Chapter 4

“we bring you this report today all about the people on the ships which were rescued in space. It seems that they are disappearing from our eyes! More to this report with camelia sanchez.”

“this is camelia sanchez reporting to you about the rescued people in space, which they rode gravitons along the way. It seems that by them meeting their doubles inside their rooms at the hospital would cause them to disappear! The incidents was captured all on video where one person just had to meet their future double, but then just disappeared even if some were separated. We have professor sai from american university to answer.”

“It seems that time wont allow future travelers into the past. Time itself is a very complex topic and still requires more research, though what we mostly know about time is that it is always forwards. And because its always forwards that when a person would go backwards in time, they would eventually disappear in the present after some time, as if their particles would just dissipate into thin air. It may also be true with clothes but clothes worn from the present would stay in the present.” professor

“as it stands, the only one who hasn’t disappeared yet are those who hadnt met their doubles and the only woman who has woken up. Though that may be the case, it seems there has been a very strict no visitors policy regarding the one who just who woke up, declining any interviews from us. The UN will release an official statement soon regarding their interview with the evacuee, as they call her. This is camelia sanchez, for abc news.”

Jason was now in front of the woman who just woke up, along with some world leaders, inside the room at the UN at the US, where she is riding a wheelchair. The whole meeting was even aired, as it was a formal emergency meeting and as per jasons suggestion. The woman was also still wearing the same clothes as what she wore when she was rescued.

“now people, remember that you may ask questions one by one only. She has just woken from her not long comatose.” jason said in the mic

“no worries sir jason, it is also you after all who suggested we go back in time to warn everyone, even if this would mean that the present would branch off from the destined path.” the woman said as she slowly grabs the mic from jason

“first off, whats your name?” jason

“im jessica shell, a soldier fighting alongside the great war against the bug aliens and the reptilians.”

“where were you during the great escape?”

“i was in my fighter when all that happened, guarding the gravitons on their journey. I still remember sir jasons back when he was the only one left to fend off the enemy invaders just for all of us to escape, all humans and mutants alike.” jessica

“did jason also explain what might happen to the people once they travel to the past?”

“yes, he was even against it. But for the better hope for the people that he saw suffering, he chose and supported for all of us to go to the past.” jessica

“what happened during the great war? Can you explain?”

“we will all lose, no, america will lose all thanks to president baron! If he didn’t back out at the last moment just to do defence, we would have won back our country!”

There was then ruckus within the audience as they knew that baron was no good.

“anyways, what else can you tell?” jason

“as far as I can remember sir jason, ever since the fall of the US, all other nations fell one after another. The other countries even tried to nuke the US and other countries near it as it fell, but it was useless as they have both space, arial, and land advantage. We had to move every of our forces to the philippines where sir jason was. After about a year into the great war, they have successfully put out the sun. Since all the ships in outer space were destroyed, and many innocent people were killed, we have already been on the loosing streak.” jessica

As she was all saying this, she began to cry and the audience were all heart broken.

“lets take it slow miss jessica, don’t--” jason said as he comforts her

“no sir jason, we don’t have that much time left. As we speak, the alien forces are now gathering and about to attack soon.” jessica said as she desperately tried to wipe away her tears

“ok then. Please continue.”

“anyways, because of marks reckless actions, our perfect defence was obliterated and the aliens were able to kill us all. I have even lost many precious things to me!”

“yes, we know. But as we don’t have much time, what happened after you had your last fortress in the philippines?” jason

“yes, after that, the world around us was now very dark. But even still, only sir jason was the only one who gave all of us hope, along with his platoon of highly skilled mutants to guard the whole philippines. But even if they may be highly skilled, they were no match for the sheer numbers of the aliens and they fell one by one. So as soon as it was only jason who was left, along with his team, the leaders of the rebel team and jason all searched for a way to survive. They even cuddled around sir jason as he was the only one who brought warmth towards a whole town filled with refugees, just like a portable nuclear reactor. After an intensive meeting, they finally decided to go with the plan to bring as many people to the past as possible to warn the past and for a better future, which all of us were fully prepared to sacrifice our lives on the line just for the mission.” jessica

“and here we are now, right?”

“yes. Though sir jasons team all fell one after another after one on one fights against the bug aliens and reptilians inside the ship, all of them were all divided after all. But we were all able to take all of the gravitons which are still operational, and with it, we were able to escape towards the project rockstar which was used to reverse the spin of the wormhole for us to travel back in time. I still also remember sir jasons words over the comms.” jessica said before she cried again

“what did he say?”

