Chapter 2

“preparing for jump, please get ready everyone.” said the captain of excalibur

“captain, to think that all of them are mutants and there are only 2 of us normal humans on this ship, makes me uneasy.” said the co-pilot

“no worries char, we wont do anything to both of you. Though we are worried if the bug aliens might get to you guys. Which is why we have an extra man on the ship which will protect you two.” jason

“yeah, hes the man for the job alright. The plan didn’t state it, though it must be alright if sir jason says it is.” erwin

“gosh erwin, your such a worry wart. Everything is going to be alright.” red

“guys, jump preparations are complete. Prepare yourselves.” captain

“alright guys, this is it, your first jump. Did anyone of you just eat?” jason

“nope.” all of them confirmed

“good. Since you are gonna barf if you ate before and during this trip.” jason

“anyways, were now going to jump in 3.. 2.. 1..” captain

After the captain said those lines, everything became a blur as the system automatically calculates the trajectory for the jump, as the ship goes around the anti gravity of the graviton, towards the next few gravitons in the spaces between planets reducing the time it will take for interspace travel. Then after some hours of of travel towards mars, they finally arrived on the red planet.

“alright, after some time jumping from 4 graviton stations, we finally made it.” erwin

“remember guys, the mission on mars starts when they touch down on mars.” jason

“yes sir.” all of them confirmed

They then make a slow approach towards mars where they were immediately detected by both enemy parties and took heavy fire from the direction of mars.

“they shouldnt have yet been able to build an empire in this short amount of time!” char, the co-pilot said as the captain keeps dodging laser fire

“captain, open the hatch now so that the team will just go on without us. Lets proceed with the mission right now!” jason

“roger.”

The captain then opened the hatch so that fox and the others can get out and start the mission. When the teams were all able to get out of the ship, a force field was then deployed around them from anna.

“remember fox, your the key to their survival if things go worse. And remember the escape plan guys if the plan fails.” jason said over the comms

“roger.” they all confirmed

With that, jason and his team all headed towards the next graviton which is just circling around mars, while the rest all goes towards mars.

“you think that they will be ok fox?” Anna

“yes, they will. Because they got the most powerful mutant to ever wander the earth at their side.” fox said as they now enter mars atmosphere

“whoa. Please hold on tightly, even though mars gravity is lower than of earths, its still likely to get very hot in here.” anna said as they were also greeted by laser fire

After a few hours, they finally were able to land on mars.

“let the mission begin!” fox said as he activated his gravity to lift rocks from mars

During that time, jason and his team all went towards the other graviton which was currently at the other side of mars, circling around mars ever so faintly.

“sir, im detecting a huge ship just above the graviton!” charlie

All they could ever see was the graviton up ahead while there were no ships right behind the graviton on sight.

“good work charlie, thats probably either one of those alien ships.” jason

“do we proceed as planned then sir?” red

“yes. Kill all the aliens inside the graviton while I deal with their ship.” jason

“yes sir!”

As they all were on agreement of the plan, they were then presented with laser fire.

“dont worry, I have set up a barrier in front of us. Just go straight towards the graviton captain.” jason

“yes sir.” captain

“were trusting you on this sir.” char

As laser fire grows intense, so was the deflecting of laser fire in front of the ship by controlling molecules. They were then able to park right beside the graviton after a few minutes.

“mission start!” jason said as he unlock his seatbelt and goes towards the hatch

Others also followed suit except Bruce, the mind blocker. As mutants were all immune to any type of brainwashing due to their newly evolved brain, they were all less likely to be controlled by the bug aliens.

“good luck to you sir.” ulga said as they enter the hatch from the giant graviton ship

“god help us all.” jason said as he flew towards the alien ship at the top or right behind graviton.

With his sword at hand, jason enters into canon mode when he got into position and fires his canon after a few seconds of loading, making a big hole at the very big alien bug ship. Right after making a hole at one alien ship, all the other ships then released their camouflage and aimed all their lasers at both the graviton and at jason, all 30 big alien ships in total from both enemy sides.

“puny numbers.” jason said as he humored himself

With all alien ships aiming their lasers, they then fired at jason where he just controls the projectile particles inside the laser so that his sword can absorb it all before firing again towards another ship and so on. Meanwhile after a few hours, the rest of the team all ventured together inside the graviton with their laser guns at hand, killing all reptilians who are inside the graviton at the moment.

“hey, wouldnt it be faster if I just controlled the ship even if they are inside? So that we can just jump towards other gravitons and come back here for them later?” charlie

“that sounds like a great idea! Lets do that!” max said as he stopped

“wait, I need to be on the control room just in case, so that I can make a better image of what im controlling.” charlie

“lets do that.” max said. “ulga, can you navigate the entire ship on where the control room might be?”

“yes I can.” ulga agreed

With his powers of speed, he was able to navigate through the entire ship with ease.

“sir max, done with navigation. I have even rigged explosives to some reptilians” ulga said as he pressed the button

There were then some screams heard from a distance.

