Battle of Bombast

Danika faded into Pai’s chest, pushing his sought markings through. Apollo shot into the sky, riding his arrow and Sola's golden barrier stretched for the atmosphere, extending about three hundred yards long.

Bombast clashed onto Sola's barrier, and Apollo rained arrows from above, while lava poured over the star. Another object from space came crashing down on the star. Wind sent Apollo flying off his arrow, and lava darted everywhere.

Apollo fell from the sky; reaching his hand out, Pai teleported into the sky, catching him. They disappeared, and then emerged above Bombast. Apollo rocketed more arrows down. The farther they went, the larger they got. By the time they reached Bombast, they were fifty yards long.

The arrow hit on top of Bombast, however, an arm was summoned from fresh smoke, catching the arrow. It was a vast lava hound with tough rocky molten lava skin that peeled and regrew. The walking fire mountain heated the land.

"GNNARRRRRR!"

The beast roared, shooting lava. Apollo fired hundreds of arrows, blocking the lava, and arrows ripped through Bombast’s mouth. Bombast managed to swipe Apollo and Pai out of the air, crashing them throughout the land. Pai’s feather-style blade took the impact, heating it up some.

Bombast's four arms could stretch over the whole farm. Perched on top of Sola’s barrier, the creature stood two hundred feet tall, with lava covering its multiple rows of shark-like teeth. Kel flew through the clouds, holding Taro’s hand.

"Don’t forget about us," said Taro. He erupted a black beam from a ghost trigger, flying right through Bombast's head. Taro shot a burst of rapid rounds onto Bombast, while wind currents swirled around Kel's arm. She unleashed a strong gust of wind, smashing Bombast flat on Sola’s barrier.

"Move, guys!”

Kel flew off with Taro, as Sola’s star barrier wrapped around Bombast's arms and legs, holding the beast down. So fast it’s unrecognizable, the barrier shot a huge beam going into space. Sparks of essence floated to the surface, as everyone regrouped.

“Damn, where did the other two arms come from,” asked Pai, with us eyebrows bleeding.

“We gotta dodge those direct hits, or it’s gonna be troubling.”

"We’re just now starting, don’t stop shooting Robinhood,” mocked Sola.

As the tree line quivered, a streak of lava ran from above. Pai swiftly summoned his feather-style sword, deftly absorbing every piece of lava that rained down. But in the midst of the chaos, a smaller form of Bombast tore through Sola’s torso. It burrowed into her stomach, and a malevolent grin spread across the creature's face.

"I'm still here, you bastard," Sola growled, blood leaking from her mouth. She pointed both hands at the beast's face. "Star style blitz!" Stars roared from her palms, tearing the monster into oblivion. Gritting her teeth, Sola pulled the arm from her stomach, and a star formed out of the wound, closing it completely.

“How the fuck are you still alive,” Apollo asked in astonishment.

“It’s thanks to my people," Sola replied with steely determination.

"Guys, it’s not over yet, look," warned Kel.

The main vessel divided into different smaller beings, and a horde of creatures leaped off the barrier, hurtling towards everyone. But Apollo's arrows sliced through them, one after another, in a dazzling display of archery prowess. Pai materialized on Sola's barrier, slashing through the smaller beasts that charged ahead. The largest vessel shot lava at Pai, inadvertently killing some of its own.

Pai adeptly absorbed all the lava into his feather blade, but before he could retaliate, one medium-sized vessel lunged at him, repeatedly crashing him upon the barrier. With immense force, the creature hurled Pai into the air, and Kel quickly twisted onto Sola's star. "Move!"

With lightning-fast reflexes, he teleported just in time, and Kel sliced the medium-sized vessel apart. Pai reappeared above the beast that had slammed him, and with a swift motion, he slashed its head into three pieces. As the situation intensified, Kel sent a powerful gust of wind, blowing everything off the edge. Taro took matters into his own hands, causing them all to evaporate with ghost trigger.

Pai teleported beside Kel, and the menacing sight of hundreds of beasts surrounding them unfolded. Beasts of all shapes and sizes blitzed ahead, threatening to overwhelm them. "Stay close to me!" Kel commanded, her body spinning with heavy winds, creating a powerful tornado that enveloped them both.

Inside the raging vortex, everything flew, and Pai seized the opportunity to push the tornado towards Bombast. He launched himself over the beast, slamming it flat and condensing the scorching winds. The red essence from his feather-style sword poured into the wind, and together, their combined attack crashed onto Bombast, triggering multiple explosions. "GNNARRRRRR!"