“if only we could have all worked together in this war, my wife and my unborn child would have still lived until now, as well as the 6 elemental maidens. Pride is nothing than doing the right thing! Damn it! Hope this plan works, and may the gods and entities guide their safe journey! If only mark hadnt lived! If only billy hadnt lived! If only many things didn’t happen! Damn it all! Thats what he said before losing comms and doing a supernova move against a number of enemies.” jessica

“you guys have heard it right? From a future survivor of the war to come. Let us all now join hands in a final effort to right the wrongs of our bretherens.” jason

“we wouldnt call mutants our bretheren!”

“we wouldnt call mark and billy our bretheren! Its the fault of the US! They should all pay for their mistakes!”

“this goes to show that US shouldnt have stayed the most powerful country in the world.”

“enough! What if your people has done something like this?! pride is nothing before the right thing! I totally agree with the thought, since its also one of my quotes! Anyways! Its not just me who will suffer, its all of us! If we wont stick together and work together!” jason shouted on the mic

“there is no need to shout sir jason, I understand that this would be no simple matter to resolve, since it pertains to their fear and pride mixing together.” jessica

“so what if we should work together?! we got nothing to gain from all this!”

“nothing to gain?! even in the face of defeat, your all still talking about money?!” jessica said as she grabbed the mic from jason

“i know how you feel, so lets also give you a mic.” jason said as he signals the staff

There was chaos all over the audience, and some even fought against each other.

“sir jason, I think that this time, you should take the lead in all this in the war.” jessica said as she was finally given a mic

“what?!” all of them said

“you are the only one I know in this timeline which has high virtues, leadership, and the power to lead the front lines against the enemy.” jessica

There was chaos again in the audience after they have heard those words, as everyone of them wants to play the leader.

“i know how you feel jessica, but im more suited for combat than leading--” jason said to jessica on her face

“no! It must be you!--”

“i know the situation, and we just cant add more fear to the situation.”

“then make a vote for it! Let the people decide right now on who shall lead then!” jessica said towards the audience who suddenly went quiet

As the meeting was made live, the world leaders just couldn’t ignore this, so they all made a decision for an urgent vote.

“we agree for the vote! Let the people vote on who shall lead. But how?”

“this is the age where we still have electronics right? How about an E-vote?” jessica

They couldn’t argue with that fact, and they all agreed. But it was also then that jessica began disappearing.

“whoa! Its happening!”

“are you sure about this jessica? About our conversation earlier that I should do nothing.” jason

“yes, I wish to be reunited with my loved ones in heaven.” jessica said with a smile

“alright then.” jason said with a sad face

“what?! your not going to do anything--”

“i have made my decision! So back off!” jessica said angrily. “thank you sir jason, for all that you have done”

“i havent don’t anything yet you know.” jason

“then I will thank you for all the things that you will do now. I hope this future would be better than ours.” jessica said before she finally disappeared.

With that event, they all agreed to have an E-vote, all over the world. And the results were that 60% of the votes agrees with jason being the leader of the whole world, for the war only, while other votes were for their respective presidents and leaders.

With a year left remaining towards the great war, jason then declares of the speeding up of production of projects and repairs of ships so that they can better prepare for the upcoming war.

“hey jason, when will you be able to come home?” alexa said over the comms

They were both communicating via video call, with alexa at their home, and jason during his break from work. Jason was currently in space where he was visiting for progress of the repairs to the gravitons and the other ships.

“i don’t know hun, that I really don’t know yet. But if something ever happens to you, my radar will be able to pick it up and I will come rushing.” jason
”no worries hun, everything is still alright here. So you can work hard there.” alexa

“how is everyone there?” jason

“ever since you got elected, everybody has just been really busy with work.” alexa

“well, thats to be expected, since I set everyone to work immediately. Haha.” jason said with a little laugh

“ugh. Hes moving again. And this time, its a bit painful.” alexa

“are you alright hun?” jason
”yes, im al--” alexa

But it was also then that she dropped her phone from the live call and started calling for help. She was also in the kitchen that time where everyone was busy preparing for lunch when it all happened. Jason then hurriedly ran towards the hangar of the station where he was at and quickly had everyone get to safety so that he can open the doors a little bit, just for him to pass through with the excuse of the truth. After he was finally able to go out of the hangar, he went straight to earth while basically ignoring re-entry, and flew towards the city where they both live, the same city where the school for mutants are situated. With his quantum link (quantum entanglement communication), he was able to pinpoint his wifes location, where she is now being carried by an ambulance towards the nearest hospital.

“doctor, will she be alright?” jason said after the delivery was done where he was still sitting on the bench just outside.

“shes alright, and congratulations, you now have a son.”

“o-ok..” jason said while fidgeting

“sir jason, please calm down. Its already hot enough that your here.”

“oh, sorry. Was at space just earlier and im still a bit hot from re-entry.” jason

“o-ok then. You mutants are really something else.”