“good. Lead the way.” max

Ulga then leads the way towards the control room where a lot of reptilians were waiting, and they open fire against the reptilians. After a few hours more of exchanging fire, the last of the reptilians was finally killed and they finally got control over the control room.

“this is good. Now that I have a good grasp on how to talk with this baby, im good to go for any other gravitons sir.” charlie

“good. Lets go, we have wasted more time as it is already.” max said as he recalls the time limit for the mission

Since time outside of earth is more slowed down than the time on earth, they calculate that the mission must be done in a couple of hours max, just in time to come back right before the prophetic war will begin. And after they finally got out of the graviton which was preparing for jump, they saw jason still going at it against a couple more alien ships and some alien fighters.

“your late!” jason said over the comms

“sorry about that, they proved to be more skilled than initially thought.” max said as they got inside the excalibur

“alright then. As soon as I get in, begin countdown for jump sequence in 10 seconds.” jason said as he floats towards the ship with his shields on his back and his sword on his right hand.

After a few minutes, jason was then the final person to get inside the excalibur and they begin the countdown. And with the ship close to the graviton, all laser fire was deflected slightly according to relativity and gravity, along with jason ensuring that molecules will also deflect the lasers within the radius of the whole graviton.

“10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1..” the captain said as jason was floating towards the empty seat near him and fastened his seatbelt.

With that, they begin their jump towards pluto, along with some 30 minute breaks of course to relieve tensions from their body.

“miss alexa, how are you doing there?” jackie said on her phone

“the projects are doing just fine. And on schedule. Though there are also tensions going on politically as they are all trying to protect the status quo.” alexa

“to hell with the status quo. Its because of their ignorance that the world is still already as it is.” jackie
”true, but still, they are already on their way to imposing sanctions towards the philippines if we wont give in to their demands.” alexa

“damn it! With my brother away for now, there is no one in this world that can shut them up.” jackie

“yes, your right. What should we do?”

“change the schedule for now and make it slow. We cant afford for the production of the projects to slow us down.”

“yes, those designs are essential for the war as well.”

“i don’t know what my brother intends to do with those designs, but those will surely benefit the world.”

“true.”

“anyways, I have to contact the others for now.”

Jackie hangs up the phone so that she can now communicate via satellite phone towards the others who are on their missions.

“hello there chad, how are things there with the lavalads? Status report please.” jackie said over the comms

“were all just fine miss. The lavalads all seem afraid of sorts when we got near them, but they eventually opened up when they saw our badge.” chad

“what else?”

“they all seem to be afraid of the soldiers stationed at the bottom of the volcano. Rest assured, all of us are wearing our filtration suits to avoid breathing volcanic dust before we had them get down from the volcano for a while for their check ups.” chad

“thats good. How are things on your end vicky?”

“very cold miss. Its very cold in russia right now.” vicky

“yes, we know. Status report please.”

“same with chad, things here are going smoothly with their check ups, though we don’t see any soldiers stationed anywhere close to the mountains. And the coolers are just fine.” vicky

“good. Travis, how are things on your end?”

“we are all enjoying our time here at the beach along with the jellydols. Though they always got one problem with their jobs, and that is--” travis

“pollution right?” vicky

“yes. As they were requested to clean up the oceans, they also cant escape pollution of waters, which also made some of them sick.” travis

“ok, I will talk with the philippine government about that. And how are the children that you all have brought along with?”

“all of them were cooperative enough to give the aliens some assistance with their check ups.” vicky

“same with mine.” chad

“mine too, though with having some fun on the beach as well.” travis

“good. The allied aliens must be treated as guests as they are the first alien encounters that mankind has ever experienced.”

“though begs the question miss, if we can become friends with these aliens, why not the bugs and the reptilians?” travis

“i wonder about that sometimes, though as far as what my brother explained to me, the bug aliens have already invaded most of the universe with their sheer numbers while the reptilians have conquered some planets in this galaxy. It now begs to question on how much life they have already slaughtered within this universe of ours.”

“like seriously?” travis said in disbelief

“like seriously. They may also be insects in nature, they are highly intelligent and doesnt have governing principles and values unlike us, so its highly unlikely that you can control them.”

“you wont know until I try right?” travis

“dont, they will only get you killed. You also learned about their biology right? From our lectures.” vicky

“tch.” travis

“anyways, lets all do our best with our assigned missions. The school is basically still busy with lectures and stuff, but it certainly is lonely with just grade school here.” jackie

“yes miss.” all of them agreed and ends the transmission

“whew. hope you are alright there ya. It will still be 3 more years until they could return. I have to do my best.” jackie said encouraging herself

Meanwhile, after some time later, jason and his team was finally able to reach near pluto where the last graviton was stationed.
”finally, we have arrived maybe after a years worth of jumps.” erwin

“oh just shut up erwin, don’t be such a wuss.” red said as she massages her head from headaches

“the mission has yet to even barely start guys.” max

“hes right. Though we will have a 30 minute break before we will start with the mission.” jason

“yes!” everyone thought

Everyone celebrated the thought of the break and does their own thing within the ship, whether it may be eating or sleeping and stuff. And during that time, jason slept for a while at the back.

