"What was I thinking when I said that?"

She had just declared herself the girlfriend of somebody in front of his parents.

"And, Tiberiu? Really? After all this time, I hear his name just like that? By chance?"

Kellan: "I think you are exaggerating a bit."

She gave him an ice-cold stare. Kellans froze in place.

Kellan: "I didn't know you liked him that much. You seem to bully him a lot. Especially lately."

"That... I mean... I don't know what else to do. He keeps keeping up the status quo when it is clear we are way past that. It is just driving me crazy."

She had been trying subtle ways to get "Tiberiu" to confess for the longest time. She went as far as to accept an invitation to a village that changed everything.

Of course, she regretted that, she even said she was sorry, but he just brushed it off.

"Even acting humble didn't help. Acting weak almost got me married to you. Everything I try makes things worse. What if he gets tired of me?"

Kellan was at a loss for words. The last thing he wanted was to hear how the girl he likes fusses over another man.

But, as dirty as he liked to play, Kellan was not the dirtbag Tiberiu believed him to be. He understood one thing when he saw Mori like that.

Kellan: "Mori, how do you really feel about Chief.?

"How do you think I feel? I love him. I want him to finally be happy. I can't stand to see him every day looking in the distance in silence. I know he is hurting in those moments. I know he is thinking of a way to make everything go his way. Yet it never does..."

As the girl was speaking, Kellan could see drops of water falling to the ground, but her eyes had never been looking his way, so all he could do was guess what she looked like in that moment.

Kellan: "So that's how it is. I see..."

Kellan: "Ahhhh...ok fine. I know when it is time to give up unlike him. Listen here. I will tell you how to get a man like that to finally make his move."

This little talk happened while Tiberiu was helping his dad get some things out of the cellar. For some reason, he said that that is something only he and his dad can do.