“nope, that is just me though. Anyways, will I be alright? Will all my responsibilities and stuff, will I be able to properly raise the child?” jason

“yes, you can. It all just comes down to your decision and determination as a father.”

“ok then doc, as you said. This nervousness is really taking a lot out of me.” jason

“well, she will be alright, I assure you. Since she just delivered a healthy baby boy, you can now see them.”

“why didn’t you say so? Though im still very nervous, and a bit happy.” jason

“i know that this is still war time sir, but let me assure you that everything is going to be alright.” the doctor said as she assisted jason towards the delivery room where both of them were waiting. Then after a few minutes, jason reports towards the world leaders and posted on his social media, of the new born baby, and the reason why he has to skip the rest of the inspection of the repairs. Later on, many celeberties, officials, and members of his team all visited them for a few minutes. Jason was even excused for some time by the world leaders, so that he can attend their new born. Though as he is still responsible for his role, they all agreed for his to work remotely on everything, while jason was at home taking care of alexa and jake.

“guys, we also gotta work fast so that we can protect our sun from them. Do you understand the weight of the responsibility your carrying?” jason

“yes sir! But the men needs--”

“i know what the men needs, though a fiesta while at work must not happen.” jason

“yes sir, understood.”

“instead take turns on eating. Work must not stop, is that clear?” jason

“yes sir! Thank you sir!”

With his approval, they then ended the transmission.

“hey hun, will you be alright here? Its going to be a lot of lonely nights from now on.” jason said as he was eating breakfast on their house

“no worries. As long as jackie and red are here to accompany me, I will be alright.” alexa said as she was washing the dishes

“well, thats good. So, what are they up to these days?”

“jackie is doing good at being substitute CEO of mason industries while red is her assistant.”

“thats good.”

“how are things with the rest of the team?”

“max is doing great as the newly elected president of the US, while fox and the others are taking care of training cadets and space soldiers of both mutants and regulars alike.” jason said before he finished eating

“thats good. At least they have something they can pour their boredom into. Since with you leading everyone right now, the world has known peace that it has never known since the world was still divided.” alexa said as she now cleans the table

“you flatter me.”

“no really, I guess jessica really said the truth, that you must be a great leader.”

“haha. Im just doing my job after all, like everyone else in the crisis.”

“lets watch TV now for the latest report.” alexa said as she picks up the remote

“-- it seems that the enemy is here! Its finally time folks! Live here from NASA is a footage of --”

It was also then that jasons phone rang, as well as alexas.

“its time.” both of them said to each other

“hello?” jason answers his phone

“jason, its finally time.”

“i know general, I can see the report on TV.”

“yes, they are now gathering on top and bottom of our own solar system. Its a complete pincer attack on both sides!”

“calm down general, we can all do this. Just stick to the plan that we have been developing for months now.”

“i know. But the sheer number of ships, according to our telescopes, are estimated about a million--”

“put that number in a billion general, we still basically don’t know whats out there in the universe.”

“yes, about that, with the current estimations, its estimated that this war would last about 30 to 40 years!”

“yes, I know the math. But we also have the technology to drive all of them back right?”

“yes, but report says that all repairs to all ships are still about 80% done.”

“thats enough for now. Lets stick to the plan, have the mutants protect the sun while all the non mutants and some few mutants will stay and protect the planet. Though for the estimations, we will have 20% of our forces on top and 20% on bottom, thats also including mutants on the list. And for the rest, they will protect earth. Got that?”

“yes, we know. Though all this war stuff really puts us all on edge.”

“dont worry, its just like having an interview. Throw away the nervousness and think of everything else later, right now, focus on whats in front of you.” jason

“as you say sir.”

“good. Remember, have 10% of our total forces stay behind as ground forces just in case some of them are able to slip by, and I mean the non mutant ones.”

“i agree, since only 10% of the total forces are mutants, we cant afford to lose more of either side.”

“no worries, if it comes to it, the lavalads and coolers are willing to help on the ground while the jellydols will help on the water.”

“i see. Have they come to the agreement of cooperating with us?”

“yes. I have personally seen to it that they can help.”
”you have really been busy.”

“yes, its my responsibility after all. Anyways, will be at space as soon as im done here.”

“alright. God speed.” the general said before he hung up

“hey hun, whats your status?” jason said as alexa wait waiting for him to finish

“it seems that im needed at the company, we are to get busy with orders for repair parts once the war starts.” alexa

“alright. Will you bring the baby along?”

“yes, of course, I will bring the baby in my office. We will take turns taking care of it.”

“ok then. Lets go.” jason said as he stood

with the origami, jason was transported towards the pentagon where max was waiting for him.