“hey sir, wake up now. Its already 30 minutes.” max said as he wakes jason up

“thanks.” jason said as he yawns and stretches from his small nap. “how is everyone?”

“waiting for your orders sir.” max said as the team was all ready for the mission

“good. As of now, we start the mission to collect all the gravitons and bring them all back to earth.” jason

“yes sir!”

With that, jason then dresses up and took one last trip to the comfort room before he suits up for a space walk with the others.

“are you guys ready?” jason said as he views on their positions

Max was just outside of the excalibur, along with red and erwin while all the others were inside of the excalibur all buckled up.

“we are all in position sir.” max

“begin operation sutherland”

With that command, they began the mission with all 4 of them basically pulling all the gravitons towards earth. Max, with his magnetic powers will pull all the gravitons at the back while red, pushes all of them with her rocket powers. With erwin, he could manipulate the surrounding space so that it will bend, while jason takes care of the manipulation of time around them so that they can arrive just in time or with the speed of light. As the mission would take its toll out of all of them except jason, he is also taking care of the temporary power up of all 3 of them so that they can accommodate as many gravitons as possible by harnessing all the particles around them except those from the ships and crew. Then after some time of carrying about maybe 50 gravitons in a swirl around the solar system, they finally arrived at the side of mars to pick up the rest of the whole troop.

“calling all who could hear me, please respond!” fox said over the comms

“sir! We got a transmission from fox and his team! An SOS!” captain

“lets all stop for now.” jason

With that transmission, they stopped at the graviton near mars orbit.

“all of you stay here, I am going to check out the SOS.” jason

“where do you even hide all that energy sir?” max said as all 3 of them were tired from the trip

“olga and erwin, you know what to do if there will be alien ships approaching. The 2 of you, take a rest inside.” jason

“yes sir!” they all confirmed before jason went towards mars

“gosh, I get no rest.” erwin

“well, thats what it takes when your the strongest than all 3 of us. Take a look at sir jason, he hardly rests. And when he rests, he literally sleeps.” max

“you got that right.” red

it was also right then that a laser hit maxs shoulder, gladly it was a tight suit and without any air circulating inside the suit. It was also then that they immediately rose up to action and gone to battle stations. They took max inside the ship while erwin and ulga has gone to face them with their lasers and their miniature bombs. The battle plan was that while the enemy ships are busy dispatching their fighters, ulga infiltrates each ship one by one and implant as many miniature bombs as possible towards all the enemies inside while Erwin will also take care of all the fighters outside.

“let me assist you guys!” red shouted over the comms as she rocketed over the battlefield

“wait, your powers arent fit for combat! And yet your fighting!” erwin

“yes, unlike you, I will fight for the entire human race! We must win this fight or else!” red said as she was busy speeding around the ship firing lasers at the enemy fighters

“damn it, don’t ever blame me if something might happen to you!” erwin said as he was bending space and making fighters crash into each other

Meanwhile on mars, jason went towards the source of the signal, to a cave where everyone was hiding for cover

“who goes there!” fox said as he beamed the flashlight towards jason

“whoa, its me, jason.”

“thank god you came right on time. It has been over almost a year since you left us here for combat!” fox said with grief

There were only a few left who survived the battle, as they all predicted

“i know, and I know the losses as well.”

“if you knew, why did you accept this mission from the--”

“you think wars can be fought without casualties boy?! anyways, status report fox.” jason said leaning over towards fox, comforting him while he was crying

“it is as you can see, many are wounded while others are.. gone..”

“what really happened?”

“it was in 3 days ago that we were winning, and even though there were casualties on our side. But then there was a laser beam which was even thicker than what they could produce that struck our defenses which led us to this state right now. Im even glad anna was still alive after she was put to shock when her barrier was broken.”

“well, im glad you are all alright. is this all of them?”

“yes.”

“can you carry all of them towards the excalibur?” jason

“yes, but what about the wounded?”

“i guess they will have to tough it out, cause our plan now is to escape.”

“what?! after--”

“shh.. I know what you might have been through, since I got quantum entanglement communication, I can feel your subconscious speaking to me all of your hardships during this year, and im proud of you. But we must now escape, since I have been picking up strange signs of danger right now.”

“danger? Whats coming for us now?” fox

“maybe from the new weapon that you encountered back then. Anyways, lets all go, we don’t have much time! Everyone is waiting along with all the gravitons being hauled in” jason said as he helps fox stand up

“come on you all! You heard the man! Stand up! We are all going back home!” fox shouted

They all then stood up slowly and walked towards the exit of the cave, when jason detected a familiar energy source coming towards them.

“everyone, behind me right now!” jason shouted after he ran towards the front of them and into the mouth of the cave

In that instant, he was able to shield everyone from the blast.

