reptilians. Shes maybe holding them off.”

“that wont hold them! Did anyone call them already?”

“sir, the rest are still getting ready since they were at the showers.”

“where is jason?”

“well.. he said hes going to the hangar and get himself a shuttle.”

“good thinking. Approve his leave and lets wait at this distance for the attacks to subside.”

”sir, what if more of them suddenly comes behind us?”

“the hell, alright then. All stations to battle stations, we will need to back jason up on this one.”

With that, they were now on a course to help the other rescue ship. As both rescue ships were also warships, the captain also ordered to prepare the laser cannons while jason was approved to go towards the other rescue ship.

“are we ready yet? Thats maybe my sister up there fighting all alone.” jason said anxiously at his chair on the shuttle

“hold on. Preparations are almost complete sir.”

“how many percent is that?”

“about 98 percent sir.”

“lets go with that. Fly now!”

“yes sir!”

They then dispatched from the rescue ship so that they can be the first ones to go towards the other rescue ship which is being attacked.

Some time earlier before the ship was being attacked.

"Move it people! Before we encounter any reptilian ships along the way! We must avoid that at all costs!" Captain miller

"Yes sir!"

"Whats the status of the extraction?" Jackie said as she is beside the captain at the bridge

"We are still at 89percent maam."

"Damn it! Whats the stauts below?"

"Maam, they are still tending to the jellydols."

"Give me alex on the line!"

"Yes maam."

There at one of the monitors at the bridge, a video call was made at the hangar

"Hello, is there anyone there, i repeat, is there anyone there!"

"Yes, its col. Wilfred here, what can i do for you?"

"Col. Whats the status there?" Captain

"We are all moving as fast as we can sir! All men here at tending to the jellydols as fast as they could."

"You got that ms wild?" Miller said before jackie agreed

"Sir, we have got about 8 bogeys on our 12! And all heading towards uranus!"

"Damn it! Were too late!" Miller

"No were not! Not on my watch!" Jackie said as she hurried to the hangar

After 30 minutes of running towards the hangar and suiting up, she finally got to the hangar.

"Where can i go out?" Jackie said to a maintenance crew

"Right this way maam."

They then walked to a shuttle where they launched from the hangar and towards the hoard of newly deployed alien fighters. She then got out of the hatch with her battle suit on to battle against the alien fighters.

"How does my brother ever do this thing?" Jackie said being nervous

When the fighters were about to engage with the alien fighters, thats when she thought of the idea to borrow from the planet, as she was looking around what to use. Like her powers now being a part of herself, and due to training with jason, she was able to launch the waters and ice from the planet towads the alien fighters, plunging them towards the planet. After an hour of fighting on her own, jason then appeared from afar.

"This is jason here, is that you lara? Or jackie?"

"This is jackie ya. Please help me with this, i dont know what else to do." Jackie said while smiling and fending off alien fighters

"Why didnt you bring back up? I think lara and liu might be able to help."

"I was in a hurry, what can i do?"

"Dont worry, the cadets can now fend for themselves back there at the ship. Look." Jason said pointing at the rescue ship about to fire their laser cannon

"Good, we will need all the help we can get."

"Cant we just leave the rest?"

"The mission is to rescue every available jellydol, lets not forget about that."

"Ok then. For now, can you sink all those warships towards uranus?" Jason said pointing at the fleet of alien warships the size of earth

"You think i can do that? Its almost impossible!"

"Nope. Use your anger jackie. Your anger is the key."

"Oh, im angry alright. Very angry that we cant rescue all--"

"Thats right. Amplify that into rage and let the planets waters drown their ships."

"Alright then ya. I will try."

With that, she then directed her anger towards one alien warship and drowned it towards the planet. And with a snap, jason pointed his finger towards that ship to strike lightning towards the ship to disable all devices inside it.

"With our teamwork, we can do it."jason said with a smile

"Ok ya. Which reminds me, This is the first time we worked together."

"Yes, it is. Anyways, concentrate on drowning those ships, i will guard you and the tube."

"Got it. Though, why wont you just blast them ya?"

"I need to conserve power jackie, we all do."

"We?"

"Yes. I have already sent word to do their best in evac while we deal with those aliens for now."

"I would have you know that this is really taking all of my concentration and anger to sink one ship at a time."

"Dont worry jackie, once they are done with the evac, its our time to get out of here."

"Why dont we deal with them right here?"

"No. We cant. there is a limit to what we can do with our powers jackie."

"Alright then, lets do what we can."

"Jason, can you read me?" Miller

"Yes, what is it?"

"Our satellites on earth is saying that there are more coming to you. We are now at 95 percent, just a little bit more."

"Good. We will handle this for now. All fighters, clear a hundred kilometer radius from us!"

"Yes sir!"

"What are you doing ya? You know we cant--" jackie said as she just finished sinking one ship into the planet uranus

"Well, watch your bro as he works. Dont worry, i got your back on this."

"I hope you know what your doing."