“sorry im late guys.” jason said as he arrives at the control center of the pentagon

The room was like a control room, but only with monitors at the front.

“no worries sir jason, glad you could make it.” max said as they shook hands

“as it stands, we have no idea when they will ever attack.” one of the generals said

“we have already 90% of our total forces up in space as planned, but they arent coming here.”

They were also looking at the monitors which displayed both satellite and telescope feed, which also shows the military command centers from all over the world.

“hahh.. why should they come here when they could all just wait it out up there?” jason

“for what exactly?”

“for us to lower down our guard.” jason

“how could you say that? What is your basis?”

“experience in martial arts generals. The enemy consists of both brains and muscle.” jason

“what? They are aliens jason. They have different cultures than us.”

“but their fighting experience is way more than ours, since with more experience, one would tend to use that experience and instincts more than their brains in an actual fight.” jason

“really?” max

“yes. Since you have all the experience for fighting, you wont need to use your brain anymore as it will become muscle memory, and auto response with the muscles and the brain.” jason

“i see. So they arent that different from us in some ways.”

“yes. But only due to their instincts as animals, they always long for a fight. Just like how the animal kingdom is always about the survival of the fittest.” jason

“but if they are also intelligent enough to understand us, why do you think they need us killed?”

“with the growing population and declining of food sources, what do carnivors do?” jason

“oh. But don’t they also eat--”

“we have already checked with some captured aliens at area 61, and they all don’t do friendly. And they only eat meat as well.” max

“dang it! There has to be something that we can do!”

“you guys are still clinging to the fact of peace when the enemy doesnt want it. They want us as food sources while we see them as friends, that certainly doesnt make sense.” jason said as he walked forward a bit

“so what we should all do is just to accept the facts and protect ourselves as best as we can.” max

“but how can we do that in this situation? At this rate, it will just be a battle of attrition in another meaning.”

“yes, they could just overwhelm us with their sheer numbers, though we could also do the same in time.” max

“how about we attack instead? Im sure that the enemies arent that well coordinated.” jason

“what? How can you say that?”

“remember, I have the quantum link ability with me.” jason

“oh yeah, your ability to read the subconscious.”

“its truly a remarkable ability coming from the power of the quantum.”

“true, but I needed the 6 elemental maidens to control this power. Anyways, what we should do is a frontal attack.” jason said as he now faces the generals with a serious face

“but wont we be at a disadvantage?”

“we are already at a disadvantage with their sheer numbers. It now just all comes to eat or be eaten.” max

“so you support his strategy mr president?”

“yes. We have everything to lose whereas they have nothing to lose. This battle is just like a game to them, but to us, its more like a battle for survival.” max

“i have already taken a good look at their brightest minds, through the quantum link, but all of them are still subject to their instincts.” jason

“which is to hunt and eat meat.” max

“when do we make the first strike then?”

“right now would be good.” max and jason said together before they did a fist bump

“right now?! cant we just wait until our ships are all fully repaired?”

“nope, we cant. We must make the strike while they don’t anticipate. They view us like cattle, remember?” jason

Max agrees to this, and eventually, the generals also agreed.

“you heard that world leaders and military men? We agree to do a frontal strike right now!” max

They all had a hard time thinking of the statistical advantages of the war itself, but they were at a disadvantage as jason had said.

“gosh, they really are slow.” max

“well, they have to do the best course of action after all, for as many of their people as possible to live.” jason

After some time of discussing with themselves, they finally have voted. Some of them chose the decision for peace talks while some chose to defend. And while majority votes for the attack, including China and Russia.

“its good that we had an agreement for once, majority of leaders around the world.” max

“alright! So that settles it then." Jason

"Sir, why are you happy?" Max

"Well, this is what our actions should have been from the beginning, when dealing with them." Jason

"Uhh.. your acting like a child like that." Max said witha face palm

"Ahem. Alright then. Though its alright to be like this sometimes right? After all--" jason

"Your a very friendly guy" both of them said before they laughed

"Ok, i know your the youngest president to be in office, but--"

"I know generals, i know. Well then, lets begin our frontal attack." Max

They then turned on the communications for an encrypted line for all allied ships in space and for all soldiers on earth, and max gave a speech for their encouragement as well. With that, all 40% of the total forces all begin their advance towards the sun, with both military ships and some gravitons.

“sir, incoming transmission from captain fudge from the army towards the sun.” an operator said at the pentagon operations room

They were now doing strategic planning on the control room when the transmission came.

“put him through.” max

“this is captain fudge from the ship madonna, we have a situation going to our position.”