“this cant be happening! I thought you were dead!” jason said as he looked up

When they also looked up towards where jason was looking at, they saw another mutant

“hey, long time no see there jason wild.” he said with a smile as he descends in front of jason

“how are you alive? And why did you fire at us?”

“fire at you guys? I was only aiming at only you.” billy said as he was now in front of jason

“im guessing, clone technology am I right?”

“bingo! For a filipino, you sure are smart. But you cant guess the upgrades that they did to me.” billy said before he went to pose for an attack

“everyone! Escape now!” jason said as he posed as well for defence along with his sword transforming into a shield

Billy then let out a giant laser attack while jason was deflecting everything

“what about you jason?” fox

“dont mind me for now, run! They are waiting for you!” jason said as he was being pushed back

Fox was then given one option, to flee by the time laser blast would cease, and by the time that the laser fire was slowly decreasing, he was then presented with a window which hethen took reluctantly.

“i will come back for you!” fox said hovering up in the sky

“no, I will come to you. Now go!” jason shouted

With that, fox goes towards outer space to search for the rest of the team.

“now that they are gone, how about you and I have a little rematch?” billy said with a smile after the laser blast stopped

“how about a no? Though Do I still have a choice in this?” jason

“nope, I owe you big time for what you did to me.”

“you were out of control back then! I had no other choice!”

“you had a choice! And it was to help me end their lives! But you betrayed me instead!”

“no I didn’t! you were about to hit innocent civilians along your attack!”

“who cares about this people! As long as earth is safe right?”

“they are innocent and therefore fit to be saved!”

“no matter what we do, we will always have different views on heroism. Prepare yourself!”

With jason transforming his shield again back into a sword, and billy posing his battle stance, they then ready themselves for attack.

“i have to warn you, im well versed with karate.” billy said with a smile

“no matter what your good at, I will do better.” jason said while sheathing his sword to his back

After an intense glare from each other and billy grinding his teeth, as neither of them would back down from the fight and as jason knew in his instincts that this man must never live for the sake of peace and order of the world, billy then ran towards jason as he responded in kind signaling that the battle begins. After some time exchanging blows through hand to hand combat, billy then starts to throw laser blasts at jason, leaving craters on mars surface. Without jason even using his own power of lightning, the results of the battle is a tie.

“say, im just going easy on you billy, please stop this. Your also human so you deserve every right as we humans do.” jason

Billy was laughing hard when he heard that, before he eased up so to talk

“you really think that all will be well when we go back? We are now mutants jason! There is no place for us freaks in that world filled with arrogant humans aside from them having total obedience! Look--”

“yes, I get it. The old line for tyrant rulers. Though I get your point--”

“then why--”

“even still, I hope for coexistence. As we are all still as one human race, even if some have just evolved to the final or next level of humanity.”

“coexistence is only a naive dream jason, wake up and smell the roses! Both of us can become gods if we want to!”

“no. I choose the path of coexistence rather than total obedience. Besides, we arent immortals you and I.”

“ugh.. screw this!” billy said as he then curled up to gather the surrounding particles for a supernova attack

“you really leave me no choice huh.” jason said as he drew his sword

“thats it! Thats what I have been waiting for! You finally being serious!” billy said from afar where he is still gathering energy

Jason then transforms his sword to the laser canon, also building up energy

“hah! What can you really do to me when I can also absorb energy! You will only die in the process jason!” billy said under his breath, smiling

“goodbye billy, though I doubt that I wouldnt see you again, I hope that this would be the original that I am facing.” jason

With that, jason then shoots the laser canon, thus anhialating most of billy.

“you are not the only one which has powered up. By using the power of the quantum, I have dismantled most of your atoms.” jason said to himself

As jason was about to go, he still couldn’t let go of the feeling of danger and approached what remains of billy, just his torso. But when he looked at whats left, he saw bubbles coming from the top of his torso, as if it was trying to regenerate itself.

“you guys really never make this easy for me, don’t you.” jason cursed under his breath

With what remains of billy craw, he also dismantled the remaining atoms by the point of his finger. When the deed was done, he felt no more danger around him and flew towards space, leaving a landscape being shaved and filled with one giant hole, the size of 10 football fields.

At space, inside the excalibur, they were also able to record the battle by using the last remaining drone and with their communications still open.

“wow, all this was made from jasons fight and yet he wasn’t still being serious?” char

“hes not called the most powerful mutant on the planet for nothing. He could just anhialate the entire human race as if it was nothing, or he could do something else, but he chose not to since he chose the path of coexistence.” bruce

“are your powers really working?” char

“yes. When your near me, I can guarantee you that no mind will be able to penetrate my mind block.” bruce

“ok then. How are the others doing?” captain

“all the injured has safely been administered with first aid, while the others are still fighting outside.” bruce

“say, when will jason be able to come back here?” fox said over the comms

“hes coming back alright. And all of us must now be ready for his arrival.” char

“thats good, cause we are all spent up.” fox

“all enemy crafts are destroyed, and red is coming back for refreshment.” erwin

“yes, since it takes a lot out of my sugar just to boost myself. I will now need some food before reinforcements come.” red

After a while of waiting, jason was able to reach the excalibur with just minor bruises from his fight.