"I hope you will do what i think you will." Miller

"Yes i know. For now. Anyways, just watch as you do your job." Jason said as he got close to jackie

After getting close, jason then did his trick again, create friction into the surrounding atoms for a hundred kilometers and struck lightning towards all alien fighters that ever comes at a hundred kilometers from him while deploying an electromagnetic shield around him and jackie

"Should we get close or can you control the water from this distance?"

"Show off."

"Was just asking. Anyways, i think you can do it right here jackie."

"Ok. Let me concentrate." Jackie said as she stretched her arms towards the next alien ship "here goes nothing."

They did this combo technique for a couple of minutes, but as the reptiles were also capable of learning, all the alien fighters avoided them where the alien warships all fired their lasers at them causing the energy field to expand. But as all their attacks proved futile, they just stopped their fighters all around them, with the reptiles waiting for the shields to go out.

"Damn it. They are learning."

"What do we do now ya?" Jackie said as she stopped her task as she is now tired

"Hmm.. looks like i will have to try a different tactic."

Jason then disables his energy field, and activates his electromagnetic shield to maximum output where all the alien fighters surrounding them were now in an orbit around them.

"Hahh.. got nothing else up my sleeve for now." Jason admitting

"What?! I thought that you can take them all down!"

"Not this many. The best i can do is just this."

"Now what, we are stuck."

"No your not." Patty said over the comms

As jason is only using electromagnetic shield, comms were now back online.

"Why are you here patty?" Jason

"Im here to help. I kind of thought this might happen." Patty

"Good thing you came. We are in a bit of a pinch here." Jackie

"Where are you? Cant see you two from all these reptilain fighters." Patty

"Were at the center. What are you going to do patty?" Jackie

"Stay there. Im good at breaking these things." Patty

"What? Breaking?"

"Yes. You will see."

Patty then concentrated all the ligh into her finger while she pointed towards the other alien fighters at the side where it all exploded one by one, like she was playing with a laser beam, until all of them were destroyed

"I taught her that." Jason said proudly

"Show off." Jackie

"Lets get out of here you two, before more gets here." Patty

With that, they followed patty towards a shuttle and went back to the rescue ship where their next course is earth.

"I have a proposal for all of you, for another mission." Jason said at the bridge of rescue ship 2

On the monitors was the captain of the rescue ship 1 of whom was the one that went to neptune.

"What is it jason, tell us." Miller

"I know you guys are exhausted from the trip and would like to get back to earth right now, but as guardians of this solar system, we must protect every creature that lives here."

"So your saying that we should also rescue the coolers and the lavalads?" Jackie

"Yes. While on the way." Jason

"What is our merit in rescuing them when we should go back as soon as possible?"

"I know your concerned about the loss of your men captain hauler. Which is why we have to get those creatures out of their way." Jason

"Our losses arent just for fun and games you know. Were now down to 200 fighters for each ship, why should we--" hauler

"I think its better to get them all in one day rather than getting them later, which is also a waste of time and refueling." Jason

"Time? Is that what your worried about in here? We have major losses here jason! This was just suppose to be an evavuation." Hauler

"This mission always have losses captain. Even we have them too." Jackie

"I was just assigned here, i had no other choice but to take orders from freaks!" Hauler

"You should be glad captain that we have them, or else we would have lost this war anyways." Miller

"Tch!" Hauler

"Anyways, hear me out first. The mission this time is to rescue the coolers and the lavalads. The coolers are currently on saturn and jupiter, where they are gaseous planets. While the lavalads are in mars where they can feel most at home. But as the entire system is in a crysis, i think that we would need to notify them and evacuate them." Jason

"Why wont just the coolers fly off to earth? They can do that right?"

"Yes. But they lack the stamina to fly towards earth." Jackie

"Even if they dont need to eat, they need to at least rest once in a while from flying. Which is why they are also situated mostly on their moons." Miller

"Yes. For this mission, we will have all the jellydols transfer to your ship captain hauler, so that you can go back first." Jason

"So that we can get the coolers and lavalads, all in one go."

"And since lavalads population on mars is still little, we can maximize space! Of course!" Miller

"Yes. Though i would need all my team with me on this mission." Jason

"What?! Why cant they just come back with me?" Hauler

"What? Are you afraid?" Jackie

"What if they suddenly appear? They might--" hauler

"They wont, not yet anyways. Dont worry, we will be back as soon as possible." Jason

"Remember, time is short here. Even though this mission requires only to save the jellydols and come back for the others, i would vote for his plan on this." Miller

"Whose with me on this plan?" Jason

With that, the mission starts as they all agreed to it. As soon as the jellydols were transferred to ship 1, they continue their jump towards saturn where another selected team was selected as scouts.

"Whoa, im really nervous sir."

"Shut up zingka, ,even if you have the power to move sand, you should have also been tough!"

"No you shut up kat, even though you can control gas, your too tough for your own good!"

"Enough of this! Please you two. Get along with each other."