“what is it captain?” max

“we have enemy ships in sight, and building for what it seems to be a giant ring of sorts.” fudge

“oh boy, there they go again.” jason

“thats probably the sun blocker that we encountered on our mission one time.” max

“yes, a dyson sphere, I looked it up on google. Anyways, go ahead and destroy it.” jason

“on whose approval will this attack be sir?” fudge

“you are to attack it under my orders. We must not afford to lose the sun, or else the cycle of life on earth will be destroyed.” max

“yes sir!”

The ship madonna and many other ships on that army then all aimed their lasers towards the dyson sphere which the aliens were building, and fired only when they were at a distance. After the attack, all of them were now able to position themselves on both top and bottom of the solar system, ready for the frontal assault.

“sir, enemy ships and mother ships spotted just above and below our solar system! Distance, 700 kilometers!”

“sir, we are ready to proceed.” fudge

“fire!” max

With that command, they all then fired at will towards the alien ships and motherships just one time, but that one time was just enough for them as the reptilian motherships and fighters all engaged towards the allied forces.

“attack now! And Bring out the mutants!” max

“ready the reinforcements!” jason

The army then attacked the invading alien fighters and motherships with their lasers, while the mutants ready themselves from both corners of the solar system.

“are you ready fox?” erwin

“im always ready when you are erwin.” fox

With both of them ready for action, they then led a platoon of mutants from both corners of the solar system for the attack, while they all ride an excalibur out into space. Meanwhile near earth, an alien ship suddenly appears itself in front of the army and blasts a ship with a giant laser coming from it.

“sir! We just lost a ship!”

“what?! status report!” max

“the ship galileo has suffered severe damage near the earths atmosphere! And the laser just hit some parts of india sir!”

“damn it! They have that kind of weapon?!” max

“no, this is certainly a weapon, but not what you would expect.” jason

“what do you mean sir?” max

"Its billys clones. I will go and take care of them." Jason said as he walks towards the door

"How about a ride there sir?" Max

"There may be a pilot, but it will be too late by then. Will just take a suit and fly there." Jason said as he has gone past the door

"Damn hes right. Anyways, lets all wish him good luck out there." Max

"Wasnt billy dead on mars?"

"Only his original is. And by then, he was already a monster being put with alien DNA for regeneration abilities." Max

"Is that possible? I mean, they are amphibian or bug and we are just human."

"Its possible, but its kind of complicated. It takes some time of research to perfect cloning and genetic manipulation." Max

"So up there, those are just his clones right?"

"We dont know. All that we know is that those are not the billy craw that everyone knew." Max

The generals then has gone quiet for a while, praying for humans and mutants alike to win the war. Jason then also finished putting on the space suit that was available, since max had brought space suits just in case they were needed to go to space, and flew towards the Yggdrasil to hop into an excalibur which he drove himself. Then during another laser attack towards another ship, jason plunged head on towards the laser blast the size of the US and deflected it, still having the ship intact before he went outside.

"lets rock billy.” jason said as he floats into position

As the camouflaged ship cant hide from jason, he then hits the alien ship with his laser canon at full power, when it was still moving away. The camouflage broke down and the alien ship was visible at a distance, where jason saw hideous forms of clones of what was billy, and a bug alien at the center which probably is controlling the clones. And with their powerful telescopes, the pentagon was also able to see the hideous state of billy’s clones, where the people at the pentagon was dismayed by what they saw.

“poor things, let me put you guys to rest to end your suffering.” jason said as he charged his canon for another round

Before jason was able to charge, there were multiple laser canons heading towards earth from certain positions of at least 6 or 7 lasers. As this surprised jason, he has no other choice but to end everything quickly.

“ya, I thought you might need some help so I came.” jackie said over the comms

“yes! Your here!” jason said delightful

“ya, how should I help?”

“make the earth absorb all the lasers through storms and its magnetic field and fire it all on me!” jason

“what?! fire it out on you? Are you insane?”

“nope. But thats the only way that I can perfectly incinerate all the billy clones out there on those ships.”

“alright then, I will do it.”

“give it all your best shot sis! We wont win this with half baked methods, remember that.”

“so they are that powerful huh.”

“of course, their laser blasts are the size of US and they have numbers on their side, I cant afford to be lax about this.”

“alright, here goes.” jackie said as she forms storm clouds on earth as well as manipulate earths magnetic fields

After a few seconds that jackie was able to form those storm clouds, another barrage of laser blasts hurdle towards earth and towards jason on his front. But after the earth has absorbed and redirected all of the laser blasts towards jasons back, his laser canon was then fully charged, and he then blasts those alien ships one by one forming a line and avoiding all the other allied ships.

“ya, that was insane! And.. im tired.” jackie said as she came near jason who has sparks all over

“yeah, me too. Lets go back.”

