Chapter 1

*yawns*.. "back to school huh.." leo said as he walks towards the school gates

The school was very big, and has lots of trees in its entrance, where a lot of cars were coming and going as well in its big parking space, right before the whole entrance. The school itself was very big and spacious, and had a lot of trees and vegetation in the premises. And the school is located right on top of a hill as well, where leo and all the other students were walking towards the school gates.

“ok, at least no one recognizes me here.” leo said as he walks along with the students, and hiding his face with his hood, where he also arrived a bit early

After that, he then walks past an open classroom at the ground floor, where there was a beautiful girl sitting at an open window, gazing upon the open sky. Where he was also captivated by the beauty of both the person, along with the scenery, and started to slowly walk towards her.

Leo then said to himself “why am I walking towards her? Why cant I stop?”, as he slowly walked towards her

Until.. a tear fell down her left cheek, and she attempted to fall. That was also when he immediately knew, that she was trying to attempt suicide, and he came back to his senses, then ran to grab her left hand as he holds on to the other side of the window.

“whoa! Not so fast!” leo said as he then pulls her towards him. “im just glad I passed by!”

Then as tears slightly fall down her cheeks, they found themselves staring at each other, and dazzled. The atmosphere was also perfect, right after saving the frail beautiful girl, as they both stared to each other like it was destiny. Where his hands were on her waist, and her also being so close, that he can almost smell her shampoo.

“whoa! hold your horses me!” leo said to himself as he snapped back to reality

Upon closer look, she had slight eye bags on her eyes, as tears still falls down her face.

“wh-whats your problem! Let me go!” she said as she tries to escape from him

They then had a bit of a struggle, before he pulled her off the window with all his strength, and towards the floor, all while still holding her close.

“whoa there! Why are you doing this?!” leo said as he still holds on to her

“let me go! You pervert!” she said, before she was able to free herself from him

“hahh.. dont you know that what you did was really dangerous?” leo said as he tries to sit comfortably

“i-I know that! Its none of your business anyways!” she said as she now cries, and leaned her shoulder at the board, facing him

“if you have a problem, would you like to share it with me?” leo said as he now approaches the problem with kindness, as he thinks that there might be some kind of deeper reason for her actions

“you don’t know? Who might you be?” she said in surprise, and not hiding her face anymore

“im a new student at this school, and my name is leonardo rah rivera, but my parents and close pips call me leo.” he said as he smiled gleefully

“so that’s why you saved me, because you don’t know.” she said, as if enlightened by the fact

“and who might you be? Or should I call you miss beautiful instead?” he said joyfully

She laughed a bit, before she said: “my name is hannah lica misto, and my family calls me lica. Im also a new student at this school.” she said with a slight smile

“can I call you lica too? Please do also sit.” he said as he offered his empty front

“ok.” she said before she sat across him

“now, can you tell me whats bothering you?” leo said, as hes now all serious

As if like telling her own father or something, she then tells him of her story, without hesitating.

“i don’t really know what started it, but I eventually became a target towards bullying in my junior high. Then when I came here in this room, my head was filled with thoughts on the possibility of me being bullied again. And that’s why I did that.” lica said, with her head down

“i see. Its no wonder that you might had the sudden impulse. Have you talked to this with your parents?” leo said, before he touched her hand

“my parents are often on a business trip, so its always me alone in the house, and I hadnt talked about this with them yet.” lica said, a bit blushing while now looking at the side

Leo then stood up, after a small sigh.

“its alright though, im here with you.” he said as he reached out his hand to her

With a little smile, she then takes his hand to stand up, all before they both went to the gymnasium for the opening ceremony. Which the gymnasium was located at the further back of the school. And while they were holding hands and walking, she was also looking at their hands as they walk.

After the opening ceremony, and right after going to the boards outside the school building and searched for their classroom assignments, they then got to their assigned classroom.

"so lica, which class are you assigned to?" leo said as they were chatting a bit and walking towards his assigned class

"im in class 1-C, and you?" lica said

"me too! What a coincidence!" leo said

"uhm.. I have been meaning to ask." lica said

"what is it? Toilet?" leo said with a joke

"no!" lica said as she slightly smacked his arm. "i mean to say is, why are you even bothering with someone like me?" she said before grabbing his sleeve.

"well, how could i explain this.." leo said, a bit blushing. "i couldnt leave you alone, and why would such a beautiful girl be trying to do such a thing?"

"beautiful? Haha.. Thanks, but you shouldnt bother with someone like me." lica said being gloomy again, before arriving to their classroom

"this is my own choice, and what are friends for." leo said as he opens the door with a smile

In that moment, lica felt with her heart, that she has truly met someone of whom she really can call, as a friend. And as she let go of him, she felt a tear flow again in her eye, before wiping it again.

"hello class, please be seated." the teacher said as leo enters the classroom at the back

"come on, homeroom is starting." leo said as he reaches out to lica again

As lica agreed with a smile, they entered the classroom filled with some unique students, and a kind looking teacher. They then seated beside each other, at the back seat.

"ok.. Now that everyone has seated, i will first introduce myself. My name is hera therese bonjo. Pleased to meet you all." hera said with a pleasing smile

"yes maam! I have a question. Do you have a boyfriend?" one of the boys at the front teasingly said

"whats your age?" said another guy.

"what are your 3 sizes?" said yet another guy, as the rest of the class had different reactions

"boys! Please behave!" angrily said a girl at the middle

"well, thats private information. So i cant just tell you that." hera said, holding her temper

"ehh? Come on maam." the first guy said before he stood and goes towards hera. "lets both get to know ourselves better." he said as he wallslam at her side

"stop it this instant!" leo shouted, as he stood up, where his commanding voice vibrated in the room

The attention of the whole class was now on him, as he now got out of his desk, and walks towards the guy.

"this isnt the proper way to deal with a lady!" leo said as he points to him, while the other guy just smiles and now walks towards leo

"who are you to lecture me?!" he said before he tries to land a punch when they were closer, and with a smile

But when the guy tried to punch leo, he dodged to the left, did an uppercut, and stopped before it landed at the guys chin. This time, the guy was surprised, wiping the smile off his face.

"i will warn you, please do stop all this before you get hurt." leo said before he pulls back, to just stand

"what?! You dare humiliate me?!" the guy said before he did another punch, this time, with full force

But when the guy tried again, leo dodges right, and stopped his punch at the guys cheek.

"last warning." leo said before pulled back to stand properly again

Frustrated, and without thinking, the guy now angrily tries to front kick him. And to no avail, as he dodged again to the left. But this time, he guided the kick further more front, making him do the split. All while he does the victory stance, like from after fighting a bull.

"YOUCHH!!" the guy said, as he cries in agony

"i tried to warn you." leo said to him, before going back to his seat

"you there! You shouldnt-" hera tried to tell leo, only to be interrupted by another teacher entering

"whats happening here?! Why is it so noisy?!" the teacher said, before spotting the bully in agony over the corner. "what just happened here?" he then said out of curiosity.