“are you guys alright?” jason said over the comms

“everyone is fine here sir, and waiting for your orders.” captain

“alright then, let us rest for 30 minutes before leaving this place.” jason

Jason was now floating near the excalibur where he saw people coming inside

“everyone must be very tired. Though im sure that no one would attack us in this time period of 30 minutes.” jason

“i hope you are right about this sir.” char

“yes, im right. Since I don’t detect any other signs of life within mars surface or at our surroundings.” jason said as he was now at the hatch

“say, how long is your radar really?” char

“i would say about the distance between earth and mars.” jason said as he entered the ship

“thats good. Since we really need some rest!” fox said while sitting down

After that, they were able to rest for 30 minutes where jason literally slept

“he must really be tired from the fight.” bruce said at the distance

“look at all those babies, sleeping like a log.” char said at his own seat

“Anyways, we should also sleep as well and set the timer.” captain

They all agreed and slept the entire 30 minutes.

“sir, wake up sir. We are all ready to continue the mission.” max said as he woke jason up

All of them were now ready in their suits.

“ugh.. alright. Let me eat first and dress up so that we can continue. Have you guys already eaten?” jason said yawning

“yes sir. Though we have left some for you as well.” fox

“thats good. After I finish eating and after us doing our own business, we continue the mission.” jason

“yes sir!” all of them agreed

Jason then eats his fill of food while others are doing their own business, taking a leak, chatting, and tending the injured. After jason had eaten, they again repeat their formation so that they can tug the all gravitons when they bend spacetime to reach near the speed of light. After a few more hours of travel towards earth, they finally reached earth, where jason suddenly receives another precognition.

“oh boy.” jason

“whats wrong sir?” max

“i just received another prophecy, that this time, there will be a traitor who will bring doom to us all.” jason said with a serious face.

“what?!” they all were surprised at the fact

“yes, and I know who that certain someone is.” jason

“who is it? When we get back, I will give him a good whooping!” fox

“no worries. You all will soon see for yourself. And when you do, you all must pick a side.” jason

“what do you mean?” red

“lets all just go inside for now.” jason

As jason orders, they all got inside the excalibur.

“this is captain trinidad speaking, may I ask for jason wild?” saying over the comms

“yes, this is jason speaking. What is it?” jason said as he nears the monitor beside the captain

“we really have got a situation on our hands--”

“i know.” jason

“really?! you know?! it has just been 3 years now since you were away. If so, then you can leave all those gravitons to us, along with all the reptilian prisoners.” trinidad

“yes, we shall. Those fools, they think that its for the best of the world when they are wrong all along. Their pride has gotten the better of them.” jason

“onward then sir?” captain

“yes. Set a course for the philippines. I will personally deal with those fools.” jason said as he gets to his seat

“yes sir.” both char and the captain agreed

“good luck to you jason wild.” trinidad said before he ended transmission

“sir, I may not know whats happening, but how are you sure that the philippines is still safe?” char

“because my sister is there.” jason said with confidence

With that, they have nothing more to say and set a course back towards the philippines. Then after a few hours of re-entry, they were greeted by the origami which delivered them back towards the underground hangar within the company.

“alexa, whats the status?” jason said over the comms when they were about to land

“the situation is dire sir jason. Asia is unaffected, as well as russia and the middle east, but the rest of them has been separated from us. All communications towards those nations has simply been shut down.” alexa

“it is as I thought. Guys, you all stay here while I go to that stupid president.” jason

“wait, my homeland is america. So I must also go along with you.” max said, having a hunch of things

“where you go, I will go.” fox

“are you sure? This will be a dangerous path for you.” jason

“rest assured, when its with you, im always ready.” fox

“im not sure what your saying, but im still going.” max

“alright then.” jason

After they landed, jason took off his suit and got out of the ship. All 2 of them followed him and was a bit shocked at jason flying.

“come on, lets all fly towards the US. We got no time to waste looking for a helicopter to fly for us there.” jason

With that, they agreed and they flew towards the US. When they got there after some time of flight, the first destination that they went is towards the UN headquarters, where a meeting is being held for all world leaders.

“i knew it. They are holding a meeting for all world leaders here.” jason said as he hovers above the building

“so, now what jason? What are you planning to do here?” max

“we are going to stop this meeting.” jason said as he descended towards the entrance

Fox went along as well, though max was a little bit hesitant at first, he also went along with them.

“sir, your not allowed to enter here. You don’t even have passes with you.” said the guard at the entrance

“you know me right? Jason wild.”

“yes sir, though its not an excuse--”

“i really need to speak with all of the world leaders who are all gathered here. Its a matter of life and death.”

“guard, I would do as he says.” fox said, crunching his fists

“stop it fox, we arent here to start a fight with our kind.” jason said as he stopped fox. “guard, I know this is kind of sudden, but please do let me pass.”