With the crisis over now, they both flew towards the excalibur just lying at a distance so that they can go back to earth. Meanwhile on the other side of the planet, some aliens were able to infiltrate earth where they immediately go towards certain places, like their military center, their construction center, and their power plants. But at that time, the other side of the globe was in America.

“this is coal, one of the coolers, over.”

“what is it coal?” max

“i have spotted both bugs and reptilians sneaking around a power plant.”

“this is kurt, I have spotted one too at a construction center.”

“this is hurl, I have spotted one too near the pentagon.”

“damn it! All ground forces! Prepare for battle! they are here!” max commanded at the pentagon. “I will also go myself.”

“becareful sir!” the generals warns as he walks towards the door

“in this war, failure is not an option.” max said as he salutes his generals before going

With his power of magnetism, max was able to detect where the enemies are exactly as the guns they carry are made out of alien metal.

“give up now, or else face the consequences!” max shouted as after he flew up from the center of the pentagon

But as he said that, he was welcomed by laser beams from their guns.

“so be it.” max said as he manipulated all their guns and fired the lasers at the aliens who carry them.

Meanwhile at the construction site, some lavalads were on standby there for both security and to help with the construction effort, and when the aliens arrive, they fought against them. But as the allied aliens werent affected by the brainwashing from the bug alien soldiers, they were able to fight them as well fairly while the humans all barricade themselves and shoots laser guns at the enemy aliens. And in that fight, the lavalads were able to fight hand to hand against the reptilians, with a little bit of heat which burnt their skin as well except their hard backs. Meanwhile on the forest near the power plants, the coolers and some lavalads team up to fight against the enemy aliens. The coolers with sniper rifles while the lavalads all fighting hand to hand, protecting the humans from the reptilians who came.

“yes, they are finally here.” a shadow lurks from a car parked on the pentagon as the event was happening

“is that all?” max said high above the pentagon, now with alien laser guns all over him

But as max said that, there were also reptilians who were barehanded which storms through towards the pentagon, where the soldiers guarding the pentagon also open fire. But then the shadow came running towards one of the reptilians.

“hey there reptilian! I know thats not your name.”

“hey you! Get out of there woman!” the guards shouted towards the shadow

“come reptilians! Lets communicate!” she then took off her glasses to reveal herself

It was mark, and he has a device which he is carrying on his wrist. With his appearance, the guards were all baffled and confused on what to do. Then the reptilians came to mark and stood face to face against mark.

“i know you can hear me, I only wish to talk.” mark

But the reptilian didn’t talk, since the reptilian that stood against mark was about 7 feet tall and has a large mouth, so the reptilian just simply looked at mark and it found food. By then, mark activated the device on his wrist, which made him feel pain for a bit of time, before able to face the reptilian again. And as all of that was happening, the guards were also shooting against all the other aliens that came towards the pentagon.

“i know your just afraid. Please do talk to me.” mark

But the reptilian just didn’t speak, instead, it came walking towards him. This most delighted mark in a way, though what comes next will shock him, as the reptilian hugs him. And before mark was hugged, he was able to escape very fast.

“not so fast, thats a little bit too early.”

This made the reptilian mad, so the enemy decides to catch him as fast as he could, but couldn’t due to marks fast reactions.

“i said not yet. We still havent established talks yet right? Thats what intelligent beings do. And you wont be able to catch me. With this device that that stupid filipino designed, it will enhance my abilities--” mark said as he was still evading the reptilian

Then mark had headaches occur to him, and he couldnt control the pain coming from his head, which made him drop to his knees.
”what are you guys doing? Agh! This isnt talking!” mark said as he was writhing in pain

“yes it is, though you don’t deserve to be called intelligent, as you are just our food.” a bug alien said on his mind after revealing itself behind the reptilian

“wait! We can talk about this!” mark said as he was finally captured by the reptilian

As mark was writhing in pain from the reptilians embrace and from his mind, the bug alien then approaches mark from behind, writhing its tentacles and arms on marks sensitive skin.

“like I said, wait for a minute and lets talk! Please!” mark

But both aliens werent there to talk, as they were there to eat as they finally sink on their teeth towards marks slim shoulders, one alien for each side.

“agh!! you ungrateful--!” mark said before the reptilian devoured his head and detatched it from his now lifeless body

Max and the guards were also able to see this happening, while they were busy guarding the people inside the pentagon.

Meanwhile at the station where project rockstar is, at some distance from earth, there was trouble brewing where the station and the project was captured by the bug aliens during all the confusion.

“humans, we have thought about as many plans as possible.. but you! Your smarter than we think you are.” an alien queen was communicating via mind link

The alien queen was present and communicating via mind link on her ship, just outside the station, where the bug soldiers has captured the humans.

