World Log Entry 2: 2055 - The 10 survivors

It was just like any other day for this little orphanage in shanghai. The kids would wake up, have class in the morning, and then go out to the town to play. There were 10 of these kids. They were all orphans from various conflicts across the world who were picked up by the Russos and bought to this orphanage. In a strange coincidence, all 10 of these kids had names beginning with R.

Rose, Reggie, Reinhard, Ron, Reina , Rin, Ria, Richard, Richard, Rise , Reona. They were lead by their caretaker Gyna Lim Russo. 

They were poor but they were happy, they saw each other as a family. That was until one day, which started like any other day. Reggie went missing, they spent the next few weeks looking for him , and then Gyna said she was gonna look for him. Rise was suspicious and decided to follow her teacher, with Richard behind her cause they sensed something was wrong with the situation. They had followed Gyna to a an underground bunker and were hiding behind a wall, and they witnessed Gyna arguing with a few man in black, they could not understand what they were saying but could hear a vauge mention of Reona's name. Rise who had immediately jumped at the mention of the name blew their cover and the man in black and Gyna had spotted her and Richard. They were then quickly caught when they tried to escape. Their legs were then chained to the floor and then they heard more chatter. As Rise started to cry, Richard told her not to panic and they'll find their way out. They were then approached by Gyna and they were told they only had 2 choices left, either die or suffer their experiments like Reona, when asked what she meant, she opened a door to a room and showed the two what She meant. There was Reona, covered completely black. He didn't even looked alive. The 2 siblings were scared but wanted to live so they agreed to the experiment. The experiment details are lost to this recorder but the key detail involved trying to fuse Ronove with living creatures. The experiment was going forth when something happened to the power source, and the labs power suddenly went out. Richard took the chance to escape with his sister.

They then returned to the orphanage in the sorry state they were in, Rise's hand being all black while Richards entire leg was. Before the remaining kids could ask them what was wrong. Their teacher Gyna had returned looking panicked. She had told everyone to run, before anyone could get their bearings, they witnessed Gyna turn into a huge monster, everyone started to panic and run away, they tried to pull Richard and rise to safety but they were just kids and didn't get far before Richard insist they put him down. He then decided to run back to the orphanage and Rise was not far behind, refusing to abandon her brother. Of course, while all this was happening, the village people were slowly being wiped out, whether it be by turning into beasts or thru being erased with the stone. And the incident came to be known as the R9 younglings incident. While only 7 of the kids could be found, they insisted there was 2 more of them and were back there but of course could not be found. Not after what they had witnessed. The 2 siblings would only resurface 7 years later along with a weird beast that looked strangely like the beast their teacher had turned into. When asked by her friends what the beast was she would only say it's name is Regyna and it was a gift from her brother.