“let me check with the head of security first.”

“no need.” the philippine president just showed up

“long time no see president richard, how are things going now?” jason

“not well I suppose. We have information that the US president has attempted contact with the aliens, which was why some of us were reluctant in joining this meeting. If only the US werent the leader of the UN now.” richard

“what?! he attempted to contact those aliens when they we have already sacrificed so much?!” max said furious

“this is why I said that this would be a dangerous path for both of you.” jason

“whatever it is, im sure that you can overcome it jason. Now come with me towards the dressing room.” richard said as they were now heading inside

“no time mr president. Let us begin with our attires like this.” jason said as all 3 of them were just wearing a worn out shirt and shorts.

“yes, I know full well, and just right on time.” jason said as he opens the doors

Around the whole room, there were only very less audience where only a few world leaders were able to attend. While that may be true in the whole room, what caught all their interest was the sight of a pod and a bug alien getting along with mark.

“what is the meaning of this?!” jason shouted

With that, the attention was then focused on jason and the gang in which all of them were surprised, even both the bug alien and mark was surprised.

“what?! who let that guy in?!” mark

“i did! For our protection!” richard shouted as he stepped forward

“anyways, lets all get down to business shall we. What is the meaning of this president mark?” jason said as he flew towards the stage

“dont take one more step forward jason! Or else we will destroy your sister!” mark said as he pointed towards the pod which was being held by the bug alien

“why is my sister there mr president?” jason said as he stopped in mid air

“your sister stopped me from going one time for a private meeting with the US president, which she has gone in turn.” richard

“hahh.. sounds like what I would do, though what happened to her after that was her downfall.” jason said as he faces mark again who was smiling

“hah! You really think that you are the only ones who can communicate and make peace with aliens? Yet we even did a much better job at it that you! Who only knows destruction!” mark proclaimed

“what the hell are you saying you idiot! You let one of them into our own planet!” fox said at the side

“please boy, let jason handle this. Come and sit with me.” richard offered

“no, I will stay here by the doors just in case.” fox said seriously

“well, I will take your offer then mr president.” max

Both richard and max then sat at the space designated for the philippines. Meanwhile, mark and jason were exchanging glares

“you really think that you have won all this time jason? No! America is number 1 you hear!” mark

“no one ever said anything about competing, right everyone?” jason said smiling while everyone was laughing

“what?!” mark was surprised before he turned to the bug alien. “hey, did you say that you will take care of everything?!”

But what mark saw even surprised him, that the bug alien was cowering in fear and frustration at the sight of jason.

“what?! what do you mean that you cant control them?! this isnt what we promised!” mark said as there was a telepathic message from the bug alien

“you know mr president, my powers isnt just for controlling particles--”

“so, you can also control minds huh. Figures!” mark
”nope, wrong again. Your always letting your pride get the better of you like always.” jason said with pity

“you dare embarrass me in front the world leaders?” mark said in anger

“nope. We are transmitting everything via social media as the set up for live footage isnt yet available.” richard said as he was holding his smartphone along with everyone else

“what?!” mark said as he was further speechless

“then, let me ask you dear alien. What are you here for?” jason sent a telepathic message towards the bug alien as he descends towards the stage.

“stay back! I have your sister here! I will mess her mind up if you do!”

“try me, and I will break your mind right now before you could ever do that. Now tell me what are you here for?”

After a few seconds of glaring at each other, the bug alien was all the more fearful of jason as it subconsciously sensed danger out of him

“i-im only here as a convoy to my queen who is just waiting near the sun.”

“what will you do to the sun?”

“we will give the humans darkness, so that we can provide them with fear.”

“well, putting that fact aside, I hope your still connected with your queen.” jason then smiled

“wh-what will you do to me?”

“nothing. Nothing that matters to you.”

“what do you--”

With that, jason then sends a quantum entanglement communication telepathic blast towards the queen which was also watching, which also left a large headache towards the queen.

“you will all pay for this!”

“well, since your objective is just to control humanity anyways, which is why I will kill you right now.”

“hah! If you already knew my objective, why do you even bother to ask me?”

“cause I was looking if you guys really came here for peace.”

“peace? Give me a break. Orders from the queen is absolute! Not even you can convince us you low life creatures!--”

“rest in peace.” jason said both saying through his mouth and his mind before killing the bug alien with a telepathic attack

“what are you doing to it?! you are going to lose our ticket to peace with these guys!” mark said as he grabs jason and faces him straight

“as for you, I will punish you for being a damn jerk.” jason

“what?! you will punish me? When I will be the one to punish you! And what did I even do wrong when what I only wish was for peace with them?!” mark said pointing his finger at jason

“i know, I cant blame you for what you have done. But you could have just believed in me, another human, for telling the truth instead of listening to your pride.” jason

“what the heck are you talking about? You are just a filipino. Even if you might be telling the truth, you are just from a 3rd world country which knows nothing of the real world.” mark

“a bit true, that I know nothing about the real world. But this much is true, that due to the recent events over the years and as much as we have learned from their biology, it is in their nature to destroy.” jason

“what?” mark said smiling as if he has won again

“its true you know! Our scientists have all studied the nature of both reptilians and bug aliens and it turns out that they really cant coexist with us as intelligent life forms. Since they have been found out that both of them eats meat, and their nature is that they are savages from the day they are born.” the queen said on her seat

As everyone was freed from the bug aliens mind control, due to the presence of jason, they were able to properly assess on the situation.