"Liu is right you know. Were a team now." Jason

"Even though she has the power to control fire, shes not that tough to me." Kat

"I wont be indulged with your negativity. Im far more disciplined that you will ever." Liu

"Hahh.. please stop picking a fight with the other guy kat, your a--" patty

"A girl? Hah! The time i will ever be a girl is i can meet my destined one." Kat

"Hahh.. why wont you say anything xander? Your the wise one if i could recall." Patty

"It is wise not to interfere with chaos, for its after chaos that there can be peace." Xander

"Hes also right you know. Though that maybe true, we cant have any peace with those reptiles." Jason

"Why is that my friend?" Xander

"Because, its the will of the gods, and im their messenger of death. Also, most of them are trained warriors, maybe only a very small percentage of them are frail and is to work for research." Jason

"Why you say that? And are you certain of this?" Xander

"Yes. I have already talked with rod mason and the gods about this, and their decision is to eliminate their kind no matter what happens. Or else the universe will suffer a great consequence, as so i was told." Jason

"Come on dude. Just read his mind to tell whether he is telling the truth or not." Kat

"You know, barrier doesnt work like that." Xander

"Then how does it work?" Kat said teasingly

"Enough guys, lets all focus on the main mission." Jason

"Guys, we are closing in on saturns moon, titan." Driver

"Good. Lets do this guys! We are these guys last hope!" Jason

"Why should we help them sir?" Zingka

"Because they are the last of their species, as what im told by the gods." Jason

"Seriously? You really believe all that cr--" kat

"Dont ever disgrace the chosen one whom the gods gave consent! We still have a mission. If what he says is true, all the more we must help them." Liu

"Yes. All the more to help them." Zingka

"We are here." Driver said as they near the moon titan where there was a lot of coolers

"Thats a lot." Patty

"Not much, compared to the population of the jellydols." Xander

"Anyways, let the extra mission start. Kat and xander, to comms. Everyone else, with me." Jason

There they deployed the same stragtegy when he got to neptune, one drone near saturn and one on each moon, signaling for the coolers to come with them. And since during the last 2 centuries when rod mason had first contact with the creatures, they could now understand english and would now require to communicate using english.

“sir, we just got a signal from one of the gravitons. It shows that they have been accessed.” liu

“which relay?” jason said as he goes to liu

“sir, all of them has now been activated. Just how did they decipher so much of our language?” liu

“as per artemis when I learned to hunt with her, in order to hunt, you must learn about what you hunt before hunting it.” jason said as it sent chills upon all his team

“we just got here a second ago. Damn it! What do we do now sir?” kat

“just continue to send the signal in a couple of minutes, then we go back. don’t worry, the only ones which can go through the relays are only the fighters and those cargo ships.” jason

“sir, those fighters and cargo ships have just arrived behind us.” patty

“what?!” kat

“god help us all.” zingka

“no, we help ourselves. Do your job for now zingka.” kat

“yes maam.” zingka said sighing

“in any case, we need to evac them in a few minutes. How long can they reach here patty?”jason

“right about a minute maybe.” patty said gulping

“suit up patty and kat, we need to protect the shuttle for a couple of minutes until they get here.” jason

“what? My power is to control gas! How can I even fight?” kat said standing up

“you have planet saturn right? Use it. And xander, we might need your barrier as well. Just stay outside the shuttle where you can protect the rest.” jason said as he stood up

“what do I do?” liu

“its not yet your turn liu. Monitor duty.” jason said as he floats towards the hatch

“roger.” liu

“lets kick some ass then.” kat

Outside of the shuttle, little by little, coolers began to swarm towards the shuttle while xander puts up his barrier all over the shuttle.

“so thats how he does it.” kat said as she saw xanders stance, his fingers touching his forehead like doing some telepathy.

“alright then, lets get this show on the road.” jason

“hey, since when did--” kat

“shush, they are coming.” patty

In a second, laser fire was being presented to them where jason had to do defense while the other two were offense. Jason transforms his sword into a shield, patty does her laser attacks, and kat gets gas from saturn to distract the enemies from finding the shuttle and them. They did this for a couple of minutes, as it was like a perfect combination of teamwork.

“sir, its time. What should we do?” liu said over the comms

“good. Lets all get out of here!” jason

But as they were about to escape towards the shuttle, kat just left all the gas there to dissipate.

“you idiot!” patty said as she noticed

When she noticed it, it was too late for kat, as a fighter shot patty at the back.

“patty!” kat shouted as she saw he die

“tch! Get back to the ship, now!” jason

Jason then went to patty to pick her up and light up the space in front of him, to strike lightning towards all alien fighters, before he hurriedly escape towards the shuttle.

“its my fault, its all my fault!” kat said as she saw jason dragging pattys body into the shuttle

“get us outta here! Now!” jason

“what about the coolers?” liu

“what about them?” kat said as she was crying

“their top speed in flight is 3 Gs, they can catch up to us!” jason

“aye sir! Full speed ahead!” driver said as xander closed the hatch

Then they sped up towards the nearest relay so that they can jump towards jupiter, where they did the same routine. But before they did, they all mourned the loss of their team mate.

“give her to me for a while.” jason said to kat
