Chapter 104:
The Lifeless Supermoon: A Fateful Encounter
"Its going to start in thirty minutes huh... I wonder if Ayane-chan is going to be alright..."
Kanako went there an hour early to get the front row to set up his camera to record the drama. He was excited for sure, but equally worried about Ayane's mental condition.
"Theres still very few people in the auditorium..." He looked around which seemed like a deserted island. The inclined auditorium looked like a movie theatre. The main actors of the drama are already behind the curtains, and the backstage volunteers were rushing to set up the whole scene. They all probably know the script, but Kanako didn't. He also didn't feel that well about the script. A script where there is a female lead and a male lead is bound to have romance in it.
"Could this be... Am I jealous?" He didn't feel well in his heart. "I can't think of these stuffs. I just have to help Ayane-chan."
Someone from the backstage came to the auditorium from behind the curtains. She wasn't an actor, thats for sure.
"That's Miko-chan, isn't she? The scriptwriter?" He said to himself. There weren't anyone with him. Kyo told that he would join him later after filling up his stomach.
She looked around for a bit, before making eye contact with Kanako. She seemed to be walking in his direction without any deviations, causing confusion in Kanako's mind.
"Why is she coming towards me? Does she need something?" He thought.
"Would you please come with me, Kanako-senpai?" Miko pleaded.
"Ehh? But why? Are you guys short staffed? I don't mind helping if thats the case."
"No that's not the case... The actress is having a panic attack."
"Huh?"
It seemed like an emergency. But Ayane looked like she was doing fine, maybe the pressure caught up to her? He didn't know. She was doing this job for quite some time though. Maybe this is her first time in a long while and she was expecting to get the perfect results. But she needed his support, that's for sure.
"I will go." Kanako followed Miko into the backstage.
"But what do you mean by a panic attack though. This is nit a light word to use randomly you know?"
"You will see what I meant. She usually doesn't act that way."
Her wording only made him more confused, and worried too. Does all writers like to over-exaggerate the situation to make a more impactful scene? Or is she really having a panic attack?
