Chapter 2:
Demon's Path | Akuma No Michi
“Hello sir, may I speak to you?”- Said the cloaked mystery. “Sure edge lord, meet me in five.”- Replied Akuma. After rushing to his favorite noodle place and eating most of the food there (Free of course, after beating the owner that is.) He met with the cloaked man, they both sat down at a wooden bench, in front of them could be seen the immaculate and bewildering greenery, keep in mind, this was just outside of that filthy arena. The colorful flowers, vibrant and attractive rose from the thick trees, it was odd to see flowers being birthed by a tree, yet spectacular. “Akuma sir, don’t you enjoy the beautiful nature, look at it, isn’t it amazing?”- “Don’t really find this shit appealing, more of a crime lord guy.”- “Oh, I see. Well let me get on point, you are truly evil. However I need to warn you, to unlock the true essence of your potential, you must go to the White Mountains, be careful, Lady Death will be waiting, and she’s not like anyone you’ve met before.”- “Oh wow, I mean, I don’t really give a shit, but my interest peaked since you said she’s strong right? So where is this place so I can fight this death bitch or whatever?”- “Ah yes sir, she is indeed extremely powerful, now as far as the location, follow this.”- Out of his dark pockets he pulled out what seemed to be a sort of entity, a spirit. A bulb of light that shone brighter than the sky, it was white in color, and a spherical shape. Akuma first took the spirit, and tried to crush it, but it kept coming back. So the childish devil gave up. “Alright Creep, thanks for this, I’ll go follow this thing now.” His sharp eyes followed the orb perfectly. The good thing was that his speed could keep up with the orb, which moved at speeds similar to his. This was a long trip, a really long trip, to the other side of the world. He travelled throughout the numerous forests, deserts, marshes, and finally reached the side of the earth which was covered by the cold snow, white as a pearl. His legs started getting slower, and so did the orb. It would seem that the orb matched the user. His breathing got heavier, he was moving at decreased speeds, and he was starting to freeze from the inside. After all he was only wearing a pair of short trousers and flip flops that would soon break apart. His eyelids felt to him like a truck on top of his eyes, weighing them to close. After all that struggle, his system collapsed, his eyes closed, and he fell face first to the chilling ground. His evil eyes awoke, along with the rest of his body, yet he couldn’t move. His muscles were frozen by the cold. Akuma’s vision was blurry at first, but it came back to normal after some minutes. He overheard the various conversations, but was too confused to understand them. When his senses were finally in check, he could see a man with yellow hair, a scar across his right eye, his face was filthy but his features were rather clean. He was wearing a thick jacket, with his hood on. Outside the winter breeze struck what seemed like a tent. “Hello friend, are you awake?”- This man spoke, but in a language unrecognizable by Akuma, it was Russian. Akuma’s intellect wasn’t quite existent so he didn’t even know that other languages existed. “Uh, I… Speak…. Japan”- Akuma tried to formulate a sentence in english, broken english, yet he tried. “Alright friend, we can talk in English if that helps.”- The man seemed quite knowledgeable. “O-Oka...y Shu...re.” His attempts were futile, idiotic, as a writer I must say his struggles are quite comedical. “Hey hey Writer, don’t laugh at me or I’ll beat the shit out of you!”- Wow Akuma.