“please, spare us!” wells said as they all were suffering pain in the mind from slight force of mind control

“if you want us to spare you, then tell us the weakness of that warrior that leads you.” the bug queen

“jason wild?” wells

“so his name is jason wild. Tell me his weakness right away!” the bugs queen said as it increases the pain

“yes, I get it! Its his family! Though they are well heavily guarded right now.”
”what other weaknesses does he have? Tell me all that I need to know.” the bug queen

“thats the mystery, we don’t know. Its either he wont tell us or his power is very strong that--”

“silence! Based on your mind right now, it seems that you are not lying.” the bug queen said being irritated and increased the pain again

“you said something about powers, tell me what is his power?” the bug queen

“his power is called the quantum. He can control basically any particle in the universe, but only within a given range just like any other mutant.”

“particles huh. From what I can see in your knowledge, it seems that those powers prove to be a nuisance to us. Tell us humans, what can we do to get rid of jason wild?” the bug queen

“we have already tried many things in the past, but he proved himself to be indestructible.”

“nonesense!” the bug soldier said, pointing his gun at the humans

“But from his memories, he proves that hes not lying.” the bug queen said before the bug soldier lowered its weapon

“so, what is this machine for?” the bug queen

No one answered

“i said, what is this machine?!” the bug queen said by increasing the pain

“its for interstellar travel!”

“what are you doing you traitor!” wells

“i know! But they are still going to eat us even if we tell or don’t tell them right? So whats the use?!”

“silence!” the bug soldiers

“interesting machine. Can it do more?”the bug queen

“it can reveal the knowledge of the universe via project voodoo.”

“please release us, we have already told you everything.” wells

“show us how this.. voodoo works.” the bug queen

“you there! Get the machine running now!” the bug soldier demanded

“but the machine is only 95% repaired! It still needs repairs!” wells

“the queen demands it! Move!” the bug soldier

As they have no other choice, they set another human as test subject for the experiment again. But as they start the project voodoo after starting the project rockstar, the test subject died of electric shock. The bug queen even took interest in the project this time.

“again! And this time, if one doesnt work, take more!” the bug queen said as it increases the pain again

With that, they increased the test subject by 3, but still didn’t work. So the queen now demanded for the test subjects to be all of them, which the number of hostages are total about 50 plus, so professor wells agreed to remain as the operator. This time, it worked, and the bug queen also saw what it needed to see through the mind link from the humans. But as the information is too vast, the bug queen just narrowed its search for jasons weakness and it found a way instead to restrain him. Later on, on earth, jason has just finished resting along with jackie and they are now going back to their stations.

“hello max, whats wrong?” jason said as he answered his phone

“hi sir jason, its the project rockstar, we have detected activity there which concerns us very much.”

“i see. Whats the status of the project rockstar?”

“it has been activated for some time now, and its also not accepting instructions from our side to shut it down.”

“im still on my way there at the pentagon, I just had to rest at mason industries for a while.”

“wait, so your flying here?”

“yes, im riding the origami towards there.”

“good. Save your strength, since I have a bed feeling about all this.”

“me too, though the world leaders requests for me to investigate right?”

“yes, please do. Your the only one who is able to right now.”

“ok then. Let me check it out.”

Then after they hung up the call, jason heads to Yggdrasil again to get to an excalibur and go towards space, towards the station for project rockstar. After some time of travel towards the station, and fought against bug soldiers inside the station, he was able to rescue the hostages.

“thank you jason for rescuing us, though you didn’t just have to go here by yourself.” wells

“its alright. No one is available anyways, and we should have just abandoned this project when the war started.” jason

“anyways, let us close the wormhole now. Though I don’t know for how long it was open, can you help us again?” wells said as if having no recollection

“sure. Closing it now is just a piece of cake.” jason said as wells was speaking the truth and his subconscious was clean.

Though as jason felt that all this would be just too easy, that it feels like everything is a trap, he has no other choice but to go along with it for now. And once he has gone outside and into the top of the wormhole, at some distance from its gravitational pull, jason then felt somewhat like being restrained.

“whats happening?!” jason said, just a bit surprised

“this will be your grave jason wild.” fox and erwin said in unison and while struggling to restrain jason

“damn it! I knew that the bug queens would unite against me sooner or later.” jason said struggling

“what have you guys done with humanity now?”

“we have united for a cause, and that is to defeat you!”

“leave my people alone! Your fight is with me!”

“goodbye jason wild.”

With that, jason was then pushed towards the wormhole. After a few seconds of struggling, he then felt of a familiar energy pattern which then shoots its beam towards jasons back, luckily, his sword protected him from the blast but was not able to avoid pushing him into the wormhole.

“ugh, I hate you guys.” jason said struggling

“the feeling is mutual jason wild. We are the superior race while you all are just puny lifeforms,including those what you call reptilians.”

