Chapter 2_2

“you think we are going to be alright in here?” charlie said, with laser guns on hand while fighting off bug aliens

“yes, we have to trust jason with this plan, as he is trusting us!” fox

“i know you are loyal to him fox, but why?” erwin said as he threw a grenade at the bug aliens

“because he gave me a home when no one accepted me for who I am. I volunteered for this since im very poor, so this is as a way I can live.” fox said as he takes cover on the side

“what about you red?” erwin

“same as fox, though im abandoned by my own family. I came from the middle class family in paris but I chose to be a soldier, so they abandoned me and im now living alone.” red

“did you pass the exam to be a soldier?” erwin

“nope. Which is why I volunteered, got no place else to go.” red said after she fired a few rounds

“what about you charlie?” erwin

“its a little embarrassing, so I wont tell.” charlie

“come on. Everyone has finished telling their stories.” erwin

“except you and charlie.” fox

“enough talk guys, the path is clear.” red

“alright, lets move. Charlie, do you have the layout of the whole ship?” fox said as they were all moving

“yes. Leave the navigation to me.” charlie said as he ran ahead

With that, they repeat the process up until they found the queens chamber where charlie found jackie on a pod.

“brace yourselves guys, this is where everything will get really bumpy.” fox

“whats the plan?” erwin

“charlie, where are the doors to the queens chamber?” fox

“its just this big door alone.” charlie
”damn it. So the only plan that we have is a frontal attack.” fox

“dang, this is like an RPG with the last boss.” erwin said being nervous and all

“are you guys ready?” erwin

“red, watch our six. I go front.” fox

They all agreed and fox opened the doors slowly, with the help of charlie. but as they opened the door, they found a dark place.

“guys, remember to be very quiet. The queen is sleeping right now.” charlie said as they tiptoed at the side with their flashlights

“good. Lets take miss jackie and get out of here.” fox

They then found jackie on a pod and charlie released her from her sleep. But what they also found were a lot of clones of billy craw, which also creep them out, and they slowly released jackie out of the pod. Charlie then put a mask on her and grabbed her and put her on his back while the others were guarding them. And as they were now near the exit, the door suddenly shut and the lights went on, causing alarm to them. For the first time, they saw a queen up close, where it then woke up and was very angry to see the sight of humans on her ship.

“charlie, do what you can with the door! We will hold her off!” fox said as he now points his laser gun towards the queen

The queen then picks up her sword and stood with her small legs, as she was as tall as the whole chamber, along with her feet. As they struggle to open the door, the queen was identifying who is trying to override her commands and found charlie. She then plunged her sword towards charlie but was interrupted when they all fired their lasers at her eyes. From that attack, she was blinded and attacked the whole floor with her sword. Luckily, fox protected them with his gravity, making the sword slide towards the side every time she thrashes it down. They repeat this process until they were able to finally open the door.

“hurry!” fox

With that, they were able to escape, but only to have the queen and the other bug aliens chase after them. They ran franticly until they finally were able to locate the hole where they exited, where jason was also waiting. And when the queen finally got her vision back she was sliced into two pieces by jason just outside the mother ship.

"Come on guys! Lets get inside the excalibur. Is the hostage secure?" Jason gestured towards the ship

"Yes sir!"

All of them then loaded themselves into the ship while all the other enemy ships where at a disarray, since the queen was slain.

"Alright, lets exit here for now." Jason

"Roger that sir." Captain

They all then buckled up and the excalibur escaped from the enemies den.

"Stop here for now, i have to do something first." Jason said to the captain as he unfastened his belt

"What will you do this time sir?" Captain

"Just watch, though its just something your familiar with." Jason said as he floats towards the hatch

"Oh yeah! There was still the issue of destroying the sun blocker" erwin

"Whats with the lame name?" Red said and they all laughed

"Anyways, wont be long guys." Jason said before he went out

From the outside where they also sent a drone to watch what jason will do, jason floats towards some distance at the front of the ship where then unsheath his sword to transform it into a laser canon. And as he are still near the sun, he just gathered solar energy from the sun where it is still at its greatest and was able to charge the canon. He then aimed the canon at the alien ships, specially the machine which will be used to block the sun, and shoots the laser canon thus destroying both the ships and the machine.

"With that, they will be back to square one as they might be low on materials when they will get here." Jason said after he was done, after some time of work destroying the bug aliens.