As a black, dense smoke covered Bombast, Kel bravely pushed the mist away, only to be met with fiery giant rocks smashing into her face. Even her powerful winds couldn't fully protect her, leaving a line of fire on her star. "Kel!"

Teleporting before the mammoth creature, Bombast's fiery head turned 180 degrees, firing incoming shots before Pai. With a skillful slash, Pai managed to split some of the shots in two, but four more fires were directed at him. He teleported past some of them, but one shot connected, sending Pai crashing onto the surface.

Apollo couldn't help but wonder, "How many tricks does it have?" Bombast stood tall, stomping menacingly. Sola and Apollo took aim from atop the barrier, summoning mega ocean-sized arrows to strike Bombast from behind. However, most of the arrows were swiftly deflected, and only one managed to pierce inside the beast. "GNNARRRRRR!"

As the beast retaliated by throwing heated rocks, Sola's stars rained down from above, skillfully cutting them away. Sola snapped her fingers, causing her star barrier to open slightly, and Bombast fell, getting stuck halfway. Taro seized the opportunity, shooting a powerful beam from beneath that went right through its body.

In response, Bombast ripped off one of its arms, which then transformed into a large dagger, hurtling towards them. Sola quickly lifted part of the barrier, blocking the heated dagger's path.

Meanwhile, Bombast's vessels closed in around Taro. One vessel launched lava at him, but Taro spun and deftly dodged the shot. Another vessel dropped behind him, attempting a punch, but Taro swiftly knocked it away with the power of his ghost trigger.

With determination, Sola managed to close the hole under Bombast, ripping its lower body off. A vessel clashed with Taro, knocking his ghost trigger out of his hand.

Undeterred, Taro extended his arm, and with a swift motion, all the ghost triggers flew right back to him. Upside-down, his eyes turned black as he used his power to erase all the attacking beasts, making them vanish into nothingness.

As Taro prepared to land, one beast delivered a clean uppercut to his stomach. In response, Taro shot the beast, but the impact sent him flying into a nearby tree, snapping it in two. He realized he needed to conserve his spirit energy better; otherwise, he would be out of the fight early.

The dagger from Bombast auto-aimed towards them, but Apollo quickly zipped on his arrow, raining down thousands more arrows onto the colossal creature. Bombast retaliated by firing multiple fiery rocks at the arrows, creating a hurricane of smoke in the air. Apollo knew he had to be prepared for the attack coming his way. An arm came flying out, and with a quick dodge, Apollo managed to evade the swipe by a hair's breadth.

Blood portals extended out, tearing a massive arrow towards Bombast, but it split itself into two from the torso. In a daring move, Apollo leaped up, and his arrow transformed into a dagger, clashing fiercely with Bombast's own dagger. The force between the two weapons created a powerful explosion.

Apollo crashed through Bombast's dagger, firing his arrow through the beast's mouth. The arrow's entry points shone with a brilliant diamond-blue light. As Bombast's burnt arm fell to the barrier, another dagger cracked Apollo, sending him flying towards the forest.

Bombast's upper body on the barrier pushed itself off, regenerating its form, and all its arms bombarded Sola with fiery rocks. She swiftly moved away, using her stars to burst among Bombast, causing the beast to fall and release a swarm of a hundred smaller beasts.

Sola wasted no time, vaporizing the smaller beasts as soon as she could. Bombast swung both arms towards her, but she managed to put up a barrier just in time. However, two daggers managed to smash through her shielding, and she was sent crashing to the ground below.

The star princess coughed up blood as Bombast relentlessly slammed against her barrier, causing cracks to spread little by little. Seeing the danger, she ordered everyone to go, and the spaceship quickly hovered off the ground, shooting out from the barn and flying away. With a triumphant "WHOOOO!" from Mr. Z, the barrier wrapped up Bombast just in time for him to drop a bomb inside.

The orb containing the bomb grew smaller and smaller, causing explosions to rip inside, creating a fiery vacuum of essence. Finally, Bombast fell to the ground as the barrier released its grip. Pai quickly teleported, absorbing the fire from the explosion and directing it upon the monster. He managed to cut one of Bombast's arms clean off before being crushed. Despite teleporting again and preparing to strike, Bombast quickly transformed his chopped arm into a dagger, swinging it towards Pai.

In a moment of panic, Pai realized he wouldn't be able to dodge the incoming attack. However, he swiftly shifted his sword to the left, blocking the blow just in time. The force sent Pai crashing into a nearby hill. As the battle raged on, Mr. Z flew over Bombast, dropping bombs, while Kel rushed to Sola with her arm dripping warm blood. Taro emerged from the tree line, determined to join the fight.