“well then, its good that I have personally trained these guys, since it might take about 2 queens I guess to control them.”

“h-how did you know?!”

“anyways, I will just ask one thing. What happens to your soldiers if all of you are busy with controlling the mutants?”

“all the soldiers goes to the elder queen. She manages all.”

“good to know.”

“what are you going to do now? Your trapped!”

“i can just do my best, thats all.” jason said as he was now almost at the mouth

Then, jason did the unexpected. By following billys example, he collected all the quantum energy, or dark energy, around the area including with the wormhole, and released all of it like a supernova. By then, fox and erwin woke up and their control was released, as if they were feeling really tired both mentally and physically. At the same time, jason was able to absorb all the energy from the laser blast and from the wormhole with his laser canon and shoots all of it towards the ship with the billy clones, thus also closing the wormhole.

“ugh.. what happened?” erwin

“erwin! Get in here! Its sir jason! He has saved us again!” fox said carrying jason by the shoulder while erwin was still confused

“what just happened? Werent we with the troops at the sun?”

“its also not clear to me, but one thing is clear. That sir jason saved us all again and is now very tired.”

“is there a ship nearby? Where is here?” erwin said, assessing the situation

“nope, it seems that we are at what remains of the rockstar. The machine itself looked spent.”

“i see. Anyways, lets all go towards the station. There must be a ship there.”

“quick.. inform others to kill all of them at once.. I have put all enemies to sleep..” jason said while struggling to stay awake

“yes sir!” fox said as both of them flies towards the station

When they got to the station, the people inside were very shocked at the event that had happened and didn’t say anything, aside from their faces filled with fear as jason was carried by fox all worn out. And from jason struggling to stay awake, he orders the continuation of repairs to the rockstar, before passing out. With jason all worn out, he was laid to rest at the excalibur where fox and erwin are to return back towards earth, after they informed of jasons orders.

“Raaahhh!!” jason shouted as he suddenly woke up from his bed, like from a bad dream

“your awake!” alexa said as she was arranging the flowers at the side

“uhh, let me guess, im in a hospital.”

“wrong. You are currently resting in Yggdrasil. I was shocked when you suddenly woke up like that, that you might have used your powers to send everything flying.”

“nope. Probably my subconscious prevented me. How long was I out?”

“about 3 days straight. I was worried that time when fox suddenly called over what happened. He said you were lying there at the center of the rockstar when they found you. Oh, and the world leaders are really pesky, they want your report as soon as possible when you wake up.”

“yes, I could see that they want my report. By the way, what happened after I was unconscious?”

“it was total chaos. As all people were frozen, even including in the army where it was in the sun, they all just unfroze and found themselves all beside either a bug or a reptilian. Even I was shocked that I froze inside the office. I will have you know that some people were already been eaten by the time we unfroze ourselves.”

“i see, thats good.”

“now I will need to hear your part of the story.”

Jason agreed and told her about what really happened during the time they all were frozen.

“how horrible.” alexa

“i know. So, what happened to all the bugs and reptilians?” jason

“all of them were disposed of immediately, starting with the bug queens, which was a real pain since we basically have to cut them up first before we can recycle them inside the brokkr. There was even a vote that occured in terms of how we will handle the bugs and the reptilians. Gladly, the vote to kill them all won, though they kept some still alive.”

“thats good. Its up to them now on what they would do with those aliens, though I would have voted to kill all of them.”

“yes, max and fox said that as well.”

“anyways, how are the projects going?”

“smooth. Ever since the war stopped, for now, projects from rod mason are getting made. Even other versions or upgrades are made as we speak.”

“thats great! It seems that humans are prospering.”

“about that, ever since the war ended for now, they are deciding on what to do with you and max said that they decided to leave you be.”

“what does that mean?”

“it means that your maybe relieved of your post for now.”

“maybe, though what I did may have given us some time to prepare ourselves for the next invasion.”

“you now have a vision towards that?”

“nope, not yet. But im thinking that this war will continue on and as long as they will come here for food. Speaking of food, where is jake?”

“oh, hes with jackie right now. Anyways, at least we will prosper in peace for a while..”

“until they will come back.” both of them said and agreed

After that, jason submitted a report towards the world leaders for what have happened during the war, which basically shocked all of them, though he assured that it was the only way and the very last measure that he will use since it will leave him unconscious for a long time. With that, some understood and some skeptical, though jason assured that the outcome of the war would have been worse if he wasn’t there to wake them all up. Jason also reminded them of what will happen after hes not here in the world, which he also suggests to research on the technology for anti-brain control, which they will also test it on a bug queen that they have also captured along the way. And thus, as long as both bug aliens and reptilians exists, the war continues on.