“what load of gibberish!” mark shouted towards the queen. “and since when where some of you recording our conversation?! stop this this instant!”

“the world deserves to know mr president.” african president

“and you may have never paid attention to your scientists am I right?” the queen
”since the cat is out of the bag, there is nothing to hide anymore. Yes, scientists only speak crap. I don’t understand them and will never get along with them.” mark

“and that is also part of your sin, your pride. It has clouded your judgement time and time again, even though its all for the sake of your country.” jason

“yes! Everything I do is for the sake of the country--” mark

“and you were planning on what on my sister again mr president?” jason said as he walks towards the pod

As mark was frustrated, jason then opens the pod to only see that it was only some kind of liquid.

“gladly, I know where to look for my sister.” jason said with a serious face

“dont look at me, I don’t know anything about your stupid sister. Only they were the ones who took care of everything!” mark now sounding frantic

“not only has your pride gotten the better of you, but you ended up being a traitor to mankind.” jason said as he walks towards in front of mark

“what do I care what happens to your sister!--”

“do you know what they are planning next?” jason

“what? you know right? Since you have been communicating with them telpathically. I knew it!--”

“hahh.. don’t you know that I don’t have the power to control minds. Only talk with other minds at a certain distance through my powers of quantum entanglement communication. Which only minds with a high IQ and mutants can establish communications with me.” jason

“that is the first I have heard of such an ability, what else would you be hiding? Look--” mark

“if you only paid close attention to your scientists, you could have already guessed all of my powers pertaining to the quantum.” jason said as he was smirking

“and what proof do you have that you can read minds huh?!” mark

“the proof is that I found out about their plan to block out our sun so that we would be plunged into darkness, instilling fear to us.” jason

Everyone heard what jason said and they just couldn’t believe it.

“anyways, let me and my team handle the situation. As for his punishment..” jason said reassured the crowd before looking at mark again. “you will become what you wont think about becoming.”

“and what is--”

With that, jason pointed his finger to mark and slowly changed his shape and structure, into that of a female, all except for the voice.

“what happened to me?! what did you do to me?!” mark said as he checked himself

“from now on, your name shall be marla, and you are now a mutant with the power of wall”

“what?! what are you--” mark said as he bumped into some kind of wall when he walked towards jason. “what is this?!”

“that is your power miss president. And I wont help you develop it. You can manage on your own right?” jason said as he walks towards the exit

“you will help your own kind right? Then help--”

“i don’t help jerks.”

Mark/marla was then so frustrated that he/she wasn’t able to control the anger inside, as all the others were packing their things and leaving.

“wait! What about the plan! We must make peace with the aliens!” mark

“accept the facts mis president. If they arent using their brains, they might as well just be animals.” african president

By that time, jason and his companions had exit the room before all others exited.

“ughh.. what happened to me?” jackie said as she woke up in a dark chamber

as her powers are elemental, as she was only able to borrow the elements from any given source and the only source that she has sensed was just electricity, she just produced an electric ball in her hands. After examining the place, she figured that she was inside an alien ship. Then the lights just opened itself up only to her surprise that she was lying in the queens chamber, which it was also her first time seeing a queen up close and asleep. But as much to her amazement of the current situation, the queen just suddenly woke up where the first thing that she did was attempting to brainwash her. She suddenly felt a surging mental pain in her head which made her squirm on the table, and dropped on the floor before long due to the pain of the mind control.

“so this is what my brother feels.” jackie said to herself

And due to the pain of mind control, as soon as she woke up, she fainted again. At the same time all this was happening, on earth.

“if I say I don’t need help, what would you guys do?” jason

They were now at the briefing room inside mason industries where jason is explaining on what to do in the future.

“i saw your exploits on social media, and it was good.” erwin

“but you would still need our help with the rescue mission.” red

“for this, you must need our help right?” fox

“i do, but--” jason

“no buts! All of us mutants are with you!” fox

“what would you do max?” jason said to max who was just sitting at the back

“i was also kind of thinking of going, but due to the light of what happened at the UN and earth without a protector, I don’t think I will go with you.” max

“what? You will miss the adventure my friend.” fox

“everything to you is like an adventure. I kind of envy your innocence.” max said smirking

“anyways, was my fight with billy also recorded? I was also able to find it on social media when i had my break time with my phone.” jason

“you surprised?" Alexa said as she entered the room.

"Yes, though you guys could have told me earlier about it. And im just glad that it was all captured in HD." Jason

"Anyways, what do we do now? We just cant get anywhere in space without permission from the UN since the last time we did get permission, the philippine government was disabled authority by the US government." Alexa said as she was seated on her chair

"With all 5 of us here, except max, we could basically get there in mere hours." Jason

"You dont mean--" erwin

"Yes. The same way we did during the last mission." Jason

"I see, we could do that." Red

"Though if even one of you wont make the journey with me, then i can also do it myself." Jason

"Well, he can do it by himself, why wont--" erwin

"Oh dont be such a wuss erwin! Man up!" Red said pointing at him

"Shes right. Though this will be a tough fight in all fronts." Fox

"Dont worry guys, with our numbers, we can basically achieve this mission easy." Jason

"But how?" Alexa

By then, jason sensed that jackie was in danger.

"Guys, we got no time left, we must act quickly!" Jsaon said in a hurry to the door

"What happened? And why do you say that?" Charlie said as they were also about to stand

"I sensed that my sister is in danger. And i think that shes with the queen right now, and the queen is probably attempting to control her mind like everyone else." Jason

"Yes, that is certainly urgent and calls for immediate action." Alexa

"Lets go!" Jason gestured for them to follow him

"But how do we get there?" Erwin

"We fly on our own." Jason

"Our suits would probably have oxygen for at least an hour or so, i suggest that we ride a ship." Charlie

"Thats reasonable, though we still wont be able to go anywhere with the current situation." Red

"I will provide air for everyone for the whole trip, even control the temperature for you guys so that we can have enough air for our suits to last for the whole mission. Now come on!" Jason said as he finally got out of the door

With just a second of hesitation, the others then followed suit. After a few minutes of preparation, they were able to fly towards space. Fox with his gravity, red with her rocket, erwin with his power of space, charlie with his power to talk with machines, and jason who is able to accomodate everything else for the whole trip and back.

"Stop there unidentified persons or vehicles! No one is yet to have permission for space travel just yet!" An officer said after tuning in to all frequencies for a few minutes

"This is jason wild, reporting in for an independent mission!" Jason said as they stopped for a while

"This is captain trinidad, what happened to your ship?"

"We left it behind since we have no permission yet for space travel, as this is an urgent mission that cant be delayed." Jason

"You can now get your ship, the US government just resumed authority for philippines and they officially filed for a rescue mission. The mission is a go, and anytime you guys are ready."

Hearing that, the team all celebrated.

"That was fast." Jason said during that time

"Only because the philippine president pushed for it, and was supported by the other world leaders. Because he knew you would immediately go to rescue your only sister from harm"

"Thats great sir! Lets all go and get excalibur." Charlie

With that, the whole team was happy to hear and they descended to get the ship. As a graviton was on standby for them to launch towards the top of the sun where it was detected where the aliens would be, they immediately launched after a while of preparations for the excalibur. After a few more minutes, they launched into space where the bug aliens were all waiting. After some time from the jump, they finally arrived at the whole bug alien army which was still building the device to put out the sun.

"Guys, this will only be a rescue mission, got that? Let me handle everything else including destroying the device that they are building." Jason said while all of them were on their seats

They were now near the enemy stronghold where they are just hovering to discuss the battle plan.

"Yes sir!" All of them confirmed

"Sir, how do we locate the hostage?" Erwin

"Leave that to me, since i can sense where she is. Also, for anything else you run into along the way, i leave that to your decision fox." Jason

"Yes sir!" Fox

"Why does fox have to be the leader?" Erwin

"Because he saw no other that can lead right?" Red

"Enough of that. I just saw no one can do a better job for now." Jason

"Even if its for now, i wont let you down sir!" Fox

"Thats the spirit!" Red

"Anyways, get ready guys!" Captain said before laser fire started

"Thats my qeue." Jason said as he stood and walked towards the hatch

With jason outside of the excalibur, they all went towards the center big ship which was the one shooting more lasers than any other ship where they just followed jason. As jason took all of the laser fire from the aliens, he also deflected them all back towards the ships twice the power, leaving them with heavy damage. And he did all this while pressing forward along with the excalibur towards the mother ship.

"Maybe we arent that needed here right?" Erwin

"Hahh.. remember, this is a rescue mission. Leave all the heavy stuff to sir jason." Fox

"Hes right erwin. With sir jason with us, those monsters would stand no chance!" Red

"Alright then." Erwin said as he just gave up on trying to get out of the mission

But as erwin still remembered, the helping hand that jason extended during the awakening of his own powers as he was very reluctant to volunteer for the program, he told himself to man up a little bit so that he can save a life and be of good use to someone who extended his help. As they were now near the big mother ship, jason stopped and signals for the mission to start. As the mission has started, all team members except bruce, who protects the pilots, now began their rescue mission towards one of the holes that jason has made. Since the mission has begun, jason has stayed behind to protect the excalibur from any harm. With lasers at hand, fox and the others shoots the bug aliens from the ship attempting to repair it and enters the hole.
